I purchased this product based on the product specs saying it was compatible with Mac OS and based on the promoted video review by the Amazon Vine user.Unfortunately it does not appear to work with my setup. I charged the headset completely, plugged the additional Logitech Unifying dongle that came with the headset into my computer's USB port and tried to pair the headset to the dongle with the Logitech Unifying software already installed on my machine for the trackball I already use.That failing, I searched the web for indications of the trouble and the fix and found that many OS X users were having difficulty with the pairing. There are indications that this may work if I use a USB extension cord or a USB hub, so both are on order (honestly I need the hub anyway - running out of slots on the computer itself).I also found a review in these reviews that mentioned a special pairing utility for the headset itself. I downloaded that and tried it. Also no dice.If the headset works with the USB extension cord and/or the USB hub I don't have to return it but having to deal with this kind of deceit is, honestly, not my expectation from buying a Logitech product.I strongly recommend that Logitech either sort this situation out with Apple or change the product specs so it no longer claims to be OS X compatible.

I got the Logitech Wireless Headset H600 after it was recommended on google groups as being compatible with the new chromebooks-- you cannot install software on them so have to be careful what you get in terms of peripherals.First problem was getting the nano receiver out of the headset-- had to wrap tissue around it and pull gently with pliers. I could not get the headset to recognize the receiver at first, so I charged it for several hours-- still no love. Had to go to my Windows laptop and get the hidden download for Win XP (another 30 minutes of research and dead ends), install and run it to synchronize the headset and receiver. Had to figure out what the MUTE button is so I could synchronize (it is the mic on/off switch, but pushed in). Everything started to work with the Win laptop. Moved the nano and headset over to the Chromebook, pushed in the nano, and instant love.I only gave these 3 stars as I want to move off a phone altogether and just use google talk, and when I was on the WIN PC I ran the hardware test. My voice sounded muffled and scratchy using this mike. Also the headset could use an 11 setting - cant turn it up very loud. Thanks for your concern logitech but I will decide what my hearing can handle ;)

For what i'd consider the starting price point in wireless headsets, this is about what i expected....I paid $51.You can pay up to several hundred $$ on a wireless headset, so this is not bad for the opening price point...However, I received my headset in what appeared to be a sandwich bag...literally...And it was previously worn/used...two tell tale signs:1-there was some slight discoloration on the padding over the earpieces2-this unit was already paired...and based on the reviews i read, most of them require a download from logitech in order for them to workThat being said, i decided to keep the one i received...i don't want to go through the hassle of downloading and pairing.I use the headset for work primarily in the morning and evening, about two to three hours a day...i found them to be somewhat comfortable, but they are a little snug...I can't blame that on the headset though cause I've got a big head...Sound quality is ok...there's some distortion at full volume, but for the most part i'm satisfied with audio quality.So, unless you are willing to pay for a high quality headset, this one works just fine.

Received these last year as a Christmas gift, purchased through Amazon.The Good: Easy to set up. Very comfortable over extended periods of use. Good clear sound, especially when using voice chat while playing an MMO. Good range (20'-30') if line of sight to the transceiver is maintained. Easy to place sounds spatially.The Bad: Not sufficient for audiophiles. If you're serious about music, spend a bit more and get a higher end headset. The Bluetooth transceiver needs to be on the side of the PC nearest the user. Very poor performance if the transceiver is connected to the back of the PC. Sometimes doesn't connect after a system boot, requiring the unplugging and re-plugging of the Bluetooth transceiver. It then does almost immediately connect.The Best: Right earpiece started working sporadically, then quit. Microphone and left earpiece continued working with no issue. A brief call to Logitech, and an RMA was issued. Quick hint, be sure to have the model number, part number, and your receipt handy. If you don't have a receipt you can still get warranty support, but there is another reference number you will need, that the tech support person will help you find on the headset. Standard 2 year warranty on this product. Truthfully, it's the warranty period and tech support that elevate this to a 4-star review. Would I buy this again? Heck yes! Way to go Logitech.

I purchased this late 2011 and it has worked fine until about six or seven months ago. SInce then, it has constantly required re-pairing about once a week. Then it needed re-pairing once a day.Now, I'm unable to pair it at all, despite updating the software and following all the options on the Logitech site.When I completed a form on site seeking support, Logitech simply emails me my message along with the SAME options on its site to help correct the problem.I don't know about you, but I expect something to work when I pay good money for it. I did not expect this level of unreliability from a Logitech product. Obviously, it's frustrating because now I've got to find a RELIABLE headset vendor and pay out yet more money.If you're considering this product, I would proceed with extreme caution unless you don't mind spending money. Or considering your purchase a short-term rental, if anything! I'm sure if you get it, you will tire of the constant pairing ritual.Very disappointing experience.

