I wholeheartedly recommend this game to anyone who owns a Wii console! It is so much fun and is easy to get addicted to playing the games. I don't really care for the golf or baseball parts because both are kind of slow. I've tried the boxing part only a handful of times, but it seems pretty fun. I LOVE tennis and bowling!! Definitely buy this game!

Hi,I'm writing this review because I felt like talking about the Wii.I did get this as a Christmas present and was kind of surprised at how much I actually enjoyed it.As one who likes to stay kind of active and get daily exercise in some fashion, enough to make my body feel limber and healthy, I can say that this machine suits me well.I go to the gym regularly, work a physically demanding job, and like to walk the dog regularly. The Wii console gives me the CONVENIENCE and also kind of fun break I need to supplement my physical exercise needs at times other than work.My first impression of the Wii I just recieved, was WOW! You actually get PHYSICAL exercise and it felt great, like I was a kid again, playing all those physical sports out in the street or yard as a kid. If you try, you can actually get your body moving and use your arms and upper body in a beneficial way to give you a better sense of well being. As of writing this review, I have only played Wii Sports, one of the games that comes bundled with the Wii console.I highly recommend the Wii, and now I am looking forward to getting that Wii fit thing, so hopefully I can exercise my legs inside whenever I want to for convenience and exercise. Great supplement and time saver to helping to stay physically active. Really works! You get out of it what you put into it. Put you body into it!Update:The Nintendo download channel, the one where you can download older games from classic systems, doesn't have nearly as many games as I had hoped. I had heard about that already, so I was kind of prepared. There were many titles from the NES, SNES, and N64 that were missing that I was looking forward to playing. But then again, it did have several that I was looking for, to appease my appetite for now.I DIDN'T see Double Dragon 2, Double Dragon 3 (both for the original NES); Alien 3 (for the SNES); or Goldeneye (for the N64). Hopefully in the near future, they can get these titles, because I just want to play them!!!!

Just a couple scratches so that was great only thing was that when I started to play the wii sports the control did not work for swinging. The control has increasingly gone to crap and I can only use it to select things and sometimes not even that.

I take care of my games and equipment because I just don't have the money to keep buying new things over and over again. So when I buy a remote I expect to use it for more than a few weeks. I bought two of these at the same time and one broke three weeks later and the second broke a week after that. they didn't even really brake, they just stopped working, they look completely new but they don't work.

My husband and I are both into video games. We have all the systems and had a first generation Wii. It died on us (stopped spinning the disk) pretty much exactly a month after the warranty was up which was a total bummer. We waited for a while and then saw a great deal on Amazon we couldn't pass up and decided to get the new black version. The Wii is a lot of fun, for a short time. There is only so much you can do with the 2 games it gives you and after a while of playing them you rarely (if not never!) play them again.The graphics on the Wii leave a lot to be desired but when your purchasing it you should already know that. When you buy a Call of Duty or other game made for the PS3 and Xbox360, don't expect it to look or feel like the same game. The controls on most of those games are difficult and really don't make sense. The Wii should only be for interactive games in my honest opinion.One of the best attributes to a Wii is the size, the console is tiny! You can fit 3-4 Wii's in the space that the PS3 or Xbox 360 take up, it's about the width of 3 DVDS.Overall a great addition for families with younger children!

We are new to the Wii and I spent several hours researching different games that I was hoping would be enjoyable for a 4 yr old girl, 9 yr old boy and of course the adults in the house.This game is truly a blast. My son and I tend to play tennis primarily, but even the golf and bowling are a lot of fun. It forces the kids to get up and move around which is great.My 4 yr old does have some problems with this game as it does require you to press a series of buttons while swinging the controller but she still enjoys the action and has even figured out how to serve, some of the time.The games are simple and there aren't a lot of custom options (ie: you can only play doubles, no singles in tennis), but I can definitely see this offering hours of fun for the family.

As a private music teacher who loves yoga, I plan on using this in my music studio and to get back into shape after shoulder surgery. My sons however, love the games. My 14 year old son tried the yoga....and loves it. He isn't into games at all, so for me to see him experience something I love to do, fantastic. I see how this can benefit for my studio to teach lessons, to get me back in shape and then when I incorporate yoga into music lessons.

