For a young family, this is a great thing specially in the north east winter months. Lots of varieties. My son loves this. I am sure at some point he would like to go for PS3, XBox but this is the family thing.

My grandchildren got this from my wife and I for Hanukkah and they love it! It's perfect for them but for myself I like the PS3 and COD !

The nintendo wii in my opinion. The wii is a great consloe it has the virtual and overall just a great game system.Games such as skyward sword and galaxy 2 mixed with the previously mentioned virtual console makes a big library. The only reason I gave this product 4 out of 5 is because the shitty third party games.

The box itself is plenty capable. For a repackaged gamecube with suped up specs its very reliable and has some good looking games on it, nothing in the neighborhood pf a PS3 or 360 game, but pretty enough. The motion-sensing isn't amazing but it's fun and mostly functional. The problem comes in Nintendo's support of their gaming platform. Nintendo of America's president Reggie Fils-Aime has made the decision not to release three of the most anticipated Wii games (The Last Story, Xenoblade, and Pandora's Tower) in the United States. The worst part is that two of these titles are, as we speak, being translated into English for release in the European market. That means that, with localization in English already completed, it would cost Nintendo very little to bring these games to the US. They're guaranteed to make money, and yet Nintendo of America refuses to allow gamers in their territory to play these games. The games are already out in Japan, soon to be out in Europe, and never coming to the US. Even if the prospect of profitability wasn't sure, money isn't the only commodity great companies care about. Goodwill is very important. Releasing any one of these games would have gone a long way toward keeping their established rapport with longtime fans and buyers. Instead they released a statement that stacks up to "Sorry, no, but thanks for buying our crap." So, if you want to have games to play on your new gaming console, I suggest you go with another company's product. Perhaps Sony's Playstation 3 with its Move controller (which is superior to the Wii remote in motion-sensing anyway) or maybe Microsoft's Xbox360 with its Kinect wonder camera that allows you to become the controller. Microsoft's offering is especially promising as they showed tons of coming Kinect games at their E3 Gaming conference, both family games and hardcore offerings.Take it from me, if you anticipate playing games in 2011 and beyond, buy something else.

Got this game at Thankgiving for family to enjoy. Everyone played ages 3-60 and enjoyed it. Game was simple but not boring and just challenging enough so all could master levels

It's nothing like driving a car. I think that at first it makes driving on the Wii harder, but it does help once you get the hang of it.

It says in the condition new. I opened the box to find a kinda scratched wii, sticky controlers, wii sports and the cables. You owe me a new wii. Not a used one.

The Wii was interesting and got a lot of buzz when it first released, but it wasn't for hardcore gamers. It had it's time in the spotlight, but it seems like the gaming industry is moving back to the more typical route and focusing on quality games, rather than trying something new. Hopefully the Wii U will be able to blend the best of both worlds.

Very light and very cheap feeling compared to the white nunchuck. It works and thats enough. I would rather buy more white ones as they feel nicer.

Okay, I'm 33 and this is my first game console...bought it for my two daughters (4 and 2 1/2 yrs old) who were recently exposed to it at a party and danced the night away with the dancing games. While looking online, at toys r us and other shops, i was shocked at the prices...so I decided to try amazon. I purchase the bundle and waited, hoping for the best. When I received the package, it was neatly wrapped and secured. The system was easy to put up and worked flawlessly. The only thing indicating that this is not a new system was the slight cosmetic blemish...it's no longer crisp white, its a faded white. With that said, I would recommend it and I have had no problems with it.

Bought this game for g/daughter and she loves it ;persauded me to play with her and it was much fun for both of us. It is not only a fun way for both adults and children alike but it also improves your skill for bowling , tennis and the other games featured on the disk.

I purchased this Wii because the one we have already went out and I wanted one that is backwards compatible (able to play gamecube games) great gaming console especially for the little ones.
