This is the 2nd pair of this exact product that I purchased (Dec 2010), the 1st pair having been purchased June 2010. Shortly after receiving the 2nd pair, the 1st one malfunctioned with 1 of the earphones no longer producing sound. After initially contacting Amazon about this defect, I was referred to Razer. After a series of e-mails back and forth from Razer technical support and customer support with various requests of proof of purchase of the item and finally a request for the serial number, which is only found on the original packaging- Razer informs me that it has passed 6 months since purchase and no exchange will be provided. No offer to fix the product- nothing- just a dead end after a giant run around. The worst experience I have ever had on an internet purchase with lack of support on the part of the product company, Razer. For this reason alone I would find another company to buy headphones from- hopefully they will stand behind their product for longer than 6 months!!

Bought these about a month ago. Overall I am happy with the way they sound. I use them at work and working out in the gym. And like another reveiwer said, the stay nice and snug when I work out. The bass is decent and they do a pretty good job of isolating sound from the outside. I really like the carrying case. I has room to also include my sansa mp3 player and usb cord that goes with it so I can carry it all together. I bought these to listen to my mp3 player rather than use them for gaming. When I have used them for gaming I would have prefered a longer cable but that is only because my computer does not have a front input for my headphones.I would recommend these as a good price for good sounding set if earbuds.

I did a good amount of research before settling on these headphones. They hit a sweet spot between the higher-end options, that are much more expensive, and the low-end options. They arrived with small, medium, and large ear pads so finding a good fit was easy. The sound is good and there is plenty of cord length to connect them to a device in your pocket. Said cord is a bit springy which makes it much easier to unwind than my old ipod buds were. Less time spent untangling makes me happy.

I thought these would be a good replacement for my old Creative EP-630's that stopped working as they are similarly priced and speak of similar attributes. The reviews for these Razer Moray earbuds were mostly favorable as well. I felt pretty deceived after I got them in the mail and put them in. My expectations were instantly dashed. I thought, well, I'll let them get some burn in time. Nope! Didn't help at all. Well, maybe it's the size of the rubber insert. Nope! Still didn't isolate adequately from outside sound, nor did they produce a level of bass that should be expected by such dramatic advertising.My other big gripe? Any little piece of earwax that you might have in your ears will stick onto the rubber inserts and will not come off without quite a bit of work. It's like Razer chose the absolute worst kind of rubber to attract earwax and then make it difficult to come off.Overall, they sound decent enough, but really they should have more base, more isolation, and better quality materials considering the usage. For me, it was an easy decision to return.

I've been using these earbuds for about three months. The main reason for this purchase was for use in the gym. I like the long cord since I usually keep my ipod in my pocket. The noise canceling works great to drown out the loud equipment and terrible gym music. They fit very well in my ear and don't fall out after they get wet with sweat. The noise created from bumming the cord, as others have mentioned, is a bit annoying when you are first getting used to it, but becomes less noticeable over time. It takes a while to get used to the fit and feel though. Very similar to plugging your ears. Therefore, I suggest not buying these if you intend to sing-a-long with the music. My only other con would be the grip on the cord. It has very good grip making it easy to catch an edge and get pulled.

This a standard Y headphones with no extension. The cord is long for everything you need it for, but the wiring is covered with a rubbery material which makes it get caught on everything. The sound quality is good, and the adapters are nice, but unless you need the adapters I would suggest getting another pair of headphones just because the rubbery material is really annoying. I had some old Sony headphones which I lost. It was also a standard Y configuration but it had the long part have a break so If you yanked it, it would unplug at the break and not yank your device or the buds from your ears. I prefer the around the neck configuration over the Y config, but they are had to find as buds. This one is built sturdy, and the mic is good. The jack end is straight, where I would have preferred a right angle plug.

These are near perfect in my opinion. While I prefer the sound from the cheaper V-moda Bass-freqs, the bass-freqs are extremely loud, you have to be careful when plugging it in to your mp3 or computer to make sure the volume is very low, or you will get blasted and possibly hurt your hearing. The razer morrays dont have that problem, the volume is just where it should be. Best thing is, when I work out or run on the treadmill, these do not slip out of your years no matter how sweaty you get, unlike some other brands that just slip out when you get sweaty. Another thing I love is the cord - its a very tough rubbery substance that so far has lasted me 1 1/2 years and no problems whatsoever! Also the cord is 3 inches longer than the v-modas, but not as long as the bose. I also love the sound-isolation of these compared to the bose, you can hear too much background noise with the bose. With these, if someone is talking to you, you have to take them out of your ears to hear them, I love that. So sound quality wise, I give it... 3.5 out of 5, but the overall build quality raises these babies up to a 5 in my opinion. 1 1/2 years and still going strong!

I owned two sets of Razer ear buds similar to these before, those were definitely a lot better when it came to sound quality, but this is not bad.These are just like typical in ear earbuds, I guess my review is based on the previous ones I owned.They are effective in cancelling noise, and I would say music playback is a 7.5/10.I bought these since I feel like I can never go wrong with Razer products, which I haven't since the previous earbuds I owned lasted my harsh treatment for 3+ years.

I have had 2 of these headphones they are everything i wanted but both broke on me within 2 months, i treated them good they just break very easily i have used ear-buds that lasted years. These things just keep breaking my first set the wire had to be adjusted for me to hear sound properly the second set the sound stopped working completely. Decide for yourself though.

