This was given as a gift to my daughter and her husband who are expecting their first baby! It was WELL RECEIVED and they are looking forward to using it. As for now I can't comment on much else.

We bought this camera to video our dance lessons. It has worked well and the picture quality is very nice. We like the lightweight compact size. I can put the camera and tripod in a tote bag.

For the price, this camera is loaded with features. It seems to do a pretty good job with image stabilization and focus.

Great camcorder! Captures exactly what we were looking for in the price range. Good lightening no matter what the environment. Love the LED light!

I bought it in Nov 2010.I paid HDC-SD60 for $339 which is the cheapest in HD video camera with decent quality. I like the wide angle lens and electronic stability control. This video camera makes very good quality video even in very low light. The camera is very small and light weight. I recommend this camera for its good quality.

Reviewed many different Camcorders and found this to be an excellent choice. Lightweight, easy to use, battery life good, and well designed.

I've had this for a week and I'm very impressed. The video quality is outstanding. The pictures from the camera are good, but not as good as my everyday camera. I bought a 16 GB memory card and it can hold about two hours of video. The software is acceptable, and it is very easy to download onto my computer. The battery life is about two hours, which is fine for me. This camera is very easy to use. I bought this for about $400 on Amazon and I think I got a great deal. My only complaint is that it did not include a mini-HDMI cable. It includes a component cable, which shows fine HD, but HDMI is so much easier to use. So I bought a mini-HDMI cale on Amazon for 99 cents(plus shipping) and it works great. Overall, I am very happy with this camera.

Simple to use and great pictures. Neat little package and under the surface tons of features. Also got the DVD burner which works ok but the camera does download to my PC. I also dub it over to my DVD recorder. Gorgeous HI DEF pictures and a camera and a light. Just an awesome camera. Goodbye to my Sony :o)

I purchased this camcorder during the thanksgiving sale from panasonic.com for $265 (it was selling for $299 on amazon the same day). I did extensive research for 3 months and ultimatly decided this one gives the best bang for the buck. Amazaing video quality, excellent low light video. I am extremely pleased with the purchase.

I got this camcorder on Amazon for just $329! What a bargain! The quality is amazing and its very easy to use. Would definately recommend!

Panasonic has delivered an excellent HD camcorder at a reasonable price point. Reliable product at a great price that uses common SD media.

This is a great camcorder I've been using for almost 2 months. I took it to my summer vacation. I made nice footage, good-looking photos. Even though you have to get the right lighting and other things to shoot a pro-looking picture, it's always nice to have a second digital camera at hand, considering the fact it's very convenient. Video quality is great, everything else has been said in the previous reviews. And the price is awesome, this is such a bargain. You get almost twice what you pay for. Would recommend it to everyone!

WHile not a professional camera and I don't know how well it will do in low light, I am very impressed to date. I took it to a marching band day/football game that lasted well past sundown. It worked great I'll post more later when I've had more time with it. For now, buy it with a 32 GB memory card (about $50) and it will hold lots of memories for you.

This is an awesome camcorder. Takes really nice quality video and is easy to use. However do yourself a favor and buy a good quality memory card, at least 6x. if you have an old card or fake one you will have problems.

Shopped till I dropped and could not find cheaper. This Unit is amazing! Easy to use. A must for the HD users.

I purchased the HDC-SD60S from Amazon and an not at all disappointed.The video records at 1080i but can playback at 1080P quality. The zoomextended to 35X is remarkable, it keeps the clarity and sharpness intact.There are probably camcorders in this price range that record at 24 MBPSversus the 17MBPS this records at, and the colors are deeper and richer.However they don't show colors as real like to the naked eye as this does. The software is very acceptable,you can title, divide, and organizevideos very easily. I have Windows 7 which has its own video software andthe Panasonic software is just as user friendly. The Image Stabilization and Optical Zoom are excellent on thiscamcorder, and that was what I was most looking for.

I can't say much about the camera yet since I haven't used it much yet, but the seller provided me a good product at a great price and the delivery was really fast.

This camera is extremely affordable and works great. The video quality is of the highest and it's easy to use! Sound is picked up very well also. Nothing has stopped working or shown any negative signs. The item was delivered in great condition and on time.

This camcorder is great! Easy to use and picture quality is excellent. So many features when compared to pricer models I have tried. Still photos could be better but are acceptable. I still need to get used to the smaller size- my old camera was twice this big.

I compared more than 10 camcoders for entry level, it is excellent for outdoor using, but in the dark you will need flash. Just choice cheap led flash, you will see the performance will be better

Panasonic has packed a lot of useful features into this lightweight package. The controls are pretty intuitive but read the manual first to make use of some features that are not so apparent.Quality of the videos is very good, the zoom is ridiculous (!) and stills taken out of video action scenes are also very good. I ended up using this camera for video and snap shots on my recent vacation and was very pleased with the results.For well under $500 this Hi Def video camera is tough to beat
