A mediocre tablet, expected better from Samsung
First off, after three months, the finish is fine. It has good battery life, although it's a bit slow to charge. Display is fine, speakers are OK, touch screen works fine.
The little things:
The pre-installed apps that take up space but add nothing of value.
The way many apps will not orient horizontally, which is annoying as heck.
The inability to fine tune some settings, and the lack of clear explanations of what certain settings do.
By far THE most annoying thing is where they located the charging port. It's a tablet, not a phone. The port is in the middle of the right side when held horizontally, exactly where your right hand holds it. I often use the tablet while it's charging. The cord is in the worst possible place for this. I find myself turning the tablet vertically when using it while charging. Then at least I can hold it relatively comfortably, although I hate typing and working in that orientation.
It's like whoever designed this never used a tablet while charging it before. It's actually making me think of replacing it already. Which su*ks.

Great tablet, have several and no issues
I've purchased many tablets for my kids over the years, and this is my favorite. All 4 of them have one of these now. The reasons are pretty simple.
1. USB C charging. No matter what I say, my kids will end up playing them while charging, and the micro usb with the design, tended to break. The even design of the USB C has eliminated this problem.
2. Size. We have had 7, 8 and 10. The 10 inch is just more engaging and interactive, especially for kids. I wasn't looking for portability, so these are the best size fit for us.
3. Brand. We are a samsung house. We have tried all different kinds of tablets and the "off" brands just have a lot of problems and dont hold up (plus it's harder to find cases for them, especially kids cases)
This tablet has great battery life, has a decent internal memory and can hold a large memory card, has a great picture, and just works. We have 4 of them, from a month and a half old to a year and a half old and none of them have had any problems. If one were to break, I wouldn't hesitate to buy this tablet again, and I'm thinking about buying one for myself!

Nice and affordable tablet
I wanted a tablet for Zoom and just casual browsing. It meets all my expectations and it's snappy. I've been using an Amazon Fire 7, and it is sluggish at best. This is a great upgrade for the price. The speakers are great compared to my old Amazon Fire 7, which has a rear speaker, so I can't hear anything if I put it down. The camera quality is meh, but I don't use my tablet to take pictures. The front-facing camera is okay and serviceable for what it's for (Zoom). I've used it for videos on Youtube, and it's fine, although it can only go up to 1080p and nothing more. If you are getting one, make sure to get a micro sd card because 32gb is not sufficient if you download a lot of things. One problem that I have with the tablet is that it doesn't come with a quick charge, so it does take a while to charge to full. But again, I'm not using this tablet all day, and I can leave it charging till I use it. I think you can get a quick charger for it on Amazon for a low price easily if you want it to charge faster.

Good budget tablet, gets the job done
I wanted something for reading pdfs and e-books, watching videos, and playing the occasional game. This tablet does great on all 3 counts. For the price I paid ($179), it is an excellent tablet. The screen is pretty, battery life is pretty good.
A couple things to know before buying.
- It is a bit laggy. Not being the highest end tablet, it doesn't have the highest end hardware. Honestly for me, it's not a problem, and once apps and webpages load, it's smooth.
- This tab runs on Samsung OneUI, which means certain parts of Samsung Knox are not supported. (e.g. the Secure Folder will not work.)
- The included adapter does not seem to fast charge most devices, weirdly enough. It does fine for this tablet, but for my other devices, no fast charge. It's different than the other Samsung adapters I have. Not sure why this is.
Overall, good stuff.

JUST WHAT I WANTED!!
It took me forever to make a decision on what tablet I wanted since I don't like spending money. What I mainly needed the tablet for was to play my ifit app so I could have a bigger screen to watch while I was on my treadmill. At first I got a huge 18" travel monitor, which was wonderful, but it didn't have its own power supply, so I returned it immediately. I saw some of the negative reviews for this item, and was very nervous about the quality, but was happily surprised to receive it, have a quick, easy set-up and immediately be able to use it for my workout. The size is nice, the screen quality is amazing for the price, the touch screen is as sensitive as my S9 Galaxy Phone, and the battery life is outstanding. I really have to say that it is like having a larger version of my phone. It is that impressive!! I am not sure what you intentions are for using this device, but if you are having any reservations or concerns about the quality and ease of use, don't hesitate to buy this item!!!

