Intel has made it!
Upgraded from an i5-7500. Have been considering whether should go for AMD or Intel for this upgrade and finally decided to give an Intel a try after reading the positive reviews of the Alder Lake.
The installation is smooth and the CPU is stable and fast, at least doubles the speed of the old i5-7500. Heat is not a problem at all, always below 40C.
Only complaint is it does not come up with a cooler like AMD and you have to pay for another one.

Best Intel CPU per dollar in a very, very long time.
The last time I was this happy with an Intel CPU in terms of performance-per-dollar was the 4770K.
This is a wonderful CPU for gaming and general productivity at the same time, and an incredible value if you can get it below $380.

Don't buy if you're a first timer
I'm a first time builder, and I'm working with this CPU, it overheat 3 times in bios when i first started out. Overheats on cinebench and some games that push it to about 40% CPU usage. There are work arounds but as a first time builder i would have preferred to not have to deal with that. Nevertheless, at least I've experienced dealing with a chip that runs very hot.

je quitte un i7 6700k (6eme gén) qui avait fait son taf pour le nouveau i7 12700k et la c'est le jour et la nuit.
couplé à une CM ASUS ROG STRIX Z690 et au refroidissement ROG RYUJIN II 360.
il répond à mes attentes, j'ai hésité entre le i5 12600k et celui ci, je ne regrette pas mon achat.
coté AMAZON, rien a dire commandé le mardi pour une réception 48h après, le jeudi.
couplé à une CM ASUS ROG STRIX Z690 et au refroidissement ROG RYUJIN II 360.

Definitely worth the upgrade
Upgraded from an i5 7500 to the 12700k. Definitely worth it, pairing it with a GTX 1070ti and the extra cores definitely help in a lot of games.
Im sure it will be future proof for years to come, so if you're still sitting on the fence about buying one i hope this helps 😊

Impressive
Coming from an AMD Ryzen 3700X. For my workflow and use (heavy video editing/rendering & general computing), this CPU rocks. I was surprised to see some operations taking half the time to complete. The difference between waiting a half hour instead of an entire hour is a game-changer for me.

Worked with ASUS Strix motherboard
Believe it or not, but under that huge cooler is the Intel Core i7-12700K processor. While I intend to later upgrade to discrete graphics, initially I am using the GPU that is internal to the processor. It was satisfying when I threw the switch the first time and everything just worked. The GPU was powerful enough to run some virtual world software that I use at a good frame rate. I believe I made the right choice in this processor.

Finalmente un bel passo avanti da parte di Intel. Il processore va davvero bene, parco nei consumi, potente sia in single che in multi core e non scalda eccessivamente.
Se lo state guardando qua probabilmente avrete già visto innumerevoli benchmark sul web quindi inutile postarli.
Come tutti i componenti di un pc va contestualizzato rispetto all’uso che una persona ne deve fare. Personalmente ne consiglio l’acquisto

Обновлен с i5-7500 и B8 gigabyte mobo. Я разрывался между i5 13-го поколения и этим, и я счастлив, что выбрал это! Во-первых, коробка была повреждена. Однако с процессором все было в порядке. Я соединил его с MSI z690 Tomahawk и Thermalright peerless 120 se. Кулер поддерживает температуру этого парня на отметке 80 ° F во время игры. Что касается центрального процессора, то это настоящий зверь. Я даже не разобрался, с чем он может справиться. Я купил это, когда оно поступило в продажу за 264 доллара. Просто для пущего эффекта у меня было открыто около 25 вкладок chrome, afterburner, discord, несколько случайных программ и Hogwarts Legacy, и загрузка процессора не превышала 100* F, а загрузка процессора не превышала 40%. Многозадачность просто дикая. Количество потоков просто сумасшедшее. Нижняя линия. Этот процессор - потрясающая покупка, и вы не будете разочарованы.

Fonctionne parfaitement
Pas de problème au montage : j'ai monté un ventirad noctua NHU12A : quand le proc travaille à 100%, il reste sous les 80°C. En fonctionnement normal, l'ensemble est silencieux. Attention si la CM marche à la DDR5 : c'est 2 fois le prix de la DDR5.
Le GPU fonctionne bien (traitement video) en attendant que les cartes graphiques reviennent à des prix raisonnables.

Я работаю с редактированием и аудиовизуальным производством, производительность ПК значительно улучшилась, без сомнения, его базовая скорость является большим преимуществом, я не использую OC, потому что считаю, что на сегодняшний день особой пользы нет, и отлично справляюсь с базовой скоростью. многозадачность с тяжелыми программами.
Очень хороший процессор и определенно улучшает качество игры, я иногда играю в такие игры, как: Battlefield, Valorant, Star Wars Battlefront и т. Д., и скорость не падает ниже 75 кадров в секунду при разрешении 1080p.

Этот процессор работает довольно жарко, но в паре с приличной термопастой и Corsair aio. Кажется, это поддерживает его в рабочем состоянии 😎!

Didn’t work for my computer
This was bought for a Christmas gift for my son. It didn’t work for his computer. Company won’t send a refund until they receive item (which is fine) but say within 30 days after they get it. Won’t buy from them again

Хороший процессор
Пришел в идеальном состоянии, защелкнулся прямо на месте и сработал при первой загрузке. До сих пор у меня не было необходимости доводить его до предела, но даже при запущенной целой куче вещей это не доставляет мне абсолютно никаких проблем, так что я уверен, что долгое время все будет хорошо.
