I use Skype a lot and have been using the Plantronics Audio 476 DSP headphones. So today I used the Logitech Headset H150 to make a test call to Skype testing services. I was expecting the recorded audio from the Logitech microphone to be low in amplitude because the microphone is considerably far away from my mouth and off to the side. But that was totally deceptive, because the strong amplitude of my recorded test message was really quite loud. I was caught completely by surprise. And the headphones were plenty loud also. So I think the electronics in this headset are great especially considering the price. I think the frequency spectrum of the microphone has been optimized for clarity of human speech, which is great for VOIP applications like Skype. But don't even think about using the microphone for high fidelity music or vocals. I don't think that is the intended application. And the headphones probably don't cover a wide spectrum of sound either.But it isn't going to win any awards for the thin plastic headband. It works, but I do think I'll have to be careful with it to make sure it doesn't break. As you can see, there is no headband cushion on top. The ear pieces pivot both horizontally and vertically to adjust to the shape of your head and ears. The cushion is very thin, so don't expect a lot of comfort after you've been using them for a long time. The microphone doesn't have any foam around it, but since the microphone is off to the side of your mouth, I don't think there is much concern for wind noise when talking indoors.I weighted my review heavily for the sensitivity of the microphone for VOIP applications. I need a microphone that is sensitive and clear, not so much a flat response high fidelity microphone. If you plan to use this product to listen to music or record vocals, I think you will be disappointed. But for me, I'm making this my default headset for Skype and Yahoo Messenger.Update: Somehow the amplitude of the microphone has dwindled. It is still adequate, just not as sensitive as when I first used it. Not sure how that could have happened.

These headphones are great to wear for extended conference calls that I have. Sound quality is excellent compared to the cheap ones I was given at work. I use these headphones together with my Google Voice account and I don't have any complaints so far.

I purchased this because I have a skype number and was tired of the poor sound quality when calling phones. I find that the sound quality is 100x better with this headset, almost akin to having an actual phone when calling telephones. I even used the headset to watch a movie. Although others have listed complaints, I have had no issue with the headset being too tight. I have a large head (usually have to buy size large hats...despite being a petite person) and it sits comfortably on my ears. All in all it appears to be sleek-looking, solid, and of decent quality for the price. Only time will tell...

This is not an expensive headset, so I didn't expect it to be wonderful. It works fine, after a year of fairly frequent use at my desktop computer. However, recently I have switched to using earbuds not just with my iPhone and MP3 player, but with my desktop and laptop, too. Earbuds are a lot smaller, more portable, and comfortable than a regular headset.

Got it for my gf; she says she likes it just fine. It seems study and comfortable enough, although her hair gets caught easily in the band. The sound quality is also great, and the mic is very sensitive - much better than the one that comes with the laptop.Just be aware that the headset comes with a two plugs you must connect into the computer, one for the mic and one for the headphone; its not USB!!! If your computer's headphone or microphone jack is busted, or if you only have a single jack that connects both headphone and microphone, this headset will not work!!!

This is a great little headset that I've been using to Skype while online gaming. Input and output are clear. The headset has a little nodule for you to flip the mic on/off and adjust the input volume. Obviously I wouldn't recommend it for professional sound recording, but for Skyping and general listening, it's swell.

They don't cost a fortune. They're Logitech. They fit comfortably. They're light and don't make my ear hurt after two hours of World of Warcraft. They're white and easy to find in the dark. Love 'em.

I bought this to play an online game so I could chat at the same time. I also use it to listen to audio books or online music so I don't disturb anyone. Works just great for my purposes. I'm no music sound expert, but I know a good deal when I hear it.

I tried to use these headphones to work from home. My job consists of taking phone calls in customer service. I could never get the headphones to work properly. It was either cutting out, the caller heard an echo or they could barely hear me or all three. I was constantly adjusting the settings and nothing worked. They are also very uncomfortable.

Honestly surprised to give such a low rating to a Logitech product, a company that I have never had a bad product from. But this headset was terrible; high static on the other end of the line, even worse than the laptop built in mic that I bought this to replace with. Sound quality was average. Fit is snug, but band feels somewhat likely to break. Returned promptly.

The headphones are okay and the sound is decent for the price but the mic is too short and static, you basically have to talk a bit loud so it can pickup your voice.Maybe people with loud voices will like it.

I'm on the phone frequently at work and of course use a headset. I'm told by my boss that my headset at work costs a couple hundred dollars. I have to say that I think this headset is just as good, although these ear pieces aren't as cushioned. Basically I wanted a headset at home and I didn't want to spend much money. I have a land-line, and when I'm doing my marathon phone sessions with my sister I want to be able to walk around hands free with my cordless phone in my pocket and a headset on my head.I'll talk to my sister for an hour or two with this headset on and it doesn't get uncomfortable at all. The microphone is loud and clear, I've never had any complaints that I can't be heard. I can also hear clearly through it as well. I love the volume adjustment knob, which I find myself using frequently, as well as the mute button, which is easily on hand.I've had this headset for awhile now, and for $20, I would definitely replace it if something happened. I have zero complaints and think it's a quality headset and quite attractive looking as well.

