Board has 2 NVMe M.2 slots with aluminum heat shield/cooler. It comes with a PCIE card that supports more M.2 NVMe storage. Also comes with 10GBe network card and 2x1GBe on board NICs. Haven't had any issues with the boards I got so far, it was a little tricky setting up the NVMe M.2 into a mirrored RAID array (RAID1), as it is a multi-step process and the manual doesn't quite step you through the process, but that is pretty typical with all motherboard manuals, so no dings there. Supports MSIs "mystic light" so you can control all your RGB lights to give the effect you want. Not much else to say, it just works.

The following problem listed in my first review is caused by PSU that I purchased.
A small design can make it hard to use this motherboard. Two CPU pins are too close in the motherboard.

Here is the problem with this motherboard.

Problem 1: after setting up BIOS and reboot after saving, the motherboard directly power off
Problem 2: directly rebooting the machine, the motherboard power off
Problem 3: cannot recognize ssd harddrive.
Problem 4: sometimes, the motherboard won't power up after error code 51

I bought this motherboard to build a high-performance build system for Linux operating system stack. I equipped it with an ADM Ryzen Threadripper 3990X, 128 GB RAM (1 GB per thread), 2 2 TB NVMe drives and an AMD Radeo 5600XT based graphics adapter. The graphics adapter might be an overkill since I typically don't play any 3D games on this system.
I am very pleased with this motherboard. The construction is excellent and well though out. It is a very robust and solid board. Besides the 2 M.2 lots for NVMe drives on the board it ships with an adapter that lets you add another two drives (at the expense of a PCIe slot). It has 2 1 1000BaseT Ethernet ports on the board but a 10GBaseT adapter is also included. That is excellent. It does not have WiFi built-in like its sibling board but I don't need WiFi for this system.
Assembly is simple. All the connectors are placed in the correct locations for optimal cable routing. It makes for a very clean system if you are using a case with a glass panel. It does have connectors for LEDs etc if that is what you are looking for (the connectors support LED control schemes from different vendors including MSI's own).
If you are looking for a great TRX40 motherboard this is it, in my opinion.

I looked at all of the ATX sized TRX40 boards, and this had all the features I wanted.
In particular, its qualified memory list was more extensive than the others, making
it easier to pick the RAM I wanted. (I went with HyperX Fury 64GB 3200MHz DDR4
CL16 DIMM (Kit of 4) RGB XMP Desktop Memory HX432C16FB3AK4/64).
This combination gives a rock solid 3200/cl16 in its first profile, and is expandable
to 128GB. I'm running Windows 10 and Fedora 31 with no issues. I have
an EVGA AIO water cooler, with idle temps in the 40's.

Pros:
- The m.2 expansion card is a nice bonus, with 4 slots under a massive heatsink.
- rock solid operation, with a comprehensive set of BIOS options.

Cons:
- No RGB leds on the board, but there are three different types of RGB headers
(RGB, Corsair, and Rainbow). None of these currently have Linux drivers,
although they seem to keep their settings if setup under windows.
(I have OpenRGB for the DRAMS, and cooler, which are good enough for me.)

Overall, I'm very happy with this build. The 3970x's 32 cores are awesome.

I would give it 4.75 stars if I could.

The first one was broken in two because of the deficient packaging and this one had residue in the CPU socket pins that prevented from booting but could have totally fried my threadripper!!!! Never buying MSI again! I bought both asus and gigabyte and those worked without a hitch! So keep away from MSI!

Setup went perfect no problems. Using the 3970x, CMW128GX4M8C3000C16 ram, Enermax 360 cooler. Everything programs runs drastically faster then my 2990wx machine. Terragen, Vray/3dsMax, Cinebench.

I like the motherboard, my only gripe at a $500 pricepoint is the 2 onboard M.2 SSD slots. It comes with an expander module which can house more, but my mid size tower is crammed with enough hardware, the last thing I need is to stuff another part inside of it. Good motherboard, just wish it was cheaper. Updating the Bios is very easy, go to the AMD website, download the firmware onto a USB and plug that in to your PC to update.

