First of all, any good reviews you see here appear to be from the 'vine' program. If you don't know what this means, it means that Amazon gives these people items for free, just so they can write a review about it. They are obviously lying and saying the wrong things. This is not a hateful review, it's just an honest one.I bought this at walmart for $20, obviously it's a better deal here for 10-12 bucks. What I love about this headset that I have not had for any other headset I have ever owned in my life, is that it is comfortable. I wear glasses and anyone else who wears glasses knows putting on a headset is uncomfortable. This one doesn't seem to bother my ears at all, and I love it. It's lightweight and feels great. The sound isn't too bad either, for video games, music, or movies.Where I draw the line and say this is junk, is the microphone. It doesn't pick up your voice. I even put the thing right up to my mouth, and that was the only way I could be heard, but it wasn't even loud enough to hear over other background noises (of the video games). I will be taking this back to return, and I advise anyone else looking for a headset to steer clear of this thing, it's a piece of junk. I have owned MANY headsets in my life, and this one is actually the second worst (the worst being another one from walmart that I got for $5)..

I needed a mic for online gaming and I didn't bother reading reviews because I thought $20 (Walmart) would get me an adequate mic for my needs. After setting it up to work with Ventrilo I wasn't transmitting any sound even though everything said it was working correctly. The reason ended up being that the mic was not sensitive enough to pick up my normal talking voice. I can change the sensitivity in Ventrilo but I need to lower it all the way because my voice only reads at around level 1-3 (the default setting picks up anything higher than 30). If I move the mic right up to my mouth it behaves how I would expect a headset mic to behave with a loud clear sound, but because there is no way to move or adjust the mic closer I can't actually wear the headset this way. I ended up using a push-to-talk hotkey to engage the mic manually, but my friend had to adjust his volume so he could hear me and also this defeated the purpose of paying extra to have a mute button on the cord.Edit: I ended up keeping the mic. I used it with Skype and it didn't have a problem picking up my voice. Still not the best quality but adequate product for the price.

Light weight, but they are also not very durable. I would have liked a better ratio of weight to durability.Extremely comfortable. They sit on the ear well.The `mic', which works on an adjustable boom, works extremely well, capturing voices of all sorts, from soft to acute; from booming to monotone. It is sensitive, yet does not accidentally amplify unwanted background noise.The headset speakers amplify sound really well. Even on tracks that had low default volumes, I had no problem hearing them on these Logitech phones. They definitely allowed me to pick up/detect sounds on a track (song, video, voice threads) that were not as clear on other headsets or earbuds. In the business, these would be considered "dynamic" in their stereo sound quality. (In-line sound control allows for more range of volume control.)Only one factor that could be construed as negative: they do not cancel out any external (ambient) sounds. But, I repeat, the mic DOES cancel noise.Look, for the price, whether you're recording, Skyping, or just listening to podcasts or music, these are not a bad deal at all. Certainly a good option for general all-purpose use, and for those who are not super stereo quality snobs. At a higher price, you probably would not notice a big difference in the microphone quality, but you would notice a slight difference in your music listening. But even there, you'd have to go up another $50 to $75 in price to make it worth the extra expenditure.

The product is actually ok I give it 3 to 4 stars on the product its' self, but just have to give poor rating on the merchant. Item was suppose to be new and was far from it. The item did not come in original packaging, and when I opened it noticed that there was, what appeared to me to be, white dog hair all over and stuck to the ear pieces. So then I start to fully inspect them and notice minor nics all over the plastic, and on top of that there were 3 or 4 red dots on the plastic also, almost looked like dried blood, but I would doubt it was that, but that's what it looked liked. If I was buying the item and it said used then I would expect all this but not when it was suppose to be new!