Great tablet for the money less than adequate Mic
Camera is average, screen quality is great, versatility is great, though placement of the camera and Mic not sure about. My greatest compliment is above expectations on overall quality, however and it’s a big however the mic is less than average significantly so! It does not pick up sound well and it’s difficult to hear even in at full volume on my Samsung GT S6. It totally negates a five star cost in mind, Even for the money. A vertical camera placement and a significantly better Mike would make this perfect for the money and bearing in mind money in my mind I still think that I can only give it four stars with a better MIC, even in the same position and camera in the same position you would’ve got five stars With the value for money. I gave it to my girlfriend for primary video chatting so that’s my usage content with her using it for basic Internet searches and so on and so forth which it does perfectly however the items I described as an issue I will live with for now

It's very good but heavy.
Top notch in most ways but quite heavy. The battery life, while good, isn't enough to make me forget the weight of the thing. I'm not a Samsung phone fan (and there's a number of preloaded apps for people with Samsung phones) but the preloaded internet app is a good version of Chrome and integrates all your saved stuff with gmail account sign in. Not too many trial software items or unwanted background processes. It's snappy but still reloads an app each time you switch tabs. I got it to work with other devices and that has been very good. Lots of refinement on things like the onscreen keyboard so that most everything you need is there (and thankfully not full of emojis). Wifi reception is normal, nothing special.
So while I really like it, often enough I find myself deciding whether I want to grab it or use my phone to look something up because of the almost laptop weight. Did I say the screen is great?

Very short life span...
This tablet, purchased for school, lasted exactly one year. One evening, it just did not turn on. It is gone...fried, expired. I had an IT friend try to troubleshoot possible issues, with no resolve. Needless to say, I am very disappointed and slightly annoyed. For the price of this device, I would have liked to have gotten a BIT more than a year out of it. Be wary... if you do not have $150 to throw away, this may not be the tablet for you. Before it decided to toss away its existence, it was a handy little device. Great screen, good battery...a tool good for text books and research, however, the frustration of its demise...and spending $199, when I bought it, is too much to try again.

It’s amazing, an answer to my tablet woes!
This wonderful little tablet is PERFECT for streaming videos & quickly editing documents. I browsed quicjky have all of my streaming channels accessible to ALL formats. To be honest, it allows Netflix, Hulu, Prime video, Peacock, etc., all one one device. (You’d be amazed at how many lock one or two apps out.)
I’ve had a terrible time getting Netflix on a tablet! I’ve bought 2 tablets now, and this is a keeper. The other “phablet” will be returned ASAP. No permissions for Microsoft, except Office 365 LIVE and I hate editing docs in Microsoft Edge. But with this Samsung, it’s like there have never been any problems before. It makes me that happy
It’s sleek design leaves you holding a super slim, super powerful, super fast ticket to entertainment or work. It brags a display that has the narrowest margins, allowing almost full-tablet viewing. Picture is brilliant & clear. It charged with a USB type. It took about 30mins to reach a full charge. Crazy fast!
The 2020 A7 less than 1 pound so can be carried around all day, and it also fits well in a drawer. Okay, okay, i can slide it into my purse & can’t tell it’s even there
You won’t be disappointed. And it was only $2 more than the 2019 A7! I had no idea this was a brand new product!

Very nice tablet
I had an 8" Samsung that was getting a little old and tired, but I never had a real issue with it. I bought this 10" one and it is great. It is fast, has longer battery life, brighter screen and being able to get 64g is a super plus. Samsung has a great transfer process for all your apps and stuff. The instructions are confusing, but it works really well. Note: If you are upgrading from an older tablet, keep the old one to use for other stuff around the house. After the new one is up and running, reset the old one and only put the few apps that you might need on in it and use it for home cameras, alarm and automation. I have my old tablet mounted on the wall at eye level in the garage and permanently powered. I can check cameras, listen to music/news and watch how-to videos for projects. I can even watch sports on it via my Dish Anywhere service. It is also connected via BT to my garage stereo.

