Unfortunately not long after writing my review of how wonderful the sound is on these earphones, the sound in each ear diminished and I could no longer use them. I didn't mind the flat cord but these are not built to last. Shame. After these I bought the Rugged version of these and they are still going a few months later with even better sound. You live, you learn.

Great Quality, good buy. Awesome sound. Comfortable. Klipsch knows audio products. Cable is tangle free. microphone sounds good, Has a little mic noise when walking with them while on a call.

Who cares if its out of season? These headphones are great! I bought them for my boyfriend who is studying for the bar exam. He studies in place where other people are also studying, so it can get pretty noisy. Although these aren't noise cancelling, he finds that even if the volume is pretty low, he still doesn't hear the noise of the other people studying. He also wears them on his walk to work and loves the sound quality.

I bought this recently and it was dead on arrival. The left earpiece didn't work. I tried it on various devices and it still didn't work. I am currently requesting a refund/return of this product. If that goes well I will give Customer Service for this product 5 stars. As far as the product goes, it didn't work so I wll have to give it 0 stars. Overall, dissatisfied obviously. I hope to buy a better product that will actually work.

I like these headphones. They go very well with my iPhone and give a much superior sound than the set of 'phones the iPhone ships with. Having customisable rubber ends is a big plus for me because my ear cavity is small and most in-ear headphones pop out after a few minutes of use unless I jam them in real hard, which is pain. I like the case; it is not flashy, but it keeps everything in one place and not in an entangled mess in my pocket.
I have had two sets of headphones die on me. The first time the right 'phone stopped working and the next time the left (or was it the other way around?). Customer service was fast, and the replacements came to me in no time. I appreciated the service and the two year warranty, but I hope this is my last interaction with them!

I am very happy having a pair of headphones that don't tangle themselves into knots - the flat cable is very good. They are comfortable and the sound is fine- not startlingly good, as I would have expected from reading lots of reviews, but pretty good for the money. The only gripe I have with them is that there is a bit more cable noise than I would want; not a great problem but I try not to move the cable about too much as I use them.

Perhaps I have giant earholes. These headphones came with a few sizes of ear pieces and all of them were too small for my ears. I had to return them and ended up with a V-Moda set that fit great.

I've owned the previous versions of the S41 and always had problems with the cables tangling and becoming sticky after a while. The new flat cables may be a little thicker but this, together with the smoother texture of the cable makes it much less prone to tangling. And the sound quality is excellent for the price.

This is my third pair of Klipsch S4i headphones. I've generally had good experiences with Klipsh, but this pair makes a crackly noise on one side -- a small electric shock directly to the inside of the ear! When they aren't electrocuting me, the headphones deliver good sounding music.

Like: The flattened wire is perfect. It really helps to prevent the "pocket gremlins" that tie your headphones into a knot.
The audio quality is good, though not perfect.
Cons: The volume button doesn't work on my Nexus 4. But surprisingly the play/pause button does.
Other: My cat murdered them. (RIP 2014-2014)

I recently owned these headphones for around two months. At first, they were definitely a step- up than the headphones that comes with the iPhone 5. However, they is significant cord noise that can get annoying. Another problem that I had might be irrelevant but for someone who calls a lot, the microphone might seem like a hassle because its all the way in the middle of the cord. Unlike, the apple one that are located near the top, if you want to talk on the phone you must use your hands to hold it up. This could be troublesome for some. The sound quality is very good and it does a great job in canceling outside noise. However, in two months, one side of the earbuds were already defective.

I got this for my wife, she love it, but for those who are bass head look else where.
a good fit is required to bring the best sound out from this, may have to buy after market ear buds those come with does not fit me.

These sound great and block out a lot of noise. I can't even hear the music the gym is playing when I have these in. Very comfortable fit. I would buy again.

When I first used the headphones they had amazing base and good crisp sound! The only small thing is that the cord makes a little noise if your walking while listening to music, but other than that I love them!

This is my second pair of these - love the sound, love the fit, love the controls... but it's my second pair because the thin cable got snagged and ripped right out, destroying the first pair.
They do make a "Rugged" version of these with slightly thicker cabling - unfortunately they decided to include a bunch of "ugly" at no extra charge. Bleh. I'll just try to be more careful with these...

A bit of cable noise on cold days, otherwise very excellent earbuds
I had a pair of S4i earbuds for several years. I used them nearly every day on a commuter train to and from work. After several years they failed me by fraying at the stress points. The S4iII replacements have been just as good if not better. The silicone ear pieces fit exactly the same as the S4i. The sound is just as isolated, the base just has hard. The biggest change is the flat wide cable. This has already helped prevent the usual tangle I get each morning. However in cold months, in Chicago, the cables get less ductile. That is when I can actually hear the noise of the cables brushing against my coat. This is really only a problem if you are listening to very quite music or books while walking or running. If listening to normal music at normal volume it is barely noticeable.

Great little in-ear headphones. Fit my ear very well and the sound is great. I listed to podcasts on my walks and now I can hear them clearly and without the plug in coming out.

The sound is just as good as advertised, but there are a few problems with this product. They feel heavy hanging off the ears, and also while wearing them you can also hear scratching noises as the chord scrapes across your clothes. And also the chord feels grabby on your clothes so you feel it slightly pulling whenever you move your head. All and All I was extremely disappointed and would not recommend them.

Great little in ear headphones. I have bought countless pairs of the cheap disposable headphones at electronic stores and they have always just been "ok" . These headphones are terrific. First I must say that the fit is far superior to those old round ones you typically see. These seat in your ear very comfortably and the sound is amazing !
I will not be going back to those old cheap ones again !