I just received this product in the mail yesterday and I was so excited to see what they would like like. The package was sealed and the product was intacted. I was a little concerned due the fact they were refurbished, but I did read good reviews and ran with it. I needed to purchase two different headsets at the same time and didn't want to spend alot of money. The product looks brand new and so far I am having no issues.

first off, I got this headset fully knowing that my Mac Pro did not have the 3.5mm jacks and that I would need to use an adapter. But I thought it would be helpful for Mac users to know whether or not this headset works with a Mac - it does, with an adapter. I already have the Syba USB stereo adapter (available here on Amazon: Syba SD-CM-UAUD USB Stereo Audio Adapter, C-Media Chipset, RoHS ). This headset worked just fine on my MacPro with the adapter. I made skype calls with it - the mute and volume controls on the cord worked great. I also tested it using Garageband, which I use for making podcasts, and it recorded my voice clearly.My bullet list of what I like about this headset:+ adjustable and comfortable to wear+ the microphone rotates 360degrees so you can easily wear it on either side+ works on a Mac with a usb adapter+ clear sound from the mic - it seems sensitive but the noise canceling works well+ quick, easily accessible mute and volume controls on the cable+ the white color and acrylic-like finish is "cool" (hey, I'm a girl, I had to add something about the aesthetics!)+ great priceOverall it's a nice headset and I would recommend it to a friend without question. So why didn't I give it a 5 star? well, first off because it's not USB and doesn't come with an adapter to make it usable with a Mac out of the box. yes, I know I can get something else, but the rating is for my honest opinion and feedback, so that's what I'm giving. The other reason is that I already have a logitech headset that I use regularly - the Logitech USB 250 headset (I don't think they make this particular model any longer but it is listed on Amazon here: Logitech Stereo USB Headset 250 - maybe I'm just used to this older headset, but it is a little more comfortable on my head and the mic seems to be a bit more clear (of course this could be the software or have something to do with having to use an adapter on the other pair). The 250 headset (my older one) I wouldn't necessarily give 5 stars to either because it lacks the mute/volume switch that this H150 does have.Overall I'd say you cannot go wrong for the price and features of this headset. Just know that if you need USB, then you'll need to get an adapter, so check your computer to be sure it will work.

These headphones play very high quality sound at a good volume, and the ear design is very comfortable. The cord is also the perfect length for computer use, but may be too long for an MP3 player or iPod. Unlike headphones I had in the past, they do not hurt my ears after extended use. The design does have one major drawback, and that is it leaks sound. Even when played at low volumes, sound comes out of the sides and can be heard across the room. This poses another problem for use on the microphone or in Skype, because it can transmit the sound back and cause feedback. I would not recommend these headphones for use in public, but the work well for use at home.

This headset doesn't have a single scratch on it and the mic is way clearer than any I've had before. Definitely going to keep this buyer bookmarked and check more of their stuff out because for ten dollars (that's with the more expensive shipping), this is WAY more than what I should of gotten at that price.

I use Skype a lot and have been using the Plantronics Audio 476 DSP headphones. So today I used the Logitech Headset H150 to make a test call to Skype testing services. I was expecting the recorded audio from the Logitech microphone to be low in amplitude because the microphone is considerably far away from my mouth and off to the side. But that was totally deceptive, because the strong amplitude of my recorded test message was really quite loud. I was caught completely by surprise. And the headphones were plenty loud also. So I think the electronics in this headset are great especially considering the price. I think the frequency spectrum of the microphone has been optimized for clarity of human speech, which is great for VOIP applications like Skype. But don't even think about using the microphone for high fidelity music or vocals. I don't think that is the intended application. And the headphones probably don't cover a wide spectrum of sound either.But it isn't going to win any awards for the thin plastic headband. It works, but I do think I'll have to be careful with it to make sure it doesn't break. As you can see, there is no headband cushion on top. The ear pieces pivot both horizontally and vertically to adjust to the shape of your head and ears. The cushion is very thin, so don't expect a lot of comfort after you've been using them for a long time. The microphone doesn't have any foam around it, but since the microphone is off to the side of your mouth, I don't think there is much concern for wind noise when talking indoors.I weighted my review heavily for the sensitivity of the microphone for VOIP applications. I need a microphone that is sensitive and clear, not so much a flat response high fidelity microphone. If you plan to use this product to listen to music or record vocals, I think you will be disappointed. But for me, I'm making this my default headset for Skype and Yahoo Messenger.Update: Somehow the amplitude of the microphone has dwindled. It is still adequate, just not as sensitive as when I first used it. Not sure how that could have happened.