This headset lasted 6 months with great sound and 6 hours of battery life at first. My only big complaint in the beginning was that the noise cancelling would cut off the other person talking if I was in the middle of talking. Standard corded PC headsets will not do that, so if you accidentally interrupt someone both people can be heard. Well that was the end of my fun. Now this thing will not charge anymore. No matter how many USB outlets I try to plug this into, it will not charge longer than 10 minutes and shuts itself off. I tried charging it on and charging it when shut off, same results but charging it turned off with the earphones open helps a little. When I place it flat on the desk with the earphones open, it will start charging again for a short time then shut itself off. When it is left charging overnight, by morning it lasts only 3 hours then beeps to be charged again. It works fine if I leave it plugged in, but that defeats the purpose of having a wireless headset, and the cable is so short I practically jerk it out of the computer every time I turn my head. I am displeased that this thing turned out this way. There is no way to replace the battery so its basically a $50 disposable headset.

I though I could trust Logitech as a brand for this headset. What a letdown–as it turns out, the product doesn't live up to the product description. Battery life is short, it doesn't last very long after it's being charged up, even if I turn it off when it's not in use; the distance of reception is extremely short, it gets choppy and noisy only ten feet away... I don't think it worths 45 dollars.Oh, btw, the seller re-packaged the product: The headset had its original box, but was removed from it. For more economical shipping, the headset is sealed in a clear plastic bag and then wrapped in a bubble envelope. I was expecting to see the box being delivered by hand, but was a little bit pissed to see the small bubble wrap enveloped already sitting inside my mailbox, which means that the courier pushed the package into the mailbox through the narrow door slot that measured no more than 1.75"X10".

Purchased in Jan-2012 at Best Buy. Pdt stopped working in Apr-2012. Took back to store and BB replaced it w/ same pdt. Pdt worked for several months and stopped working again b/c battery would no longer charge. As mentioned by another reviewer, it appears that if you leave headset on for extended period (overnight) then this may drain the battery to point where recharging it (via USB) will no longer work. Forget about getting a new USB cord to charge. Once battery is dead, pdt no longer works (unless you change battery - Logitech says that battery is not meant to be replaced). I submitted a return claim w/ Logitech (via website) and they said they would ship new one, but I never received it. Regardless, recharging system/battery quality is very poor so pdt will eventually die.

We were really excited to get these as we really enjoy Skyping with friend far & near, plus my sons play games that require them to talk to each other and they wanted a good set of ear phones to use.First the Cons (of which there are not many)-A little tricky to get it all set up on our Toshiba laptop. It was a little more than "plug and play", but not too bad. We followed the directions and then had to reboot the system to get it recognized, but after that, no problems.-Until we realized the headset batter needed charging. So there are two buttons, one orange and one green. They alternate blinking back & forth between orange and green while charging, so we left them and came back about an hour later. Just the orange was showing now, and it was solid. We took that to mean that the set was fully charged and went to work.But that's it for the negatives!Now for the good stuff:-They fit perfectly on your ears, like ear muffs and you cannot ear sound outside of the headphones while you're using them, huge bonus. They are foam and adjustable. The sound quality is amazing, very crisp and clear, no air/wind noise, none of the rustling clothing noise, very professional sounding.-The microphone moves in several different ways so that you can fit it just for you. This is a big help if one family member is a child and then their big daddy wants a try, they headphones will fit him too!-Plug & Forget - there is a tiny leave-in nano receiver ready for use. Plug it in and leave it and it will always be ready to go.-Loud & Clear - laser tuned drivers minimize distortion so you can enjoy clear calls and stereo sound while a noise-canceling microphone reduces background noise. This works GREAT if you live in a big family with a lot of children or dog (or both) running around!-Unleashed audio! You're not chained to the desk, you can move freely up to 33 feet (10 m) from your computer with no problems or distortion of your call.-The six hour rechargeable battery lets you chat longer, whether you're at your desk or on the move.We're sold, they are perfect for chatting, gaming, VOIP phone calls, whatever you'd like. My son tested his voice with Audicity to get a reading on how well it filtered out background noise and he said it was rock steady. So now he will be able to complete his projects without any distractions from the rest of us :)We'll definitely be buying another pair, these are great!!