I generally like Logitech products. These are very comfortable and nice looking. However, the microphones do not work. The other party cannot hear me not matter what I do to adjust the audio gain.

Item works as described and is a good deal for the price($15.73).For me it has a comfortable fit and appears to be fairly well built.I get a clear sound through the ear pieces. Mic works and have had no complaints from the people I talk with. The volume control and clip is a nice touch.Well worth the price to me.

I pretty much expect that anything I get from Logitech will be comfortable and have a good substantial construction. Their products generally are very well designed. This is unlike so many other peripheral manufacturers, who have fought a hard battle to the lowest possible price, by thinning their product.So here I am rating a pair of headphones five stars, even though there are competitors priced much less.Here's why: these are very professional looking, and I intend to use them at the office. The comfort level of the foam on the ears is much higher than I was expecting. It's gentle and I can wear these for eight hours. Talking on the phone (I use Google Voice) is simple. I can continue typing and using my mouse, handsfree, without anyone hearing my conversation unless I want them to. I can also hit mute on the hardware, if I need to (and yeah, sometimes you really need to). For music, the sound quality is equivalent to typical stereo headphones from Sony.Unlike most headphones I plug into my computer, I do not hear any distortion. I think this is because the headphone's volume and mike mute unit also insulates the audio from unwanted interference.I want to be able to use a pair of headphones for several years, and just leave them in my office, able to rely on them. You could save money getting a cheaper product, but these aren't that expensive and you will be able to count on them and enjoy a better comfort level.

Is this what they mean by "noise cancelling"? Even your voice gets muted. It's pretty and quite comfortable. Sound is decent. What happened to the microphone's clarity and volume?

The headphones have decent sound, and the mic works well....but I cannot stand these headphones. You see I have sort of long hair, and every....single....time I try to take them off, they somehow manage to wrap themselves up in it, and it's almost as bad as having chewing gum stuck in your hair...over and over....by some sadistic imp that loves to see you pull your own hair out.If your bald or have short hair, these are probably great headphones for the price. If you have long hair, and value it, stay away from these....far, far away.

The Logitech headset works just great. I use it for my IM chatting and listening to music or video clips on my laptop. I'm told my voice is clear, and the voices of those I talk to are clear without sounding like they are coming out of a can. Very happy with this purchase.

Logitech makes some good products. They're innovative and they work well. Unfortunately their industrial designers (along with their brand designers) are stuck in the past (about 10 years in the past to be exact). Using the headset for conversations has been flawless since I upgraded to it from a battered fold-up GE headset and am perfectly happy with the functionality. But alas, they're bulky, not ergonomic, and they're stark white. There aren't too many situations I want it to be obvious I'm wearing a headset (I'm not working at a help desk and I'm not modeling in a picture of someone working at a help desk), so I'd prefer the equipment to be as discrete as possible. If you're more interested in the long connector wire, the durability, or the inline volume control and clip, this will be a great product for you.

My daughter is attending virtual schooling which requires listening to classes online and completing studies online. These work great. She wears them almost every day at the computer and they fit her perfectly (she's 10) so they can be adjusted down to fit a child's head. She has claimed them as hers so I haven't been able to use them myself. I also like the fact that they microphone arm is rigid without the foam covered mic at the end. I have a headphone/mic that came with the Rosetta Stone program that is bendable with the mic with foam cover. It seems I could never get the mic far away from my mouth...to the point where it seemed it was pressing against my lips. Needless to say, that is aggravating. This headset also has a volume control on the headphones which is a nice extra. The mic also can turn either way if you would prefer having it on the left side or right. All in all I think they are pretty nice headphones and work perfect for online schooling.

I always like to have several pair of headphones around. I plug these into the computer and get a nice sound, even for the Itunes music! But, mostly, I will watch movies or Netflix movies and shows. This way, I can do so in private.Great for my IPOD! Although I need to turn the headphones up higher for the IPOD, I still get a nice clear sound. I like the feel on my head, not heavy and they stay in place with plenty of head movement.Another thing I use this for is the Webcam, Logitech VideoCam. I like the way the sound is, and I can raise the sound, and mute the mic also. The mic can be used on the left or right side. I also appreciate that the mic is not too close to the mouth.As far as the noise canceling, it is moderate. If I turn the sound too high, then of course I down out any sound outside.I like these!......Rizzo

The Logitech H150 is a decent product. Inexpensive, yet functional, good sound quality on both the earpieces and the microphone, and comfortable.I would find these adequate for Skype or other PC to PC audio communication. I've used them in a room where others are talking and they seem to do a god job canceling out background noise.The headband is adjustable and the mic can be worn on either side. The mic also rotates so you can adjust it up/down closer/father from your mouth. The H150 also has in line controls so you can adjust volume/mute etc. right from the headset.The H150 connects with conventional 3.5mm input/output jacks. They are stereo, if you care!A decent headset- nothing to get too excited about - but they do have a 2 year warranty and if other Logitech products are any indicator, reliability should be good.

