Великолепно

This printer was easy to set up and use. I have had this printer for over a year and have encountered no problems. cartridges are easy to change. At the time I bought this printer it was rated well by consumer reports.

I can't even say how much ink we have purchased for "maybe" the total of 100 pages we've printed through the past year or so. Sure the scanning works well, but most people buy printers toooooooooooooo PRINT! Just last night, printed a few pages, the color was going downhill fast (again), then just 12 hours later, nothing will print anymore. Not even in black only. I will not replenish the ink in this printer and will not buy Lexmark again. Seriously, it's 2012, learn how to make a decent printer. I should go back to my year 2000 printer, it didn't have any bells and whistles like scanning/copying or wi-fi, BUT, at least it PRINTED 100% of the time and didn't gulp down the ink.

Do not buy this printer. The paper handing is poor, particularly the closing mechanism of the paper tray and it jams frequently in use. It uses a lot of ink and the ink patrons are expensive. If one of the ink cartridges run empty it refuses to print, even if you want to do a black and white print and you have loads of black ink left. The touch screen is unresponsive and cumbersome to use. I use it from an iMAC (the newest) and the driver installation is a pain and it is unreliable, loosing it,s configuration setting even keeping it locked. Printing is slow. The email scanning options are unreliable if you use it through a router. I bought this printer / scanner due to recommendations from the shop. I do not trust the shop anymore and I won't buy another Lexmark product for a long time. All in all not much to like here.

Product Features:This Lexmark Color Prospect Pro205 is an all in one (4 in 1) multifunctional printer. For less than $100, you get a wireless device which prints, fax, scan, and copies. It can also be directly attached to the PC via USB. Other features include 2 side printing, 35 page auto document feeder. It also comes with a 5 year warranty.Product Positives:This is a solid printer, well built. It's fast and quite. I love the wireless capabilities. It supports numerous PC's (I have four using its multifunction capabilities wireless). The print quality is very good. It has 4 printer cartridges. You can scan a document and/or picture to an email and PDF file. The installed software and toolbar are very helpful and productive. Other features include business card scan and memory card transfer and two side printing. It supports several types of memory cards.Lessons Learned:1)Printer setup is straight forward if you are using the USB connection. It's very important that you follow the directions, step by step.2) The wireless setup is bit more challenging. It's extremely important that you following the directions that are included in the network guide starting on page 6. The MAC id (if you used this in your wireless router setting) isn't included on the back of the printer. You must print the network information via the Printer LCD. The printer network setup is based on using the Wi-Fi Protected Setup. I tried on numerous occasions to setup the wireless function manually (SSID, passpharase, and key) via the wireless router; and it would NOT work. The printer wireless indicator on front of the printer was orange, and it stayed orange. I called Lexmark the 1st time and it took them 20 minutes to answer the phone (on hold listening to music). My call dealt with locating the MAC id (I use MAC filtering as an additional level of security on the wireless router). I called Lexmark a 2nd time and it took them 5 minutes to answer the phone. This call dealt with getting the printer to connect to my wireless network. The technician remotely connected to my PC, but he could NOT solve the problem. After sleeping on the problem, I thought the problem might me my router; and it was. My firmware was three releases behind...it wasn't supporting the Wi-Fi- Protected setup function. Once I updated the firmware and followed the instructions, the printer finally connected to my wireless network. One more point. I found it helpful to use the PIN # from the printer during the Wi-Fi Protected Setup.Lexmark Support:There is a special 800# for technical support. Lexmark can remotely take-over your PC (with your permission). I like this capability, but the technical wasn't helpful to me. But I can see the benefits to this feature.Economics:I purchased this printer at a large office supply store locally for $99. A week ago this product sold for $160. This is an excellent price given the printer's features and capabilities. I like the 4 printer cartridges feature as you replace only what's necessary to print vs. buying one large cartridge. The printer feels like a solidly built product.Summary:1) You must follow the directions2) USB interface is easy3) Wireless support requires you to follow the directions and your wireless router must support the Wi-Fi Protected Setup feature4) The installed software is good5) The print quality and speed is very good6) The scan feature is super7) Overall, this is a solid buy for less than $100.

