THIS IS NOT GOING TO BE A REGULAR KIND OF REVIEW. YOU SEE, THERE IS PROS AND CONS TO EVERYTHING. A PRO FOR ONE PERSON IS A CON FOR ANOTHER. I BOUGHT THIS NIKON WITH THE 16-85MM LENS AND ALL I WILL SAY IS THAT THIS IS THE BEST CAMERA I HAVE EVER OWNED AND EVER WILL OWN. I AM 66 YEARS OLD; BEEN DOING PHOTOGRAPHY FOR FIFTY YEARS AND THIS WILL BE THE LAST CAMERA THAT I WILL EVER NEED. IF YOU WANT THE BEST, BUY THIS CAMERA. BY THE WAY, I AM USING ISO SPEEDS BETWEEN 100-6400 AUTO, AND GETTING GREAT RESULTS.RICHARD M. SELTZER

Performing as expected so far. I upgraded from a digital point and shoot. I used to use an SLR film camera and finally decided it was time to get a digital SLR. So far so good, I'm still learning the ropes on this camera. The HD video is great from fixed recording, it will be awkward to use this while moving around.

Love it!Sharp pictures with great tracking system for moving subjects. Not too heavy and feels right in hands. Will buy Nikon again

This camera has lived up to its predespr the d7000 and has even improved slightly. The focus is fast and the 51 auto focus points pretty much almost garentee a clear shot. The noise performance is stupendous as always. The sharpness of the images are outstanding. Buy this camera!

This was my replacement for a 10 year old Nikon D40x which was my replacement for a 10 year old Pentax P30T, both of which I adore. It seems the camera gods are with me again and there is a lot to learn with the extra features I now have but I adore this camera already. Here's to another happy 10 years.

Upgrading from my old tank D7000 to such a great camera. This camera works perfectly regarding focusing in a very bad light conditions. The 24 MP captures a lot of details. I enjoyed too much the 1.3x extra cropping option (works as a digital zoom actually).Waiting for a firmware upgrade to fix some - minor - issuesThis is an amazing camera!I do recommend it for users who want to upgrade from D90, D7000, ...etc

Even though this is not a full frame camera, I really love everything it does. Easy to navigate menu, all the most often needed options are at your fingertips, and much larger screen than my last digital body. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!

I am still learning but very nice pictures so far. Lens are OK, and I just receive my ring flash to use with it.Let's see if my pictures will improve with this new fancy camera !

Nikon D7100 is great camera from Nikon, DX-format, its a nice upgrade if you are on D90, D80, D700, I upgrade from D90 and can use all my lenses such as 35m 1.8, and Nikon 18-300m. sample photos on my blog: http://ahradwani.com

i received the D7100 less than a week ago and everything is perfect. A great upgrade to a D3X00 or D5X00. sharp as a needle. quick aufo focus and overall amazing. i cannot even put down in words how great of a camera this is. absolutely suberb performance. its lightweight, sturdy, has the latest innovations in technology. i would recommend to anyone and everyone wanting a more professional DX body nikon. bottom line. nikon has outdone themselves.

I had a D 3000 before this camera, and I didn't expect to be such an increase in the quality of my pictures, silly me, the quality of the photos with the D 7100 are beautiful. I still have a lot to learn to make the camera really work for me.

I'm upgraded from the d3100 to the d7100, the d3100 is a great starter DSLR camera.So, I'm still learning all the function and features on the d7100 and I'm really looking forward to this journey.

so far I ve shoot a few hundred shoots and the picture quality is so good It is hard to believe, my only problem is that I use photoshop and its so new its not supported yet but i'm sure they will get around to including it in their lens profile , heck yes by all means skip the d600 I tried both this works better Royce

but not my favorite apsc dslr. I was a little surprised at the noise on some of the images even at iso 1600. My old K-5 (not the II or IIs version) did much better in similar lighting conditions. That said the Nikon has a lot of features and is a good value. I was expecting a cheaper version of my d600, but this camera is not that.

Before I had an old D80. I got the D7100 is so happy! I prefer the "Scene Modes" feature better than D80, It's Great camera!

Worthwile upgrade from the D7000. I'm mostly an outdoor photographer, and the focus is great. Don't use much high ISO, but the noise is more than acceptable.

I love this camera. It is the best dx format DSLR around. It is filled with many features and the pictures are great.i upgraded from the D80 and Nikon hit it out of the park with the D7100.
