Feels a bit light weight.. Takes longer time to cook.. Dissapointed..
Somehow I feel, it is not very sturdy, and it is light weight, considering that it is from Philips. I expected it to be more strong and heavy. Because of that, I still have little doubt if it is an original Philips product. Pity that there is no way to verify if is original..
Edit 1 ## After using it for 3 weeks, I can say that it is not a quality product. I had previously used a low cost induction stove and that used to boil water (>100° C) within 1-2 minutes. However, this Philips induction stove needs more than 10 minutes to boil the same amount of water, even though I keep the temperature / power at maximum. So, I am quite dissapointed with this product.

Recommendable, worth buying go for it.
I've ordered this on 6th oct 17, and now its been 1 and a half year (01.05.2019) after use, i hvnt faced any problem regarding this product, running very well, hope it will work properly in the upcoming days. That's why 5 stars also cord length could have been longer .

Good looking and easy to use product
This induction cooktop is a good looking product and also easy to use. When I received this product it had few minor scratches but that's ok, not too big to complain. It works well with all proper induction cookware from any brand. It's a bit costlier than budget cooktops but value for money.
One main point to note is that it's quite loud when operating (fan noise).
Writing this review after exact one month usage. Will update the review after few more weeks or months of usage.

It’s value for money product
I am writing this review after using this more than 5 months. it’s really very good product. Customer support also checked when product damaged due to voltage surge. Earlier almost every months need one lpg cylinder for our use but after purchasing this v r saving lpg gas & electricity bills are also normal. I agree with the initial cost of ownership for the cook top & cook ware is bit high.

Excellent Product By Phillips
am using for my daily cooking. It has never given me any problem. Though during the first use, I had used the wrong utensil and the induction refused to work :). I thought the product has some fault and was worried but when used with an induction compatible utensil it worked like a gem.
The best part is that even after milk or oil spillage there is no issue. It also comes with preset menus. It heats fast for cooking, it is user-friendly and can be cleaned easily.
I am sure it can serve individual or couple needs very well. Thumbs Up!

Waste product after using 1year 8 months approx
The product is just 1 year 8 months , i buy it Rs-2399/ where price was 3999 so i thought it is best. The build quality is good but the induction fan is the real issue. for that reason it always show E7 or error. i fix it 2 times and today the product is stop working after a small blast. For me it is not possible every time to go and wait service center. so before you buy it make sure don't expect too much. Better buy any induction in 1500-2k & use it. If it have problem you will not regret it.
now this induction having a problem. the services are very poor too, if you find a service center they will not pick up or drop facility. you need to take leave from office and then have to pick it or drop it by yourself.
So think before you buy it.

Good one.
I earlier owned 2 prestige induction cook top wth touch panel. They didn't last long.
After several research I decided to go for this product. There re 2 variations in this model. One wth push button as the other with touch. From my research I found that push button is always best and last longer than touch button. It's been 2months since I started using it. I use it on daily basis. So after 60days of use, am extremely satisfied with this induction cook top.
One thing I learnt is, don't let water go inside the parts of the induction, then it will last longer.

Perfect in every sense.
Bought it after too many research. Couldn't have been any better.
Maybe looks like bit costlier but belive me it's worth every penny.
Totally recommend to each and every one.

The product stoped working after one month of usage
I have bought Philips induction cooktop considerable the trust in the brand. But it stopped working after a month. Now I have registered a complaint and they were asking me to get the item to the service centre which is 20km away from my home. If I could travel in the middle of the pandemic, I would have bought this offline itself. Philips is not providing the home service. And there is no return option in Amazon now.

Best buy.
Used this for more than a month for all the cooking needs for a family size 4. It is easy to use and control. A few people have complained about bursting of the device. However I don't see the reason why this can happen. Only breakable part is the glass plate. This can break only if you place incompatible utensil which traps vapour between the utensil and glass plate. This is not the problem of device. So I rate it 5 star.

Warranty Issues
The product is good and works fine. The one I ordered worked without any issues until last month—It started making a crackling noise while cooking and then stopped suddenly. There was a burning smell in the air. I understand, appliances can get damaged after use.
My complaint however is against Amazon. The product was in warranty when it stopped working. In fact, it was the last month. I tried contacting Amazon but in vain. Tried the call back feature a million times but to no response. Couldn’t find a way to get to the seller “Cloudtail India” at all. There were no warranty options available. The entire country was in lockdown and I understand they must have been running low on staff but not once did they call back. The bottom line is that the product is lying with me, stashed away with warranty exhausted and damaged. Disappointed with “Cloudtail India.” Still couldn’t find an option to review the seller.

