Had to swap out the wifi card on my brand new Lenovo Legion Y530. Everyone with similar problems all recommended this card. Swapped out the old Realtec can with this one and I've had absolutely no problems! All you really have to do is get the back open and pull out the card from its slot and remove the antenna wires. Put the wires back in the same place and insert the card and you are good to go. $20 for this will save you hours of frustration over a bad WiFi card.

This card does exactly what's advertised as long as you have the right chip set. It's designed to work with later generations of Intel processors (i.e. 7xxx or 8xxx) and they must have the correct plug on the motherboard. Be sure you're LAN port has an E type mounting block. If it's older, you'll be wasting your time.
The antenna connectors are standard and allow the machine's built in wires to connect quickly and easily. All told, the installation took <10 minutes. After install, my wireless speeds increased significantly. Windows reports a link speed of 650 Mbps. My machine is ~30 ft from the access point with a wall in between. The link is stable and maintains its speed throughout the day. Movies now download faster and you can easily enjoy your favorite streaming TV service. The biggest change I noticed is web pages load even faster. It seems that this takes advantage of dual antennas to retrieve multiple page elements simultaneously. Buy & Enjoy!

After buying the wrong adapter, because Gigabyte had no clue what their mobo needed, I got this one. And I bought new antenna leads, because they only "work" once or not even once. Using a microscope (not kidding) i figured out that the shoulder of one connector on the card is damaged out of the package, so back to the drawing board.
This product is ridiculous! They should sell it with the antenna leads already on. When a connector is so small, that the tiniest dental tool looks like you're shoving a tree trunk into a light socket, the technology is a failure.

Used this on my new build that featured an Intel CNVI slot on the motherboard. Love that this is completely hidden off and recognized immediately on bootup on Win10--no drivers were needed and bluetooth worked too.
NOTE: if you're ordering antennas for this, make sure it has the MHF4 connector on not something else. Also, the connector is super tiny and impossible to mount the antennas is the card is already installed in the mobo. Connect the wires first and then route the whole assembly where you need it. In my case I was able to route the wires behind the mobo and drilled holes for the external antennas on the back of the case.
TIP: if you're building a rig with glass panels, this green wireless card really clashes against the mobo pcb (in my case, mostly black). I cut a piece of cardboard a bit larger than the size of the wifi card and put shrunk some black heat shrink tubing around it. I then slid the molded heat shrink onto the wifi card and routed the antenna leads tight to the mobo and this thing is totally discrete now. See pics.

Purchased new Dell 7770 AIO, and if I included the wireless adapter was delaying shipping time frame by over a month. Decided to order the PC with no wireless card for quick delivery as I primary use the PC with wired network but wanted to add the wireless card for future proofing and any potential Bluetooth connections.).
Was fairly easy to install in the Dell 7770 - the PC already has the wireless card connection on the board, antenna wires and wireless card holder / cover installed but not populated with the wireless card. Hardest part is getting the super tiny antenna connectors to connect to the card, but after some fussing and work finally was able to make the connections. Note this was a bit easier to do with the card not installed, so could better orient the card and apply firm pressure to the underside of the wireless card.
Ensured I had the correct drivers downloaded prior to installation. PC and windows recognized the card and immediately showed available wireless networks to connect. Wireless speeds were averaging >300 up and down (sitting a couple rooms away in a home residence from a Unifi AC PRO AP.

I did so AFTER I already ordered this. I decided to keep and install the 9650 because it's a newer product and had Bluetooth 5 instead of 4.1 or 4.2 (whatever...).
5.45% MB/s interweb speed increase (courtesy DSLReports' website ). Not scientific, mind you, but a nice bump. I do not like speedtest's website because your service provider probably has an agreement with them to indicate higher than available real-world (i.e. Netflix) speeds.
I used SellBroke's "How To Disassemble Lenovo Legion Y7000P" video to cleanly open the case. Keep track of where each screw comes from!

I was wanting to put bluetooth on my Evga X99 Classified desktop motherboard. To test for the type needed I made the mistake of removing my laptops 9560ngw and trying it in the M.2 slot on the old Evga board. It didn't recognize the card and I got the blue screen of death on it so I put it back in the laptop. After that the laptop would not boot up with it installed and it got hot! It did boot without it but I thought I fried the laptops motherboard. I purchased this card which matched the original laptop cards part number and it saved my laptop!!! On top of that it had an excellent price and was shipped fast. Bottom line is just because the card will fit does not mean it will work. I found out there are many different types of both the slot and the M.2 wifi cards. The Evga documentation was no help in figuring out what card worked in their motherboard. I finally just bought a Bluetooth dongle that fit in one of the USB ports on the Evga motherboard. Problem solved.

Installed on an MSI GL63 laptop that I just purchased. Considering it's a gaming laptop, I was amazed that it came with an Intel 9462 that has a max speed of 433 Mbs. I have AT&T 1 Gig that I haven't been able to take full advantage of yet. Easy install. The AT&T router & my Netgear r7000 are both limiting my speed but I'm consistently getting 3-400 Mbs down (about 2x faster). I'll try tweeking the routers but don't expect much more than half of the max advertised ISP speed via WiFi. Definitely worth $15. I believe it's only a plug & play with the 8th gen Intel processors. Might need the antenna adapter for anything older.

