I was looking for widescreen format, HD capability and omni-directional sound - I found them all in this unit. The lens really makes it. For the money you just can't fint a better webcam. Thank you Logitech.

I love the camera and the quality of the build and the picture. I had some trouble with win 8, but it seems to be working better now. I use it for skype and for oovoo, works well with both.

Using for Skype. Figured my built in camera on the laptop was crap so I saw this on sale and jumped on it. The folks we Skype with say it's quite an improvement so that's good. I didn't install the LT software so I haven't done any recording so no opinion on that. Maybe some day. Versatile mounting as well.I was suprised how small the camera is. For some reason I assumed it would be bigger. Not complaining though. I like this camera.

A flagship webcam: the optics are good, the low-light is good, the microphone is good. For the next revision, it would be nice to get a wider angle lens (which I think is the focus of the c930b business version of this). For the consumer space, until something new comes out, this is the best webcam you can buy.

I absolutely love this camera. I use it for business, specifically Google Hangouts, everyday and for YouTube video recording for SEO marketing. It's a great deal. I set mine up on a mini-tripod and it couldn't be better.

We purchased two of these for corporate use, with Skype as an alternative to expensive teleconferencing software. The webcams sit nicely atop our flat panel monitors. Installation is straightforward. I chose a basic software installation, since we do not need the Logitech VID features. Connected to Skype with no difficulty. The video quality, in our office environment, is exceptional and the sound is very clear. Highly recommended. We liked these so well that I purchased a third.I wish Logitech would make a comparable quality unit with full software support for Mac OS.

for me mainly for it's working in my two OS, like Ubuntu ([...]) and booting for games Windows. on Ubuntu (64-bit) it works without do anything. on Windows XP (32-bit) it goes work without do anything too, but in newly installed Windows 7 SP1 (64-bit) drivers can't be installed with saying "Refuse". so i installed driver from logitech.com and use it's driver, so it goes to work. it is some strange, may be in other windows 7 it will be better. quality in Ubuntu like on Windows. checked with last stable release of skype for linux.

Devive does excelent video, but is poor that it needs drivers (100mb download at that) for just the most basic webcam capability. Many of the lesser models are plug in and go. does not pack well for a backpack or similar if you travel a lot. Its a much better deivce on a tripod vs monitor mount.

Little to no set up. Just added a layer in my XSplit setup and I became a Streaming Sensation. Ok, maybe not that last bit, but it is still an awesome cam. Working on a greenscreen for it now.

There is a reason that many people into live streaming are using the C920. It offers the best value on the market today for an HD webcam.If you are considering a Microsoft product instead... go with the Logitech C920. You will not be dissappointed.I own 3 of them, I have tested live streaming using multiple C920 at once for multi camera live streaming.I also purchased one for my father so he can do web chats with the family.Get one.

This is one of the highest quality web cams out there, IMHO. I love this webcam. Stereo sound and hires is awesome. If you plan to use this for Skype or Face time you won't be disappointed. I get comments on how good the mic quality is on calls. It has features to support some security applications, such as wake on motion, which was not part of my original buy decision but I'm now considering taking advantage of.

We bought this by referral of our IT guy. We are setting up a telemedicine room in our clinic. My IT guy has put it through many types of tests using different services for online use. There is little to no "streaking" (what he calls it). We had talked about the lighting in the room before set up thinking that the overhead (fluorescent) or the window direclty behind the desk would cause interferance but we have had no problems!

Picture is great and the software is easy to install. I had thought that a cheaper camera would suffice, but please don't buy anything with less quality. I went from a good web cam to one that was cheaper and I could barely make out my own image and the smear was terrible with any movement, so I when I got this camera it restored my belief in Skype for example.

It's a very easy to configure cam. Within 5-10 minutes, you can have it running and enjoy the quality of the lens and the sound on Skype and Messenger. Given you already possess the system requirements to handle the cam, the videos you can make with it will come out quite fluid, without any lag or sound glitch. There is a wide variety of settings for quality, resolution, and image capture. Very handy for conference meetings online or for making your own videos. If you're a regular web cam user, then consider getting this one. It will last you a while.

This camera is great, it was easy to install (plug and play) but the Logitech Webcam Software...(not the drivers) but the software is not yet compatible with Windows 8. Maybe someday they will make the software for Windows 8 but for now it's not really that much of a drawback cause you still get all the benefits of 1080p streaming over Skype or whatever other video chat you use.

There was some reviews says that this model has not so good picture as previous one - it is not true. Picture is very sharp and clear. Easy installation. Also grip is very good, you can attached on the top of monitor (I placed it on the LG LED monitor which really thin without any problem). Logitech next excellent product.

This cam installed nicely, takes great, well exposed video and stills, and is easy to use and has lots of options too. Recommended for anyone who does a lot of webcamming.

Setup in Windows 8 was a no brainer - worked first time with all my apps; Skype, Google Talk, and so on. The clip is interesting; at first I didn't think it would clip to the top of my desktop monitor, but it stays there nicely and is adjustable. I haven't tested the sound yet but the video is really good.

Someone told me to get this webcam because it would take such great videos. I find that to be an overstatement. I am now sorry I did not buy one of the inexpensive cameras that are not for the computer. Something like the flip if the flip was still available. Very sorry I bought it and even more sorry I did not return it when I could have!
