So far, I am enjoying these. I primarily use them to listen to music when I go out for a run and at night in bed when watching Netflix on my iPad. Once I purchased a cheap arm band to hold my phone, the issue of music cutting out while running went away. The sound quality is surprisingly good - I went in with fairly low expectations, but I must say, I'm very impressed. The bass is respectable and I've listened to music, movies, and even audio books without any issues. These come with two sets of interchangeable silicon ear bud tips and once I found the right set, everything fit perfectly. I have relatively large ears and they are still comfortable. I was hoping to use these as a headset for Skype calling on my iPad and iMac, but they didn't play nice with my iMac and the Skype app on the iPad currently doesn't support Bluetooth. This really isn't Jabra's fault, but that's really my only complaint.Pros:* Works great indoors - even when in another room* Easily connected to my iMac, Palm Pre, and iPad* Good call quality when used as a phone headsetCons:* Cuts out when running outside (this can be remedied by using an arm band - I'm tall, so it would cut out when my phone was in my pocket)* Very choppy when connected to my iMac for Skype calling - this is most likely an issue with my computer as apparently iMacs don't play nice with bluetooth headsets on Skype* Could use additional warning for when the battery is low - I had about 15 minutes from the first warning before it died.

I was looking forward to getting rid of the cable that runs from my pocket to my earphones... what I found was a product that works just as long as I'm willing to take convenience over sound quality. Let me explain...Pros+ Paired easily with my iPhone 4s+ Fantastic battery life+ Built-in mic so any headphones will work+ Versatile: Can be clipped to a shirt or pocket or hung from the chain+ Pause/Play/Forward/Backward/Volume/Call controls+ Flashing light lets you know it's on+ I can use Siri by giving the call button a long push+ USB charging (mini so I've got a lot of those cables lying around). Much better than micro in my opinion+ Light and compactCons- Constant background hiss when listening to music. I need to turn the volume up to try to cover it out- Unnatural bass amplification- Sound quality seems to suffer (I tested with an iPhone 4s and Sure SE530)- Mic isn't very good qualitySo overall I have a hard time recommending it. If the background hiss wasn't there all the time I'd give it another star but even on noisy public transit I can hear it.

I have and have had several (4) Jabra devices. The earpieces worked fine, and the Cruiser 2 is my favorite gadget. I expected the HALO2 to please me as well, but I'm disappointed enough that it's going back to Amazon tomorrow. The Cruiser2 has great Bluetooth reception, and I expected the same from the HALO2, but it's so erratic and temperamental that it's unusable for music. Turn your head a few degrees, and it cuts out. Anything -- even just a raised hand -- between the headset and the target device will kill the signal. Lots of hiss, too -- far too much for my tastes. I've used it with the wire the last few days, trying to convince myself it's worth keeping, but it's just not. Sorry, Jabra. If Jabra builds a HALO3 to the quality of my Cruiser2, I'll buy it. This one just doesn't float my boat, at any price.

Well, based on some of the reviews here, I tried out the Jabra Street2. Big mistake. I love the style/design, but otherwise, I could not wait to hook up my Sony Ericsson MW600 again. Plain and simple, the Jabra hissed like crazy with my two main on the go phones, the Westone 3s and the Atrio MG7s. Also, to me the MW600 really delivers an accurate reproduction of my IEMs' sound, but not the Jabra, which had a reverb-type sound that was not at all ear pleasing. Anyway, the Street2 is ready to go back to Amazon, sorry to say. Too bad, I liked the design, esp the volume control. Can't recommend based on my experience. And I did turn the device (iPhone 4) volume to max and tried to use the Street2's volume. No go.

I was a bit concerned about durability when I first looked at these. But they are holding up well. After two months of daily use the hinge seems fine. The sound quality is fine. And the range is excellent. They do end up quite wet after a 45 minute workout. But its not been a problem so far.

I've tried two other in-ear Bluetooth headsets and this one surpasses the others in comfort and audio quality. Love it! Has a surround-sound feel. I'm not a fan of the in-ear headsets because they make my ears sore when I run.

