Looking at some of the other feedback, these cables seem to be completely hit-or-miss. The one I received was a miss. When plugged in, the display was in black and white. The red video component cable was slightly bent, which may have had something to do with it, but it was clearly a manufacturing problem, not something that happened to the cable during packaging or shipment.

Bought this as a gift for my nephew. He has a Wii system and is always looking for new games. He also loves Lego's. He seems to really enjoy playing this game and was very excited to receive it.

Celebrated Christmas with grandchildren a week after Christmas. My grandson was saving his Christmas money to buy this item and was quite disappointed when we didn't sit right down and play it. Nice to see a happy face from him.

Wii U is a great system at a good price. THe innovative features are fun and add true enhancement to the experience. The community chats on games and apps is a great way to communicate with one another. The game pad is amazing. Touch controls are responsive, the layout is familiar and comfortable, the screen resolution is excellent also. Better battery life would be nice. The feature to play some game just on the pad is nice. You do need to be within a specific range of the wii u to do this. The ability to use wii remotes, etc is a smart move. I have nintendo land, mario u, zombiu, and batman. All look great. The only reason I give wii u 4 stars is because I fear it will likely not stand up to the next round by Sony and MS. It should initially show some sparks to indicate it has the superior horsepower but it shows nothing of the kind. It is right on par with current generation. Many argue it's the first round of games but still, it should be able to show more promise than this. I think Nintendo better get a hefty installment base before Sony and MS come out next. THe other things I don't like is the meager 8gb harddrive. By todays standards that is laughable. Yes, I can, and will have to get a usb drive for saves/downloads. And the lack of headset port is also not smart. Bottom line, the wii u is fun. It has great features and I have no regrets buying it. Nintendo makes the best 1st party games and ot will have some incredible gaming experiences during it's life. Just don't expect it to blow you away in the graphics department. I will say if you get it online at Walmart, it comes fast. I wish Amazon was selling it, i would've bought it from them.

My son can dominate on Lego Star Wars Complete Saga and can play Lego Indiana Jones by himself, but I guess Batman 2 is a bit too open-ended. Solving puzzles and levels is not very obvious and I have gotten stuck without a clue several times playing it. The gameplay itself is very fun, but when you can't figure out what to do next the game gets put away for a while.

This adapter cable does a fine job of converting to the right style of connector for your TV, receiver, etc. As far as picture quality, well ... if you were expecting hella-awesome graphics and picture quality then you probably shouldn't have gotten a Wii, right?

I love this product, however it is expensive. The Wii sports CD did not last long time and now does now the system does not read it. I bought a new one and again same problem. Nintendo needs to work on the CD since they are expensive and customer should not be expected to continue to pay for replacement.

Got this game for my 8 year old nephew for his birthday this year & he absolutely loves it. The game says 10+, but it's just Lego violence. No blood, no guts, no swearing, & no one even dies. If you hit a Lego enemy he just falls into his Lego pieces & disappears. If batman gets hit too many times, he falls apart & then comes right back for continuous play. My nephew loves superheroes & video games, so this was the perfect gift. Most other superhero games are rated T and full of real violence. This game has challenges you have to figure out like puzzles as you go along & is lots of fun. Definitely recommended. (Oh, and my 40 year old fiancé loves this game too.)

