Great value and HD quality
I had inherited my son's LG tv when he flew the nest and it's done a great job over the years but finally wore out so bought this one. Very good value for money and the picture quality is great. Easy to set up and add more apps such as Disney +.. if you need a tv but can't spend a fortune this one is perfect.

tv screen damage!
Poor quality, tv arrived with screen damage! . Unfortunately we only notice this yesterday when we opened this to install on my son's bedroom and when we turn on the TV the screen mas damage! really disappointing as we bought this during Christmas time to give my son a present for this birthday which is now! We have emailed yesterday and still waiting to hear back! we requesting a new TV that is working and on a excellent condition! we want to return this as soon as possible. Please respond as soon as possible.

Brilliant TV
Was nervous about getting this TV but since using it and trialing all the features I cant say that I have encountered any problems yet. Screen quality is excellent and so is the sound. Great Value for money.

Cracking TV
Bought this TV for work and it’s great! It’s so easy to set up! Has a built in step by step guide which allows you to tune all channels, set dates and times etc. Easy to set up and screw the legs in (very sturdy) when you plug a games console in the smart features decide which screen setting it would best suit so you get best picture quality (even when you change games) awesome TV and well worth the money. Only down side is the box. The carry handles are well down the side so makes it difficult for a 1 man lift.

Utter garbage, slow, poor sound, Amazon pairing is pointless!
Absolutely terrible. No matter what settings we change the sound is awful. Either too much background sounds or too much front sounds - you don't get an in between. On many programmes the content blurs when there's motion being shown, just like the first flat screen lcd types. We're not tech shy so we know what we're doing. Had it setup for under a week. It's going to be going back. Watching it now the sound is out of sync with the picture. Box arrived in tatters too. This will be a second TV returned to Amazon. First was deystroyed in transit, now this one is utter garbage.

Excellent value and quality
Extremely satisfied with this television, amazingly clear picture, I had read reviews before stating that it was not as good as expected and was difficult to set up, I must say I am a pensioner and a bit of a novice when it comes to technology but I found it to be the opposite, so easy to set up if you can follow instructions and a wonderful picture. The smart features are easy to use and all in all I am very pleased with it. One thing to be aware of is the positioning of the stands, you will need a fairly long stand for it. I bought the magic remote separately as you need it to access all of the features, Alexa etc. The remote supplied with it will not do all of it and was slightly disappointing as I thought that the television should come with the appropriate one. Having said that I am certainly very happy with my purchase and would gladly recommend it.

Great picture & sound quality for a £300 TV.
Just got it last few hours. Set up easily. Feet/stand is a bit flimsy, but fine (for the money).
Picture quality is amazing, (thought I might have to get a better than standard hdmi cable to appreciate it.).
Sound quality is superb, no need for a sound bar.
Remote is a bit poop but does the job, can always get a better 1 if to bothered.

Awesome Picture, don’t forget a Magic remote purchase if you want to use Alexa!
Picture is fantastic to what we were used too. I upgraded our TV package so upgrading the TV was a must.
The Alexa part of the TV can only be used if you purchased an additional magic remote! I found this to be very annoying as it’s another £30. The remote that comes with the TV it may be just my remote but sometimes I have to press the buttons more than once other than that the TV is pretty easy to set up and has everything I need.

Item was damaged - picture was jumping on screen and had a "blob" in the corner of the screen.
Completely useless. Have to wait 2 days for a replacement.

It came with a massive crack in
i ordered it to come the next day. it ended up coming a few days later. Then i opened it and discovered a massive crack in it so obviously wasnt treated with care. Then i requested to return to then find out that you have to pay£40 to return it as postal charges. so its alot of hassle. THIS IS A DON'T BUY :(

Caution before buying
No instructions came with this TV and it needs them.
Remote control is totally different to the one showing and the instructions do not make sense.
Without the 'Smart' remote set up none of the smart TV functionality is available.
Considering returning at present but am undecided.

Poor connectivity
Easy to set up with lots of features. Extremely poor connectivity, I'm yet to find any way to cast to it effectively, on the odd occasion it does connect (using phones that work well elsewhere) it's patchy to the point videos are unwatchable. Similar issues with the Internet browser, it takes so long to load a Web page it's not worth using. The Netflix app works about 50% of the time and the amazon prime one (the reason I bought this specific one) less than that.

Alexa Not Working
I bought this TV because I have an Amazon Alexa and the TV has the Alexa features and states you can link it to your existing Alexa. I spent 3 days trying to get the Alexa to work on it but to no avail, we finally got in touch with LG who said there was a problem and would come back to us with a solution, that was 2 weeks ago and we are still waiting. Although the quality of everything else is great with the TV, picture, sound and other functions it dose not make up for the fact that one of the biggest selling points they used was the Alexa feature and its not working.

Not so smart
49UN71006LB 2020 version. My first Smart TV, had an old plasma one for years, so purely on quality of picture and sound...Brilliant, a huge upgrade there. I was a bit unhappy at the total lack of any catch up apps (At time of review)..I should have researched more, but just expected that they would be there, can't even download them...So, TV works fine, just hoping for BBC iPlayer etc support in the near future.

Awesome TV
It’s just brilliant. Always been a Sony man. Got a 40 inch Bravia in 2014 which was awesome in terms of picture quality. This tops it I would say and is just far quicker in terms of the speed at which you can access Netflix / YouTube etc. Not much waiting around - just straight to the action.

This tv is amazing quality and picture. I'm so glad I made the jump. The sound quality is astonishing for a tv aswel. The ok only thing I will say which isn't bad is if your going to put it on the tv legs your going to need a big tv cabinet as they are about 46 inches wide and I had to go and buy a new one other than that all round amazing tv

Doens't support many apps
I spoke to LG support, as I couldn't believe it, but LG say they:
"haven't yet got approval for some apps - 2019 models have this, but not yet 2020 and don't know when or if this will happen".
This includes 'All 4' and 'Explore Freeview' among others. So you can't watch Channel 4 online.
Also can't record a channel to USB other than the one you're watching, which is pretty useless.
Returned.

A Very NIce Television
It has the usual list of niggles, it won't connect to this automatically, it struggles to see the upstairs TV despite the one LAN. It can all be solved with some router tweaking but not everyone knows these IP tricks. The picture quality is the best i've seen on a TV this size bar none. As usual with LG TVs the sound out of the box is no good really. I have it on my 5.1 system through optical and it is fine.

great quality - slow to move about
This has great picture quality and it does everything I need it to except for it to change to new menus quickly. This TV just is really slow and I know this is lower grade model and it was rather cheap but it just did not give me what I was looking for in a TV. however, I did not want to spend anymore money so I will keep this.

Absolutely love it!
I was a bit anxious waiting for this to arrive as I saw some reviews that theirs came smashed etc. However I had a very positive experience. It was easy to get on the stand that we ordered and is just great, picture quality is fab and sound is even better! Love it!

Cracked screen
Amazon delivered with a smashed screen so I had to return. The box was undamaged so it's likely the tv had been placed in the box when broken. I'm now relatively worried about ordering tvs over the internet due to this experience.

Great Tv
Very good tv, but that's no surprise, as i find LG TV's to be very good. Bit of a faff trying to find how to stop the tv turning its self off after 4 hours, did some research on YouTube, it's an energy saving design. But can be annoying. But once its turned off its great. Thats why I've put 3 stars for smart features as its not clear how to turn this features off.

Good TV modern features easy to set up. Remote a tiny bit small for people with larger hands - the buttons are quite close for me and I accidentally hit other buttons when trying to manoeuvre some of the smart features. But other than that very good