First of all, the listing is wrong. This is not a "dual 10G LAN" board. It has two onboard ONE gigabit ports and comes packaged with a 10GBase-T PCI-E card.

I was impressed by the build quality (this board comes with the chonkiest M.2 adapter I have ever laid eyes on), but on powering the device on, it only detected one of my four DIMMS (after some time, it started seeing two -- not a good sign). I thought to update the firmware, and during the update the motherboard bricked itself. I ended up replacing with a competitor's part.

A motherboard that is capable of bricking during a firmware update here in the year 2020 must have a fundamentally flawed design. Stay away.

If you need a simple (take that with a grain of salt) board that boots fast and runs your latest Threadripper build, give this one a look. It may not have all the added on features, bells and whistles as a high end enthusiast gamer board, but it will fit into a midi tower (ATX), doesn't take so long to boot because of all the added features and chips, and will still provide all the performance that comes with the latest Threadripper platform. The board is well configured, no shenanigans to provide more power to CPU to make the board appear faster in benchmarks but causing issues with stability. I would have like a couple more USB ports, but the number is (just about) sufficient for my needs. I can always use external hub or add a PCI card.

This is an ill-conceived and developed motherboard. #1: Missing hardware. The hardware necessary to install this board and its accessories were missing. I had to use my own hardware to install this board. #2: The M2 sockets, which came with heatsinks were a joke as their height did NOT allow me to properly seat my GPU. and #3: Once installed, the motherboard displayed a D0-CPU initialization error. The motherboard would not boot. This board is not worth the time and money. Moreover, when I notified Amazon, I chose to have the board picked up at my residence. It never happened. I ended up taking the board to UPS who said they never received the pick-up order from Amazon so I had to return the board at my expense.

When I went online to Amazon support I spend over 30 minutes explaining, and re-explaining to 4-5 different individuals the issues I had returning the board. They could not answer any of my queries so they finally took my number and I received a call from an Amazon agent. She was the only one who understood what had happened and was able to locate the package in transit where the initial online individuals could not. It's disturbing the low level of knowledge of online support from Amazon.

Do not buy this motherboard under any conditions! I have tried to use it for my DAW software, and it is unuseable due to the extraneous noise it generates. I have left emails for their tech support which have gone unanswered for 2 months, I have contacted their Customer Support as well, again no answer from anyone.

Details: I wanted to use this setup for my music software, with 128GB of memory, 2 m.2 drives in raid 0, pretty much the best of everything went into this set up. Unfortionately the system generates a random noise which almost sounds like a hard drive, but in this case there is no hard drive, only the 2 m.2 drives. It makes the system unuseable. I habve updated all rhe drivers to the latest from their website, and still no change. As noted above the support from MSI is non-existant, and unfortunately I am past the 30 day return policy. MSI is not responding, so I can't return it to them, nor get it repaired (if that is even possible).

Stay away from MSI! You have been warned.

No RGB bling bling, only the digital LED status indicators. Everything was right about the design, and quality. I did have some trouble with getting Linux installed. I wound up disabling UEFI and using CPS boot, which allowed the actual Linux install to go through. Very odd that Live Boot from USB worked, but actual but from NVMe or Spinning DIsk after install wasn't working with EUFI. Other than that, board performs extremely well, and I'll attribute the issue to this being relatively new, and Linux not having quite caught up.

Running 32 cores, 6x 1TB PCIE Sabrent in RAID 0 (other 4 are in ASUS Hyper M2), 5700XT. This thing is unstoppable. Haven't reached 50% CPU utilization in 2 months I had it. Plus it's super stable running W10.