I loved the Wii when it came out. That was because I was 8 and it was the only game system I had ever seen besides Playstation 2. Now I am older and own almost every major system. The Wii has a lot of good games... but something is missing. Not very many games are coming out. Nintendo has released game after game, but that is happening way too slow. I don't blame Nintendo at this point. They are busy trying to get 3DS sales up and are preparing to launch the brand new Wii-u console. But the system has been around for 5 years, so you would think that it would a lot of variety. No. The Gamecube went perfect for me. Every Nintendo game was innovated and put to the maximum. The Wii? Well, Mario got innovated but the rest of the franchises I loved seemed to die here. No Starfox, The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess was kind of boring and did not really impress me the way Wind Waker did, and I have yet to see a Yoshi Island, Final Fantasy, or Pikmin game (besides the Gamecube port). Soon I find that all I use my Wii for is the handy Virtual Console service so I can play old classics. Then I bought a NES, SNES, N64, and Genesis. Now what? It only gets played by my brother, who is only 9. I play it when people come over, but that is about it. It has a lot of good things as well. The motion control is awesome. It is much better then Kinect. A lot of games can give you a good workout. It is built like a rock, mine has survived 5 years and still works. The virtual console service is the best part. Download all the classics and play them like it is still the middle of the 1990s. The graphics aren't the best, but who cares? While the Wii has provided fun, it is becoming a little old and you might as well wait for the new Wii-u. The Gamecube is far better and cheaper, it was about 20-50 dollars for everything I needed. The Playstation 3 feels more modern and neater if you are willing to spend more cash. I have loved every Nintendo system, but I can not help but feel dissapointed on this one.

I owned this console before but when I moved I had to leave it behind. I kept some of my games and the Wii Fit so I just needed the console again. I like that the Wii Sports and Wii Resort Sports are now on the same disc. Quite often when you have friends over they want to flip between the two so that's one less switch you have to mess with. I really like the black finish and it looks so good with all the rest of my entertainment center accessories. It is unfortunate this set only comes with enough controllers for one person. So I did still have to go out and buy another nunchuck and controller for at least one other person to compete with me.I have wireless internet and have been able to connect with Hulu Plus and Netflix. Both of those apps have limited streaming in comparison to their standard internet versions but it's still nice to get that all coming through my new flatscreen TV! The only disappointment is the console does not read regular movie DVD's. So when I want to watch a movie I have to set up my laptop to the side, connected to my TV through the HDMI cable. Why not play it through the DVD player I already have? Well because my stuff is older and the connections the DVD player needs for the TV are all being used by the Wii console. I make it work for me but I thought I'd share my plight. Maybe someone DOES know of a way I can play my DVD's through the console. Please share!I'm very happy with this purchase and enjoy all the good times it provides my friends and I. Cheers!

Lovin’ my Wii !! Hope they pump out better games for it. Standing your system on it’s side can make it more apt to disc scratching.

I wasn't sure how good the wii was going to be at the price I got it at but it came out amazing and I couldn't be happier with my purchase! Came in the mail pretty fast and it looks great and works great!!

Wii is great fun for all ages. It is everything you expect it to be. First time user at 43 and love it. Games are easy to understand n use for my 5 year old as well.

It works, but I don't notice a real difference between this and a composite video cable. I tested using Zelda: Twilight princess, so maybe a newer game would benefit.
Overall it is cheap (1 star) is works (1 star) and it was shipped prime (1 star). Unfortunately no difference (-1 star) and it isn't braided or anything special (-1 star).

I'll get to the main things I'm sure people want to know: There's no game cube controller ports, and apparently no compatibility with certain dance game accessories (since there's no ports).
I never owned a gamecube, so since I have no gamecube games/controllers to start with, and I'm not a big fan of those dancing games, this doesn't bother me in any way whatsoever.
I'm really happy with the wii. It's super fun and I love the bright color! I was trying to be a cheap-o at first and went through two "refurbished" wiis from Gamestop, both of which I had to take back because they didn't work. Finally just broke down and bought a brand new one and I don't regret it for a second! No problems at all.
I did, however, find it a little odd that this seller shipped it in a Skylanders Giants bundle box. If I had been planning to give this as a gift, I would have felt like I was playing a messed up trick on the person by giving them a Skylanders box with no Skylanders stuff in it.

The only thing I cannot comment on is the potential longevity of this cable, since I am writing this review the same night I have started using it. THIS. CABLE. IS. AMAZING. SOOOOO MUCH BETTER!!! WOW!! INCREDIBLE! Night and day difference. And only $5! I am not sure if the official Nintendo cables are worth the extra $45 or not...but there really is nothing wrong with my picture now and I can't see it getting any better!
