I've had one of these fans for months now and it's my first fan from Noctua - whilst silent for the most part, quite often it will start making a periodic 'whirring' sound which I don't think should be the case. It's annoying as it's definitely louder than the fan itself. If it were possible to be sent a replacement that would be nice.

Bought a set of three. One I believed to be faulty as it generated a lot of noise for a noctua fan. You're better off buying the bullet and buying their more premium models.

Old fan had become very noisy, bearings had gone. The Noctua is quiet after startup and does the job of keeping things cool.

Easy to install, really silent and good airflow. A little arrow showing the airflow direction would be welcomed, but I think this is something all fan producers should implement. Great product

Los ventiladores de mi PC comenzaron a hacer ruido y decidí comprar estos por recomendación de un amigo informático.
La presentacion y los acabados del producto son geniales. El conector que tiene es de 3 pines y las revoluciones son bajas (900rpm) pese a su alto caudal, cosa que buscaba para silenciar un poco más mi PC.
Esta versión en Gris es mucho más bonita que la marrón típica, así que encantada.

Tenia otro ventilador de la marca scythe muy silencioso (19db). Vi que noctua habia sacado nuevos ventiladores mas economicos y este modelo producia aun menos decibelio (12db) por lo que me lo compre. Sin embargo, al instalarlo os aseguro que es 12db no se de donde los han sacado porque mete algo mas de ruido que mi ventilador anterior. Me supongo que la seria Redux no merecera mucho pena. Mejor cogerse la serie original de Noctua. No recomiendo este ventilador

Ich habe damit eine elektronisch geregelte Zwangsbelüftung meines Wohnmobilkühlschranks gebaut.
Die Lüfter laufen selbst bei 7 Volt noch absolut zuverlässig an.
Bei entsprechender Hitze und ca. 14V (Solarspannung) laufen sie mit High Speed ohne störende Geräusche zu verursachen.
Die Lüfter sind definitiv ihr Geld wert !

leider nicht die volle punktzahl, weil es sich meinem versuch, es für andere zwecke zu misbrauchen widersetzt hat!
hat einen luftstrom von etwa 50-60m³/h (ungeeichtes messgerät), kann aber keine staudrücke bewältigen.
über nichteinmal 1cm aktivkohleschüttung bricht der luftstrom komplett ab.
für den reinen PC-einsatz aber sicher top.

esta puesto como apoyo de entrada de aire inferior en una caja zalman Z11 neo,para ayudar a refrigerar la grafica,una 570 que se pone calentita que da gusto.a 900 rpms y 12v es inaudible.un buen producto a un precio razonable

Der Lüfter hält, was er verspricht.
Habe ihn als Ersatz in ein älteres Seasonic Netzteil eingebaut und betreibe ihn an einer 3-Pin-Lüftersteuerung.
Zwischen 500-700U/min hört man den Lüfter nicht. Ab 600U/min ist der Luftdurchsatz für meine Zwecke brauchbar. Optimum Liegt für mich bei 650-700U/min. Man kann den Lüfter auch bei voller Drehzahl laufen lassen, ohne dass er deutlich zu hören ist. Alles eine Frage des Einsatzzwecks und der eigenen Empfindlichkeit für Lärm...
Ein Stern Abzug für den hohen Preis. Davon abgesehen, volle Kaufempfehlung.

Con una presentación más básica que sus hermanos mayores, este producto ofrece un gran rendimiento a un precio más ajustado. Presentado en una caja sencilla, el producto hace lo que promete. Como ventilador adicional de caja, sin ruido ni vibraciones. 100% recomendable.

De verdad que funcionan, coloqué 6 ventiladores y no se oye casi nada... aunque conectados a la tarjeta madre, porque conectados al hub del molex giraban mucho más y sí me parecía un poco ruidoso, incluso con el reductor de ruidos, probé solo uno y si le baja el ruido pero me parecia todavía notorio. Aún no pruebo reductor de ruido y conectado a la placa, pero es que en verdad ya es casi imperceptible.

buy 7 of these and a fan cotroller , open your psu(be carefull opening a psu should be done with rubber gloves and extrem care) put one on a compatible cpu cooler too and in the cpu fan connetor. then you will have a very nice wisper quiet pc. get as many 140mm they are truly nicer
