I bought this to replace my GPU stock fan as it was making loud noises.
After putting this on. Wow what a change. Very silent now.
It idle at 54 when playing game. Down from 85 to 54 is beyond. Buy it without hesitation.

Bonjour,
Marque réputée et à la réputation non usurpée.
Malheureusement assez onéreuse et au choix de couleur discutable et limité.
Cette série "économique" au bon cahier des charges longévité/prix/performance est censée combler les lacunes existantes tout en positionnant la marque sur un tarif davantage "entrée de gamme"...
Utilisé pour ma part comme ventilateur de boîtier afin de refroidir une carte mère MSI B350 Pro AMD Ryzen G2400 le tout dans un boîtier Bitfenix Comrade fenêtré, ce ventilateur remplit parfaitement son office en silence.
C'est un véritable PWM à quatre conducteurs, et il est parfaitement géré par la plateforme dual boot Windows 10 / Linux Ubuntu depuis le bios, mais il peut l'être aussi par les O.S. si l'on installe les logiciels ou "paquets" nécessaires.
Côté moins, il est toujours livré dans une solide boîte en carton qui coûte presque aussi cher que lui, mais avec un assortiment peau de chagrin qui m'a contraint à acheter ce complément:

du coup, je ne suis plus certain de l'économie réalisée.

Used some of these in a fairly old build. Having a 980ti in the case it was getting very hot so I changed the stock antec fans out for these. At 100% they are quite noisy compared but do move a lot more air. Certainly not a silent fan but when running at 500rpm when pc on idle they are very quiet. Build quality is what you would expect from this manufacturer never had a fan fail before apart from Corsair fans (had numerous Corsair fans fail over the years) never had an issue with these guys. Better colour that their usual brown and when on sale are a bargain

Really really quiet as expected. The brand is well known when it comes to creating top of the range cooling technology. There were other fans I could have purchased that would have done a similar job at a slightly lower price but I know Noctua are well known in the computer world. The only gripe I would have is that the screws provided were meant to be used to also create the grooves in the fan. It wasn't difficult at all and it didn't need a lot of extra force while screwing but I would prefer it if the fans came with grooves already made. Other than that, I'm happy with my purchase and the fans do a good job while keeping really quiet.

Got the fan for under £10, which was cheaper than most options. Very impressed by design and build quality of the fan. Cable length is decent; I had no issues although if you have a large full tower case, you have need extenders depending where you want to place them. Running at 50%, fans are virtually silent. At 100%, very gently hum that is soothing for me (using fractal design S case). Overall, would strongly recommend these fans. Excellent value for money. Be Quiet may be a bit quieter at full speed but not by much and almost twice the price.

Only replacing my Noctua NF-F12 fans as i wanted to see if these would be almost as good but at a much lower noise level.
I am using these to push air through the radiator of my AIO and i can honestly say i am impressed by these fans.
These fans top speed is 1700rpm, which is just over 50% slower then my old NF-F12 fans but in my experiance they're polar oposites to the NF-F12's. So quiet and I'm not noticing a loss in cooling performance. Very pleased with these fans.
Now my 1080ti's fans are the noisiest part of my PC.

The air flow this fan,and the 2x120mm noctua fans I bought, kick out compared to standard fans that came with the PC case and I stole from my old case is incredible. They are also so smooth sounding, like all you can hear is the air flow, there's no weird rattling noise like my old zalman fans.
I'm about performance not sound, so I have these setup to make out pretty sharipish and when underheavy load the amount of air that is pushed out the top/back of my pc is insane.
Temps are great, well worth the investment

Purchase 3 x 120mm PWM 1700 and 2 x 140mm PWM 1500. They are all being returned for these reasons:
- The noise: these are not silent at all even at their lowest speed. 2 of the 120mm's I believe are faulty as one of them makes a clicking or popping noise at any speed below 1000rpm, the other makes a buffeting noise at speeds above 1200rpm. I can not get any of them to spin below 700rpm even though they're meant to be able to spin at 450rpm min. 1 of the 140mm fans makes an annoying high pitch electrical noise, and both the 140mm's are incredibly loud high pitch 'scream' at anything above 1100rpm.
- Quality: As mentioned above, I believe 2 of the 120s and one of the 140s are faulty.
- Performance: these do not appear to move any where near as much air as my Fractal Design case's stock fans...and any so much louder than them at the same speed.
As I said, I am returning these and am going for the BeQuiet Silent Wings 3 High Speeds instead...I already have a 120 and 140mm one of these on my Dark Rock Pro 4 CPU cooler and they are pretty much silent at anything up to 75% speed. They also have a wider operating range at 200-1600rpm for the 140mm and 250-2200rpm for the 120mm version.

