the C920 stinks compared to the C910... image quality is far better on the C910.... the C920 is washed out and soft...

This camera has a 3.0 MP camera - little more than 1/2 the c910. This camera has stereo microphones but, the USB doesn't decode to stereo - it's MONO.I returned it.

ditto on the last two reviews - i plugged it into my mac mini, no drivers to install, no software to install, and it works flawlessly! resolution is awesome.

I had to search for and upgrade to the Skype 5.8 beta to get HD video. But once I did I got a great wide view of my living room. The auto-focus is sufficient for holding something up to the camera for a closeup. A good option for family calls with a six year old.

Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920, 1080p Widescreen Video Calling and Recording (960-000764) by Logitech is an excellent Wedcam of a high quality. It works as advertised and is a joy to operate.

Our son and daughter-in-law live a thousand miles away. With our new grandson, we needed a good way of seeing him grow. The web camera they had provided a less than desirable picture. We purchased and sent this camera and are so pleased with how clear the picture is now.

Bought it to replace the earlier model. primary use is for skype. A very good buy for everyday skype calls in a corporate office. offers good resolution on a 60" TV.

This is a top of the line web cam. There are issues concerning true HD. I guess it has to do with the medium used for broadcasting. I got it on sale, so I'm satisfied.

Best Webcamera in the market now, newest technoligy, works for both Mac and PCI have C910 and very happy with it, so I upgraded to this C920 when it's released. It works perfectly with both my HP laptop and my iMac 27 i7.

I am very happy with this purchase. The Logitech Webcam Pro 9000 is like brand new, completely plug and play so I didn't have to run the software disc as it has Windows 7 drivers;) Very pleased with this purchase.. thanks!!

As good as computer video cameras can be! I like the design because I easily used 2 sided foam tape to attach it to the back of my monitor. It's unobtrusive and easily adjustable over the top of the monitor.

I am extremely happy with this Webcam - it gives excellent quality audio and visual. There is one thing that it does that I can probably correct once I take time to read the instructions, but the camera seems to zoom in and zoom out at will. It was easy to get started with it - just plug and go.

I purchased my 9000pro a couple years ago and am still using it! The built in mic is sensative and picks up pretty well (about 3ft away) and has good picture quality. Some of the settings should be turned off, like rightlight (which helps brighten up a dark room) as it causes the camera to lag. With it off, I have no lag and a very clear picture.They include a lot of nifty filters for use with the webcam, like face distortions, or privacy screens, but they don't seem to work with web based applications like meebo, chat-roulette, imo.im, etc. They work fine in skype though.Install was easy, windows 7 just matched up the divers and I was good to go. Even install on xp was simple and straightforward. Highly reccommend ths camera.Other notes: another reviewer on here runs an intel setup, and stated s/he had issues thusly. I run an amd setup and have had no issues. May want to keep this in mind if you prefer intel to amd.

This web camera installed quickly and with no difficulties. Works with Windows 7. It has worked perfectly for the last year. I have no complaints.

That's true. This webcam does not work for Windows 7 64-Bit. Might be okay for older XP. Spent time with "support" at Logitech over the phone. They had no idea. Claimed I was running AMD. Nope, it's Intel dual core.

Despite being a computer programmer for... longer than I can now apparently remember, I have never been someone with much desire to be on the leading edge of computer technology. Let somebody else try it out, help work out the bugs, and come up with a convincing argument for why I need such and such a thing, and I'll THINK about it... for a few years. Thus, I was late to get on the Internet, late to buy a home computer, and laughed out loud at the thought I might ever want or need a web cam... until now.As a still camera, the QuickCam Pro 9000 can take better pictures than my old and long gone digital camera, though at maximum resolution you'd better content yourself with emailing them one at a time. However, it is not a complete substitute for it because even with a very long extension cord that desktop will get heavy in a hurry.As a video camera, the QuickCam Pro 9000 is truly amazing! At maximum resolution people only familiar with older generation web cams will be openmouthed with astonishment, and viewers of the resulting videos will be able to make educated guesses about their dental health. It has a "Face Tracking" feature that can be set to follow one face or multiple faces and will do so quite well no matter how the subject(s) move, though the resulting video is not recommended for anyone susceptible to motion sickness.In short a person who did not think he needed a webcam now wonders how he ever did without it.Defects? Well, the software that comes with it is more than a little buggy; you WILL want to download the latest software from their web site, which cleared up my problems. I also don't like the fact that you can select only a single image size for both still and video because only the three smallest image sizes work for both still and video. If you select any of the five larger image sizes for taking still photos, you will have to reset it for taking videos and vice versa, which since the newest version of the software finally saves my settings between runs, is more than a little annoying. (Note: the latest version of the Logitech software has added two more video image sizes: 1.3 and 2 megapixels, leaving only the three largest image sizes as still photo only.)A nice accessory would be a tiny protective carrying case because it is small enough to haul with you on trips. The original package will do the job, if you opened it carefully enough, but it is too bulky to fit well in a suitcase.Note: a more expensive Mac version (apparently because certain features available to PC's in software must be replaced by hardware) is now available: Logitech QuickCam Vision Pro. Word is that there is some cross-compatibility, but I wouldn't count on it. Purchase the one that is compatible with the machine you will mostly be using it with.

The title says it all. I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit operating system running on an Intel i7 920 processor. Logitech's camera software will not install correctly. You can't get a picture at all. I spent over an hour on the phone with Logitech Support and also corresponded via emails. The net effect was no help. Their software gives Script Errors, Not Win32 application errors, and it thinks I am running an AMD 32 bit processor. Don't buy this product for use on an Intel Windows 7 machine. I does not work. I will work fine on the obsolete XP operating system that I no linger own.Aric

It turns out there are presently THREE Pro 9000 MODELS. Two bear the name "quickcam" and one is called "webcam". These are the formal names used by LOGITECH - not by retailers like Amazon. The earliest quickcam model has a LOGITECH product code of 861464-000 (found on a tag on the USB cord). An upgrade to that model has a Product code of 860-000109. The latest upgrade carries the new name (WEBCAM) and has a product code of 860-000228.