Philips Viva Collection Induction cooktop
Worst service and product. Purchased it on 17th aug and its not even 2 month cooktop stopped working. As it has crossed amazon return period i was asked to talk to Phillips customer care, i did and got the worst response possible. They are saying as your address is in upcountry we can't send our service agent there. They asked to bring it to service center which is 80km from my home. Its in warranty and they should provide home service. Worst experience ever. What kind of product they are making that can't last even a few month. Should have gone for some other brand.

cannot cook dry items..BEWARE
Very disappointed with philips item.Unlike the name of company. Reason being..I purchased a HD 4928/01 induction cooker.After using it for 2 months ,now I have come to know that this item cannot cook dry vegetables,popcorn etc as I gave it to customer service center and after 4 days came to know that this costly item cannot do dry item cooking.Unlike other brands viz prestige bajaj which do the same thing in half the price. I appreciate that this non availability of capability might make the company loose market view poor cost benefit analysis.Very sorry about the performance of PHILIPS induction cooker.Really a let down.No one should buy it..

Good value, boiling is ok, deep fry isn't ok
I've been using it for a month. Everything works well, n it's easy to use.
However, I dunno if the power cable supports output up to 2100 W or not, I just don't feel significant difference increasing the temperature from 160deg (1000W) to 240deg (2100W).
If cable can only support up to 5A, then no matter I ramp up the temperature, max output watt hence temperature will be bound to 1100W (~160deg). I have doubt with this power cable, n I haven't really checked or asked customer service.
Whether my doubt about cable output is true or not, the fact is that this stove can't provide high enough temperature for deep fry. It takes about 10 minutes (plus 5 minutes for heating the cooking oil) to deep fry my frozen food (hash brown potato, etc.). It only takes 5 minutes for the gas stove (medium heat) to deep fry my frozen food.
So, 15 minutes (this stove) vs 5 minutes (gas stove), better go with gas stove for deep fry.
Boiling is acceptable though, it takes lesser time than gas stove.

Doesn't work. We're very disappointed.
Our previous Philips induction cooker worked for five years, so when it died in December we decided to replace it with another one by Philips. This new one doesn't work. We're extremely disappointed.

Fortunately, our local Philips service centre repaired it under warranty, so it works now.

Faulty item delivered
I had purchased an induction cook top through this online shopping gateway on 06.08.2020. The product was delivered on 08.08.2020 night. I have installed the same on today (i.e. 09.08.2020) morning and after installing the device when I have started operating it an "E7" error just started to popup. For that reason I have become bound to communicate with the product manufacturing organization to follow the further proceedings. This unwelcome and shocking incidence has made my trust shattered over the entrusted brand like Amazon. I hope the authority will try to do the needful as soon as possible to resolve the issue.

Overall it's a very good product,easy to use,easy to clean, but quite similar features as in others. One looking for branded product , should definitely go for it.

JUST PURCHASED PHILIPS INDUCTION TURNING OFF EVERY 2 MINS.
I bought this stove a couple of weeks back, but did not test it until today. Never thought Philip's selling refurbished item. It is 22nd July 7.42 PM and as you can see my stove still has the plastic wrap in front. It keeps turning off every 3 mins saying E7. Now I don't know what to do with it. This is ridiculous. Should have opted for Prestige instead of Philips.
It is now over 2 weeks, Philips customer care did not replace it, a technician came and repaired the fan, it was okay in front of him or I missed the sound then, the next day the fan is making a sound. It is common with Philip's induction as I see a lot of people putting out videos with the same problem I have with the fan. I don't know what to do with it. Amazon should not allow any refurbished item to be sold as new.

Works perfectly, consumes very less time
First of all thanks to Cloudtail for sending me a brand new one, This is second purchase, because my dog destroyed the first.
I hate cooking but this just saves a lot of time and hassle of refill unlike lpg, works perfect and is very safe to use, the glass top is cool to touch n it's very convenient to move around

Beware, Not Recommended
In my first use, error E7 appeared that means cooling fan is not working. After that i went through various other reviews of users and i came to know this is happening frequently with this device. I made complaint to Philips customer service and they promised to resolve in 24 hours. But it got repaired by 4 days after various follow ups.

I've had several inductions in the past. Pigeon, Igo (don't ask why), prestige. Genuinely I think prestige is good. But other two brands didn't work well for long periods of time. The Phillips one was a person choice and it's pretty to look at. (The induction in the pic is a little dirty on account of me not cleaning it. Lol)

Very Pathetic Customer Service think twice before you buy
the product is good but you if there is any issue with it then you have to follow them like for 10 days just to come and see the product. All customer services are given to 3rd party and they have very good excuses to not attend to your call, am following them from past week but yet they are unable to send a technician at my place.

Not a good choice
I have purchased this product in June 2020. From that time, it stopped working two times. Thanks god that it was under warranty and they have replaced some internal PCB/electronic sockets. But you can't say that it will long last. But no doubt customer support is very good. On a single call, my complained was registered and serviced within the given time frame.
But again, the thing is why it is not so durable. I am not happy with this purchase.