These headphones are great to wear for extended conference calls that I have. Sound quality is excellent compared to the cheap ones I was given at work. I use these headphones together with my Google Voice account and I don't have any complaints so far.

I purchased this because I have a skype number and was tired of the poor sound quality when calling phones. I find that the sound quality is 100x better with this headset, almost akin to having an actual phone when calling telephones. I even used the headset to watch a movie. Although others have listed complaints, I have had no issue with the headset being too tight. I have a large head (usually have to buy size large hats...despite being a petite person) and it sits comfortably on my ears. All in all it appears to be sleek-looking, solid, and of decent quality for the price. Only time will tell...

This is not an expensive headset, so I didn't expect it to be wonderful. It works fine, after a year of fairly frequent use at my desktop computer. However, recently I have switched to using earbuds not just with my iPhone and MP3 player, but with my desktop and laptop, too. Earbuds are a lot smaller, more portable, and comfortable than a regular headset.

Got it for my gf; she says she likes it just fine. It seems study and comfortable enough, although her hair gets caught easily in the band. The sound quality is also great, and the mic is very sensitive - much better than the one that comes with the laptop.Just be aware that the headset comes with a two plugs you must connect into the computer, one for the mic and one for the headphone; its not USB!!! If your computer's headphone or microphone jack is busted, or if you only have a single jack that connects both headphone and microphone, this headset will not work!!!

This is a great little headset that I've been using to Skype while online gaming. Input and output are clear. The headset has a little nodule for you to flip the mic on/off and adjust the input volume. Obviously I wouldn't recommend it for professional sound recording, but for Skyping and general listening, it's swell.

They don't cost a fortune. They're Logitech. They fit comfortably. They're light and don't make my ear hurt after two hours of World of Warcraft. They're white and easy to find in the dark. Love 'em.

I bought this to play an online game so I could chat at the same time. I also use it to listen to audio books or online music so I don't disturb anyone. Works just great for my purposes. I'm no music sound expert, but I know a good deal when I hear it.

I tried to use these headphones to work from home. My job consists of taking phone calls in customer service. I could never get the headphones to work properly. It was either cutting out, the caller heard an echo or they could barely hear me or all three. I was constantly adjusting the settings and nothing worked. They are also very uncomfortable.

Honestly surprised to give such a low rating to a Logitech product, a company that I have never had a bad product from. But this headset was terrible; high static on the other end of the line, even worse than the laptop built in mic that I bought this to replace with. Sound quality was average. Fit is snug, but band feels somewhat likely to break. Returned promptly.

The headphones are okay and the sound is decent for the price but the mic is too short and static, you basically have to talk a bit loud so it can pickup your voice.Maybe people with loud voices will like it.

I'm on the phone frequently at work and of course use a headset. I'm told by my boss that my headset at work costs a couple hundred dollars. I have to say that I think this headset is just as good, although these ear pieces aren't as cushioned. Basically I wanted a headset at home and I didn't want to spend much money. I have a land-line, and when I'm doing my marathon phone sessions with my sister I want to be able to walk around hands free with my cordless phone in my pocket and a headset on my head.I'll talk to my sister for an hour or two with this headset on and it doesn't get uncomfortable at all. The microphone is loud and clear, I've never had any complaints that I can't be heard. I can also hear clearly through it as well. I love the volume adjustment knob, which I find myself using frequently, as well as the mute button, which is easily on hand.I've had this headset for awhile now, and for $20, I would definitely replace it if something happened. I have zero complaints and think it's a quality headset and quite attractive looking as well.
