I've been using this headset for a while now and I'm very impressed with its performance. It was easy to install and I've had no issues with it being hooked up to 2 phones. It was just what I needed!The sound is good, I don't think there are any bluetooth headsets that have excellent sound quality, this ones is decent. The battery life is long and even when it gives the low battery indication it lasts a fairly long time before it goes off and the interval between beeps alerts is fairly spaced out so it's less annoying.I also like the fact that this device is small and very light. Sometimes I even forget its in my ear! I don't use the hook because the rubber earpads are very well made and super comfortable. They hold the device well in place and there are different sized earpads in the pack to suit your ear size.Oh, something else which helps a lot...it charges very fast! This is a bonus so you don't have to spend too much time without its use.All in all, a great product from Nokia. I would highly recommend this device for anyone who uses two phones. I'm so pleased with it I'm going to buy another one!

I lost the cable. and is impossible to get it. Neither from Nokia or any of their care centers.\So an expensive headset is useless not. I wonder how long this company will survive if basic support is not there.Ok is a simple cable but make it at least standard so it will be available to the market.So do no buy it.

Great idea but the bluetooth kept cutting out. I had to re--set the headphones in order to make them work and then they only worked for a few minutes.Returned the item

While I am satisfied with the noise cancelling and sound quality I am dissappointed to spend so much money to have plastic clips break off. I bought these headsets two years ago (2010) and the first clip broke maybe a month after I bought it. Although I was quite devastated....I figured I'd live with it and not send it back - so i got some stylish red tape and wrapped it up. True, early on it was difficulty to pair with the iphone4 but that problem was solved about a year later when apple updated their software. Now... about a week ago, the left clip broke. I figured that by now they would have spare parts available...just got off the phone with NOKIA and no. they do not provide spare parts. What was their suggestion? They told me to buy a new headset. LMFAO. well.. I told them I'll just tape it up like i did the right side. Hmmmmm buy another $300 headset for a 1 cent clip. Does not make much sense to me. Oh well. Just finally giving my review - sorry for the delay.

One thing you have to credit Nokia Engineers is their excellent sense for industrial design! The Nokia J design is par excellence. But at the same time a huge let down in terms of actual usability.Advantages:-- Fantastic sleek design-- Super easy pairing. Slide it out of its holder and the Nokia J connects instantly to the phone (in my case a Galaxy S2 Slide it back in and it disconnects)-- Light Weight. Won't feel a thing even if you talk for a long time (My continuous usage is ~2 hours)-- Called Person's voice is clearly heard even in noisy environments (especially thanks to the In Ear design)Disadvantages:-- Terrible Noise Cancellation. Easily picks surrounding environmental Noise, Ceiling Fan noise!!!, etc.-- Makes your voice extremely loud and distorted. Combine that with ambient noise being picked up, the called person has to really strain to understand you! Experimented with the BH 803 and compared it to Nokia J (BH-806) - the BH-803 gives a quieter experience!)-- Slightly worried about the holder (which is required for charging) - Now I have to keep track of 2 things instead of one!-- Need to fumble a bit with the button. The button supports both touch and press - so need to memorize what happens with single touch/double touch/press/long press. Not too intuitive.Overall, if you will be using it in noisy environments steer clear from the Nokia J! (Personal recommendation: Jawbone Era). But works pretty will in quiet environs like inside a car or conf rooms.

I've had my J for only a day now and am happy to report: I LOVE IT. It is so small and light I've not seen anything to even compare it to. The audio quality (mic & speaker) are incredible and auto adjusting. I've already placed calls: in a crowded room, outdoors in the wind and while driving. In all three cases I could hear great and the people I was talking to were "oh really, you are on a headset now...I could not tell." ... Perfect.The cool factor on this stainless steel little gem is tops. It's made like a piece of jewelry instead of the typical snapped together plastic crap offered by others.I had some misgivings about the pocket clip thing...but...(a) it's not required to use...you could leave it attached to the charger, (b) it holds the J in with a magnet so it's secure, (c) it is actually convenient to clip on your shirt holding your J when not in use. So...now I see why they decided to go this way.Overall - Great Job Nokia.

