PROS: You may talk at the same time is charging. Comfortable to wear. Compatible with Windows 7. Easy set up. Good sound.CONS: Range is limited especially if there are walls but good enough for my needs. Every now and then I have to unplug and replug USB receiver because the computer stops detecting it. I do not know if this is caused by the product or not but it happens. So far, once I replug it, it works.

The range was to short couldn't even get 5 feet out of it. The mic had really bad feedback. def would not recommend.

PROSLightweight, no cord, nice tiny receiver/transmitter, instant autodetect with Vista.CONSVolume is horrible. You will need to turn PC volume to 100% to hear anything.Less than that it is barely a whisper.Even at 100% it is low/average.Example: If watching Netflix I use a corded headset with PC volume at 35%.With the Logitech at 35% you would hear nothing.

It works very well with Skype (the main reason I've purchased the headset). Doesn't work well through the walls even very thin ones, but that is common for Bluetooth headsets. Anyway the range is way better than using standard cellphone-type Bluetooth headset with Bluetooth dongle. It is also suitable for listening music, however the quality is comparable to low cost wired headphones. I would say you are paying 1/4 of the price for the audio part and 3/4 for Bluetooth transmitter-receiver. Another concern is that the headset feels like it will wear our and/or break very soon especially with heavy usage. However with my infrequent use it is still alive and well.

So I received this headset recently, and It was not what I was expecting...I chose this over the Platronics .Audio 995 Wireless Stereo Headset because of the charging problem with that headset, and I almost wish I didn't. At first appearance it seems weak and cheep, and I think if I bend it the wrong way it will snap in half.Con's:Pairing this thing is a pain, and the instructions are just a bunch of useless pictures. (You need to get the driver off of the website.)The sound quality is poor.(For me, I'm not sure of other users.) The headset crackles while I am watching a video on youtube. I'm not sure why I'm having this issue. Pandora works without crackling.It's not worth what you paid for... It's worth about 30-40 dollars tops.Pro'sIts wireless.It's one of the cheapest models available.Overall I would not recommend this, spend a bit more if you can and get a better headset, or stick to wires. The audio is really not fantastic, and the mic is only decent. Support is terrible, and the setup process can be confusing. Many costumers complain about Logitech's quality on their headsets.If Logitech is not putting an effort into giving a good product, then don't buy from them.

The Logitech H600 is good, but it has a few quirks with the mute-ability, sound switching, and overall physical design.The sound quality for phone calls is up to par; and music plays about average. Yet, the 8 hour battery life, and 30+ foot range are good additions.DESIGN: The bulkyness of this headset makes it uncomfortable for longer periods of use. Compared to modern headphones, it feels like something big and awkward is overhead; and it's not snug or comfortable. Plus, the hard plastic seems fragile and potentially crackable if dropped on a hard surface.QUIRKS: If you're done making phone calls, and want to play sound on the computer's speakers, there should be an easier way to toggle between one's external speakers and the headset without having to (a) fuss with the system's sound properties, (b) having to eject the USB port, or (c) needing to restart one's computer to re-designate the default sound output.The other issue is the mute button. It's relatively easy to press by mistake when putting on the headset or answering a call. As a result, there is no way to determine if mute is activated, unless the other person on the phone hangs up because they can't hear you. The other alternative to determining whether mute is on is to go through a tedious system "sound test." Since it's almost 2012, we hope headsets in America will improve considering the advent of new technology.

I'm no audiophile by any means, but I like music and generally listen to headphones for several hours a day at work and at home. I have had several different types of headphones and headsets, ranging from cheap $10 headphones to Beats by Dre and Sennheisers. I also do dictation using Dragon for Mac, so I have my fair share of headsets, including a $80 Logitech "professional" corded USB headset.I was intrigued at the possibility of being untethered from my headset, which would allow me to move around a bit more when listening to music or even dictating a blog post or article. These headphones work great for general dictation, skype calling, and listening to podcasts. The audio isn't great, however, so don't expect deep bass or crisp highs. They're just "okay."PROS:- They're affordable and lightweight- Good range, I walked throughout several rooms of my house with no problem- Comfortable on the ears- Good battery lifeCONS:- RF and needs a dongle, not bluetooth- Bad audio quality for music- Had a few issues getting connected to my Mac, assuming this was just user error thoughOverall this headset is a great value for the money, as long as you heed the old saying "you get what you pay for." Don't expect pro audio sound or build quality and you will be very satisfied.

I bought a Logitech optical mouse in 2005. That thing lasted 5 years and served me well. I bought a Logitech H500 headset less than 6 months ago and it quit working entirely. What happened to Logitech's quality standards? The connection from the beginning was difficult to establish and required me to power cycle several times just to get the magic "beep" of success. The reception was often garbled by static. I don't know if this is the signal strength from the wireless USB transmitter or the drivers choking on audio throughput. Either way, it was often like listening to a bad AM radio. Finally, the power switch gave out altogether and simply will not turn on. (Hey, fellas, you don't really need a power switch for USB powered devices. Check it out.)Physically, this thing is fairly well made. Unfortunately, it falls down hard where it counts.This, coupled with the bad experience I've had with my new Logitech wireless mouse, which is a cheap piece of junk compared to my old optical mouse, has convinced me to avoid all things Logitech.Caveat Emptor.

skype head set is better. I used it for 3 years, and decided to try Logitech and discovered that sound quality is not the best, and cable is too shot (in case you need to talk while charging). The one from Skype (freetalk wireless for $69.88) is more expensive, lighter and better quality -definitely money well spend!! So im Disappointed in logitech!

