We love our Wii! We mainly got it for the Wii fit Wii Fit Plus with Balance Board and related "Games" It's perfect for a quick workout. Most of the other selections are mainly family oriented, fun, friendly games. There are a few rated M games but not like the selection for the Xbox! If you are looking for some great family fun and Netflix streaming this is a nice reasonably priced game console. The Netflix streaming works great over our AT&T Uverse 6mg package but the Will has a max Resolution limit of 480p. You will still need to get a HD cable separately HD Pro Component Cable for Wii.My biggest problem was mounting the sensor bar. I have the Samsung Touch of Red TV Samsung PN50A650 50-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV with RED Touch of Color. I have the TV installed on a stand that makes for the placement of the wii sensor bar very difficult. I was unable to use the supplied stick pads on this TV because it has a curved edge and the sensor would point down at the ground. I was also unable to place it under the TV because the same curved lip would block the sensors because the underside of the TV was to deep. I needed a way to get the sensor bar under the TV but unobstructed by the lip of the TV. Velcro tabs to the rescue! Scotch Multi-Purpose Fasteners, 5/8 x 5/8 Inch, Black, 16 Sets per Pack (RF7061) These simple little (velcro like) hook fasteners did the job perfectly! All I did was stack them in two columns (see pic). then stuck it under my TV (see pic). Problem solved! I started by measuring 1" from the edge on each side of the sensor bar then stuck my first fastener to the bar and then alternating the fastener disks I built 2 columns. I used 1 full set of fasteners to start with. You get 2 sets per pack. because they are velcro like you can remove or add what you need at any time. These are great little fasteners and have many uses. Easily worth every penny.We Love the Wii! If you like the hardcore games you may be better suited to with an Xbox or Playstation. But for a great Workout and some additional entertainment selection via Netflix streaming this is a great choice!-1 star for not having a resolution of 1080 available

Console works as expected, but the Mario Kart game that comes with it does not work. It will read, but then when you try to play it, it will say there is an error.

While this is probably considered a "cheap" and "basic" game, I actually really enjoy playing this game. Wii Play includes several mini games which can be played by yourself or with another player. The graphics are somewhat retro, and remind me of video games of the early 90's, but the game play can actually be pretty fun!My favorite game from this collection is the Tanks game. Although frustrating, it has provided hours of entertainment for myself and friends during late, lazy nights. You just play through a series of rounds, where you have to shoot enemy tanks. With each level, they get quicker, more numerous, and get better weapons.Don't expect to be blown away by these games, but if you are looking for simple games to play to kill some time with friends or family, this is a good compilation of games for that task.

This "Wii" Nunchuck is not even close to being real, it does not feel real or even ship in real packaging just in a plastic bag. Amazon needs to step in an stop customers from being frauded and having to take time out to send this garbage back.I wish I could rate them and this product lower

Purchased this as a christmas gift for my son he wanted an extra one for when his friends came over to play. Tried it out when arrived worked fine. The item arrived at a reasonable amount of time.

The nunchuck worked the first and second time but after that it quit working. The game would always stop and say that the nunchuck needed to be plugged back into the controller (it was plugged in correctly) or that the operations have stopped for whoever was using that nunchuck (didnt matter which controller it was plugged into, it NEVER worked). After a few times of this, it completely stopped working at all. I paid for a nunchuck to work 2 times. A total wase of money!!! Do NOT buy this product or you will be throwing money down the drain!

My whole family has so much fun with Wii, I think it's the best video game console ever. I just wish I noticed the little detail, that the power adapter is 110VAC only. We used it on 220VAC for almost a week, before it burned. But nothing happend to the console, I just had to get a new adapter.

I honestly only bought this game because by brother had it and we spent hours playing this one tank war game on it, besides that the other games are pretty dull and boring but if its still cheap its worth buying.

I bought the Wii for my husband and I. We are both in our 50's and not very good with your basic game controllers. I bought a PS2 a few years ago, but it is not easy to use at our age! We are not big gamers so I decided that for the winter months, the Wii would be great for us and it is the BEST game I have ever owned! It is so easy to set up and start using. Everything works as they said it would. My husband has broad shoulders and had a hard time with the size on the PS2 controller. He would be sore from only sitting and playing. We found that with the Wii, we get great exercise playing the games as well and we notice how the muscles we don't often use are given a workout! Time flies too when playing! I have searched for months for a good price on the Wii, and Amazon has EVERYONE beat with this bundle! I also got the extra controller, nunchuk and the charger that is offered as well that was rated 5 stars. I am waiting for that to arrive. Plus, I did order more games as well since we enjoy being a part of the game. Overall I give this a 5 start rating thus far. I have a logitech keyboard coming too since the Wii console also easily picked up my wireless internet and we can go online now from our living room with a nice large screen to surf the web. This was a win win for us! You can't go wrong if you are considering which console to get from the 3 main games out there. This is hands down the best deal there is out there and again, at $177.00, a real steal! You don't have to get a second controller off the bat, but Amazon had that on sale as well. Even if you are in your 50's or older, and have been thinking about getting a game console, this is your best bet. It is much more user friendly and there is not tons of buttons to figure out to play the game. It is basic and low stress! Just let the fun begin! Lastly delivery was faster than what they said it would be which was great! The games give you a quick tutorial and you can play alone or against one another quickly. The other deal I am going to get in on is Netflix downloads for the Wii. It is cheap and you can cut your cable bill down by paying only $7.99 a month to download unlimited movies to your TV. I can't WAIT to cancel some of my cable options! There won't be any discs to return unless you want the option for $1.00 more to get movies via disc. I hope this helps anyone who was undecided! You will be pleasantly surprised at how easy this is to use. Happy holidays and enjoy the Wii! Wish I got one sooner!!!!

I picked up Wii Play for five dollars at a local game store. That was a fair price, because five dollars is about all Wii Play is worth.Pros (with a few cons):Combat is back. This game would be one star material if not for its Combat clone, which is called Tanks. Unlike the hit Atari 2600 game that it emulates, this game doesn't require two people to play. In that way, it's actually better than the original.Duck Hunt is partially back in the form of Wii Play's Shooting Gallery. However, Duck Hunt was a much better game than this. You're actually shooting targets and the ducks are there for bonus points. Furthermore, the game ends far too quickly. If you want to play Duck Hunt (which is far more enjoyable than Wii Play), hunt down a NES.Cons:The pool game only has 9-ball, and it doesn't even follow the accepted rules of 9-ball.Find Mii hardly constitutes a game.Everything else.Wii Play was just a good way to get a Wii Remote when it came out, but by itself, it's potentially something you can enjoy for like ten minutes.

Wii Sports used to be included with the original Wii console, and it's a shame it's not anymore, but nonetheless, it's worth every penny. The Tennis game is the best of the lot here, but each of the sports is fun. Still one of the very best games for the Wii, and a must have if you don't already own it!