I've owned this printer for three years, and am only hanging onto it because I was raised in a family that doesn't throw anything away unless it has been officially broken for more than twenty. Unfortunately this printer still works, but only if I feed it the finest foods, and regurlarly pat it on the head and tell it how great it looks under the flouresent lighting in my kitchen. It has also requested to be called "Sally".I bought this printer because of the price point for the features it has. And was really excited when I found out it could scan directly to PDF without having to manually convert files in a seperate program. However, these two features are far overpowered by the daily maintenance I need to do to get it to print anything. The price of the ink is outrageous (around $35 per cartridge), and it burns through ink faster than any printer I have ever owned. Don't even think about trying to print anything photo-quality or you will not be able to fill up your gas tank at the end of the week.The other insane issue that I have had with this printer is that it does not get along with my operating system (Windows XP). Every three days, a message box pops up and informs me that my Printer Communication System has quit working and has shut down. I've been on the phone with Lexmark tech support where they remotely accessed my system and fiddled with the driver. I just recently deleted and replaced the driver hoping for an update, but to no avail. So for the past three years, every two to three days I have to restart my computer in order to print anything. I hate to think about how many hours I have wasted this way.

I bought this printer for my office because of the low cost per page printing (Plus office depot had it on sale!) Although each cartridge doesn't print anywhere near 500 pages, it still prints at a lower price than the HPs I'd been using. I did have a problem with the printhead like many others but Lexmark sent me a replacement which has worked out pretty well. I've had it for about 176 days now and printed out 1511 pages, using about 5 black cartridges so far. Fax works fine for my needs, as does the scanner. Wish it could save my default scanner settings though as it takes time to retype that every time.

Had a print head issue after one year, and discovered that the 5 year warranty did not exist UNLESS you went online and registered the product within 90 days of purchase. So, the product only had a 90 days warranty. When I purchased the printer, I looked all over the package and enclosure documents to determine any limitations (i.e. registering within a certain amount of days) and I found absolutely nothing in writing. This warrants a class action suit because the company is basically reneging on the 5 year warranty which has hidden limitations.

I have the Pinnacle Pro 901 and have had the printer replaced twice. The scanner continually ceases to operate because it loses contact with the computer. The person at support says I should not use the front of the printer to print because it confuses the printer. When you have to wake it up, it takes forever. The printer gobbles the colored ink. I used to have the HP printers and the HP All-in-One also. Heard the Lexmark was supposed to be good. Never again.

I purchased a Lexmark Pro 901 last March, swept up by the lure of a $5 black ink cartridge. I have had one problem after another with this printer and am on my third print head, replacements shipped to me free from Lexmark. Supposedly this latest print head will solve the problem I had had of the ink bleeding out all over the page. That has not happened to date on the new print head. However, though the ink cartridges indicate ink levels at about half full, yesterday the printer simply spit out pages with only a shadow of text. This printer comes with a five year warranty and Lexmark has been very helpful in working with me on the problems I have had. But at this point, with yet another problem I am ready to throw in the towel. I need a printer I can rely on, and this isn't one of them. The only thing good about this printer is Lexmark customer service, but that doesn't print my pages.

Like most of the other reviews state, it works fine though slowly, and is an ink guzzler! Plus, I just went to buy a new cartridge at Rapid Refill and learned that you can only use each cartridge once so they don't sell refills. This is bad for consumers, bad for the environment, and a bad choice on Lexmark's part I think since I won't be buying anymore Lexmark printers for my business until they change their policy.

We bought this printer 5 months ago reading all of the great reviews and the claim it can print an X number of pages on an ink cartridge saving us time and money. This printer did neither!-First off, the printing quality is terrible, even out of the box. I always got lines throught my pictures and nothing I did would make them go away. MY 5 year old HP Printer sucked up alot of ink, but at least it gave me a good quality picture!-The 2 sided printing feature almost always never worked.-As of yesterday, my printer no longer works at all! When I send out a test print page through my computer it will print just fine, but anything else it will print 1/3 of the way through, then take it upon itself to cancel my print jobs! I can't print anything!!! My parents bought the same exact printer and it went out with the same problems around the same time as mine.I do not know where people are getting all of these good reviews from, but this printer has not stacked up to it's good ratings and reviews since the moment I received it. I will be calling Lexmark too see if I can get a full refund, and will never purchase another Lexmark printer again.