Спасибо ДНС за хорошую цену и гарантию. мат плата стоит своих денег, вижу что 12400ф идеально под эту мат плату) Приложил тесты памяти, так же есть датчик ВРМ зоны в HWMonitor можно смотреть)

Покупал для i3-12100 (кулер Deepcool Gamma Archer Big Pro), и выбор порадовал. Оперативка 2х8Gb DDR4-3200 XPG Gammix D10, SSD NVMe SP 256Gb + HDD WD Blue 1Tb, RTX 3060, всё это в компактном белом корпусе Aerocool CS-109 c питальником Deepcool DE 600 450W. 3 тихих 120-мм 3-пиновых корпусных вертушки Deepcool.

Отсутствие радиаторов на VRM к минусам не отношу. На 12400 в стресс тесте VRM той же температуры что и проц, максимум 55 градусов. На плате при этом датчик отображает стабильные 36-39. Но так как под радиаторы всё таки заботливо подготовили отверстия, решил их докупить просто потому что нашёл. На какой-нибудь i3 оно нафиг не нужно.

В укороченый корпус залетела аж бегом, ещё место под диски осталось.

В целом, MSI PRO H610M-E DDR4 - это достойная материнская плата для сборки бюджетного и среднего уровня. Если вы не нуждаетесь в излишестве функционала и ищете надежную платформу для своего компьютера, эта модель однозначно стоит внимания.

Первый блин комом,купил первый раз материнку в днс и пришел "кирпич",вообще питание не шло+серийник на коробке не бился с платой,объяснили,что на складах могли перепутать,они меняют на рускоязычную макулатуру вкладыши. И чек электронный до меня не дошел до сих пор,ну да ладно,в поддержке сказали это все норм и на гарантию не влияет,сотрудник магазина предложил обмен(но ждать из Москвы),но я на свой грех оставил её и потом ждал 20 дней проверки качества на нервах,что с ней,лиж бы на меня не повесили(уж больно много отзывов-),еще этот серийный номер не давал мне покоя. + проц тоже был куплен и на такойже гарантии 7 дней,пришлось его на независимую экспертизу отдать за 4к. В общем решилось положительно и там и там,а затраты компенсировались снижением стоимости на плату в днс. Другой бы сказал,что ни за что здесь не куплю,но я наоборот,считаю,что в другом месте можно похлеще обжечься. Имхо

Данная материнская плата обошлась мне в довольно кругленькую сумму, поэтому я при написании отзыва скажу все как есть. На самом деле на стоит своих денег. Тут есть встроенный WIFI 6 и аудиокарта, беспроводными сетями я хоть и нечасто, но пользуюсь, а аудиокарта хоть и многим не нужна, но все-таки уж если что случится у вас есть встроенная - это очень круто.

Также Z чипсет позволяет разогнать процессор и оперативку то есть вообще все что можно разогнать тут разгоняется, что тоже я считаю очевидным плюсом, ибо если вы не экономите на материнской плате, то должны получить максимальное количество удобств и благ, а чипсет для некоторых основная фишка при выборе материнки. Также хотелось выразить респект производителю и тем кто создает дизайн и тем кто собирает и упаковывает товары.

У MSI всегда очень приятный дизайн, который даже чем-то выделяется из других, а также очень качественная упаковка и сборка - все компоненты матринской платы прочные, а конструкция очень надежна. Это не описать словами, но скорее всего вы поймете о чем я говорил когда увидите товар вживую

С момента пользования по сей день msi не выпустила патч по исправлению данного бага со звуком. Судя по информации в сети, проблемма имеет масовый характер именно на матерях msi. Проблему решил покупкой внешней usb звуковухи от ugreen. Проверял, звук появляется при откате на прошивку A0, но обновился до последней, т.к. функционал и стабильность важнее интегрированной звуковой карты.

Массово у людей у кого звук отказывает, у кого просто индикатор vga горит и материнка не стартует - все эти неисправности из за отвала чипсета, так и с моим ПК случилось - просто в одно прекрасное утро перестал включаться - прошло именно 2 года гарантии и все, не советую к покупке именно эту модель - производственный брак.

