Недавно приобрели данную модель! Очень довольны! Качество видео порадовало, удобный интерфейс! Удачное сочетание цены и качества. Единственный минус, который замечен, но не считаю его весомым: съёмная крышечка на объективе, да ещё и без ремешка.

- + Очень маленький размер. Легкая, вопрос взять или не взять с собой не возникнет. Это моя первая HD камера, в сравнении с предыдущим Canon Mvx качество на порядок выше, картинка очень хорошего качества. Читал о большом количестве проблем с перегоном информации на комп с последующим редактированием, обработал файл скопированный с камеры в Sony Vegas 9.0, с последующим конвертированием в более широко используемые форматы, достаточно быстро и без глюков. Очень быстро готова к работе, буквально 1-2 секунды и можно снимать.

This review is for the JVC Models GZ-E10, GZ-HM35, GZ-HM40 and its variations.
Given the heritage of JVC products, my expectations were relatively high. Though I'm sure the unit is mechanically and electronically sound, I found the ergonomics to be disastrous. From other reviews I understood that the unit was small and not for those with larger hands. I felt I was safe because my hands are small.
However, this unit was small even for my hands - perhaps a good candidate for children. Here are the ergonomic weaknesses I found:
1. No matter how I positioned the strap, I could not seem to get a comfortable and useful grip on the device.
2. With the battery projecting from the back of the unit, it was nearly impossible for my thumb to reach the record button. I imagine it would even be worse with the extended-life (and depth) of the larger batteries. I suppose one could use the index finger of the right hand.
3. The Play, Up/Left, Down/Right, OK/Info, and Menu buttons run down the inside rear of the camcorder and are impossible to press with one's thumb. I found I have to use my index finger (or fingernail) from my other hand to press these tiny buttons. Though it would probably be too much to expect for the cost of this unit, it could have benefited from a pushbutton wheel with center OK as is popular with many digital cameras. Backlighting would also be helpful to identify the buttons, so don't expect to press any controls at Becky's recital without a flashlight.
4. The index finger is supposed to rest on the Wide/Tele lever. But just behind the lever is a rarely used button toggling between Auto and Manual modes. I don't know why this option couldn't have been selectable from a menu. I found I needed to use my middle finger to adjust the W/T lever so as not to accidentally switch to manual mode.
5. Speaking of menus, some functions are several levels deep. For example, one has to press buttons no less than five times to get to the focus function in manual mode (from auto mode.) And then the rough focus, (pressing and holding the tiny up/down buttons, and not using the lever as one would expect,) swept too large a range, and the fine focus performed by single presses of the buttons took an eternity to reach total manual focus. It helped to zoom in to the subject area for manual focus, and then zoom back for composition.
There was also a nuisance I should have taken heed from another user. This would have been a deal breaker if I knew what I know now. The resultant files this camcorder produces is not in a typical video format such as AVI, WMV, MOV, FLV, MPG, MPEG, or MP4. Instead, it formats video as MTS files (mpeg transport stream, supporting HD video reproduction.) This is fine if you want to watch videos directly from the camcorder or while connected to a TV or other video device. Trouble is, if you want to download the files and watch them on your computer, you have to locate and download an MTS viewer to watch them. Worse, if you want to convert the files to another format for editing and other purposes, you have to locate and download a converter. The converters I've found take about ten minutes to convert a four minute file. It doesn't take a math genius to calculate the conversion time for a half hour video.
About the only redeeming quality I found on this camcorder is its amazing 40x optical zoom. All said, if one can get around the ergonomic nightmares, this could be a good value as an entry level camcorder for the kids, grandkids, or adults with VERY small hands.