I am 30 now and have loved video games since childhood. I have owned Atari 2600, NES, PSP, PS2 & now the Xbox 360. I have also played several others in Gameboy, Gameboy Advance and the DS. I always had a soft corner for Nintendo but since I already own the 360 (which I love) I didnt really feel the need to go for the WII.
But the ever increasing sales and people from all ages raving about the WII made me go for it. Being so fond of video games I didnt want to miss the flavour of motion sensing. So got it last weekend. Here's my take on it.
1) Controls & Gameplay:
To start with its wrong to compare any other high def console (like the 360 or the PS3) with the Wii cos these are totally different products. The former ones are meant for hard core gamers who want nothing but spectacular graphics and detail. The WII is meant for people who either have not experienced video games and the ones who want good entertainment with simple interface and easy controls. (in 360 & ps3 some of the control combinations which are possible with so many buttons on the controller make it difficult to remember). And this is where Nintendo does a great job. It has the most easiest of controls in the games and chosing options on the interface and in between channels couldnt have been easier. It does not give you a cramped up feeling on the screen. Gameplay is very responsive and accurate mostly in all the games. Some people have experienced issues in bowling etc. where the ball turns towards the left. To counter all such issues, just make sure the Sensor is kept in the center of the TV and your controller is at the same level of the sensor while playing. This will give you best results. Also with the Wii Motion Plus getting launched the controls will become much better than they are now.
2)Graphics:
I own a samsung 40" lcd and the 360 looks great on it. Since I knew the WII does not have High Def graphics I wasnt expecting much from it. But after I plugged it on, I was pleasantly surprised with the rich colours and the clarity of the games on WII sports. The distance between my TV and the couch is not more than 10 feet but the Wii graphics still look nicer and much more than acceptable. I was thinking of going for the WII component cable which I wont now. Dont think I require it.
So for folks who have a 29" or a 32" graphics would look neat with an AV cable.
3)Build:
Another thing which impressed me was the build quality of the controllers and the nunchuk. Its very intelligently done with smooth finish on top and slight grainy and frosted finish at the bottom. This gives a real good feel when you hold them for the first time. The console is pretty compact and can be carried anywhere.
4)Wi-fi:
This is a big plus as you dont need to hook up another lan cable or buy a wifi adaptor. It detected my connection in no time and I was online. Havent tried the online features but I downloaded one channel which was free and that seems pretty decent.
The only thing which I hope Nintendo changes is the supply of the worldwide adaptor. This comes with a 120v adaptor only for the US and cant be used anywhere in the world. Today all the gadgets come with a 100-240v power adaptor and can be used in any part of the world. This was the only problem which I have with this bundle.
Lastly 2 points:
1) Its a great extension for all the gamers on 360 & PS3. You should go for it and you wont regret it. It will be a good change from the hard core and online gaming which we are used to now days.
2) My wife who is not a gamer has also got hooked on to this and we have had great time playing tennis & bowling. We are going to carry it to our parents place when we go there next.
Overall, Nintendo has done a great job in getting people together with this product and anyone who is even slightly open to trying it should go for it. You wont regret it.

Purchased one that had hard disk problem after about 1 year. Instead of sending to Nintendo, I opted to just purchase 2nd unit and toss first. Overall, kids love it but mine competes with Xbox. As kids get older (adolescence), they prefer xbox games to wii games. That said, it still gets pretty frequent use and works with Netflix.

I love my Wii. There are many fun games to play. This is also a fantastic system, if you're a classic game junkie like me, with virtual console, every games from systems past, including sega are here.

I've never set up a game system before and can be pretty dense about such things. The seller was more than willing to help me out if necessary. For that reason I'd be willing to order from him again. He was polite, prompt and helpful. I really appreciate that.I haven't played the mario cart game as it isn't of interest to me. The overall rating isn't based on the game, it's based on the customer service and on the quality of the game system.

My 4 & 5 year old boys love this game -- it is definitely the number one Wii game they play with amongst our collection of games. It's super fun and easy for them to operate and play with on their own. It's challenging and engaging and my husband and I really get into it too. Some of the games will even get you a little exercise jumping around such as basketball and sword fighting. My kids favorites are the ping pong, sword fighting, bowling and archery. The only game they don't care for is the golf (because it's more like real golf than fun mini golf). There are just so many games and levels on here that it will definitely keep your entertained for a long time. Highly recommend!!! (It's even more fun if you purchase the accessories such as the swords, rackets, golf club, etc).

I will not say it's a bad console but I got bored in a month because you have to be moving over to play all the time, it is not always good especially when you just want to lie down and play relaxed.

The motion thing is super sensitive. It works great. I love it. If only it played dvds or movies off a jump drive. But Hey It's for games I have a player for dvds. I tried getting the net and I was not impressed by that. But as far as playing games on it, it is a great little system. I got the black one and I love it. I like how small it is. Does not take up too much space and it looks good sitting where I have it among my pretty things under my tv. Can't wait to get my Zelda game to play on it. (Zelda is why I bought the system to begin with, LOL) I got Mario cart, Super fun, and Wii Fit also fun. But I LOVE me some ZELDA!

This item is great! Lots of games require a nun-chuck so you'll definitely need one of these thingamabobs. The issue is every once in a while it'll get unoriented and make the person or thing go in the wrong direction. All you have to do is unplug it and put it back in to fix it.

Wii sports bundle is lots of fun for everyone. I bought it for my nephew and he and I both spend a lot of happy hours playing with it. Great that the nunchuck came with it.

Very Entertaining system if you just want good old fashion gaming fun. Highly Recommend to anyone. Being the least expensive by far of the other consoles makes this even better.