The Microphone is good, however the headphones are really uncomfortable after a few hours of wearing it. The top of my ears burn and get extremely irritated after a while. The sound quality is not very good for music either; there is virtually no bass. Folding is a nice addition, however it feels very flimsy and weak. I'm worried that It's going to break. The batteries are decent. A charge tends to last anywhere from 3-9 hours, and with a 3-foot charging cable, it's very difficult to use effectively while charging. Overall, the only this that this headset has going for it is that it's wireless.

We took this very much awaited headset out of the box and had it working in seconds. We plugged it into the USB port and it was ready to use. The headset comes with an instruction booklet, but we were heading out the door when this sweet headset arrived and still wanted to check it out before leaving. In two minutes it was installed and working.This headset is very comfortable and light weight. Also, not a big deal, but the headset folds and makes it a little neater to stick in a drawer when not in use.It has a volume adjustment on the head set. It has a rechargeable battery that lasts around eight hours. A green light tells you the battery has plenty of juice left. Red lights means less than 30 minutes. Orange means it's charging.The sound quality is very clear.This wireless headset is such a bonus, a huge, huge advantage over a plugged in headset. Yes, you can step away from the computer without detaching from your headset.Stepping away from the computer and standing with two walls between me and the computer, the sound was still great. Logitech estimates the headset reaches 33 feet. It worked to at least 40 feet for us.Living with earplugs for years on end, this has been a luxurious comfort to my ears!

I got this for my wife to use with her MacBook Air. She constantly has to reconnect the headset to her laptop via a pairing application downloaded from the Logitech website. Others might not have the same problem, but it seems to happen again and again.

I had my son test this, he uses it mostly with Second Life and Skype.The range is excellent, he has the dongle plugged into his computer that is at the back of the house, and he can actually go outside into the front yard before he starts losing signal.It took awhile to adjust to having him walking around the house talking on this, but after making sure he understood that he had to mute it when he was around the family, so that his online friends were not privy to our personal family life and conversations, it was bearable : )It did have a few minor technical glitches, but it was easy to fix, without even trying to call or email customer service.

Things I like: Sound quality is good. Pairs quickly with receiver. I love the nano-sized receiver - which has a storage slot in the headphones so it's NOT easy to lose, despite what some reviewers have said - and you don't have to worry about taking the receiver out and putting it somewhere every time you grab your laptop. Build quality seems sturdy enough, and I think the price is fair.Major thing I don't like is they are not very comfortable. The ear pads itch after a while, and the headset puts too much pressure on your ears and feels heavy on your head. I picked up the Asus HS-1000W to see if it was any better; it feels lighter and the styling is better, but it seems flimsy and the USB dongle is huge and you have to plug the headset in through the dongle. So I'm taking it back.Other thing I don't like about the Logitech headset is the styling - pretty ugly headset.But for the price, it seems to be the best one out there. Other option would be to go up to the next model which has both USB and bluetooth...looks to be a slightly different shape so MAYBE is more comfortable.

I've had this headset for a couple of months, and my boss told me to get something else. I like them, sound is fine, and comfort if fine, but after a month, they started to cut out occasionally or give very distorted sounds. In my work, I can't afford less than great quality. I'm wondering if others have had cut outs or distored sound.

Just fantastic, I used to be glued at my desk for work, no more. Now I can wonder all over the house with these! Very comfortable and as I am required to have a headset on for work, comfort matters.The battery life is stupidly long, ranging from 10-16 or so hours, I'm sure the battery life wont stay excellent, but the fact that I had forgotten to charge it for 3 days, and on the third day I was able to just plug it in and still use them really impressed me.Doesn't take long to charge, takes quite awhile to get a low battery alarm. I've owned them for about 2 months now and I just 2 weeks ago finally heard the low battery alarm for the first time. The sound is good, I get good reports about the microphone, but it can be a bit oversensitive.Overall I'm very happy, great price for a great product that makes my life much easier and better.

I recently got me a new laptop and my one complaint was the speakers sound terrible. But after plunging this headset in, everything sounds great. The nano receiver is small enough to stay in your computer without getting in the way and if you need o remove it, there is a slot in the headset where you can store it. This is one of the things I love about Logitech design, they think about how it will be used and abused. After the initial charge, the headset worked for a long time before it needed to be recharged.The sound is magnificent and it is especially nice not to be tied to the computer. I can get up and go to the kitchen, do the things I need to do around the house while still listening to music. I don't have a way to test the microphone right now, but I forget it is even there as it folds away when not needed.Overall, this is a great headset and another great Logitech product. Now if we could just get Logitech to make a computer.

This headset works really great! We liked the first set so well we purchased another set for the office. We regularly make international calls/meetings using this headset and the clarity is very good. Product was packaged very well and product was received on time. I would recommend this headset for office and home.

just not loud enough.. they would work good if you were in your house with no other noise around,but if you use these in an environment with any noise you will not be able to hear much from them. also, the range is pretty poor. another thing was that it takes forever to connect when you turn the power on.. i would say dont waste your hard earned money on such a poor product!

regarding the pairing utility, it is for EITHER the H600 or the H800. See the download page at the Logitech website, which reads, "H800/H600 Headset Pairing Utility". Thus, you are not being told to press the track forward button on the H600 as part of the pairing process; that pertains to the H800. Yes, it's poorly written, and yes, it's less than desireable that you need to download a separate utility to make things work smoothly (particularly given that the SPARTAN instructions say nothing about it), but otherwise not bad for Skype, Dragon NS, etc. And certainly better than being tethered to your computer by cords!

wish the battery lasted a little longer and had slightly better range, but works great for the wife. she says its really comfortable to wear and has no issues with it. loves not being attached to the desk unless it needs charging.