Just got these a couple of days ago.Fit - Fit is fine on the ears, with the caveat that the yellow flat rubber cable holding them together tugs on your neck when you sweat, so moving your head dislodges the earpiece right out of your ear. Not good.Bluetooth - Works great indoors. When going outdoors, the only way to get them to work is by wearing an armband for your phone/ipod.I have an iPhone 3GS, and the first couple of runs I had to hold it in my hand or else they would not work. Once I got the armband all is good, but I don't like armbands that much. It restricts movement at the gym and makes you look like a tool. Also, while I had to pair them once initially, now that I just finished charging them the second time, it wants to pair every time I turn them on. It's 2011 people, not 2001 anymore...Battery - Nowhere near the advertised four hours. I used it for two three-mile runs and a four-miler today, and it died on me half way through. So basically two hours is the realistic limit (used them for a 30 min workout before my run this morning). So, as much as I wanted to like these, they will be going back. Hopefully there will be a redesign soon and beef up the BT signal to make them a five-star product.

These work great for my purpose. The pairing was very easy on my iPhone 4s. Everything works well and the only problem I had was with the headphones. They are very cheap and sounded cheap. What is great is that you can use your own. Once I put my own headphones these things were rocking. The set feels good in your hands and doesn't feel cheap. For those that complain about these not being completely wireless then obviously these are not for you. I like to listen to music while walking in the evening but hate to have to get my phone out and playing with. You can make it wireless by getting a headset but they are uncomfortable. These you can use your own headphones. Plus, it is nice to take a call in case it is necessary and not have to pull your phone out.

After my purchase in March 2012 I was very disappointed with the sound cutting in and out constantly. I upgraded the firmware from 2.9 to 2.13.0, repaired (re-paired?) the connection and the drop-outs dropped out. I am now happy with its performance. The firmware can be downloaded from the Jabra website. The unit can also be powered while in use through the mini-USB port. These headphones have a very strange behavior. Like the first reviewer stated, they do cut in and out when you are walking or jogging outside. I have the Iphone 4 and had to put my phone at a 45 degree angle on my belt clip in order for the sound to stay connected. It would drop off every so often but connect back immediately. But In my house while I walked around or jogged on my treadmill they stay connected perfect. I can even walk into the next room and they would still stay connected. Weird to say the least. Besides the weird behavior, comfort is awesome. You forget you have them on. Sound wise they are pretty good. A balanced sound not being too loud or too low. The also do not block out sound which is good when you are riding a bike or jogging outside. You should still be able to hear your surroundings for safety. Overall, I am happy with them. If I can figure out the outside problem, they would be perfect. Will take them out again tomorrow. This was my first day with them.

I really, really liked the idea; Standard earpieces plug into the little fob around my neck.Unfortunately, they don't perform. Folks on the other end of a phone call always complained. The volume was low. So, I'd try to hold it up near my mouth. No real improvement. And there was a lot of complaints of noise while I was driving. It was an OK experience for my listening.2 stars is generous. Not to my liking. I gave them away in a cell phone collection program at our church.

For those of you shopping for just a bluetooth headset, there may be a bit of sticker shock. But there's more here than meets the eye.First of all, this is a long-range, cordless headset for a business phone. For comparison, its on par with the GN 9350 series with a range of 100ft when used with the base connected to your office phone (NOT Bluetooth). For remote-answering, you may also want to check out a GN1000 lifter or an electronic hookswitch (EHS) for your make/model phone system. These types of headsets are usually around $200 for decent models with noise-cancellation.Then throw Bluetooth into the mix. With a tap on the screen, or holding the earpiece button for a few seconds, the Bluetooth mode is engaged. Note that Bluetooth has a range of 80ft or less, so this is more limited at the workplace. But now you have the same headset working with your cellphone or laptop (provided they have BT capability). So you're at work using this headset with your main phone, and your cellphone rings. Click over to BT mode and answer it. Or you have a call on Skype, voice-messenger, etc., so switch over to PC and start talking. Most office folks have two or three headsets for these functions. This one handles it all in style. We use them for people who work from home frequently and/or need to be mobile while at the office. Hands-free without switching earpieces all day long.

