Perfect phone for my mom
My mom does not like smartphones, she find them too complicated, so I got her this phone and she's very pleased with it. It works almost like our home phone with sinple features that she understands. It is also just the right size for her purse. Many thanks.

Works in Canada with Virgin Mobile
It works as you would expect and is functional in western Canada with virgin/bell network.
Charger in the box does not work!!!
Also, the screen looked it was wiped to clean finger marks, so it is probably not a brand new device.

Simple, dumb phone with some smart features that are to clunky to be bothered with. Perfect for minimizing smart phone usage and detoxing from social media.

It’ll do if you want your teen not to have a smart phone
It’s adequate but not great. It’s lightweight, it’s sturdy enough. Overall it works fine, but there are a couple key problems.
The first one is that it does not always receive incoming calls or texts. We’re in a great coverage area but it will go straight to voicemail occasionally, or texts come through delayed, which makes it difficult to reach my son. But he never has a problem with outgoing calls, so at least he can reach me.
The other problem is it has a bad feedback problem. I can hear myself echoing when I call him. He doesn’t use the phone for anything, but if you have someone that wants to use it to chat a lot it is not good for that. I sent it back as defective and got a new one, that one didn’t do it as much, but it went through the washing machine so we got another new one, and this one does it also. Since he doesn’t use it for more than just calling me when he needs to be picked up, it doesn’t bother me.
I like that it has no access to data and it does work with Tello. Actually, it does have a little access to data but it is so cumbersome and slow that he won’t even try to use it.
I do recommended if you want a no data, cheap phone for a teen. I do not recommend it if you plan to spend a lot of times talking on it, or if you need incredible reliability on someone receiving incoming calls.

Not like the Nokia of old
I was looking to get a simple cellphone for my daughter so she can receive texts from us or call us if something comes up, withoutthe smartphone capabilities. I had older Nokia phones (before the age of smartphones) that were like little tanks with battery that lasted forever so I thought this would fit the bill. I was wrong.
Setting up the phone and connecting to the network was straight forward, but here's where the problems began.
1. The phone couldn't make or receive phone calls. I can't hear anything when making a call, nor did the other end ring. And the phone doesn't ring or give any indication of an incoming call, only that a call was missed afterwards. I confirmed the SIM works properly on another phone, so I guess this was a bad sample, not good as that's its main purpose as a phone.
2. The unlock sequence is weird. When the phone is locked, you need to press the unlock button then the * button to unlock the phone, which is fine, but then the phone always ends up as if the menu button was pressed, which is not what I want. I want to check text messages or make a phone call. Why can't I find a good dumb phone that I love?
I really wanted to love this phone, but it seems old 100% reliable dumb phones are a thing of the past... I have been using it as my only phone to cut down on distractions. This phone is ALMOST perfect.
THE GOOD:
- I Love that it has LTE Voice... works great on T-Mobile. Call quality is good, and I even filled it up with MP3s to listen to music while I work out.
- Speaker phone is loud enough. Especially considering the size of the phone.
- I love that it has Bluetooth, which works almost perfectly (more on that below). I connect to bluetooth headsets and my car.
- Keys are easy on the fingers, and got used to navigating it in a day.
- Browser usage is painful, but to me this is a plus, since my goal is to minimize distractions.
- Battery life is pretty good. I'm on calls throughout the day, connected to bluetooth, and have no problems with it lasting all day.
- Added 32 Gig SD card filled with MP3s (could not get 128GB card, seems like 32 is the max)
THE BAD:
- Text messages have the wrong time! I tried playing with the clock settings, but this is not the issue. Does not matter if you set the time or put it in "auto" the text messages that come in have the wrong time. You'll see other reviews mention this.
- It has frozen me a few times. When I say frozen, I mean completely frozen where holding the power button doesn't even power off the device. I am not getting this as often as other people on the reviews, but it does happen.
- I noticed that the bluetooth range kind-of sucks. If I am listening to music and put my phone farther than arm's length, sometimes the music breaks up.
THE UGLY:
- When I am on speaker people on the other side say I am cutting off. This does not happen when I am off speaker or using my bluetooth headset. Only happens on the speakerphone and it's really disappointing. When I am on a conference call, I have it on speaker until it's time for me to talk.
CONCLUSION:
I'll keep using this phone until I find something better. This has everything I want, just wish it was more polished.

Fine for the money - but if not supported by AT&T it will no longer work after February 2022
The phone is fine for the low price - you get the long battery life and long talk time - I regularly go a week between charges, with active usage for phone and text. The browser is basic - you can access google and some sites, but anything with a lot of scripting (banking sites, for example) won't work.
There are a few problems - particularly if you are an AT&T user or like to Text:
#1 - If you check AT&T's list of supported 4G phone, this phone is not listed. So while it may work for now - after February 2022 when AT&T shuts down its 3G network, it will no longer be able to connect to AT&T's 4G network. Only the 6300 is listed as compatible. If you are an AT&T Customer you should NOT get this phone as a result.
#2 - Even with an expansion SIM memory card plugged in, it only will use the VERY limited phone memory for text messages. So you're effectively limited to 8 MB of text messages - and any images texted to you have to be deleted immediately. This is the kind of problem that only becomes apparent after weeks of usage.
#3 - While your audio reception is fine when on speaker mode - the microphone has real problems. Anyone listening to you while on speaker will have a lot of problems making out what you are saying as its very low quality audio on the microphone in that mode. So if its important someone can hear you clearly, you need to switch to handset mode.
Also - a word of warning - the 225 does not support group/mms text messages properly. You can receive them, but can't reply all - only to the person who wrote the message. This is a common problem with feature phones, as far as I can tell - so if you are looking only at Feature Phones this shouldn't be a dealbreaker.
There are a few problems - particularly if you are an AT&T user or like to Text:

Ottimo, ma migliorabile
Per quello che è pensato il mestiere lo svolge a dovere, ma ci sono altre cose negative:
- non ha whatsapp (a me non serve, ma a qualcuno potrebbe fare comodo)
- è pieno zeppo di giochi inutili e a pagamento non disinstallabili
- la radio non può essere connessa alla cuffie bluetooth, va usata per forza con cuffie jack
- manca il blocco note
- il cronometro smette di funzionare se si esce dalla sua schermata
queste sono sciocchezze me ne rendo conto, infatti ho dato 4/5,però sono anche facilmente implementabili con un aggiornamento

Ottimo.
Un ottimo cellulare, anche per navigare senza troppe pretese. Non è uno smartphone quindi va bene per chi lo usa solo come cellulare e giusto per guardare qualche notizia su internet. Consigliato.

Questo è un cellulare perfetto per chi non ha esigenze particolari. La fotocamera è dell'epoca che fu e pur potendo collegarsi al web credo sarebbe difficile vederci bene.
A me serve solo per chiamate/SMS e sveglia (a cellulare spento), quindi va benissimo.
Forse poteva costare un po' meno, ma avendo il 4G...

Mia suocera voleva un telefono con i tasti economico. Nokia è Nokia c'è poco da dire. Sui vecchi Symbian mi sono consumato le dita. Fa il suo lavoro e lei è contenta.

Ho fatto felice mio padre
Mio padre è super felice di questo regalo. Finalmente ha un telefonino con i tasti ma che non è studiato per gli anziani malati. Non ha mai voluto uno smartphone ma con questo si trova davvero bene.

Buono ma non ottimo
Non avendo Android e il WiFi, ogni accesso a internet va fatto con i dati. Compreso app o sito gestione Sim che è indispensabile per monitorare stato delle spese, consumi, offerte etc. È quindi adeguato per utente con la sola necessità di fare chiamate ma da tenere da conto limite.

UN FEATURE PHONE BUONO
Dopo averne cambiati diversi, ho trovato il feature phone per me, amante dei vecchi telefoni Nokia.
Questo è quello che più ci si avvicina: niente wifi, niente Wapp e cose strane del genere.
Radio Fm, giochini, e la utilissima funzione chat sms, che trovo una innovazione interessante, purtroppo non presente in tutti i nuovi Nokia basic phones e non so perchè. Ovviamente NON KAIOS, sistema operativo da evitare come la peste.
Sono soddisfatto, amanti del vintage, compratelo con fiducia.

Helaas was mijn Nokia 6303c overleden en moest ik een andere kopen. Dit nieuwe model van Nokia is lichter door al het plastic. En de agenda heeft tekortkomingen. En nee smartphone is en was geen optie !

Wenn die Software nicht so unausgereift wäre...
Ich hätte es ja gerne behalten, denn ich würde mich gerne digital minimalisieren. Aber wenn der Lautlos-Modus komplett fehlt und man jedes Mal in den Haupteinstellungen den Ton ausmachen muss und dafür dann aber morgens eben weil der Ton aus ist, der Wecker nicht zu hören ist, dann frag ich mich schon, ob bei denen irgendwelche Hiwis die Software programmieren. Dazu ist es auch noch echt ätzend SMS zu tippen (und ich bin super schnell mit T9, aber hier hab ichs mit dem Smsn irgendwann aufgegeben). Das Display ist auch wirklich von vorgestern und obendrein hat es bescheuerte Spiele, die sich nicht deinstallieren lassen und die kein Mensch braucht. Tja. Da hilft auch die tolle LTE Sprachqualität wenig. Ich hab jetzt erst mal mein uraltes Nokia 6300 genommen, das hat wenigstens ein durchdachtes Betriebssystem, wenn auch die GSM Sprachquali für heutige Verhältnisse nicht mehr so toll ist.

Nicht begeistert
Wer sich nach alter Nokia-Qualität zurücksehnt, wird mit dem 225 nicht glücklich werden. Das Positive zuerst: Das Gerät liegt gut in der Hand, das Plastik wirkt hochwertig, das Design ist gelungen und Tastendruck/Tastatur läuft gut, die Tastatur auch für meine eher größeren Finger gut zu bedienen.
Aber: Die Menüführung ist lieblos und uninspiriert, Töne und Lautsprecher scheppern und die Kamera ist auch für niedrigste Ansprüche unbrauchbar. Rudimentärer Internet-Zugang ist eine gute Idee, aber warum nicht über W-Lan? Platz genug für eine Antenne wäre in dem nicht allzu winzigen Gehäuse.
Ehrlich: Ich verstehe es nicht, warum nicht den früheren Standard erreicht. Die 10 Jahre alten oder noch älteren Nokia-Geräte sind einwandfrei zu bedienen, haben bessere Bildschirme und 2-4 MP-Kameras, die für Schnappschüsse zu gebrauchen sind.
Ich habe es mir wegen der Dual-Sim-Funktion gekauft, die finde ich bei den Retro-Handies nicht. Aber ich musste das 225 trotzdem zurückschicken. Das Gerät mag als Ersatz- oder Zweit-Handy OK sein, es ist einen Tick besser als das Nokia 150, das auch nicht berühmt ist, aber mir genügt es als Haupt-Gerät nicht.
