В B450 игровой плюс материнская плата-это все, что вы могли попросить в материнской плате, очень простой в использовании BIOS и выглядит действительно хорошим играм моя сборка так что вполне рекомендую это для любого ПК геймера, который строит ПК

Одна из лучших досок B450!

Большое обновление от доски B350, снова пошел с MSI из-за предыдущих проблем. Легкая установка, желаем порт USB 3.0 был рядом с разъемами SATA. Ну да ладно довольны. ОС до 4.1 на Ryzen 2600x на 1.38 V, никаких жалоб от меня. Сделать это, даже не думай об этом дважды.

Кнопку Flash BIOS был палочкой-выручалочкой.

Я купил это для Р5 3600, и перепрошивки БИОСа без процессора так тупо просто. Все, что вам сделать, это положить флешку с BIOS в правильном USB-порт, подключи в ЦП 8-контактный и мобо 24-пин-код и нажать на кнопку вспышки. Это так просто

Не специальной доске. ОК Джинн дал мне ниже в Cinebench результат. Не один из моих палочек ОЗУ в течение 2 дней после бесчисленных пересев и сбрасывает Комсы тратить лишние деньги и просто получить X плата для оверклокинга

Работал прямо из коробки

Флэшбэк работал, водители работали, абсолютно никаких проблем, они даже дали мне немного отвертку и Винт М.2 слот. После обновления все просто быстрее в плане игр, очень хорошая материнская плата, никаких нареканий.

Стоит своих денег.

Прикосновение фанки сначала, но побежал Дзен 2 из коробки. Стабильный. Хорошо для моей ОС 4,3 на все ядра моего r3600 Р95 стабильный. 16 гигов 3200 Корсар. Евга СК 980ti oC и еще дальше. Хороший совет. Бы второй сокет м2.

Я не думаю, что это вписывается в мою модель до середины башни, но я ошибался.
и заметьте, мой задний 120мм вентилятор с о gap 100миль от моей большой радиатор. Я думаю, что процессор будет такой.

дешевые b450, но..

много синий экран, переустанавливал много окон раз не повезло после включения HD аудио и XMP. использовать же памяти gskill 2800 и AMD 2600 на два b450 WiFi он работал нормально, а также с ASUS Стрикс b450.

Супер легкий драм строить. Прошло 2 часа с распаковкой случае к загрузке Win10. Прошить биос был простой, простота установки 2600+память DDR4 3200 (Корсар мести). Именно то, что я искал

Просто было несколько дней, но хорошо работает. Бежит мой GSkill RipJaws на 3200 через профиль XMP 2 без каких-либо проблем. Много вентиляторов.

Custom build a 4K video production/gaming computer

My husband and I built a custom computer for me to use instead of buying one that was overpriced and limits my options (like an IMac, MacBook or out-the-box PC Gaming station). It turned out amazing!!!!! I teach ESL utilizing a program called ManyCam that is very CPU heavy and slowed down the original computer I was using. Also, trying to edit video I’m Adobe Premiere was a terrible experience. Now I can run the ManyCam program flawlessly without lag or freezing and also edit 4K video in Adobe Premiere. Entire computer build was less than $800!

NO Display - FIXED

Motherboard doesnt give out any display. It powers on perfectly, PSU CPU GPU and FANS all work but when i plug into monitor, theres no display. Ill fix rating if i can get help on this

UPDATE: If you're going to use a 3000 Series AMD Cpu youll still have to BIOS FLASH the motherboard in order to get an image. Even though it says RYZEN 3000 ready, it isnt until you FLASH the Bios. This is pretty simple. Search up motherboard name (mine MSI B-450 A PRO MAX) BIOS update. Download it into a USB of at least 1 GB but id recommend an 8GB USB if you're going to install windows as well. Extract the file after you download it and name it "MSI.ROM". Turn off pc. Plug usb into the USB port closest to the BIOS FLASH button and then click the FLASH button. The process will take around 5 minutes. Dont cut the power. The pc will turn off by itself. After that. TA-DAH! PC 3000 series ready :) save yourself the time I did and good luck on your Build!

Absolutely no documentation

I've been building my own computers for decades now. Historically, motherboards came with documentation that explained the important things. Things like the aux power connector or how to properly orient the ram. WTF MSI? I was on the verge of returning this because the documentation was so woefully inadequate. Mechanically, it's probably pretty solid, but jesus christ, the documentation is piss poor.

Rock solid board at a great price

I was looking for a reasonably priced board as for a productivity/light gaming/light media creation build. I was biased toward Gigabyte from my last two builds, but their boards were expensive relative to features. After researching, I decided to try the MSI B450-A Pro Max, even though my only previous experience with MSI was a bad board a long (AMD K-6) time ago.