I have been wearing headsets most of the time in the office and at home for many years. Plantronics products and now this Jabra. The specs looked great, but at first I was disappointed with sound quality and various interferences, garbled voice intermittently and so forth. After 2 (automatically notified) firmware upgrades, it now works flawlessly with PC (Skype), landline (Panasonic PBX phone), and various cellphones, including Nexus One.Lots of nice new features the firmware didn't have before too, like caller-id display on the base unit for bluetooth calls, ...Now I am buying a second unit, and happy to recommend it to all.I would like more customization options (prioritizing calls per line, things like that), but it would probably make the product too complex for many users.Great product, good support, looks like it was just released a bit early.

I never used bluetooth headsets before, so I'm guessing this review might be true for all of them.I had been wanting an easy wireless solution to replace my corded headset for my laptop for some time (every time someone skypes, we have to detangle the cord, decipher headset plug from the mic plug, decipher headset jack from mic jack, etc). I assumed the bluetooth headset would be the answer to my prayers.First off, the idea I could just turn'em on and they world work is wrong. Even after pairing, I had to go into Vista control panel to change the default audio settings. Then when I turn'em off, I have to go back and do it again to get my on board speakers to work. But even worse, the audio is awful. I mean really unbearably bad. Imagine your friend calls you on your cell phone, and plays music to you over the phone. That is basically how the audio sounds. There is a loud and constant background "hiss", there is no bass, and the compression causes aliasing where I found whole drum beats to be lost.I kind of expected the quality of wireless headphones to be not as good a wired ones, but this is just unlistenable. I'm guessing this is true with all bluetooth headphones, but the product description of "crystal clear sound reproduction" is really just false and misleading.

I have used these headphones for almost a year now and still really enjoy them. It is great to wear a headphone while doing chores and not have a wire hanging in my face or getting tangled in my hands. I love being able to walk away from the source (usually my Blackjack II) and still being able to control the music. The earpieces are fairly comfortable, I actually like the large size rather than the earbud style of headphone, my ears do not get sore as fast. I wear glasses and usually a ball cap and these headphones still sit nicely on my ears and don't move much. I use them a lot when mowing the lawn and can still hear the music over the noise of the mower. I have found that bluetooth signal sometimes has trouble penetrating through denim, probably a problem with my phone not the headphones, but signal picks up quickly. As far as for handsfree phone calls: sound quality is great. It's nice to hear a voice in both ears when talking on the phone. There is a little echo while transmitting my voice, doesn't seem to bother the caller on the other end, I don't mind because I don't have to hold my phone to my head, good trade off.The only major downfall was poor documentation with the product, received in manufactures packaging but only documentation was pretty much quick start type information, not much troubleshooting. If you are familiar with bluetooth, I was not, you shouldn't have any problems, tech support via e-mail was very good and fairly quick.I have recommended these headphones to several people and will continue to do so, and recommend them to all who read this review.

This is my first review so bare with me! I will try to make it short and to the point.I got the headphones to use them mainly with my PC to use with Skype and listen to music. I own a HP Pavilion with windows vista, this being the problem (vista). Just out of the box skype worked really well but music hissed and sounded terrible. Called Jabra support and they were not very helpful just offered to change the headphones. Didn't want this cause I had a feeling it was software problem. Did a lot of reading about a2dp, bluetooth, music, etc. and found that the problem was the software that came with vista, not the hardware (pc or headphones). Downloaded a trial version of bluesoleil and it works wonderful! So in short, once I got the headphones to work properly they work perfectly, sound great, volume a bit to low, connects well with no breaking up, very good quality. The bad side (vistas fault) was that it took me a while to figure out the problem and Jabra support wasn't very helpful (they were nice, but not very technical). If you own vista I would suggest you get bluesoleil software first.Hope it helps!

