I ordered this, it arrived speedily, it worked for a week, and now the left headphone doesn't work. I ordered this through Amazon.com and so far there has been no response on replacing it...

Although it says that headset works with Mac, it does not work at all. Yes you can hear in headset, but the microphone is completely incompatible with the Mac OS and not recognized as external mic.

The headset I received only produced sound on one side. Delivery was quick, but what does that matter if the product is defective? I'm only giving this 2 stars because of the fast delivery.

At the time of this writing the item page on Amazon says this headset works with both PC and Mac. However, on receiving the headset I noticed the box only says it works with a PC. Nevertheless I tried it on my Mac and sure enough, the microphone doesn't send any data to the computer. I'm sure it works great on a PC, and the audio output worked fine - I could hear people on Skype - but they couldn't hear me. In case you're wondering, yes I checked that my settings in Skype were correct.So, do not buy this product if you intend to use it on your Mac. Experience has shown that your best bet is to go to a store and make sure it says on the box that it's compatible with Mac.

I use this headset for Skype calls -- great audio quality both listening and speaking. Also use it for other audio on my computer, so I can enjoy the sound but others around me don't have to. Very comfortable, even over my glasses. This headset is a good value.

good, especially for the price, CLEAR, GREAT SOUND. The mic works well too. I got myself a phone number thingy through skype so I can call people from my comp since I HAVE NO CELL reception in my house. This gets the job done I like it!

I bought this headset so I could listen to Internet radio at work. The sound quality is surprisingly good. The fit is comfortable (much better than ear buds). The sound control device is handy. I don't need the microphone and would just as soon detach it, but that does not seemm to be possible.Logitech also makes a wireless version of this headset Logitech 981-000068 ClearChat Wireless USB Headset - Black, but for about four times the cost.

A little uncomfortable, the sound isn't good for gaming so much, but I kind of expected that. The changeable color feature is lame, they include a couple of different cheap plastic pieces to change out for the red which seems pointless to me. Perhaps if they were just headphones that I would wear around town with my Zune, but these are meant for sitting at the computer where I am not looking to make a fashion statement. Overall they do the job, but are cheap.I'd buy them for again if they were $9.99 not $23

This headset would have been great, if it weren't for the backstrap that cut into my ears so badly. This headset is so uncomfortable, I wonder if logitech even tried wearing this before they started selling it. The mike quality is great, and the sound quality from the speakers are pretty average. Do not buy this unless you plan on building up calluses in between your ears.

This headset is very light and comfortable, provides great sound quality, and is relatively cheap. Great for long hours of gaming, voice chatting, or just listening to music. Comes with come cool color plates that you can interchange to your likes. One of the best features is that it has a built in mic on/off switch along with a volume control right on the cable for easy access. I would highly recommend this headset to anybody!

Headset is good for chatting, not great for gaming, cuts out sometimes. But that was not its intended use, so it works well for what its supposed to do. Color changes are irrelevant, and over ear style is a bit uncomfortable long term. Otherwise the rotating mic is convenient, and I am overall happy with the purchase/ value for the money.*EDIT* mic stopped working after less than 1 year of casual use. Headphones still playback though.

I have been searching for an inexpensive headset that performs well with Skype. Logitech has always been a trusted brand but for some reason I choose a competitor for my first headset. The ClearChat comparably was by far the superior headset to the one by GE. If you want a simple to use and easy to setup headset then the Logitech ClearChat will not disappoint. I know there are other higher end headsets to choose from but at this price point I highly recommend this product. As a side note I also like to wear hats and also wear glasses. With this headset it allowed me to wear both in comfort.

For all the effort and promotion Logitech put into showcasing the interchangeable colored disks, it seemed to forget the real test of headphones: comfort and sound.The sound quality is just okay. You can hear callers, but the clarity is not as good as similarly priced Sony headphones. There is static in the background and low-end bass is non-existent. But when it comes to actual headphone comfort, the Logitech is almost unusable.First off the headset pinches my temples, and waaay to painfully to suggest I might be big-headed. More like this headset was designed for children, not the adults pictured on the package. Then the earpieces have minimal padding, and as they are domed rather than flat, they put pressure on the inside ridges of my ears - not places used to headphone contact.Last but not least, the little volume control attachment on the headphone cord is a heavy weight on the line. By including a clip, Logitech suggests you should clip the headset wire to your person. That doesn't work if you, like me, take your headset off often as you move about your office.Overall, I'm not sure if I can use these headphones because of the low comfort level. I think I'd get a headache from the pressure of the headset pushing against my head, impacting my ability to concentrate on my calls. And I know I'll have it rip my clothes if I use the clip - I move too much to be clipped-in for a simple headset.

I bought this headset for my manager at the office - she wanted something that would not mess up her hairdo - and she likes it, the sound quality is fine and her hair is intact!

I had an old USB headset that was much more expensive. I didn't want to use yet another USB port or get yet another USB hub so I found this headset and based on the reviews bought it to talk via Skype, ICQ, MSN, etc. primarily with people in Russia and Estonia. It attaches to the sound card on your PC.(I did have to disconnect the speakers to attach it so it's one or the other) The first time I used it, I was surprised to find that the sound quality was as good as my internet phone which is as good as, if not better, than a land line. Subsequent conversations were less successful which may have been more a function of bandwidth and packet delivery than the Headset. It is relatively comfortable and easy to use and when I recorded a conversation on Skype, I listened to my own voice and found the quality very good insofar as I can tell how I sound.The price is right and with Amazon's great free shipping, I bought it from Amazon where because of the free two day shipping plan I have, I buy as much as possible(no. I am not affiliated with Amazon).

They may work well, but the thick plastic wedged between your ear and skullquickly becomes unbearable... Four stars for the mic, three for the sound, and .5 stars for the "comfort". Buy something else.

It does have an 8 foot cord, 1/8 jacks (color-coded of course), the boom microphone is flexible so you can bend it to any position, the band does not cut into the ears.Very pleased with it, has everything I wanted in a headset - including the price.

Crappy headset that lasted less than 6 months. Logitech doesn't seem to want to honor it's 2 year worksmanship warranty....look elsewhere for a better product.

Clarity of conversation is excellent. Headphones are comfortable yet provide somewhat of a challenge for those of us with smaller heads. However, if you stay positioned and do not make many moves this is not a problem. I would like to see some type of headset adjustment in future models.