Brought this Noctua Redux Fan to replace my Cooler Master 212 Evo Fan as it started making a weird buzzing noise and the RPM wasn't stable. Wow this fan is quiet and is keeping my i7 7700k CPU really cool. Now my PC tower is full of Noctua fans and they've never disappointed me. Always good soild quality from Noctua, i even stuck some spare rubber pads on the corners to match my other Noctua Chromax Fans

I got this fan to replace a Cooler Master MF120 fan that was a little bit whiney over 70% rpm when used on a radiator.
I get no motor noise at all from this Noctua NF-P12 even pushing air through AIO. Very pleased. I still use the Cooler Master but as a unrestricted case fan instead. These Noctua are as quite as you will ever need I think obviously you get air noise at high revs but that is expected and is doing the job its designed for.

I had a noisy Case Fan and needed a replacement. This fan from Noctua fitted the bill completely. I have a Nocture fan fitted to my power supply so I new they were good. But this fan has made all the difference. It is quiet but powerful. My only difficulty was in fitting the fan as the rubber mounts I mounted it on where difficult to get to. However this was mainly due to the fact that the computer was already built with the power supply and main board fitted and I was restricted for room. If your building a new computer you should have no problem.

Got two of these to replace the CPU cooler fan, used the spare CPU fan on the back of the PC. Noctua are absolutely brilliant, I have my airflow set at Performance with two of these, before I had only one fan on the CPU cooler and could only have it set it to Standard before I started hearing annoying noises.
I think grey looks pretty cool, really can't beat the reduced price for Redux!

I have three of these Noctua NF-P12 fans installed in my case using a push --> pull format for an Intel i7-9700k processor. These are hands down the best fans I've ever used in a system build, and now I see what all the hype is about. I can only hear the fans when I'm gaming, and even then they're still quieter than any other case fan I've used. I have some SSD's in my build but I'm still using a traditional 3.5 HDD for media files. And this drive is now the loudest part of my PC!

If you don't want one of those fancy fans with LED lighting then this is a great fan that is competitively priced. I had to replace my CPU fan. This one was quieter than the original cooler fan I had for the i7 cooler fan (not the one supplied with the CPU, but one that was bought with overclocking in mind). If you are on a budget, this fan is worth getting. Very pleased with how silent it is compared to the expensive one I'd originally installed.

going from cooler master silencio fans 2x 120mm. to this is like night and day. not only in how quiet it is but how superior it forces air through tight area's. i literately play all my regular games that i know product alot of heat from my AIO. yet these fans do a good job at dissipating the heat its decreased the heat overall that the CPU cooler produces. im talking a good 5c improvement.

Comparing this to the artix f12, I can barely notice any difference - though I prefer the design of the noctua. Would have been 5* but it really loses in the category of best price for performance. If you can't decide between noctua and f12s I would recommend the f12s since they're cheaper and there is not much difference.

Used this as a rear case fan to replace a rattly old junker from an old CPU cooler.
Is whisper quiet at 50% RPM. When it's ramped up to 100% it is audible, but it's not like a jet engine which is what the old one was like.
I will probably buy two more to replace my radiator fans. (Who needs RGB!)
Took 2 weeks to get here and was shipped from Italy for some reason? Apart from that all is great.

Would have given 5 stars if it wasnt for the fact you have to buy the anti-vibration pads separate (NA-SAVP1) pictured with the gray ones. By Noctua standards can't understand why you would have to buy them separate AND you have to buy 16 of them (2 sets) at half the price of the fan. Would be nice if they where included. Otherwise top notch fan as usual from Noctua.

Hands down one of the best fans for the price, always bought noctua although they've never been the best looking but had great performance. I've now realised they've actually started doing grey instead of horrible cream and brown. Can't notice a massive thermal difference at all, highly recommended for a low price!

4 years down the line, my computer fan decided to get noisy. This fan fit perfectly. I did have to get an extention because of where my controler was, but the lead will do for most (approx 30")
Its just as quite as the original, and the price was a steal. Fast delivery too.

Usual exceptional Noctua quality but at a lower price. Doesn't come with the rubber mounts, hence the price, but I used spare ones from previous purchases of Chromax fans. This one is installed in a micro server, running 24/7. Very quiet, PWM works well, has provided plenty of air flow to keep the box nice and cool even in the recent very hot weather.

Noctua fans are simply the best, no matter what size. Super silent, great flow and static pressure. Will greatly decrease the noise from any stock fan as these need lower rpm's to obtain same flow. Worth every penny, long time user. For these models you'll need to purchase the rubber corner grommets separately.

I bought this to replace a dying fan on a quiet-build PC. The Noctua is of standard size and layout so was easy to fit but, compared with the fan it replaced, it is easily audible when rotation speed increases under any sort of load. Perfectly adequate and reasonably priced but if you're looking for ultra low-noise there are better fans available.

Finally a cheap noctua fan. I bought this to add another exhaust to my case. Doesnt have the ugly beige and brown colour but the performance and quietness is still there! You dont get the rubber sound dampers but they're not necessary and luckily for the consumers also reduces the price. An excellent fan.