This headset has some good characteristics like battery life, relative comfort and ease of use but also a fatal flaw: in order to prevent breaks in the stream the feed is compressed and stretched causing some very uncomfortable listening of music. It would seem that the buffer memory is inadequate which 'forced' the engineers to stretch the audio feed, this works in both ways, if the buffer is almost empty (stretching) or almost full (compressing) and to make it worse the implementation isn't the best one, instead of digitally filling or taking gaps in the wave they literally stretch the whole thing distorting the tonality of whatever you are listening to. This is quite harmless if you are talking to someone, or listening to your TV, but totally unacceptable if you are listening to music with distortions above a quarter of tone up or down.Imagine you are listening to a violin player that comes and goes out of tune while playing.Interestingly, the effect is worse if the paired device is closer to you (the buffer is filling up) to the point of somewhat frequent breaks when even the trick is insufficient. If you want to listen to music, these aren't a good choice.

This great little device is perfect for anyone with a stereo-capable Bluetooth phone. Out of the box and after a charge, it synced up very easily with my Samsung a900 "Blade" cellphone. I am able to listen to my iPod by connecting the audio plug directly into the iPod and when a call comes in, the sound is muted (though it would be more ideal if it could pause the music) and when I am finished with the call, the sound returns. The main benefit for me is that with the stereo earbuds, the sound of the person to whom you're speaking is directly in the center of your head. I never have to say "WHAT?" or "Sorry, I didn't catch that". Of course, you cannot legally use both earbuds at the same time while driving, one earbud does function quite well. The other main benefit of this device is the longevity of the battery. I talk a LOT on the phone and I have rarely had this phone die out on me. I have been able to talk for hours on end, though I do charge it up fairly regularly at night while I sleep. It comes with a charger with a mini-usb connector that slides into a hideaway slot in the side of the unit. The main disadvantages of this unit are somewhat important. The device is well made and has rubberized sides which are handy. However, the unit has a clip on the backside which is fairly close to useless. It can be attached to your clothing, but it is not very secure. The best bet is to use a small lanyard with a clip attached to the end to more properly secure the unit on your person. This lanyard and clip, however, are not included. (I use a clip that came with my pedometer!) Also negatively, when not in use, the earbuds do dangle about...one can replace the earbuds with earbuds of your choice, but it would be nice to have a way to wrangle those long cords (I use a small white twist tie) :).Another small partial negative is that the mic is on the oval unit itself...There is a pinhole in the rubberized side surface that houses the mic as the dangling device is on your chest, proper placement is essential for people to hear you well, though even with a lot of ambient noise, the mic does a remarkable job of picking up your voice...I've tested it standing in front of a fan and the other person said the fan was loud but that they could still hear me! So it is a partial negative/partial positive. One major issue is the big button visible on the center of the oval unit itself. You use this button to answer calls and hold it longer for call waiting and so forth, however if you are in a call and you inadvertently *BUMP* this button (it's an easy click) then you disconnect from the call immediately. So be careful when using this device and try hard not to hit that button when you don't need to!And finally, at least with my Samsung a900, the bluetooth is erratic. It could easily be my phone (I have just had 2 firmware updates performed on it) but my phone will occasionally just lose the connection to the device and I have to restart my phone. I might think this was just my phone, and it possibly is, but my jawbone bluetooth headset does not have this problem. So I am not sure. All in all, this is a great product that would be greater with some sort of cable wrangler attachment and a shield for the button...I'd have given this product a 5. Still it's a great bluetooth headset, I only wish I could use the stereo capabilities of the headset when listening to music on my Samsung a900...THAT requires an actual cabled audio connection :( Ah well, we can't have it all...yet!