This is a decent headphone with good sounds quality. It uses analog jacks for bot the mic and earphones. I'd refer USB if I had a choice. My Gigayte motherboard has difficulty detecting the microphone input when it is plugged in.

Logitech makes decent products. And while it is a decent product, the H150 Headset isn't what one could consider a high end audio product. Made almost entirely from plastic it looks and feels cheap. The earphones themselves feel like they are made from cardboard (they probably aren't, they just feel that way.) Given this construction I am not sure how long this headset will hold up.That said, it must be acknowledged that looks can indeed be deceiving. The sound from the headset, while not Sennheiser or Koss quality, is perfectly acceptable for computer, smartphone or tablet listening. The microphone doesn't get in the way and offers Skype and gaming capability. And when you factor in the cost, the Logitech H150 Headset is a reasonable product at a very decent price.

This product seems to work alright with the headset portion, but any attempts to boost microphone gain are sadly ineffective. The microphone works, but is designed to cancel all noise including your voice, so unless you tilt it towards your mouth (which is not possible unless the headset is on wrong), then it won't pick you up. This is with all settings maxxed out in Windows, the application I am using, and the mic. We bought two, and both headsets had weak mic pick up. Would not recommend.

Lousy headset. Could not train it on Windows 7 speech recognition. It has an echo in the speech / almost a reverb and a whistling sound. I tried all the adjustments in windows configuration. Never improved, only got worse.

I know these type of headsets are not supposed to sound amazing, but sound does feel flat compared to my Sennheiser EH 250. These are perfect for talking on Skype or other voice communication services (the person on the other hand could hear me perfectly), but I wouldn't use them to watch movies.However, compared to my Sennheisers these are very light. You can barely feel them while wearing them. I do love their looks though. They look better when holding them than they do in the pictures. :)

I was impressed with the treble to bass range of the speakers in this headset. I transfer music and add narration to my vacation movies that I am editing and then burning as DVDs so I can watch them on my TV. I purchased a SYBA Stereo Adapter that plugs into my USB hub and then I plugged the Logitech microphone and speaker jacks into the other end. Perfect sound and narration using "Generic USB Audio Device" as the source of the line in and line out ports.

Bought this headset for basic communication using Skype. Works great for that as both headphones and microphone are very clear. The added bonus is the fact that even music and movie playback sounds very good considering this is a basic headset with a very low price!

I used this with my (Dragon NaturallySpeaking Home, Version 11). It came with a headset, but this one is better. It is well made. The mic boom swings perfect on a swivel. It is also short so it is not distracting. The only issue I have is: it is a bit tight on my head. I have a small head as well. After long usage, it bothers my ears. I can't bend it out because it is made of plastic. I dropped a star for that. Otherwise perfect.

I've been using this headset for a few days now and I'm really happy with the sound quality of the headphones. I'm deployed for the military right now halfway across the world and my wife said that it sounds like I'm in the same room with her so that's a huge plus! Setup is simple, just plug in the red and green cords to your computer and go. Initially, the headset wouldn't identify on my computer, but as soon as I reloaded my audio drivers, it worked great.

I have been using the Logitech Stereo Headset H150 for a couple of weeks now and am very pleased with it. The colors are nice, which, in my opinion, makes the headset look more professional and it is comfortable to wear.I think the quality is quite good (I have had positive experiences with Logitech products in the past) and the clear, undistorted sound is another big plus for recommending it as a purchase.

This headset is almost a designed only for laptop. I don't think I would want to attach it to my tower desktop as it is difficult to plug it in and remove it under the table. I used this headset with both my Windows laptop and Macbook pro. It worked flawlessly in Skype and listening to music. Sound is very decent.How long it last is another matter. Only time will tell. But for the price and how it works, it's certainly a good buy.

Good for those long conference calls because they are light weight and won't hurt even after a couple hours.Occasional cut-outs on calls, but not sure if that's the phone connection or this. Others said they were able to hear me just fine.

Clear sound, very comfortable and surprisingly sturdy considering the price. My daughter is using my H530 and it is also an excellent headset, but it has always felt too bulky when I wear it for extended periods of time. The sound quality on this one is very comparable and I like the smaller ear cups. I'm pleasantly surprised that I didn't have to spend more than $20 to get a headset of this quality!

Good value! As described. Excellent service. Earphone sound quality is excellent. Microphone is very sensitive and covering the microphone with a small piece of foam improved recording quality. Recommended for someone looking for quality at a fair price.