I bought this printer pretty excited that I was getting a good deal. All I can say is it is simply a unit for Lexmark to sell ink. I don't print a ton of pages but I would find the XL black ink would stop printing after about 250 pages or less. The software would say there was still 1/3rd of it left, but it would stop printing black.They sent me a new printhead and ink once, but I had the same issue. Lately I've become convinced that because I don't print a lot, the chips they put on the inkjet cartridges time out and decide I can't print any more.I'm looking to buy a good color laser printer instead... and it sure won't be a Lexmark.

We have three of these in the office and no problems whatsoever. Very good quality printer. Cost of toner is high, but if you calculate cost per page as compared to other printers, you will see that the it comes out to be cheaper than most others.

I replaced an aging tank-like Konica-Minolta color laser which never worked right and cost a fortune to maintain. This printer has worked fine with Mac OSX in a wireless Airport Express environment for two years. It did have a failed power supply for the fuser which gave error messages. It was fixed in home for free. I have been pleased with the cost of replacement cartridges. They seem to last longer than my former color laser and cost less than half to replace. You are replacing toner only, not an entire roller assembly. The toner is available everywhere. It is not fast at start-up nor when printing Adobe PDF's. I upgraded memory and added a second paper drawer. For some reason when the paper runs out on the top drawer, it does not automatically shift to the next drawer as other printers do. Maybe this is a software issue that I have not found.Pros: Less expensive toner replacement than others; Has worked with Mac OSX; Has a single feed slot; compact.Cons: Slow start-up time. Duplexing feature is external-you need to remove each page as it is processed so that the multiple pages do not get drawn back into the unit and jam. If you do a lot of duplexing, look elsewhere; does not automatically switch paper drawers when empty.

I don't often write reviews, but if I can keep someone from the headache of purchasing this printer, then I thought it was worth doing. I just packed up the second printhead thats gone bad and placed the defective one back in the mail. Even before the printhead problem, I disabled the duplex setting because I was tired of continually having to open up the back and dig out the jammed paper. Unfortunate, because duplexing, and saving paper, was one of the main reasons that I bought this printer. I also found the LED screen to be slow in responding. Overall, I have found owing this printer to be more of a frustration than anything else. I would strongly suggest that you look for another printer and save yourself the headaches and downtime.

Lexmark has a clever strategy - low cost of ink, which is very true. Since the printer doesn't work 1/2 the time - you use 1/2 the ink. Though when the networking problems suddenlty resolve, you get multiple copies of a document you (or your kids) just continued to hit "print" when it didn't work the first, or second, or third try. Another very clever ploy with the ink is in order to change preferences to draft mode, the interface takes at least 60 seconds to come up. So, you tend to print in normal mode and use more ink.

I purchased this printer because I went back to school. I wanted to print a lot of color powerpoints from my laptop. So I wanted cheap ink and a wireless printer.I bought it when it was priced over $200.00. The ink heads have gone out on it twice. We have wasted hours on Lexmark tech support only to be shipped rteplacement print heads. I have to have a back up printer because the printing is unreliable. I end up using my other printer or driving to school and printing my work there. It goes to sleep, so when it is time to print wireless, I actually have to get up, walk in the other room and wake it up. And it is a crapshoot if it will print wirelessly. Many times I resort to plugging it in. I had purchased one for my mom and she has many of the same problems. MY sister has one also and hers works OK. She has not had any problems. Plus, I have registered this printer and a window opens up to ask me to register it. How many times do I have to register it before it will leave me alone. I wish I stuck with my old color printer.

