I've had two iPhones and an HTC HD7 Windows Phone before this Nokia.The Phone is very well built and the quality of photographs is very good. The front camera works well with the Skype client (HD7 didn't have that).What makes the phone really standout are the free Nokia apps, especially the Nokia drive and the camera extras. Nokia drive works well and is attractive - its all you need for GPS in your car.The camera extras integrate with the Windows Phone camera software to give you all sorts of control and features - white balance, exposure value, ISO etc. There is also a "smart group shot" feature that takes multiple shots and then lets you choose the best facial expressions of people to include in a composite!This is a solid high quality piece of kit at an outstanding price (with contract).

I can say I was truely deceived. The phone was described as Factory Unlocked but I was shocked to discover that the phone is locked even as I write this review. I wrote to Amazon and they gave me back $25 for each of the phone for me to unlock it in my local. The issue is that I have not been able to do that.

*** EDIT *****Due to popular outcry I have decided to ammend my review. Just so that we understand each other: I LOVE MY PHONE! This is why I feel all the most ticked off at the way it was presented to me when I bought it. I have a wonderful phone that I can use only part of the time. There is nothing wrong with exclusive contracts and I am a firm believer in free enterprise. However I was deceived and the only way around that is to give me an unlock code.**** ORIGINAL POST *****One of the things I love the most about the English language is how precise it is. There is absolutely nothing equivocal about the phrase "No Commitment."When I pay this price, I expect to be able to do as I please with my phone.I spend a lot of time in the US, where I am a loyal AT&T customer for many years, and have no plans to stop being one. I also spend a lot of time overseas where I have no intention of paying roaming charges. I promptly called AT&T to request an unlock code for my "No Commitment" phone and they refused me based on an alleged exclusive contract with Nokia.This, however, is not explained before they sell you the phone.I hope you don't fall into the same trap. Thus I take the time an effort to write this review.I do not wish to get a refund. I parted with my money willingly and expect to reap the benefit of my purchase in the manner in which it was offered to me.

Anyone has doubt about Windows version of smart phone. I am telling you it is great operating system. Nokia does a good job. It's better than those Android phone in my experience. And, microsoft word doc is free. No problem. It's quick. Display screen is big enough to read ebook. I will buy another one again.

only reason i gave two star is because 1: its new 2: it works with my network (t-mobile) 3: it came on time. bad things are for the money i spent i thought it would be a new (not Refurbish) factory (From Nokia, not ATT). i know it's refurbish because of the box it in it. the box is a plain att box with no picture of the phone or imei/barcode on the box. also the plastic covering on the phone is has some bubbles that I can really notice.

Full disclosure: I did not buy this phone through Amazon. I am a long time AT&T customer and picked it up at one of their stores while the phone was essentially free with the Nokia rebate. Also, if you check you'll see this is not my first Amazon review, I've been a regular for quite a while. On to the phone...I upgraded to the Lumia 900 from an HTC Surround running Mango, primarily because the Nokia deal was just too good to pass up. In the deal I got nicer hardware, with the unibody construction, and a smoother experience with the upgraded processor. I've also noticed that reception is better, I'm getting an extra bar in my home office, and the battery lasts much longer. The display is stunning and more usable in sunlight, and of course it's larger so it's a bit easier to type on. There are far more apps than I know what to do with, and I especially like the Netflix and the Kindle apps. Although the screen is too small for extended movie streaming the quality is excellent and I was able to watch part of a movie on WiFi while enjoying a fast food burger. With the Kindle app I was able to download a library book through my Amazon account and again, while smaller than something like the Kindle Fire, the reading experience was still pleasant.This is a an excellent phone/movie streamer/Zune player/GPS/etc., etc., and I highly recommend it. How can you go wrong at this price?

Both my wife and I have an iPhone. Mine is for work and is a iPhone 4. The wife's is an iPhone 3GS.Since my wife is Finnish and has always been a Nokia lover, I was able to convince her to check out the Nokia Lumia 900. It wasn't too hard after she learned we would get a $100 credit on our bill due to the Nokia issue that they quickly resolved after launch. Way to go Nokia -- rather than try and blame everyone else, you fixed the problem immediately and gave your customers to make up for the negative experience! Cha-ching!OK, back to the phone.I took my wife to AT&T store today, after a few minutes, I think she totally digs the phone.Its responsiveIt has a nice size screenEverything is easy to readEveryhing she needs (calling, messaging, photos, etc.) are 1-2 clicks away. Not much of a learning curse.She gets to keep her current AT&T data plan, which is unlimited.She gets LTE network speedI think she loves the live-tiles and how photos and information changes and makes the phone come-to-live! Awesome!It's too early to say how long the battery lasts, etc., but based on other reviews, I think she is going to be extremely happy with this phone. Heck, as soon as I have to go buy my next personal phone, I may get me one, too!Keep up the fantastic work and customer service Nokia and Microsoft! WP7 is already way cooler and better than Android market fragmentation!