The best headphones ive ever used. im not a huge earbud nerd but i know they do what i need them for. great sound and dont fall out of my ears EVER. id recommend these to anyone who wants good sound and no movement in ear while working out/running.

Really, really great pair of earbuds. I love them. Pretty incredible sound quality. Bass is not overpowering, and the highs are clear, clean, and crisp.But I'm on my third pair in the span of 2 years. The right bud just keeps blowing out somehow. And it happened on both of them. I don't hang them, I don't whip them around, and yet it happened twice. I just can't fathom how other than poor build quality. Let's just hope this doesn't happen to my new pair...

My husband had a pair of these he let me borrow and I liked them so much he got me my own pair for our anniversary. They work almost too well, you really cannot hear much with them in, even if music is off! They are very comfortable (I use the smallest size rubber adapter since I have tiny ears, but they come with 3 sizes total to fit everyone). They ear phones themselves are of great quality and music quality is as well. They aren't super super cheap, but they are truly worth it (and still much less than some competitors). The only complaint I even have is the serial number tag seems doomed to rub off, so I had to cut it off to preserve the numbers. I work out with them 3 times a week and they have never popped out on their own like my other ear buds did.

Had these for over a year now. Went threw the washer a few times. Mowed the lawn listening to these, can't hear the mower :)PROS:Very comfortable!Amazing sound!Durable!Works with iPhoneForget the world around you!Sweet case with stickers and extra buds for different ear types.CONS:PriceyYou can hear your own breathing, scratching your head, etc. Just turn up the music!Overall:I LOVE THESE! I would have never of had spent 50 some dollars on ear buds but Razer makes good products in my opinion. I got these for my 19th birthday and plugged them in to my iPhone, I was like "whoa". Mowed the lawn, You can't even hear the mower! Maybe that's why I burnt the clutch :/. So if you have a nagging girlfriend/boyfriend, mom, dad, or just want to forget the world, these ear buds are for you! Way better than Skull Candies, recently returned Skull Candies 50/50 mic3d because they could NOT compare to these. I returned them to get the Razer Morays PLUS.Highly Recommend these! I love them dearly, Went threw the washer and dryer, still kicking loud!

I bought the special Penny Arcade Expo set of these (same phones, but w/ a PAX logo on it) last year @ PAX, and I like them alot. From the soft feel of the rubber, to the nice foam carrying case, to the different adapters, it all seemed solid and good quality.The Good:#Great Sound Isolation : I spend a lot of time in a datacenter w/ very loud fan noise in the background. W/ these phones in, it nearly completely blocked the noise. My ears thanked me.#Great Sound & Bass : very good range of sound for music. Techno to classical, good sound!#Varied adapters & carrying case : i like to play games on my laptop that utilize voice communication (Team fortress 2, etc) and being able to plug in the adapter to my laptop and use both the mic and headphones on the go is very nice!#Replacable ear pieces : this is normal nowadays, but it's nice that there is an option for people w/ different sounding earsThe Bad:I have small ear canals, evidently, because even the smallest replaceable ear foams were too big for use beyond about an hour. My ears start to hurt from the pressure.The Ugly:No button to press for iphone functionality. Even w/out volume, just having a button would have gone a long way to making these truly irreplacable. pausing, skipping, voice dialing...all these would be available hands free. Fix this in a future version and i will buy these 'phones again!

Excellent sound quality. Even the carrying case is a nice touch. Wish the cord was braided nylon like many other Razer products. The line tends to tangle even in the case. Overall a very nice product.

These are simply the best earphones I have ever owned...I previously owned Sony, Bose, and Seinheisser headphones... but these are the best, especially when you consider the price!It just cuts me out from the rest of the world, very long cable. Everything just as the product description said...Great bass for such small earphones...Would buy again...

Great sound! LOUD. I had to turn my PC's volume down to 17 for normal sound. They isolate sound better than expected, look great, and come with a carrying case to hold the extra attachments.

Mediocre sound, for the price. What you are paying for is the glitz, the fancy packaging, the neoprene case and the connectors for various handheld consoles you may or may not care about. I read with wide-eyed disbelief at the reviews saying this has great sound and bass. You won't get no decent sound staging or details. The wires kink easily too, so they aren't braided or reinforced underneath the rubber. Yet another disappointing Razer purchase of mine.

The head phones are very well made and the sound quality is amazing....and it drowns out almost all outside noise. I use mine at work and now i get paper thrown at me very often to get my attention. My only dislike about these is that the split to the left and right ear pieces is kinda low along the cord, this could have been shorter in my opinion, since when you want to use one side only the other ear piece dangles a lot. I would not recommend these for jogging not because they dont stay in your ears but because you might probably get hit by a car if you're not paying attention.

You're not going to get super high end audio out of the headphones or mic with this set.However, it is WELL worth the price for what you get. It comes with a nice carrying case for all the components, and if you primarily game on your laptop like I do, the Moray is absolutely perfect. Maybe I'm less picky than most, but I was actually surprised at how good these guys did with music as well.Highly recommended!

These are the best earbuds that I have ever used, and are the most comfortable. I threw away the ones that came with my IPod. Also, the noise cancellation ability is amazing. It took me a few minutes to get used to the "sensation" of the noise isolation. Excellent purchase.

Great sounds for earbuds. Ease of fitting with 3 sizeable ear inserts. Ive already been a big Razer Fan with lachesis lycosa pirahna and now the moray earbuds and I have yet to be let down.