First, Im not comparing this to a $500 or even more expensive camera, it's not fair. It's like complaining my chevy aveo is slower than my friends camaro.
For the price you won't get external audio inputs or a wide range of manual camera features and recording options on most any camera. This camera only records at 1080x19020I or 720x480I, your only options are video bitrate. It is misleading on JVC's part to say it records at 1080x1920 since it only has a 1.5MP sensor, with that sensor it can only capture around 1440x900, the image is then resized and recorded to full HD. A typical SD camera will have around 0.3MP sensor, a true full HD sensor will have 2.1MP or more. This camera could have recorded true 1280x720 but oddly it does not have that option.
The bit rate ranges from around 24,000 (175MB / Minute) to 3000 (22MB / Minute). Unlike some off brand low cost HD cameras, this JVC is quick to focus and maintains focus while zooming. The zoom is variable speed, although the zoom button/slider is almost to small to control accurately. Overall, the video is ok to good quality, meets expectations for the price.
Since it records avchd, the video files are buried in the directories. Once you find them Windows media player and VLC player both play the raw .mts files from off the SD card in a card reader with no extra software. You can also upload the video files directly to youtube with no conversion. I dont see why some people are going though so many extra steps of using software to transfer and convert the videos just to watch them on their computer. Sony Vegas Pro will read/edit these files with no problem. I have not tried other programs, make sure they support avchd so you dont have to waste time and quality converting them. Since it's HD, you will need to bring the quality down to if you want to make a standard DVD, video conversion does take a good computer, if yours is only a single or dual core cpu, expect to walk away and come back later when it's done. If your serious about quickly editing the video, adding effects and converting them to other formats you should have a 4 core or better cpu. Mine is 6 core, 8GB ram with 4TB (4000 GB) hard drive space. A good video card will also unload the work from your cpu, given both your gpu and video editing software both support this feature.
One drawback on all jvc cameras are their smart batteries, they are not available as direct drop in's from the aftermarket sellers and very expensive. I bought a battery for a Panasonic for around $22, the same capacity sold by JVC would sell for around $69. You can get a kind of universal aftermarket battery, that fools the camera into thinking it's plugged into an ac power adapter, it may work but the battery life will not be displayed on screen. The battery that comes with this camera is only good for 45 minutes to 1 hour, but again this is the low end model. The more expensive models come with a larger battery.
In the end, if you need something near HD quality, light, low cost and something that will probably last, this will do the job.

I have the JVC GZ-E10AU. The 40X zoom is good, better then I thought. Face detection works. Don't mind the stabilizer, but I don't use it much. I have a 64GB SanDisk SD card in mine and setting at XP. On XP I get a little over 8house of video, if the battery would hold up. I get about an hour of battery time. Now I have taken a lot of video with this cam and have to say on playback on a 50inch Samsung flat screen the picture looks very good, even at low light. My video's are more family or kids parties. The only gripe I have is that the battery has a short life and the cam gets hot. Some video when taking something that is a distant view, it wants to focus on the near by things. With the change of technology, I'll be up grading soon. Then I'll be giving this cam to the wife.

I was three days away from vacation, when I discovered that I had only one battery for my new vidio camera. I Tried to find the battery here in Houston and was told the closest one was located in Austin and it would take a week to get it to Houston. I decided to look it up in my Kindle and found that I could get two batteries and the charger for less that it would cost it i got one battery from any of the Houston stores I had visited. I one clicked and was told I would have it in Two days (Prime). At noon on the day they promised, it was delivered to my address. Thank you.

This was a replacement a for small camcorder That we borrowed from Mother in law On our wedding trip,We think the original cord got picked up by mistake by the photographer. So we bought this to replace, even tho its not in our possession I plugged into camera it worked. Now for what its worth It seemed made well nice wires lights up when charging I think, Didn't feel like a cheapy.

Worst camera ever. Takes plenty of nice videos in some bizarre format that you cannot convert to normal DVD's or play on anybody else's computer. I have downloaded and installed all of the company's updates, including the one that claims to be for converting the weird format and burning normal DVD's, however after numerous attempts and constant computer crashes, I have given up. I read the other reviewer's advice on skipping a title for the disc and that does not work. My laptop still crashes every time I try to burn a normal dvd. What a waste -- a whole year's worth of family videos, which are unusable. That is some serious customer disservice. I HATE this stupid video camera.

