This is the best phone I have ever used. I had the Iphone when it first came out. When the Iphone battery died I got a samsung captivate. A few months later I got a Dell Venue Pro (Win7) and I would bounce back and forth between the Droid and Win7. After a few months I parked the Droid and used the Dell Win7 phone full time. It was just a better os. I purchased the Nokia lumia 900 on day one and I am blown away by this phone.Pros-Great screen with really rich colors-Silky smooth. It just never glitches-Nice Nokia apps-Very high end looking. It's a good looking device-Good camera. It is a hair below the Samsung camera but still very good with a good flash.-Great sound and my callers hear me well-More than enough apps on Win7 platform. It is not the number of apps it is the quality. I have what i need. How many weather apps can anyone actually use.-Good battery life-Ability to pin your destinations on your start page. My wife and I went on vacation and we just googled our destination, clicked get directions, hit the pin on the bottom and it pinned and named it and put it to the start page. When you click it on the start page it starts your directions. Just tap the screen and it tells you what to do next. Made driving around a strange town very easy.-Voice activation works very well-The screen is actually recessed just enough so that if you lay it face down it won't scratch the screen.-Great Twitter and Facebook integrationCons-I don't like the power button on the side of the phone-I had to wait this long to get one...

here we go ...1. price - a total steal for such a quality piece of hardware2. display - ClearBlack display beats all other xxxx-amoled's3. design+durability - solid, sleek, and sweet ... can't take my eyes off it4. performance - fast fast fast!5. stability - hung apps and that ole "waiting for app to close" on those "other" os's ... not here6. typing - often overlooked by a lot of reviews, but folks, this uses an onscreen keyboard and for those of you (including myself) that were blackberry pros, ms research has done an awesome job in this area ... it's onscreen typing done right!7. apps + social + outlook - check, completely covered here. the outlook integration on other smartphones suck compared to this, which i suppose, should be expected. i know some people here and there are complaining about certain "specific" apps, but they are either coming and/or there are alternatives8. looks - boy is this a pretty phone ... yea, i sort of mentioned this in 3 above, but it bears repeating :)9. camera+video - very crisp - this zeiss lens is a winner, though some reviews say otherwise, but as we all know, image quality has some subjectivity to it10. music - awesome sound, great bass, clearhrmm, i what else have i missed. any who, if anyone wants to know anything else about this unit ... i have one, just comment and i'll respond.update: as ruslan pointed out (thanks ruslan) ...11. this baby includes nokia drive 2.0 = free voice navigation turn-by-turn offline gps with international maps! there is just so much you're getting here folks.

I have owned both an iPhone(3G) and an Android (Galaxy S Captivate) and can say that the Nokia Lumia 900 does NOT disappoint. Being somewhat a "tech junkie" I like to buy the best phone available every time I'm able to upgrade. So when comparing specs to other Android phones, the Nokia doesn't compare well. But after actually playing with it in store, and seeing how smooth it was, and how it combined everything I needed and used in just a few tiles, I decided to give it the 30 day test drive. It's been 3 months and I must say I'm still impressed. The phone just works. It has everything you need integrated easily into the device, and it's a simple, easy, yet efficient phone. I also have my work email (Outlook) sync'd to the phone and it is by far the best email experience as far as mobile devices go. My only complaint, which really isn't a complaint as much as a personal preference is the physical size of the phone. I would like to see all these features packed into a Lumia 800 size. Other than that, no Pandora and no Flash Player kinda sucks, but I assume they'll be coming in due time. When these items are fixed, the phone will be a 5 star phone for sure.

I'm not going to write 10 paragraphs, but this phone is great. Its super easy to use, fun, super fast and I love that it has internet sharing. I use it for my smart tv.

I received this product yesterday and firstly the box was in a terrible condition it looked like if a "mechanic" rubbed his hands all over it....If that wasn't bad enough when i opened the box the charger was not in it's original packaging and the actual handset looked like the person who handled it was having fries for lunch because it was greasy and disgusting. The film which protected the screen had so many bubbles indicating it was removed and replaced which would be an indication that the phone was used.I payed for a new phone not a used phone and this item was purchased to be given as a christmas gift....How can i give this to someone?I will be returning same

I was very happy with my N8 and was deliberating whether I really need a new one (although 41 megapixels sounded very nice).Then battery in N8 starting to die a slow and agonizing death and you can't change it there (luckily in 808 the battery is changeable), so I needed a new phone.I'm really happy I went with 808. As great as picture quality was on N8 (for a phone of course), 808 kills it. And video is also way better. I've shot a few concert videos - sound is very very clear, no overloading AT ALL. A video camera quality of both sound and video.Transferring all of my files via bluetooth from N8 to 808 was very easy.Sound is definitely better too, not just picture/video quality.Other stuff is just like N8 (I've updated N8 to latest Symbian version, so there isn't really any difference in OS).I'm also glad I bought it when I did - I've paid $500 and now it goes for around $550.