Six months after purchasing, I could not be happier. Installing the board in my case was a snap, and component installation was easy, too. Having multiple 4-pin fan connectors allows me to have a cool, quiet system. BIOS settings are clear and easy. Everything just worked, and with a bit of tweaking, it works great!

Yeah, the board is chocolate brown. My Noctua fans are ugly brown, too, and they work great...like this board. I could deduct a 1/2 star of the lack of printed manual in the box, but I have one after printing the manual downloaded from the MSI site.

The balance of price and features makes the MSI B450-A Pro Max the best value I could find.

There's a problem somewhere

Having issues with an occasional static screen after wake up (see photo), which then requires a reboot. It also freezes up occasionally. I've swapped out the power supply and graphics card and still have the same issue.
Update: Fixed the static screen. It was the monitor. Swapped it and have not had a problem since. Windows still freezes up more often than I care and I've not pushed it with a game yet.

A good and easy to work wit motherboard, but...

I paired this motherboard with a Ryzen 7 2700x and a RTX 2060. After some time of utilizing most of the usb ports, I found out that one of the two usb 2.0 do not function correctly. I tried to flug in an already formatted ssd and a Bluetooth connector, but it didn't work. I tested it on other usb ports and it worked just fine. Overall I would say it is a very good motherboard for the price and it's features.

Okay, I really don't know about tech support...

...because I haven't needed it. From my research, if you need tech support for a motherboard from any of the leading manufacturers, it's a bit of a crapshoot, and not likely to be fun. So that's a wash. The board is nice, no problems here. System performance is excellent, setup was pretty intuitive. I got the MAX, so I can throw a 3rd or 4th gen chip in it if I really want to, without any hassles or abridged BIOS. That cost a few extra bucks. I have nothing but happy thoughts about it so far.

B450A Pro with Ryzen 2700

This is a fantastic motherboard for the price. OC profiles are very easy to navigate and set up, the MSI interface is user friendly. There is ample room for my Wraith CPU cooler (the stock AMD cooler) and a big graphics card (vega 56). Plenty of PCI express ports and the board itself is rigid and durable. Some reviews mention the appearance, I personally think that it looks really nice, it's subtle and not over the top flashy. Highly recommend this one.

Arrived damaged, but would probably be an OK board when working.

Arrived with a capacitor broken off the board and loose in the bag. I'm sure the board would have been fine for my uses if it didnt arrive damaged, but I ended up getting a better board after returning this one. (Got a x470 instead of a B450 which is a better chipset). Overall I'm sure this would work for every day use and some light gaming, but for the price the B450 boards are going for now you could get a much better X470 board for maybe $20 more.

Plug and Play, literally

A couple of times now I've had to buy a board on a tight budget. Both times have been MSI boards, and both times they have been great purchases. After a lot of searching around for the best price/features ratio, I decided to pull the trigger on this board, after realizing my last MSI board has been running flawlessly for the last 8 years.

Without going into much detail, its got a Ryzen 5 2600x , and a RX 570 running beautifully. It's used in a primarily gaming PC and does what it needs to do. Everything on the board was clearly labeled and easy to plug into (especially the case plugs, very appreciative of that!)

It powered up on the first attempt, and has ran perfectly since. The BIOS is clear and easy to read. Other than check to make sure that everything is running as it should I haven't used it for anything else.

I usually have a lil panic attack on whether I chose the right mobo when I build a PC, and thankfully I feel very confident that I did in this case.

Nope. Run away.

So, I installed everything perfectly. And everything is sorted out software wise. Great. So far so good. Every time I logged into windows, after exactly 30 seconds, the computer would shut off. That is if it posted at all. So then it just refuses to even post. I run to micro center with 3 minutes left before they closed, and snagged an AORUS b450 pro with wifi. Everything else was plug and the biggest hassle after that was all those damn drivers. But yeah forget this man. If it doesnt work, it should at least look pretty, not like a pile of computer vomit. Oh yeah, its not all black. Its black and brown. Disappointed.

If it's missing then this is a paper weight

I'd like to say this went together and worked great, but I can't. I have no idea how this is going to work at all since the screw needed for my M.2 SSD is missing. It's not in the box where several people have said they found theirs, it's also not in any of the packaging. So basically the most crucial part to secure your M.2 if you are using one is so unsecured that either it ends up in the packaging somewhere or missing entirely. So much for an easy build, now I have to hunt down a way to find something that will work to secure my M.2 or do the lengthy process of returning this mobo for want of one damn screw. THANK YOU FOR THE PAPER WEIGHT.