Сборка стала 12100F + 16 GB оперативки, со ыторой или третьей перезагрузки частоты встали 3200. До этого был ксеон 2640v3, Танчики грузятся быстрее, замеченный плюс. если изначально взять чистую установку винды то проблем не было бы, а так немного поплясал, со старой сборки взял М2 винт, с установленной виндой и пробовал с него запуститься, помогло тока переход с UEFIf на cms, тогда появилась возможность запуститься с диска. в Биосе данной матери есть прикольная функция для быстрой загрузки, когда отключается периферия, и в биос после этого не попадешь, пришлось сбрасывать настройки, замыкая перемычку. Но повторюсь если ставить с нуля , то проблем нет. В конечном итого переустановил винду. Нюанс был, на планке оперативки не было XMP, биос ее видит, но в "работу" брать наверно не хотел, Аида видит, cpu-z видит , а винда нет, надо в биосе отлючать эту функцию наверно, но была другая планка, поменял и все полетело.

У материнки произошло замыкание цепей USB портов, комп банально не включался, сдали сразу на диагностику в днс. После диагностики сказали, что вообще поврежден чипсет. Несмотря на то, что установка проходила максимально аккуратно, он каким-то образом повредился. Естественно, проверить, было ли повреждение до эксплуатации или после, уже никто не сможет. Ну как говорится скупой платит дважды, пришло отдать деньги за сломанную плату, за мастера, который диагностировал проблемы, и за новую материнку. Брать не советую как минимум по тому, что материнка была ужасно упакована, что неудивительно, если при транспортировке у вас отлетит чипсет или еще что-то, а вы заметите это только во время установки, ну а в днс вас благополучно развернут

Для покупки по акции отличный вариант. Работает с 12400 f и 5060ti, полет нормальный. Если собираетесь платить полную стоимость то читайте внимательно характеристики и смотрите количество разъемов под кулера либо потом придется мудрить с переходниками.

Собрал ее в сборке с i3-13100F и GTX 1660 Ti, все летает

Учитывая что собирался системник на работу, да и впервые своими руками опыт успешный и положительный. Если бы пришлось собирать повторно однозначно выбор был бы ddr4, тк позволило бы сэкономить пару тысяч

Сугубо офисная материнка

Хорошая материнка за свою цену. К сожалению совсем без минусов данная модель не обошлась.

Может не любит старые amd видюхи. Пока что мучается с помойной 465, в конце месяца куплю что получше.

Бралась для работы с 12100f. Позже в нее залетел 12400f. переживал, что для i5 будет маловато питания, но на удивление все заработало без вопросов. Камень в синтетике выдает свои заявленные попугаи. Работает нон-стоп уже полгода в домашнем сервере, нареканий никаких.

Собрал на этой мат. плате ПК- биос не загружается с двумя планками оперативной памяти, комп стартует, но ошибка DRAM (память отсутствует или повреждена), если оставить одну планку памяти, только во 2-м слоте, биос загружается, ОС установилась, при обращении в Сервис-центр сказали механическое повреждение сокета мат. платы - погнуты ножки, по гарантии вернуть/обменять нельзя, ремонт не предложили, осмотрев плату дома, аккуратно вернул две ножки в начальное положение, благо оказались не сильно погнуты, но, к сожалению, это не принесло результатов, с двумя планками оперативки биос так не грузится. В сокет ничего не ронял, проц ставил очень аккуратно, толи брак заводской, толи плату до меня кто-то уже устанавливал и погнул ножки мат. платы. Смутило, что на коробке отсутствовали заводские пломбы, консультант объяснил, что и не должно было быть пломбы, что их сейчас не ставят (сомнительно если честно, на других комплектующих они были). ДНС в этот раз разочаровал... Обязательно осматривайте плату при получении, я допустил ошибку - не посмотрел при выдаче, цена ошибки 9 т.р.