First, this headset is cheaply made and arrived without any packaging whatsoever. I went to the Logitech site to download the pairing utility as instructed, but it never worked. Despite contacting customer service and eventually receiving an unhelpful reply (they didn't respond for over three days, and then gave me the same instructions as on the site, ignoring the fact that I told them that I had already taken these steps, which had failed already to make the pairing utility work), the headset never paired with the receiver. This is a truly shoddy product. I will stick with Skype-approved headsets in the future; at least they pair correctly and work well.Also, I should not have had to pay return shipping for a defective product.

I really like this headset and bought it to use on Paltalk and Skype which it does an above average job.I can walk from my office to the kitchen (about 20 feet away) and the reception is good as is the mic quality. When you don't need to use the mic it tucks away and you can use them as regular wireless headphones.As a sound engineer I was shocked at the sound quality and they have replaced my other wireless headphones (Sennheiser) due to the quality of sound.The one thing I am not to sure I will like about them is they have a built in rechargeable Lithium lion battery that can not be replaced where my Sennheiser headphones come with a rechargeable NiCad battery that can.

I've had Logitech headsets in the past and knew the quality of the sound - both outbound and inbound - was very good. Because I am tech support volunteer for my church during my spare time, I wanted more mobility so decided to try the wireless kind. They work great; my only issue is the range. I find the signal doesn't go around corners so if I need to leave the room I need to stay in a straight line with the transmitter or the sound cuts out. So it is mobility - with some limitations. Overall very happy with the sound and the comfort of the headset.

Great headphones. I replaced my Plantronics wired one with this and truly enjoy the wireless freedom. The product certainly needs imrovement. Lacking the following1. Bluetooth connection - understand that this is now available in H800 the next model2. Clear indication of battery either on the headphone or via an interface on the computer3. Mute button position is awkward. I gave it to my wife to use and she had to take the headphone by the mute button (right underneath the right ear cup) and kept accidentally pressing it4. Some kind of an indication that it is on mute - the small beep is not enough and get drowned when on a conference call. Here is where an app on the computer comes handyI use my application's mute (Lync) so that I can avoid this issue. Otherwise good headphone and decent battery life.

I had tried various other wireless headphones {the behind the head type, the on a wire type} and was not pleased. I have a larger than average head and couldnt find a set that fit me comfortably. My husband purchased these headphones for me, and I will admit, I was leery. When I first put them on I was surprised at the comfortable feel of them. The foamy pads are ona swivel, and they fit nicely. The Headset comes with a bluetooth dongle, and I did have a bit of aproblem getting my computer to recognize the dongle. Once we figured that out, we were able to get the headphones started up. The headphones have good tonal qualities, and offer a very pleasing sound. They are fairly loud, and do have some noise reduction qualities. The fold away microphones twist discreetly behind the foam. All in all I am extremely pleased with this purchase, and love the portability :D.

First off, there are no instructions mentioning this but you have to install the pairing utility from Logitech's website(search google with headset model and go to the first website), after installing pair the set with the pc using the utility and reboot your system(necessary), now onto the features.The Good:- The set is pretty light weight and easy on your head- The Mic is pretty good- The headsets fold up so they are easy to pack when you are travelling- There is a space in the headset for inserting your USB dongle when you are not using itThe bad:- The sound starts breaking sometimes without any reason especially when you have the dongle in a port that is on the back of your PC- The sound controls are pretty hard to spot at first as they are the same color as the ribbons.- The sound quality is not that good.- The headphones are not a perfect fit for you ears which sometimes annoys me.

I've got this headset set up on my work computer -- I sit in the middle of a cubicle farm, so it's nice to have a headset so I don't bother others if i'm streaming music or listening in on a virtual conference call.Logitech rarely (if ever) disappoints, and, true to form, the H600 wireless headset turned out to be a pretty nice piece of equipment.DESIGN: the glossy black plastic frame is lightweight, but solid enough for use at home/office, and the blue circles add style without being too flashy. The earpieces actually fold in, and the headset, when collapsed, takes up about as much space as a pair of sunglasses. Nice for tucking into a small space at your desk. The boom mic is unobtrusive and can swivel up out of the way when you're not using is. The earpieces are flexible and well-padded for extra comfort.FUNCTIONALITY: I haven't used this too far from my desk, since I sit in a cubicle, but from my seat the signal is crystal-clear. I often have issues getting computer accessories to install & work on my computer since my office has various security / admin restrictions that interfere with the drivers and software for new devices. Not so with this headset. I simply plugged in the tiny USB receiver (which is the same size & appearance as the Logitech Unifying Receiver which is, unfortunately, not compatible with the H600 headset), switched on the headset, and my computer automatically recognized it and switched audio over to the headset. Chatting over Skype or Office Communicator or whatever software you use is easy, too -- your computer will automatically recognize the headset mic. It's as simple as turning on my headset and opening a chat window and I'm ready to go. There's also a mute button built into the headset, which is nice when you're on teleconferences.BATTERY: I haven't had any issues with battery life and have used these headphones for hours of streaming music and/or teleconferences. No issues here.OVERALL: I think this headset is a good deal overall. It's a bit more expensive than a wired headset, but the freedom to move around (within a 30' radius or so) your house or office while listening to music or participating on a conference call is nice. I recommend this headset.

