This Noctua NF-P12 Redux 900 is a 120mm x 120mmx 25mm fan. First of all it is 900 RPM and is a low slow blower. Runs with a 12volt source and bet best of all of it's features is that is 12.6dB(A) acoustical nose rating ! That is as quiet as it is going to get. I placed my fan in my Vox guitar amplifier next to my rectifier and preamp tubes for just a little extra cooling. I didn't want my amp's control panel to be completely cool to the touch but rather just warm (it got hot prior to the fan). This does the job and a GREAT job at it. Now, if you want more air to be moved around go to a higher rated fan but stay with the Noctua brand.

Very quiet, near silent, only audible when within a foot or two. Using it in a NAS that is running 24/7. Only complaint is they don’t come with the rubber anti vibration pads, but not a big deal as I don’t hear any vibrating

Están bien chidos, el ruido? A quien le importa si hace ruido o no, me bajo la temperatura de 90°C a 50 o 60°C, cumplieron muy bien su función, excelente producto.

The RPM and of course CFM is too slow; but as a supplement to my already existing hard drive cooling fans, this is OK for its use. However for intense gaming and or cooling needs you probably want to go with a different product.

So I had eight fans (6x Arctic F12 PST 1350rpm - 2x deepcool 120 Pressure fans) installed (2x exhaust rear and top, x2 directed at GPU using a PCi Bracket gadget, 2x pulling on a deepcool 240EX Radiator that has two fans already. I was getting... CPU 38.c idle 64.c load ---GPU 36.c Idle 82.c Load

My computer had a Rosewill fan, it quit working, so I bought another Rosewill fan. It was super loud. My computer is in my home office, so I don't need jet engine sounds there. The next day I ordered this one, and it is super quiet. Just 4 screws to swap it out, and a standard plug so it is easy to install.

These fans are the cheaper version. It seems that the only real change is the accessories in the box and the mounting.
These installed in my case perfectly and despite the lack of anti vibration mountings they don’t vibrate. That said, I’ve never had a case fan vibrate.
The first thing I noticed was a lack of noise. With the system at idle there is a good amount of air moving through. When gaming the fans move a huge amount of air and yet I can hear them over anything else. In a silent room you can hear the air move but that’s about it.
I’m not sure if these ever got to full speed but they seem so efficient they probably wouldn’t need to. Everything in my case stays much cooler than with these fans than the ones that came with the case.
The colour... it just doesn’t go with a black and red themed case. As this is more personal preference I won’t mark the fan done, it’s just a shame there aren’t more colours (for the price).
Overall I’m really pleased with how these perform and how easily they install.

Love these fans, great product, but recieved a used fan that was installed somewhere then returned and sold to me as a new product. Besides the holes. Product is fine. Fan Package was ripped (not a big deal) these fans are permanently gouged when installed with manufacturers screws but can be avoided with mounts that don't scratch the fan. Good product but unacceptable advertisement as new.

Needed to replace the exhaust fan on my PC after it started to make a whirring noise that quickly became irritating. After reading the reviews on Noctua fans I decided to get one to see what the fuss was about. It's a brilliant fan, makes no noise at all and will be replacing my other fans to Noctua when they go.
Only issue is that it was not available in black so bought this grey version. My PC has a tinted glass side panel and the grey looks black through it. However, if it was clear glass it may contrast with the rest of your computer. There are kits by Noctua to change the colour of them but these are rather expensive.
Overall, as I am not bothered by the colour and was more interested in noise level, these were the optimal choice at the price point.

I needed a quiet fan to cool a big screen tv cabinet that I converted into a stereo cabinet in my home office. I have a tube integrated amplifier that generates significant heat that needs to be removed from the enclosed space. This fan solved the problem while being quiet enough to not interfere with my listening pleasure.

So whilst building a budget repurposed PC I came across these. The motherboard can get them up to about 1650 RPM, and they pull air through a radiator fine. At normal use CPU temperature went down from 56 degrees C to 39 degrees C.
TL;DR version, at £12.45 they are a steal. Don't just buy one, buy a few, because at this price I don't see them being available for long. The Akasa Vipers come in at a close second, and if these Noctuas were at their normal price, I would have gone with the Vipers.

Not kidding when they say it's ultra quiet. Put 2 in my Home entertainment/server PC, and will be adding 2 more this weekend. Compared to the single 80mm case fan in my old setup these things are a level above (technically below) in sound quality. There basically is none when sitting 3'-4' away. Have to get real close to hear them. Noctua knows there stuff when it comes to cooling fans.

Would not hesitate to recommend these, was hesitant to purchase Noctua despite their good reputation, - the original fans were just too expensive.
Great to see they’ve evidently listened to customer feedback for the Redux line, better prices through less unnecessary accessories, and a good choice of colours unlike the originals with their tan colour.
Performance wise - these things move loads of air through my radiator, even when set to lower RPMs. Super quiet operation too.
These are the third brand of fans I’ve now tried, each other’s failed or made weird noises eventually.
I don’t think I’ll buy anything other than Noctua fans in future.

Gave it 5 stars because you can't do better than Noctua at this price. Be aware though that at 900RPM you aren't generating much pressure and your airflow is fairly low. If you have any material blocking the fan you'll notice pretty reduced airflow. That said, the noise level is silent, and if you have a mind to line up a bunch of them to intake air you'll be happy. Wouldn't use these for a radiator fan, spend the extra money on 4-pin higher airflow fans.

I use a Silverstone SG13 mini ITX case with Ryzen 2400G + EVGA 1060 Graphics card [ Very hot at peak]. Earlier my sys temp was more than 125F and processor will easily cross 120 when running Prime 95.
After Noctua REDUX NF-P12 as case fan:
My Ryzen never went beyond 105F when I ran prime 95.
---This also come with 5 year warranty
---Dark Grey colour that goes with any case..

But still, if Noctua comes with an RGB series then, No one will think of any other fans for they computers...

The blue illumination is a nice feature of this fan. It is quiet, too. Replaced nosier fans in the computer and it helps a lot.

The Noctua Redux range is a reduced cost fan range with the only reason that the fans are cheaper being that the accessories normally found with their Chromax, Premium or Industrial range of fans.
That being said the build quality is the same as the other ranges and the Fans are still just as good as the other ranges from Noctua... Just because it is a little cheaper does not make them worse, it is just not the case with these. They are excellent fans that run virtually silent even when at 100%... I have 2x 120mm and 2x 140mm as case fans in a NZXT H210 Red/Black Case.. When the fans are at 100% there is an increase of about 3db total for myself.
It is recommended to pick up some Chromax Anti-Vibration pads to got with the color scheme of your machine, as they will help with vibrations and make the fans look that much better.
Buy Noctua fans with confidence.. to be honest any of their range are excellent.

My tower fans started getting loud a while ago. I've been putting off replacing them for a long time, but it finally got the best of me. After about an hour of trying to find the right cable routing for each fan and installing the new ones, it's like I have a brand new computer. No more scaring the dog!