I, like some other reviewers, also liked this printer when I first got it home. It seemed to offer everything I needed, had a cool touch screen and wireless connectivity. I had no problems getting it on my wireless network and printing from OSX and Vista.Unfortunately, it took a couple months for the problems to arise (too late to return it). First thing was that black text started missing portions of random lines. The black cartridge was still 50% full, so I ran the clean printhead function. The text improved, but not 100%. I then ran the deep clean function. The text was now back to normal, so I thought it was no big deal. That lasted for a few weeks, then the same thing. The cleaning didn't do anything this time, so I had to replace the black cartridge even though it was still more than 25% full.About another month went by and the colors started banding. The printer utility showed the colors at about 30% full, so I again did the print head cleaning to no avail. I ordered new color cartridges and installed them which fixed it. At this point I had probably owned the printer for about 5 months and printed a TOTAL of 50 pages.Now I've printed maybe another 50 pages and the black is acting up again (still shows nearly half full). Cleaning the print heads didn't do anything, so I installed yet another black cartridge which solved the problem.It doesn't really matter if black cartridges are only $5 when they seem to last only a month or two regardless of the number of pages printed. I am done with Lexmark and it's time to try something different.

This printer and all in one machine is great in theory. You get a flatbed scanner, it can save to a SD (and other) memory card, print to email, PDF, and so on. IF ANY OF THE 4 CARTRIDGES ARE EMPTY, IT WILL NOT PRINT. NOT EVEN IN BLACK AND WHITE. Absolute garbage, don't buy this. Don't support their ink racket.

I was really impressed with the Lexmark Pro901 after initial installation. My printer was placed in service on Christmas Day, 2010, and worked great for about 3 months ...then noticed the print quality begin to deteriorate quite noticeably. Now, it is September, 2011, and the only colors this pile of waste will print are gray and yellow. After considerable time with Lexmark "support", discovered the problem lies with worn out print heads. I am surprised because I would consider the amount of usage quite light (roughly 2 or three copies per day on average).The support person was from the Phillipines and had trouble understanding English to the extent that my wife had to spell words quite slowly and speak redundantly. Bottom line: this model is notorious for print heads going kaput rather quickly--among other things. If you have one and can return it, by all means, do so since its functionality is on borrowed time. The great functions and any semblance of print quality will degenerate faster than you can say, "Over-hyped heap of junk with serious print issues". For the record, I have rarely bad-rapped any product in my reviews (for what it's worth). I can't blame Amazon --they are simply the retailer. Avoid!

I bought this printer in late 2010. It worked just fine for about 4-6 months. I don't use it a lot; maybe a couple of pages a week. All of a sudden I started having problems with the black ink. I was 1/3 way through my second ink cartridge since I purchased it and it would either only print 1 page before the ink became faint or not there or it wouldn't print at all. I communicated by e-mail with the rep who was very helpful. After "fixing" it I realized that if I printed more then 1 page the same problem occured. I spent some more time e-mailing the rep, and she had me download a "fix". That lasted for about 2 pages, now it won't print at all. Although this would be a great printer if it worked, I simply don't have the time and patience to continually have issues with something that needs to be basic and in the background doing its job. So I am taking my almost new printer, throwing it in the garbage, or recycling, and buying another one. It won't be a Lexmark.

I bought this printer based on ratings and repair history. I wanted to make sure it would work with my iphone and ipad in addition to my pc. it works great with the pc but not the apple products. Lexmark makes an App but all the app lets you do is print photos and websites. but the catch is, you have to put the URL into the Lexmark app (or browser, whatever you want to call it). print quality and fax use is great. but its not an AIR PRINT printer, thus you can't simply print emails for example from your Apple device. I hope lexmark offers a patch or software upgrade enhancement to address.

Received the printer in only 2 days as promised. It was easy to install - but then the real fun began. To register you have to print a page to obtain the serial number and SID. The printer printed only on the right side of the page, but the necessary info was all on the left side (I think - not sure as nothing prints on the left side!) We attempted several other pages with the same results - no printing on the entire left hand side of each page.We attempted to contact Lexmark for assistance, BUT its the weekend and no one is available. I need the printer on Monday AM but now will have to spend all day Monday on hold trying to figure out the problem, and probably have to wait another week while they send out a new printer because the first one they sent did not work. We chose this one based on reviews by Cnet and other reviewers, but they probably make the good ones for the reviewers and send the junk to the rest of us.Do you want to know how I really feel - I can stop holding back....