Purchased these to work with Dragon Naturally speaking. And they did not work very well at all. And after wearing them for a few hours dictating nursing program notes, my ears began to work.These will be going back to where I purchased them from.**** Update ****The H600 is not the best, but after spending hours training Dragon Naturally Speaking, the H600 work pretty good, and I gut used to not having a long wire connecting me to the computer and getting tangled up.I am still keeping my review at 3 stars,if I start to like them better than I will update the review.

I LOVED this headset for the six months they worked: great sound, easy to charge. The downside is letting the battery go dead. I left mine on overnight without them being plugged in and now they won't charge at all. Nothing, nada, zip. Online support says customer service just wants to send a new USB cable out but that doesn't fix anything. A friend with the same headset he had the same problem. If you buy these, make sure to keep them charged and never EVER let them go dead.UPDATE: Since I figured my headset was trash I let my husband take them apart. He opened the battery compartment and used a D-cell battery to "jump start" my headset battery. This gave it JUST enough charge to have it recognized as a low battery in need of charging instead of a dead battery. He plugged it in immediately and they charged! Music and gaming are beautiful again.What he did: He took a D-cell battery and two pieces of wire. He held one end of each wire to each end of D-cell and ran opposite ends to headset battery: negative to negative, positive to positive. He held wires in place for about 30 seconds and gave dead battery enough juice to be recognized as needing a charge. Hope this works for anyone with the same problem!

These headphones are pretty flawless. They have never given me any trouble at all. I've used them with Windows 7 and 8 and Ubuntu 12.10There is an unpublished feature of these headphones - they ARE Bluetooth capable - Bluetooth 2.1 to be exact. I have not tested the mic but right now they're paired to my iPad and I'm listening to music through the excellent stereo headphones. YMMV - this is an unsupported feature but a great one.Just put it in pairing mode (hold mute and volume up simultaneously) and then switch on Bluetooth mode on your device (I've tested with my laptop and iPad 2 at this time) and it appears. Very cool.

The Logitech H600 headset works fine for short term use. In my case, I am a gamer and use my headset for 2-3 hours at a stretch and these were just not comfortable for a long period of use.I prefer the Logitech H390 Clearchat Comfort USB headset. I can wear them for hours without any problems and the sound quality is excellent.If Logitech combined the comfort of the H390 Clearchat with the wireless system of the H600 we would have a winner.

Now when the kids and wife are asleep in the early mornings I get to break away from my PC to do some needed cores without loading up the MP3. Just get the PC rolling and off I go.It's wonderful to stay on team-speak while gaming to go let the dogs out/in. No more trying to find that right time....I've also changed over laundry when the game allowed without missing the conversation with my friends.

I've been using my Logitech wireless headset H600 for a few weeks now and here are my thoughts:PROS- Nice looking design- Lightweight- Low profile and slim- Retractable mic is stubby and easy to use- Sound is decent quality- Battery life is decent but you must turn it offCONS- No timed out off feature which should be standard- Range is not great, if I move more than a few feet, sound quality fades quickly- BIG ONE FOR ME: you cannot tell when it is muted. It's a push button and there is no red mute light.Overall, all the shortcomings are accceptable accept the mute function. If you're ever on conference calls, you'll know how important it is to know when it's muted and yelling into the mic "hey, is the mute working" isn't a viable option. If they fixed this, I would increase my star rating to 3.5. But for now, it's 2.

Works great, decent distance. Clarity has no issues. Sound and voice quality is great as well.Battery lasts long enough and charges pretty quickly.Mine still holds a charge for months after using it daily without any issues.My only complaint would be it hurts after a while. The frame is very tight regardless of how long you make it. Hurts your ears after using it for a while.

It was fine until one day it stopped charging. It had gone completely dead and now it won't charge at all. Googling it turns up some amount of problems with it. I do not recommend trying your luck. Now I get to test Logitech's customer service.[EDIT 4/16/2013]: it was a bit painful with Logitech CS but in the end I got a new H600 and it's been working fine. I've had the new set about as long now as I had the old set so we'll see if it's going to last or not.