I checked the specs on my Lumia 810 and the Lumia 900, they were only off by milometers.So I bought this to test. It is great but those milometers were important. So even though I can strech it over my 810, it will not work permanently. The holes and buttons do not line up except maybe the charging at the bottom.I wish it fit and I would have widened the camera hole to fit. So if you were trying to get off cheap with a Lumia 900 case then realize that the camera hole is about a centimeter higher on the 810 and the thickness will prevent use. But you might try leather cases, that have a little more play.

Needless to say, the camera is great, the flash is pretty strong...but I like other minor things like the Play via Radio app and the Voice recorder.GPS works perfect, and I love being able to download maps from countries I intend to visit or dream of visiting, and I can use the maps offline.But what really impressed me was the sound recording quality, both shooting videos and using the Voice recorder. The sound is amazing, clean and distortion free. I recently used the Voice recorder while my grandmom was talking and it captured every sound around, from the birds singing to the sound of the cars passing on the street, 30 meters away from where she was sitting. I'm sure my Sony camcorder can't make sound recordings so perfect like this.Another thing that I like is the ability to zoom up to 4x while shooting HD videos, with lossless quality.The 808 only drawback, for me, used to be the keyboard, very, very hard to use. Now I'm using the Swype keyboard which I downloaded from Nokia Store and it's much better than the default one.

But my kids love the phone for playing games. The pictures are awesome. Only problem I have had is the videos occasionally freeze and stop, requiring a re-boot of the phone to get them to play again. The other phone functions do not freeze, just the video. Probably a problem with the add-on memory card, but the phone specifies a class 6 and the card is a class 10 which I would assume would be a better card.

This is a great phone overall because you can use it anywhere in the world. It has pentaband capabilities for high speed 3G access anywhere in the world as well. But best of all is the camera ability. It uses the entire sensor and post-process the image to get the best 5MP image possible. I absolutely recomend this product if you are looking for a solid phone but also want a small yet powerful point and shoot camera at your findertips.The only drawback is that the phone is quite bulky, but thats because of the massive camera sensor. It has some density to it.

This Nokia Lumia 900 is the BEST PHONE I've used so far. I've had the opportunity to own several Android, Apple and now 3 different Windows Phones and this one is the best I've had my hands on. Nokia APPS are awesome also, and 4LTE, wow!I noticed a reduced speed of the swipe from my Samsung Focus, but it only took me a day or 2 to actual get used to it being slower, and now I can't tell the difference. I know its by design, and I have no issue with that. This phone is heavier, more solid, takes great pictures, I have had 2 conversations via Bluetooth from my car for over an hour thru the back roads and where previous phones I have had, including my focus, dropped calls and faded in and out on the audio. Not tis phone, it was rock solid. I've asked people on both long calls, when we were done, if they had any audio issues as it was a new phone, and both times they said it was clear and they didn't even know I was on my phone in my car.My other phones using the same noise cancelling headsets or visor clip bluetooth always had some issues, and I have not been so lucky, normally calling back or having the call dropped at some points on the drive home. Again, I gotta say, this phone for the past 2 1/2 weeks has been great in all the areas I use it! Music, my audio books, my bluetooth stereo sound, simple as pie to setup and get running, right out of the box.Solid, Solid phone! I'll be buying my wife one and tossing her old phone out the window very soon.

While this may seem to some as another Nokia 900 user jumping on the bandwagon of 5 star reviews, I assure you it is sincere. I switched from an Apple 3Gs last week after my iphone would no longer hold a charge for over a couple of hours. Time to move on. I looked at the iphone 4 and 4s, some Samsung and HTC models, but the Lumia 900 seemed to be both a quality phone and a great deal. I've owned a Nokia in the past and really liked it. But the Lumia has blown me away. It is the first Windows OS phone I've had and I've got to say it is sweet. Fast, responsive, and easy to use. I don't do alot of surfing or music listening, but I do have several email accounts and need a sturdy,relaible phone. So far, the Lumia 900 has met my needs perfectly. The battery life seems superior, the set-up was fast and very easy, call reception is good, and I love the design and feel of the phone. I was a little wary it would be too big, but it is a very convenient phone to carry around.It has some weight to it, which I like, and the camera is awesome! Using Zune for downloads and transfers is okay, but I do wish more apps were available (I'm sure they will be as Windows OS catches on), but I have other devices with apps, so it's not a deal-breaker for me. Overall, The Nokia Lumia 900 has been a real joy to use and I see it as a phone I can use for a number of years without wanting to change because of problems. If you're wondering whether to give it a look, I would definitely recommend it.

