Arrived very quickly and was well packaged. Smaller than I was expecting, but then it's easier to hide at the back of the TV.
Led is bright but it is at the back of the unit. Bought it because my TV has no audio out. Only the digital optical output. It works fine and I'm very pleased with the quality of the product. Sounds good and suits my lack of hearing. I can now hear the TV well without having to turn it up too high and have the wife complaining.

Great for PC
Been using this for a while now, purchased it for use with a desktop computer that was having some audio interference from graphics card. Does a great job of cleaning your sound up, I had almost forgotten what a silent background sounds like when wearing headphones.
At one point I was having some issues with the sound quality but I soon realised I had been placing my phone a bit too close to the unit on my desk. No problems since, highly recommend

Great value and quality
I tried two other digital to analog converter and one of them was quite expensive too but I wasn't happy with the sound quality. I am much happier, both with the price and the sound quality of this product.

Gets the job done: connecting PS4 Pro audio to external speaker
I bought this item to convert the SPDIF signal from PS4 Pro to analog so that I can use my speakers. It worked perfectly. The metal finish of this item also makes it pleasing to be put along side other home entertainment gadgets. I do not hear noticeable sound degradation as of yet.

A remarkable little DAC
A remarkably good little DAC for little money. Although meant for headphones I use it as a DAC between my CD player and pre-amp because of space contraints - but very few low priced 192kHz DACs actually deliver a decent sound and this one does. Highly recommended!!

Easy peasy
This item was delivered a day before estimated delivery. It was easy to install, and definitely was the perfect thing to convert digital sound from our new smart TV to our analogue amplifier. The only difficult thing was finding the sound settings on the TV and add the amplifier. My advice is to select the option of “internal speakers and digital audio” but turn the sound down on the TV remote control. So overall extremely pleased with this neoteck box, well worth the money.

Great DAC!
Fast delivey and a great product, does exactly what it says. I have a Samsung TV without rca audio output and i wanted to connect it to my stereo amplifier, just connected the optical cable from tv to the DAC, the rca cable from DAC to the amplifier and the usb cable to power it and immediately the sound was being reproduced to my stereo speakers with great quality. The build quality is also great, so i highly recommend it.

Ideal to use with PS4 and PC monitor (with no speakers)
Easy set up. Works a treat and resolved the issue I had with the Playstation 4 + PC monitor. The PS4 does not have a headphone socket out to go to external speakers only an optical out. That is fine If you want to use a soundbar with an optical in but due to limitations of space and cost effectiveness I wanted another solution. Seems well made and charges via one of the PS4 USB ports so ideal for me

Eliminated audio interference from my sound card
After getting a new graphics card I started to get a lot of interference in my sound card which translated as buzzing in my headset whenever my graphics card was under load. Decided to try out this DAC as it has an optical input in the back so I hooked it up to my sound card and it completely fixed the buzzing in my expensive headphones. Might be confirmation bias but it feels like the audio quality is better too. Would reccomend!

Well made - does the job.
Like most customers, we bought this to connect the digital-only audio out from our new television to a stereo amplifier to listen to the TV through decent speakers. I suspect that, as far as the conversion electronics goes, there's not a lot to choose between the various devices on the market. However, this unit is very well made, with an all metal case and a smooth output-level control - and the headphone socket is useful for late-night viewing without disturbing the natives.

Perfect, simple solution
Output from my Macbook's mini-jack was hissy when amplified. Since the analogue output doubles as an optical output, I decided to try putting a low-cost DAC between the Macbook and amplifier. This unit does the trick, I now get exactly the signal I want - no noise, no hiss, no crackles. A perfect solution for a low cost.

I bought this to use my headphones with my TV as it only has an optical output and it works brilliantly.
For those who are having problems with buzzing :
If you have a spare USB hub you can plug it into try that instead. I plugged mine into the TV's USB slot at first and the buzzing was terrible, then i tried it in a USB hub and all of a sudden it worked perfectly with zero buzzing.

A bit of a quality issue.
Delivery was fine but the first one was faulty with the right RCA phono channel not working at all. The replacement is fine and the sound quality excellent. Why did the first one pass the quality check???

Sorted my Headphone problem.
I bought one of these without volume control and the optical sound was quiet, so opted to try this one with volume control and its made all the difference, I use it to connect wired and wireless Headphones at the same time to my Samsung QLED TV, I am able to set the volume for wired Headphones on the converter and use the volume control on my wireless Headphones as they produce a higher volume.

Very useful piece of good quality equipment
Feels very solid, which is reassuring. I am using it with headphones without a volume control, it is a brilliant bit of kit does a fantastic job, no distortion to the sound or sounds that shouldn't be there. Glad I took notice of some other reviews that said it was worth paying the extra, fully agree with those. straight out of the box plugged in and it worked

but it is perfect as far as I can tell
I bought it because my new TV only has digital audio outputs and I need an analogue signal. It does the job perfectly. Only way it could be improved would be if the volume could be controlled remotely via an app or something.
I'm not an audio buff so I don't know whether this gives the highest quality sound, but it is perfect as far as I can tell.

Robust unit which appears to do the job. No feedback or hum which was my biggest fear. Optical TOSlink cable of poor quality, therefore, I recommend the purchase of a separate item.

Neat little gadget that does the job I needed it to do. The inclusion of an optical lead and a usb lead is a nice touch. Had it working in minutes.

Almost perfect
Works great. Just plugged it in and I had sound. Gave 4 stars because it rattles as if something is loose inside. Thought I would have to return but no it functions perfectly.

Would not recommend, however customer service is excellent so buy with confidence. Hence rating !
Has a constant faint crackle in the background regardless of digital source used. May be faulty haven’t had the time yet to follow up,

Neat little product.
It does the job of converting my TV digital audio output the the analogue input to my amplifier. The volume control allows me to set the level to suit the overall system. The USB power supply works well from the USB port on the back of my TV. A good example of a neat little product to solve a problem.

Top Quality Manufacture and Performance
Delivered very quickly upon receipt of order. Well made, and complete with all cables needed, installation is very simple. What joy to find sound quality pure; no trace of hum, and very good volume level. It's a pity that TV manufacturers choose to ignore the many with perfectly good old Hi-Fi amplifiers, but this product fulfills that need beautifully. Totally delighted - thank you so much.