This product has the worst signal of any WiFi adapter I have ever used or even heard of. Where my pc is has 3 to 4 out of 5 WiFi “bars” depending on which USB adapter, phone, or tablet. This adapter didn’t even see it, or any of the many neighbors networks. It did however BARELY see the WiFi printer sitting 3ft away and had a whopping 2-3/5 bars.
I do not recommend this product in any way shape or form. But amazon delivered on time. Yay amazon. Bluetooth has to be RIDICULOUSLY close to work as well. See photo for how close my BT speaker has to be to connect.

In fact there's nothing bad about this Wi-Fi AC (WiFi 5) module! The only reason it hasn't worked for me is the CNVi property of this module, which makes it incompatible with AMD CPUs. I bought this to use in an AMD Ryzen Build, I did not know better then, but I do now, it just cost me a few dollars and several months to know better, it was good too in a way because, the WiFi 6 modules were released not so long after purchasing this one and since it did not work on my AMD platform, it was a wonderful excuse to upgrade! And upgrade I did to get the AX200NGW, note there is an AX201NG version which requires CNVio thus it is incompatible with AMD-based systems.

I specifically purchased this card because my MB supports CNVi. If yours does not, get the AC-9260. Make sure you get the right antenna connecting wires for this card. You need MHF4 connectors. The card works very well in my system with an ASUS Prime Z390-P motherboard.
The antenna wires need quite a bit of pressure to attach them to the card. Attach them outside of the case before installing the card or you will never get them connected. You will need more than finger pressure and will need some kind of tool (I used a small hex key) to push down on the connector on the wire once properly aligned with the connector on the card.

Of all the models of HP laptops, this is the only one I have found that requires removing the entire internal computer board in order to reach the wifi adapter. I must say that HP cannot make a laptop that does not have wifi adapter problems. I sent this one to HP for this problem, and it happened again. My first HP laptop had the identical problem twice. First, I sent it in to HP and second they sent an HP representative to my house to replace it. I will never buy another HP computer.

I purchased a Lenovo Y530 which came with Realtek RTL8822BE. It was a terrible card, and it randomly disconnects which can be a major problem if you are hosting a conference call.
Instead of returning the laptop, for sending it for warranty repair (which I don't think will fix the problem), I purchase the Intel 9560 card for less than $15.
It worked without the need to install any drivers and works very well. Hope it stays the same for a long time.

I plugged this card into my computer that did not come with Wi-Fi and this card does not work without antennas on it. Ended up buying a different product. Do not buy if you do not have antenna to hook up.

I detailed my entire experience with this. But no room at the amazone. Long story short. Computer new at xmas 2018. Wireless card deteriorating. No wake from sleep. Then no 5ghz connection. Then no connection at all. Win10 had no idea there was any hardware problem. This card fixed all the problems. The antenna connections are reversed. They are tinnie,wennie, versions of the snap buttons on a western style shirt, best i can tell. The failed card had an additional R at the end of the same model number. Never had any bluetooth problems.

My brother and I purchased this wifi card for our parents' computer. We went on line to see how to install it and followed the directions to the "T". It was a bit difficult to remove the initial card and replace it with this one. You need a tweezers and a tiny screwdriver (phillips head). Although it took some time to install, it did what it was supposed to and improved the computer's speed greatly!!! Definitely worth the money and time.

My mobo doesn't have built in wifi. I didn't want a wifi dongle occupying a usb port. Easy to install the card. Connecting the antenna is a bit fiddly. That isn't a card flaw but more of a form factor downside.
Streaming iRacing, Dirt 4, PCars2 with no detectable to me lag.

Replaced the junk Realtek card that came with the top of the line HP Omen desktop bought 2019.
The Realtek kept dropping connections every day.
Install is tough due to the tiny wires connectors and screws but it finally worked.
Had to remove Bluetooth devices and add them again.
So far so good. Set the band to 5Ghz only. No more WiFi drops !

Easy to install on lenovo legion y7000p to replace the garbage realtek wifi it came with. Do not waste your time trying to make it work, just replace it for 17 bucks. I've had zero wifi issues and speeds have improved significantly. Be sure to download the drivers from intel before you remove the realtek.

Did not come in antistatic packaging, T P/N did not match that of a genuine Intel chip, buyer beware. Did not work to replace the part model listed, chip would contantly cycle errors and never obtained any wireless signal, first photo is their card, latter is a known original genuine Intel card OE to the machine.

Excellent piece of hardware. This was the one I was searching for a long time for my workstation. But don't forget to buy the antenna cables. The product doesn't ship with one and is absolutely useless without it if you have a metal enclosure or a PC case.

after searching online for a solution to my wifi problems i learned that i have to change my realtek wifi adapter and buy a new one.
after a long research online i chose to buy the Intel Wireless-AC 9560.
best value for money and suppose to have the best speeds and connection.
install was very easy, many tutorials on youtube.
works great.
will update in a month after heavy usage.
my CPU is an I7 8750H.
from what i have read online it might not work with older cpu's. i dont really know.