Bad SATA port

It works great, the only problem is, it came with a bad SATA port. It was bad from the beginning, I just thought it was my old hard drive. I also thought it was the fact that I had an old system drive that I was trying to put in the second slot on my board. Once I finally bought a large 4TB drive and put it in that slot, I decided to troubleshoot it and figuring out the SATA port has been bad all along. Sometimes I worry about buying stuff from Amazon because there are so many private sellers. I'm sure if I had realized it sooner I could have returned it.

Great MB for the price

Bought to use with a 3rd generation Ryzen. I did have to update the BIOS/UEFI, so be prepared for that. Installation was easy and quick. Works fantastically well with the Ryzen 5 3400G I put in.

I have identified two things that are not communicated in the specs. First, there is not an M.2/NVME slot. Second, this board only has 2 SATA data connections on the motherboard.

Decent mobo

bought this on a recommendation from a youtuber for budget video editing pc, not bad for the price point and for my needs, a month later the audio jack stopped working, took it to a repair place had them check it out thought it might be a driver issue but they said it was just a bad jack, maybe not an issue for some but it should be made to last longer than a month, unfortunately its past my return period but I’ll try to contact customer support and edit my review at a later date.

Poop brown. Really man?

This isn’t about the functionality of the board, but the appearance. The picture is black, but the product is a poop brown color (assuming healthy stool). Paired with my white computer case instead of a sleek space them like I was aiming for, I have a poop and toilet paper theme. My RGB fan just makes it nauseating. Product good, color....well crap.

Nice mobo

My last motherboard was an MSI and will still working flawlessly after eight years. Went with MSI again, and bought this one because it has 6 SATA ports. I will probably take advantage of the M.2 slot one of these days, but with my current SSD running so fast on this system, I'm not going to worry about it for a while. Good board so far.

This appears to be a very good motherboard. However, there was no manual enclosed

I have installed this Motherboard into a Corsair 750D case and it fits very well. The motherboard appears to be of quality construction and booted up with minimal effort. However, no assembly manual was present when the motherboard arrived. The there was an online manual but that is not quite the same as having a hard copy in front of you.

Great motherboard, HOWEVER

I have absolutely no problem with this motherboard. HOWEVER!!!! I bought an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 and it wouldn't boot. I tried doing the BIOS update with it, and still nothing, it wouldn't want to take the update. But I sent it back and now I'm buying a newer board because putting older and newer parts together doesn't always work. But no, I would 100% recommend this board especially to anyone who at least knows what they're doing, unlike me.

Doesn't support Ryzen 3000 series out of the box, it needs a FLASH BIOS update first. The motherboard is BROWN, not grey as in the picture.

Good Budget Board

I bought two of these boards. The first board had minor QC issues with bent header pins. The second board was better. But overall, it's a good board. It has many fan headers which I needed. I wished it had a USB C front panel connector so it could go well with my PC case but that would increase the price of this board.

Great motherboard

Bios is easy to use and the overclock genie makes speeding up the CPU easy for beginners. My Ryzen 5 2600 is running steady at 3.85Ghz without any problems. I can probably get it up to 4.2ghz by increasing the voltage, but is it worth it?

Fantastic Motherboard

I'm loving this motherboard. It was easy to setup. The one downside was I had some driver issues using the MSI website. I even had support stumped. I finally just went to AMD's website and downloaded the B450 chipset drivers from them. Everything else is working great.

Board was defective. Spent 5 hours carefully assembling the pc and then nothing worked. Made for a bad birthday...

Really didn't have do too much of anything.

Use PS/2 keyboard and mouse so drivers can be installed for windows 7. Ok, I know 7 is pass'e but 10 will never happen. Solid, no light show or RGB. Just works very well with my Ryzen 5 2600 and RX580. Price can't be beat for what it is.

Case issues, disingenuous spec sheets, and PCIe Weirdness makes this a resentful 4 stars

I had 3 issues with this:
~ My GFX card couldn't fit in the upper x16 slot due to my case having a small bump that prevents it from fitting there.
~ The lower PCIe x16 slot is a Gen 2 x4 slot. Which is still... "Fine" for a 1080, in the same way a pair of pants that's about 1-2 cms too small is "fine".
~ I also have a PCIe USB expansion card, which when plugged in above the card, takes up all of the PCIe lanes but 1.

Other than my very specific issues, the board itself is totally fine.

Like- DDR4 boost has my RAM running higher than anticipated. (3200mhz performming at 3600mhz

Dislike- the advertised pictures do not show the brown color that takes up most of the motherboard. I was anticipating grey.

Board is a fantastic platform for pretty much all Ryzen chips sans overclocking. Not much more to say. The ProSeries is simple and elegant. Running Windows 7 SP1 without a hitch. MSI is the best!
