Nikon D5200 24.1MP Digital SLR Camera is very well make and the image its product better too. The color and tone is perfect and high MP is good enough for any publication or advertising project. I highly recommended to pick up grip for the camera for people who have a big hand. Video with continue autofocus with the Nikon lens is better than ever. You will not be disappointed.

Hi everyone, I just picked up this camera from Costco on Tuesday. They had it in a bundle for $1050.00 until April 27th. It included the body(obviously), both 18-55 and 55-300mm lens, the wifi adapter, Nikon bag, and 16 mg memory card. This is our first DSLR and everyone we talk to tells us how great of a deal it is so we just wanted to share it with everyone.

Don't forget to get a remote control. I had the opportunity to take pictures of the planetary alignment on May 24th. The picture came out great. It is lightweight and the grip is strong.

Combined with my Nikor lense, the VRII 18 - 200 mm, I am excited about the picture quality.5 frames a second is nice feature and it has an easy to use menu too.

The D5100 was a big improvement over the D5000. The D5200 is only a minor enhancement over the D5100, but at a much higher price. More AF points is an interesting change for some types of photos. More MP is rarely useful at this level. Stero mic on the camera isn't really important; use an external microphone if you care about sound quality. If you're thinking about a D5200, do yourself a favor and look at the Nikon D5100 also. You might find one for half the price (especially Nikon factory refurbished) and not notice any performance difference.

I only had this camera for a short time (had to get the D7100 for its' more advanced features). But I felt it's metering was very good, the AF system offered much more flexibility than the D3200 I had been using and the 24mp was useful to me, allowing some cropping flexibility in post, if I needed it. I also liked how light it was - very convenient for day hikes.

I have been taking pictures for a while. I find this camera faster than may old D3100: it focus faster. I have been having sharper pictures. It also takes more pictures one after the other faster and with better quality.I feel my photos are with better colors and sharpness. Has also nice effects like keeping one subject in color and rest in black and white. I will test other features like filming and then report later. So far, I think it was worth the extra money from D3100.

Now I get better autofocus system, and more control (low, medium, high...) on D-lighting, ISO, noise reduction, plus I get HDR (High dynamic range),build in Interval timer shooting (no need extra accesories!!) Improved video quality, stereo mic and I can move the monitor screen to get very slow,high or hard to get angles.All other things are basically a D3200

I love everything about this camera. I had been learning about photography for only 6 months with a Canon and was very scared to try a Nikon because they just seem too complex. After spending a little time with my new Nikon D5200, it was easy to learn and operate. I have been shooting in raw and the pictures are just crystal clear. It has so many features that I can't wait to explore. It is lightweight and the red color is beautiful. The software is also easy to use.

Wow! there is nothing this camera won't do. What makes it so nice is how intuitive it is. The learning curve was very short but most important, I have never had my photos come out so good. Every day I learn more about the camera and every day my photography gets better.

I love the camera, takes great, clear pictures. The package came without any damage to the contents within. I have not had much time to reeally get deep into the camera and try out all of its features, but the camera is very simple to use. I recommend this camera for anyone who is wanting to upgrade from the traditional point and shoot cameras.

I am a novice when it comes to cameras and I really am trying to learn, I picked this camera because it was red. I have taken a lot of pictures since I bought the D5200 and I was amazed at how nice they turned out. I have recommended this camera to others.

24mega pixels gives a lot more color depth and little less noise than the canon 650D (t4i). the 18-105mm lens gives it a lot more value over the 18-55mm.

Read reviews for months before was available in the US. Worried about overseas suppliers. The camera is easy to use & takes great pics right out of the box. Can also use all my old Nikkor lenses - a bonus for sure

Great camera. First available in amazon.com received 18/01/2013 with prime while in stores is available from 10/02/2013. Nice packaging.Battery is empty. So you have to wait before try the camera.The camera is not beautiful. But feels solid and is nice to handle.