I bought this camera a couple of months ago after my kids left my JVC 8mm tape camera outside in the rain! I was going to write a lengthy review about this camera but decided to just mention a few things, keep in mind that I upgraded from an old 8mm data tape camera,(which i was happy with btw). And I'm not hip on the latest and greatest technology. I had my reservations about buying a camera this cheap that promised so much. That said I am totally surprised !
I like: Quality is excellent, sharp, clear colors, sometimes almost looks 3D in the right settings. I use it to tape my kids birthdays and school plays etc, walks on the beach and things of that nature. I love just uploading the video to my PC and deleting the SD card, and burning a dvd! No more messing around with 8mm tapes. It's light and comact. 40x zoom is the bomb. I can't babble about resolution and pixels etc, but it doesnt matter, it far exceeds my expectations of a $200 camera. Performs outstanding outdoors, i cant say enough about the daytime outdoor quality, love it. I would HIGHLY recommend this to a friend or a casual family archiver. In my opinion if there are any negative reviews, they probably got a defective camera or they were expecting hollywood quality camera.
I don't like: It doesnt perform to its best in low light or dark indoor settings, doesnt have a still camera shot (which was rather annoying on my old cam anyway) but you can extract a still photo from any frame in the movie using the software. You should probably use a tripod when possible, it can get a little shaky. Battery life leaves a lot to be desired, as does charging time, (of course you can buy an extended battery if desired) I don't like the manual lens cover, it should open and close auto, eventually someone will leave it open and the lense will get scratched! The little menu buttons take some getting used to with my big fingers but my kids zip right through them.

I like: Quality is excellent, sharp, clear colors, sometimes almost looks 3D in the right settings. I use it to tape my kids birthdays and school plays etc, walks on the beach and things of that nature. I love just uploading the video to my PC and deleting the SD card, and burning a dvd! No more messing around with 8mm tapes. It's light and comact. 40x zoom is the bomb. I can't babble about resolution and pixels etc, but it doesnt matter, it far exceeds my expectations of a $200 camera. Performs outstanding outdoors, i cant say enough about the daytime outdoor quality, love it. I would HIGHLY recommend this to a friend or a casual family archiver. In my opinion if there are any negative reviews, they probably got a defective camera or they were expecting hollywood quality camera.
I don't like: It doesnt perform to its best in low light or dark indoor settings, doesnt have a still camera shot (which was rather annoying on my old cam anyway) but you can extract a still photo from any frame in the movie using the software. You should probably use a tripod when possible, it can get a little shaky. Battery life leaves a lot to be desired, as does charging time, (of course you can buy an extended battery if desired) I don't like the manual lens cover, it should open and close auto, eventually someone will leave it open and the lense will get scratched! The little menu buttons take some getting used to with my big fingers but my kids zip right through them.

I received the batteries and charger for my JVC camcorder when promised. I have charged and used the batteries. They seem to work well. The charger is great because the plug in folds into the charger. It also came with a car adapter. These products have a 2 year warranty. I looked at similar products that would be sent directly from China or Hong Kong but they took 4 to 7 weeks for delivery and had just the Amazon 30 day guarantee. They were cheaper but it concerned me that there was no warranty.

There is only one reason to buy this camera and that is for the 40X Zoom. Often I will buy a video camera for just one reason, a specific feature just like a carpenter may have more than one type of hammer. I bought this for the 40X zoom. Given that, you have to use it with a tripod, no way you can hold it or any camera steady for that kind of zoom. The menus are awful, it is not a touch screen which I miss from my other cameras. If you need an inexpensive 40x zoom camera then ok, otherwise skip this camera altogether.
I used this camera for filming butterflies on a butterfly bush. It is on my YouTube channel, I go by the name of beekalmer. The zoom was great and the color and detail were more than I hoped for. It was a bright sunny day. I have also used this camera for several other projects that required a lot of zoom and I was happy with the result, but remember, you need a lot of light and a tripod.

I ran into problems and there were not enough explanations in the included paper work to find out how to correct the situation.
I read the booklet that was included a number of times. I went on line and did not get an answer there. My problem was the
camera advised that the SD that was in the camera had to be programed in the camera. I could find no information on programing
the SD.

Having an extra battery is great and the universal charging unit is very helpful. I only wish it could have come without the extra protector and cloth since I don't need them.