I bought the "Unlocked" Lumia 900, but when the product arrived it wasn't. I try to search for a un unlock code somwhere in the invoice or any paper that came with the Cellphone. Finally I had to buy a unlock code over the internet.

I keep ordering these batteries for an old cell phone until ready to spring for a new one. They arrived on time and so far they are holding a charge. They do not arrive in a bubble pack so the supplier either receives them that way or takes them out of the pack for easier shipping. Either reason is OK with me as long as they work. So far they work good.

It does what it suppose to. Nothing last forever, but I still like my Nokia 6220.I don't use any smartphone so this basic phone with decent camera is sufficient.This new battery just gave my mobile phone new life.If not, I was thinking I need to replace with an expensive smartphone. YIKEs!

Nice looking phone. Very limited set of apps and many of the Apps on iPhone or Android are not the same and lack features found on the other platforms. Skype (which microsoft owns) is terrible - not as good as my 3 year old 3gs.Plus, 3 months after release, Microsoft have told us it will not be updated in their October Windows Phone update. New Win8 apps will not run on the platform.If you purchase now, on a 2 year contract, your phone will be limited and out of date for 21 months of that contract.Think about it. I had my 3GS a year before Apple updated, and the new update worked fine on my 3GS. The next update - 2 years later - did slow it down, but Apple continues to support. I just don't trust Microsoft.I'm going to have to find a replacement. Don't get stuck.Updated 9/13: Camera Broke. No local store, so I emailed Nokia and filled in a form. They were then to send me the repair id and shipping details within 24 hours. 2 days later...I called the...4 days later, still waiting for a repair form so i can ship my phone back for repair and wait without a phone!Seriously, stick to Apple, a few hours at the genius bar and I'd have this working.

Just got my 808 three days ago..and recieved FP2 (latest update) update two days later. This phone is stunning. UI is very smooth. Very well built. This is an excellent handset...it's hard to believe Nokia is not developing Nokia/Symbian much more. I've used Android and Apple and they both are very good OSes with thier strengths and weaknesses, but this phone is it. I also been seriously considered the Lumia 920, but this one takes them all. Very powerful, smooth, and flexible. Name it, this phone can do it. Only minus is apps avaiability and the intergrated Facebook Client is weak. It excells in connectivity and media performance. I"m sure down the road I'll be using a Nokia/WP device....when I wear our my 808 Pureview. May get another one for then!Charles

I purchased it for my sister in low ,so can't say any think,how that device works as phone,but I have Nokia C7 and I believe it works perfect!But I tried camera and can say never ever I haven't seen any thing better !!!Sailer sent it as promised very quick !Great purchase!I deeply recommended !

Item arrived very original unopened packaging in demonstrating that a seller is reliable and that is a quality article. I am always happy to receive an item that has not been uncovered that shows that what I'm buying this brand new. I've had some cases where the item comes with the security seal broken and so sometimes I give 3 stars. Recommended to all buyers looking for a great price and a high level of service. thanks

I bought this phone for my mom to use in case of emergencies. It works fine and makes calls okay. It is much smaller than expected. The screen is very small and the buttons are hard to press because of how the keyboard is laid out. Overall this phone is fine for emergency use, but I do not recommend it for people with bad eyesight.

İ bought this phone last week. first it's AT&T device but unlock you can use by any simcart second it's not in the orginal box third Phone is not in the original cover. cover was only plastic. fourth you can not update to windows phone 7.8 because at&t is not supporting yet. Seller didn't say anything about AT&T i was thinking its a brand new original ( to everything ) device but this is only device one reason for buy, price is very less.

perfect product.but take note that its an AT&T branded unlock phone which is not stated on the product description.I live in Abuja Nigeria and its a superb phone for adriod and BB users.my biggest setback is I cant transfer my important/official sms messages from my long used Nokia N95 8G phone to this phone.Overall , I'm very satisfied.

I had to learn iPhone and Android because I am the "go-to" person for both my husband and my boss. I loved the iPhone OS, but found the Android OS clunky and awkward. I had an old Nokia running Symbian - awesome hardware, but few apps available.I had just received a Lumia 700 as a gift. Being a Microsoft hater, I was shocked how much I liked the Windows OS. I like the seamless integration with my Live account. I also loved the actual phone, but was used to a better screen. Then I saw the 900 . . . I lusted after it, BAD. I decided that it was worth insulting my gift-giver and ordered the phone.And now, with SkyDrive, even if I lose my phone, I don't lose all my files. When I activated my new 900, everything from my 700 was automatically there! OMG - I LOVE IT. I would be lost without Nokia Maps and Nokia Drive. Both apps work so much better than my old GPS.The screen is unbelievably bright with great contrast. Videos are beautiful on this screen. Camera is great, the panoramic stitching is amazing.This phone is great for the smart-phone newbie or the smart-phone junkie. It really has something for everyone. And the number of useful apps seems to be growing rapidly. I really can't say enough about this phone.