I have been a longtime iPhone user, from 2008..Started with iPhone 3G and used iPhone 3GS, iPhone4 and 4S. I have also used Android phones (Nexus, Galaxy etc) over the years for considerable periods of time. All said and done, WP7 and Nokia have hit the sweet spot with the Lumia 900. The OS is so simple and fluid to use, you don't need to be a nerd/geek to handle it (HINT: Android). Everything is so beautifully laid out and well integrated w/ facebook, twitter and skydrive. The hardware of Lumia 900 simply feels great in hand. This is definitely a level above any android phone I have ever used. Software is also a huge plus over android(pure google experience included). With upcoming WP8, I'm sure it will give a tough competition to the upcoming iPhone 5 and Android Jelly Bean. If you have been giving the WP7 os amiss all this time, it's definitely worth a second look now bcoz of Lumia 900. Now is the time, since it's so well priced at ATT.These are some of things I like about WP7 and Nokia Lumia* Great Design* Beautiful and smooth+fluid OS* Hardware fit and finish* Nokia maps and Drive.* Facebook and Twitter integration* XBOX live and games* Office (esp outlook)The camera could have been better and there are some key apps missing compared to android and ios..but I'm sure by the time WP8 releases these will be rectified and I can't wait to get my hands on the next gen of lumia and WP

I'm coming from owning a Nokia N8 for over a year after using the PureView 808 for a bit over a week these are my impressions:-The interface is very snappy and easy to use, WiFi now connects much quicker and it seems to me that is way faster than that on the N8-The feel on the case is great, although I find it a bit slippery-The screen is a delight to look at, it may seem to be low resolution, but it's actually a very useful resolution.-Video recording is awesome! The Rich Recording Nokia developed to accompany video is a quantum leap in terms of quality, this definitely surpassed my expectations-The Dolby Headphone is amazing! I loaded High Rez music, attached PSB M4Us headphones and the result is excellent, I am now enjoying my daily commute with high quality music-I am using this phone on the T-Mobile network and works like a charm, no lags, dropped calls, etc (at least in NYC)-Battery life, double thumbs up!-Of course, the camera is phenomenal. I am still learning how to better take pictures with the phone, since now there are more customizable settings. I guess I'll come back and update this once I've mastered the camera.

takes some time understand the OS, but when you get it, you love it. is simple, but fabulous. everything in one place, everything is organized. orderinstant is a great seller. the phone is new, liberated from AT & T. works perfect in Venezuela. 100% recomended

I have used those in the past and I will never go back after using Windows Phone. I tried using friends phones using the other OS's and realized how difficult it was to go back to them.

I received my Cyan Nokia Lumia 900 on Friday morning from AT&T. All I can say is WOW. I upgraded from the WP7 Trophy on the Verizon network to the Lumia. Verizon obviously doesn't want to support the Windows Phone lineup so I went back to AT&T. I was lucky to get the phone for free on the AT&T promo for new customers.This thing is very fast. I have had the iPhone, iPhone 3GS, Motorola Droid X, and the HTC Trophy. This thing blows them all away.The screen is really something to see. Not only is it incredibly sharp, but outside in direct sunlight it is easy to see. It's almost strange how easy it is to see this thing outside.Battery life is impressive. I had the extended 2200 mh battery on my Trophy and this 1800 mh comes very close to that runtime. A whole day of use is very easy. Checking emails, FB, twitter, occasional video/music playback, the battery still is 1/4 full at the end of the day.LTE coverage here in Indianapolis is pretty good on AT&T. Again, the speed of this device can't be overstated. It's a single core that runs like a dual core Android.I'm an Apple guy. 2 Macbook pros, an iMac, and an iPad. But this thing works better than an iPhone. Believe me. I've tried em. I'm not a Microsoft fan but I'm sold on WP7.They should call it something else! I understand the MS stigma. My advice-Get over it! :) You should at least look at this thing! Hate to sound like a fanboy but I want this platform to do well so I can keep using it in the future. I'm selfish!

Blown away by how great the handset is given the cost.Despite sharing some of the same stats/chipsets with other WP7 devices, the Lumia 900 is different, in a very good way. Play with one at AT&T or a friend's to see what I mean, online pictures/videos don't do it justice.- Great battery life, lasts all day despite intense usage.- Great front/back cameras.- Great screen, lower resolution than iphone4, but 4.3" size makes iphone's display seem pathetically small. Easier to read in daylight than my Samsung Focus S, which also has a decent screen. Not as big as Samsung Galaxy Note's 5.3", but Lumia 900's 4.3" screen seems to be a good fit for me, fits in my pocket better and leaves more cash in my pocket than Samsung Galaxy Note.- Great reception/call-quality, need AT&T to enable 4G LTE where we live.- Great apps, the ones that are available are awesome, platform needs more apps, fortunately they seem to be coming. - Great for reading and writing-short emails anywhere while doing other stuff. Outlook/Hotmail email app blows away desktop email clients for being able to easily sift through and read emails. I only use laptop to write longer emails.- Great user interface, liking the WP7 smart tile UI, simple and intuitive.- Great solid case that laughs at scratches since the color isn't just skin deep like some cheapo slapped together handsets.- Ok Resolution, could be higher, but that's really the only thing I can complain about. Still am able to read plenty via the kindle reader.

I purchased my Lumia 900 from Mobile Tronix. I was concerned at first about the low cost, but after a couple of emails to them, went ahead and ordered. When I got the phone it was in a Nokia box with charger and headphones. The 900 was brand completely new though I was a bit worried at first when I saw the T&T logo in the top right corner. Even more so when on starting up it was all "T&T". but as soon as I tried it out it was truly unlocked. After deleting all the contract stuff I now have my own personalised Lumia 900 and am so very pleased with it.