Ok, I absolutely HATE long-winded reviews on Amazon... so here is my brief but substantial (I hope) review of the Nokia BH-905iFirst the good:Great sound- Not quite to Bose standards, but pretty darn good for a mainly mobile phone manufacture.Decent noise canceling tech- Not as good as my QC-15's but that is expected, they are on-the-ear, not over. But I live in NYC, so complete isolation on the streets is never a good idea. In other words, for urban environments, they provide the right amount of cancellation. I have not tried them on a plane yet.Good range- I have them paired with my iPad and can go pretty much anywhere in my apartment without the music cutting out, even in other rooms with the door closed.Very flexible- I like the fact that you can use the bluetooth, noise canceling and speakers simultaneously, separate, or any combination of all three. So, if you are completely out of juice you can still listen to music, assuming you have the headphone cord. That is a nice feature that I have not seen on any other noise canceling headphones.Good looking- Greatly improved ascetics over the previous model (BH-905). You do not look like an astronaut walking around the streets. They are prob the best looking headphones that I have ever owned.Controls- Its really nice to be able to control you music from the headphones themselves. As I said, I have them paired to my iPad, and I can pause, skip ahead and launch the ipod from just the headphones, its a nice convenience.Ok and now the bad:Uncomfortable for long use- Perhaps this is a symptom of all on-the-ear headphones, but after a few hours they make the outside of my ears sore.Volume level- It could be just a little bit louder on maximum...Noise cancellation could use some tweaking- It took me a few days to get used to them, I was getting a sea-sick kind of feeling when first turning them on, that went away after a few days though. However, the canceling seems to be more effective on the right side, not sure why. It could just be me.OK so that's it. Overall I defiantly recommend these, not have the wires and noise canceling all in one headphone is great. I am completely happy with this purchase.

I'm sure it would be great if the phone I had was worth a damn. I wouldn't recommend Nokia for anything. Their customer service is absolutely horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i've been using these for 7 months now. the sound quality is decent but nothing jaw dropping. the volume on these is pretty weak when using bluetooth, i haven't even used the wired option. it could be that my hearing is slightly degraded, but i can get more sound from the stock earbuds that came with my device. the noise cancelling feature is awesome, it really does work well. the foam around the ear pieces is already falling off though. i'll have to give nokia a call to see if they'll fix them. i would not buy these again, nor would i reccommend them to anyone.

Don't have a lot to add beyond other good reviews, BUT,I've had these for a year now and being in college I've had many friends make me listen to headphones they researched and bought, and I'd EASILY say that if you love your bass deep (melodies play really well too) and don't like messing with wires for connecting your smartphones, laptops etc. , then you should definitely purchase these headphones.Stylish, Great battery life, connects easily, awesome sound quality and value for money.Note: One thing that people might not be doing with their headphones:to get the full bass experience do remember to engage the bass boost and stereo widening modes when using these (3 beeps), usually makes the sound/bass better/deeper.

Comes with various sized earpieces, none of which fit properly and over the ear plastic pieces broke easily. Sound quality is good but unfortunately there was no way I could keep this headset in my ear. Seriously disappointed.

Be careful it is easy to damage the pads, Nokia does not have replacements. Your only hope is if the unit is still under warranty.

I had lost a same Bluetooth some time back so I ordered one more from here. Earlier it costed me more when I bought from the outside market. Here for the price I even got a charger.I use this with my iPhone and it connects smoothly, fits well into my ear and I will suggest this for the Sikhs who wear turban. Because we cannot use the clip so I remove the clip and just use it with the earpiece. The earpiece is extended so it doesnt slip out of my ear and fits in well.Battery - Runs for a day easilyConnectivity - Smootheasy one button operations.Negative - no USB charger, well it is not a deterrent but would have been good to have so that everything could be connected to just my laptop :)

In the last 4 years, I have gone through 5 headsets - the first one got accidentally washed and the next 3 were disasters (so I was only too glad they got lost). The 5th one is the BH-607 that I bought and I have been super-impressed by it.Here's why:* I have used it as far as 8 feet away without loss of reception or voice quality (including when I was speaking)* It has an auto-shut off if it gets disconnected from the phone so it conserves battery life* The product page claims 160 hours of standby time - I have gone up to 96 hours* It charges very quickly (haven't verified the claim of 5 hours of talk time with 15 minutes of charging, but it's likely to be correct)* Last but not the least, I continue to use a Nokia phone and it's just great to have one charger for the phone and the headsetI would definitely recommend this headset.