At first, I didn't know if I should purchase this product. I had seen pictures of people wearing them (looked nerdy), I have heard complaints of the sound, and I have heard complaints of the battery. I decided to just take the plung. After I charged the battery, synced it to my ipod (via bluetooth accessory), and started playing music, I was totally blown away! Ya, they look a bit geeky looking and if you let the blue lights blink, you look like a cross between princess leah and r2d2 but hey! The sound is the most important part and the sound is simply amazing! How's the battery, you ask? Way better than I had expected. I have played movies and music on my ipod, I have hooked them up to my laptop, and I have yet to charge it and the first charge was a week and a half ago!!!!! How are they comfort wise? sometimes it puts a pinch on my right ear a bit if I wear them too long but I think that is because I wear glasses. Oh, and if you are a ps3 fan, these headphones are awesome to use. especialy in home when you want to talk to your friends at your house. This is great for many different things and guess what. you can connect to two things at once, so if you are gaming and get a call from your cell, you can swap in a flash to your cell. what more can you ask for?

The battery life on these is phenomenal. I've been using these headphones with the Jabra Bluetooth Music Adapter and the headphones outlast the adapter every time, and we're talking about 8+ hours of constant use.I'm also using this headset along with my PC and my RazrV3m. The phone does not support Stereo Bluetooth Audio (A2DP) but it does support the regular headset profile that most, if not all Bluetooth enabled phones have. This means that the headphones work as a regular wireless headset for any Bluetooth enabled phone or Skype on your PC / Mac.On the PC, the headphones provide the mic input, the mono headset feature and the stereo headset feature. This means that I can be watching a video or listening to music in beautiful stereo sound and if a call comes though on Skype, it'll switch over to the microphone & mono headset profile for the VOIP conversation. The same is true for using the music adapter mentioned above and a mobile phone. When a call comes in, the music pauses / mutes (depending on the device) and you can answer the call by tapping the left ear piece. Tapping the right ear piece will pause / mute the music at any time.Sound quality is actually very impressive. If you're using these with your PC and the sound is coming through mudddy and crackly, it means that you're not using the Stereo (higher audio quality as well) profile. It's quite possible to listen to music using the Mono (used for mobile phone conversations) profile, but you're missing the great sound if you do.A great thing about the sound quality is that the range is quite wide. I hear certain things in music with these headphones that my iPod and Zune headphones just wont reproduce. The headphones are not earbuds (or earplugs as I call them) so you can actually still hear someone if they speak to you, that is you won't be completely oblivious. They came with a wall charger as well as a USB cable so that's very nice. The manual says not to use any other cables to charge the headphones, but close observation will reveal that it's just an ordinary USB-A to USB-Mini-B cable. (Probably what your digital camera uses.)

This is my second pair of the BT620 headphones (my wife stole the first one). I am almost an audiophile and these headphones are good enough for me. The bass levels are pretty good and all the rest of the frequency distribution is balanced. For talking on the phone I have tried it with 2 blackberries (7290 & 8820) and a Nokia. This works well with all of them. On the 7290 the audio quality is better than the built in microphone and speaker. These cancel out an appreciable amount of background noise as well and makes talking from a crowded place without shouting quite natural. The headphones fit quite comfortably. I can wear them through the 10 hour work day (of course off during lunch) comfortably. Same with my wife, and our head sizes are not the same to say the least. The headphones feel flimsy the first time you take them out of the box, but are quite sturdy and can take a lot of abuse. (I have had one pair for about an year and still is going strong.)I am an electrical engineer and work on bluetooth enabled products, so you can imagine there are at least 10 different bluetooth connections in my environment continuously. The headphones never have any trouble even in that environment. The range I get is about 20ft through walls and a lot of metal. As I said I wear them through the 10 hour work day and have never had the battery die on me. I leave it charging for the night and the next day they are back to normal. I guess the older headphone should be coming to the end of its battery life because of being deep cycled continuously (Li Ion batteries don't take that well) but I think finding an after market battery replacement should be pretty easy for them. They use a standard size single cell 320mAh battery.I would definitely recommend these over Logitech Free Pulse or their older model. I tried those out before I got my second pair of the Jabra, and was not satisfied with them at all (Uncomfortable and bad bluetooth connection).
