Purchased in April 2019 and in October of 2019 I started to notice it would not stay hot. I would unplug and plug in or turn off and on. So the safety feature feature is working as it will not stay hot. Then weeks later my wife mentioned something is wrong with the iron. If you purchase make sure and purchase the extended warranty.

Definitely not what I was expecting from a Rowenta. Seems very cheap and the steam output isn’t balanced. I plan to return.

Coming from a person that only uses Rowenta irons my mother loves this iron. She is on her second iron, she irons at least 4 times a weeks with plenty of starch. They do last her a while before she replaces them. I'm glad I was able to find her this iron here on amazon at a great price,

I went from a 15 year old B&D to this Cadillac of irons. It heats up completely in 20 seconds flat. It has never once leaked. It puts out tons of steam. I used to leave my B&D on the ironing board face down while I re-adjusted the clothes I was ironing so I didnt loose the steam train, this thing you put it upright, re-adjust and as soon as it hits the board its steaming like a champ. really good iron.

Half of the controls didn’t work. The temperature knob turns to a higher temperature. The steam only works when shaking. Power burst and spray buttons don’t work.

I ordered this iron a little hesitantly, but have found it to be good on all points. The tip of the sole plate is great in small areas, the steam varies from none to huge amounts of steam, depending on settings. Even steams vertically!
The spray and burst of steam work perfectly and there are no buttons to push accidentally. I was hoping it would have a safety shutoff override, but it doesn't. Although I have to say it re-heats quickly and I hardly notice that it was shut off. Saves worry if I may have forgotten to unplug when I leave.

Received defected item...unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to use the iron for a several months and by then the Amazon's return window was over. Just very upset that such item is being sold. Please do your research before purchasing this iron since I thought, based on great reviews, it was a good investment. Now, it's just a junk.

Never know what temperature the high setting will be. Sometimes too hot, sometimes won’t take the wrinkles out. Would not buy again. Also leaks after only 3 months.

Used another Rowenta before and were quite happy, but the cord ripped. This model iron does not remain heated while in use. Totally useless.

I have been using the professional iron with the boiler separately for many years, it does an incredible job, but I wanted something that heats faster. This iron is nearly as good as that one, it is just a bit heavier. I would recommend this iron to anybody.

Iron works fine. My issue is I have 2 other Rowenta Irons both of which stopped woking.
There is no repair shop in or near my city and they will not call me!
All it takes is a call-I want to know where I can have these repaired! They are not cheap$$$

The iron will not heat as well as other rowenta irons I have used in the past. I have had the iron about 7 months and it is on it’s last leg. I am so disappointed. I hate paying this price for a product that is inferior to less expensive ones on the market. You get what you pay for doesn’t apply to this iron.

dial did not work but will not bother to return. iron works with some intuitive adjustments.