The Nokia J is a sleek looking device that functions well. I like that it is small and light weight. Its silver metal body adds a secure feel so that I am not afraid of breaking it. I have never had the battery run out despite the fact that I use it for lengthy periods of time.The Nokia J comes with a sleeve that acts as a holder and facilitates charging. The sleeve clips onto your shirt pocket for easy access. Once in the sleeve the bluetooth goes to sleep conserving the battery. It automatically pairs with your phone when you remove it from its sleeve. This is handy for conserving battery life but I worry I will lose the sleeve and be unable to charge the device.The Nokia J talks to you and alerts you to connections and calls ended. The talking is at times annoying but there is a method to disable the cahtter.I recommend this device because of its cool factor.

I was excited by the fact that I would finally be able to use one Bluetooth with my personal and work cellphones but the excitement ended when I found that no matter which ear bud I used it would not stay securely in my ear while I was driving. I consider my ears to be of normal size but you wouldn't know it with this product. Not only would it not stay in my ear but if I used the earbud with the loop on one side it was almost impossible to get it into my ear while I was driving. I gave the unit 2 stars because it did work as advertised but that was only during the time it actually stayed in my ear. A redesign is necessary. Aesthetically it is a beautiful piece of equipment but an over the ear attachment is necessary so it would be held in place more securely.

Overall I was satisfied with the nokia j. it is very stylist and well built. it allowed me to connect to two devices. it was simple to operate. although none of the ear pieces produced a great fit in my ear, either it was too big or too small.*** here is were buyers must beware: the only way to charge the nokia j is with a case. in my situation the case fell out my shirt pocket and was run over by a car, my fault. however, when i contact the company from what i know now so far there is no way to purchase a replacement case!!! i have a $100 nokia j that i cannot use because of a $10 case ***

I'm a bit of a headphone addict. I have Sony MDR-900's, Bose QC2's, Bose Triports, Sennheiser HD-238's, Monster Dre Beats, Bose Earbuds, and Denon AH-D2000's. I have rather discriminating hearing, and perhaps my preferences are non-mainstream, because since I've owned the Denons, the Monster Beats and Bose QC's are an overpriced joke. Live and learn.Having grown sick of dealing with cords and wires, I investigated bluetooth headphones for a month or so. The Nokia BH-905i's kept popping up in my searches, and the reviews were impressive. I've had mine for a month or so, and I am not disappointed with the $200 I invested, particularly since I finally paired the Nokias with my BlackBerry Curve. This is an excellent product.The sound quality of the Nokia BH-905i's is outstanding. While it lacks the crisp highs and ultra-realistic mid-range of my Denons, it's apples to oranges - you can't really compare a small set of bluetooth headphones to full size audiophile cans. For their size, light weight and portability, however, I continue to be impressed and delighted with the Nokias, particularly the bass boost and stereo-widening features. They are very comfortable. The additional features: skip to next/last song, fast forward, pause, make these fun to use every time. The noise canceling is top quality and creates a comfortable isolation. The carrying case, adapters and pouch are also sweet.I highly recommend the Nokia BH-905i headphones to anyone who wants excellent sound quality, isolating noise cancelation, quick bluetooth paring and best of all, no cords.

I like some of the other Nokia bluetooth earpieces in the past and thought this one looked cool. It is a slick looking and feeling piece. My problem is the plastic part that fits in your ear is very slick and does not stay in my ear. It spins to the bottom and eventually falls out.