Overall, it is a pretty good camcorder; it is light, compact, and easy to use.
Things I DON'T like:
1) There is no external mic jack. The built-in mic on the camera is good, but there is constantly wind noise interfering with my film.
2) You can't put a polarizer or any filter on it. Come on.
3) It takes a while to turn on. My son films cars a lot, and if he sees a cool one he will try to turn on the camera to get a video, but the camera takes at least ten seconds to turn on. Should be faster.
4) Not very stable. Even using a stabilizer, the camera is shaky.
I should have looked at more cameras before I bought this.
So, if you are looking for stable cameras with a built in mic jack, look at Sony Handycams (HDR-CX260V, 560V) and Canon Vixias.

I bought this at a local retailer for under $200. I wanted to use it as a secondary camcorder for my piano recordings. The primary camcorder is a higher-end, but older, Canon HG21.
I didn't expect much from it at the price, but I thought it would do OK as a secondary camera.
I tested it for 2 weeks, only indoors, at night, in a large well-lit room, with the AC adapter (not battery), and on tripod.
What I like about this camcorder :
- how compact it is
- 40x optical zoom is nice
- support for SDHC/SDXC cards
What I didn't like :
- resolution is not really a full 1920x1080 HD as claimed. The sensor only has 1.5million pixels. This is then upscaled to 1920x1020 . It is noticeable. This is very disappointing, and borderline fraudulent on the part of JVC. The picture quality is still much sharper than anything you would get from say, a miniDV camcorder. But it just should not designated 1920x1080 as it is on the box.
- image quality. There is just too much noise in the picture, even when using a tripod and turning off the stabilizer.
- indoor performance was poor, even on a tripod and wide open. Only about 1/5th as bright as the Canon, when I alternated clips from both camcorders, shot from the same viewponts. Either the "super lowlux" needs improvements, or the lens does
- it's not possible to attach anything to the front lens, there is no thread even for a UV filter. And the lens cover is manual. This will inevitably lead to the lens getting damaged in the long run.
I am returning it today while I still can. I will pay the retailer's restocking fee. I have resigned myself to the fact that my needs cannot be met in this price range.
If JVC did not market this as a full HD 1920x1080 unit, then I might be more inclined to add another star. I also would not have purchased it in the first place. Buyer beware.

I wanted to get a camcorder that would be easy to use for our vacation. A friend had this one, and she really like it. I can't get into high tech specifics, but I wanted something easy to use, and this is it! The video is beautiful. Much better than I ever expected.

The start button is in the wrong place. You have to start the camara before you can film. The start button needs to be on top.

I actually purchased this camera from another company not amazon. The camera makes nice videos and zooms very well and can play back on my PC with a USB cable. If I had a micro HDMI cable it might play back on my TV easier but I did manage to get it to play to my DVR with the included RCA cable. This is the third edit I have made here as I learn more about the camera and the software. The camera comes with Everio and the video files are stored in a .ced format. I have searched the web for hours and cannot find any software that can convert this to a mainstream video format. I have tried to use Everio to burn a regular DVD disk on my PC but it always crashes. I have learned that the reason Everio crashed for me was that Everio gives me the text box to enter the name of the video before it has finished the previous job. Just wait for a minute or so before entering the name and it will work just fine. I had a hard time figuring out how to get it to play video to my DVR but did finally get that going. I do not have a blueray burner so I have no idea if it can burn a blueray disk or not. I burned the first DVD the slow way, at viewing speed and it came out fine. I also managed to burn a series of DVDs with the Everio software. If you create a backup of your files it will create them in a mts format which can be used by other programs. I think I will get along fine with this camera.

The battery on the lowest recording setting last around 40 minutes. If you put it on the highest you will literally get around 8 MINUTES! It says on the box to buy a spare battery. WTF?
40x optical was good. Not true 1920x1080, but it was fine.
No internal memory at all.
I gave this a low review because I can't record with a battery like this. I'm going to return it.

If you're looking for a cheap camera with hd this one works. With indoor applications it's too far and too yellow. Very few settings to adjust like white balance to get a better result in outdoor light it's great. You get what you pay for.

This so far is one of the best camcorder I have purchased in years...no nigh vision though oh well knew that when I purchased it...pic quality is HD as advertised...
