I bought this thinking it was going to work on my Mac for doing a Google Hangout meeting.It did not work at all.I will see if downloading something will help, but there is just no support at all within the book or the documentation online.It does not seem responsible that it is labeled as supporting Mac here.

Love the quality and audio on this camera when doing live web streaming. Also works well in use for recording video interviews without hauling around havey audio/video equipment.

with the motion sensor in the software, the cops were able to id the thugs that broke into my house. i would highly recomend this to any one. and the picture is awesome!

If you have the bandwidth to take full advantage of this little webcam, you'll be impressed with the quality it delivers. It offers a combination of 1080p resolution, a Zeiss lens and good autofocus. It also has a stereo microphone--a bit of overkill for typical chat use--but nice to have.The camera is designed to be mounted in either of two ways. It will attach to a standard 1/4-20 tripod bolt--good for budget video productions and assorted other uses. It will also mount on a monitor. Unlike my previous webcam (an older Logitech), the camera has a wide enough clamp to attach to the large external monitors of my Mac Pro. Once in place, the camera will swivel up and down. It will not rotate side-to-side. This is a minor drawback when you're framing an image. Lowlight performance is good. I do wish the camera had a control for adjusting white balance: colors lean toward yellowish in my basement office.I've used this webcam both for Skype and Facetime. It works nicely in either one. Logitech also includes software for their own video chat service. It's unlikely you'll need it, but it's there just in case.I was a little late to the party when it comes to video chat. But I'm making up for lost time. It's a lot of fun to have a face-to-face with family around the country. It's been equally useful for business conferences. You couldn't do much better than this little Logitech to put your best foot forward.

I have use the camera 2 times and found the pictures were really good. I haven't found out how to adjust the camera. The webcam controller doesn't respond to my clicks. I'll have to go to Logitech and find out what the problem is.

This is a very good webcam. Very good resolution. Very clear images. I bought this camera to for my kids to use with Skype.

We have been using the prouct for a couple of months. Great sound and picture quality! Plug and play for both Windows 7 and XP and attatches to various monitors easily and with great stability.

The price was a bit high, but the quality of video is amazing. I've been doing skype since 2001, and I am finally really starting to feel like I could reach out and touch the person on the other side of my screen.

The video quality on Skype calls is excellent. However, I tried to use this device when calling several (audio-only) teleconference bridges (via Skype). I have received numerous complaints from both my customers and my boss that they simply could not understand me. Using exactly the same software and hardware, but switching over to my now ten years old Plantronics headset solved the audio problem.. Very disappointing given the cost of this device...

I've previously used this product for one of my old jobs and have not decided to purchase one for use elsewhere. It's a small camera that is deceptively powerful. Great imaging and recording quality! You can't beat it for the price...

I am using more and more video and audio conferencing, and the quality of the built-in devices of my laptop is limited. The camera has two microphones built in which helps to filter out environmental noise. I use it with a headset to avoid echo and to make it possible to hear the remote party crystal clear. The video camera has a great resolution; however the main point is that I can put it at the top of the monitor, so that the video communication becomes more natural. I don't understand how companies can still buy expensive video conferencing equipment when powerful USB devices are available, and the Logitech works great for me.

I purchased this camera for my Mac Mini from Best Buy today. I was worried because so many user reviews on different websites complained that the Webcam was *Not* Mac Compatible. Simply Not True.First Off I am running OSX 10.8, so here is what I did 1) Took it out of the Box 2) set it on top of my Monitor 3) Plugged it into the USB port. Then I launched every single one of these apps (FaceTime, Skype, Yahoo Messenger, PhotoBooth, iMovie and Quicktime). These apps all did what they are expected to do, be it record video and/or take photo's. The quality is pretty amazing, it's clearer than the camera on my iPhone 4S. I'm not really concerned with the controls and such but just in case I decide I want to play with those down the road I downloaded iGlasses to adjust the camera settings.

This ia an upgrade from a Logitech Webcam I purchased several years back. I selected it specfiically for it hidef properties and integration with Skype.The results have been amazing. Callers who see me using the new webcam, regardless of the type or quality of the PC they have notice the difference.Unless the standards for video defintion are raised again, I see myself using this camera for the years to come.One dissapointment: My previous Logitech had a Zoom feature. This product does not. Would be great to see that included in future updates on the product supporting software.

Just plug it in, windows 7 installed the rest of the drivers and worked perfectly afterwards . Would recommend highly.

I plugged it in to a Windows 8 computer usb port and was up and running without loading any discs. I did not have to make any adjustments outside of moving the camera around for the best view which did show on my tv ( my tv is my computer monitor at 60" plasma). I had a great family Christmas party with relatives that could not come in that great big tv screen.

Given as Christmas gift. User set it up and used it multiple times both locally and internationally. I've been told it works well but I have no information on set up or use as to problems or ease of use. Assume all is well as user would have let me know if there were problems. Delivery was as advertised during holiday season.

Works as expected. Arrived on time. Easy to install. Camera has built in microphone, and if your speakers are already working (like mine were), then you will hear live sound along with live video.

I use this webcam with my Mac Pro and it works perfectly. No drivers needed. The audio and video quality are awesome. It works with Skype, Photo Booth, iMessage, iChat, and any other app that uses webcam and microphone.Extremely easy to install (just connect it to a US port). On windows I think you need to install some drivers and software.This also works on my MacBook Pro. Both of my Macs are running Mac OS 10.8.2.

i fell victim to Amazon upselling me from the c910 that i was originally going to purchase to film a memorial service that some people couldn't attend. Unlike the c910, there are NO Mac drivers (as of November 2, 2012), meaning you can use it in PhotoBooth, but not iMovie, FinalCut, etc...PB is NOT intended for 2 hour video recordings...That said, the image quality on the PC is FANTASTIC. Included software gets the job done with a minimum of muss & fuss.

Put on kitchen computer & works great! We can Skype with our far away family while cooking dinner. Amazing quality.