This tablet is the best tablet for my husband who was in the military retired and had never had a tablet before. Got a job as a construction manager so he needed something more than just his phone and this man is so rough on stuff an drops everything and it has taken a beating.. granted I did get a cover but this tablet is the best one ever.
If I would have got him an Apple even with a case it would no longer be in service.. love love this tablet I give it 10 stars ⭐️

Amazing tablet but useless for musicians who want to use this to record via OTG USB devices
This is a great tablet. I have the 2021 version that I bought from this very ad. This would be perfect except for one huge unadvertised flaw that makes this completely and totally useless to me. The problem is that Samsung has removed the charging circuit that allows you to use an OTG dongle to use an external USB device while charging a tablet. This is a problem for me because the only reason I bought this tablet was because I'm a musician who wanted to use it for the brain of a portable recording studio setup. For example if I want to use my midi keyboard to play piano sounds in my recording software I can plug it into the OTG USB dongle and it'll work fine unless I plug power into the dongle, and then IT will no longer receive data and it will only Power the tablet. So what this means is any devices you have plugged in Via the OTG connection will be disabled as soon as you plug in the power to the OTG connector. This is a huge bummer for me because I love this tablet and I think it's way better then any iPad that's even remotely in the same price range. Since Samsung is obviously not going to advertise this I ended up spending about $250 in accessories for this thing to accommodate the portable recording setup I thought I was going to use this for. I hope I didn't lose the Box because I need to return this now. Awesome tablet but steer clear if you are a musician who uses external USB devices that you want to connect to this tablet.

После двух лет ежедневного использования по 14-18 часов в день все по-прежнему работает. Батарея работает не так долго, как обычно, но за то время, что я пользуюсь ею каждый день, батарея стала настоящим чемпионом! Единственное, чего бы мне хотелось, чтобы у этого было больше внутренней памяти. Это заняло более 2 лет, но мне приходится удалять приложения, чтобы освободить место для новых. Поэтому мне приходится оценивать, как часто я пользуюсь некоторыми из них или чего я хочу больше. Добавление дополнительного объема внешней памяти не решает эту проблему, поскольку приложения невозможно перенести на внешнее хранилище. Моя единственная жалоба на этот планшет.

Appreciate bigger screen
I was reluctant to pay for a larger screen, however I am glad I did and recommend it. I watch shows on the tablet primarily. Glad you not be using my phone for that. I believe Samsung is an excellent product line. Have had their phones on the past. Paying more money for a tablet ($250.00) is better than buying a less expensive ($50.00 & $100.00) my previous 2 tablets. They were not worth the money. Slow. Unreliable touch screen. This was several years ago so maybe that has changed. Fast Wi-Fi connection (better than my new Lebanon laptop). Get a case for it. Holds the tablet up for viewing and if course protection. Battery life seems good. I don't use it forore than an hour at night, but didnt turn it off for 3 days and still had a decent charge on the battery. I will buy another one when needed.

Fantastic tablet... no need to root it.
My Google Nexus 10 (9 years old) finally died and it was struggling to keep up anyways so I bough this as a replacement. Buy this if you want to surf the web and stream content from your favorite provider. If you are a hardcore gamer this is not for you as you will need more horse power. I don't play games at all on it as that's what my xbox is for. My old Nexus 10 was rooted so figured I might do that with this, but after getting it and setting it up I decided not to as you void the warranty. Samsung has not put very much crap on it you can't either hide or uninstall which is a good thing. Samsung's "android experience" on this tablet is really good compared to stock android. Overall you can't beat this for the price. If you get lucky, like me sometimes they offer $50 off of the 64gb model which makes it even more of a deal.
