I bought this phone a couple of weeks ago and my first thought is : Amazing.The screen is amazing, in my opinion even better than the Samsung Galaxy s3's amoled screen.The text is sharp and the images are clear and crisp. Its amazing.As it came with a quadcore processor, the phone is not laggy at all. I have not seen even one lag in my 2 week use of this phone.My mother has a Samsung Galaxy S3 and it has proven more laggy than my HTC One X.The Jelly Bean update is amazing on this phone. If there was any trouble with battery life or lag, Jelly Bean completely eliminates it.Project Butter works amazing with the Global Version's quadcore. And battery life has been improved significantly with its power saver option.I can get a solid 15 hours straight of normal use. And while watching a complete movie with full brightness it barely drained the battery by 15%.My only complain about the phone has to do with multitasking, some of the apps refresh when you switch back and forth making it a little bit annoying when web browsing or working on documents.After everything this phone is amazing and would recommend it over the Samsung Galaxy S3. But that is my personal opinion.

Simply the best phone I have owned to date. I'm one of those crazy people that need the newest and best of everything. I tried the iPhone 5...disappointed again that it ready was not a grand leap from the 4. S3, bought when it first came out internationally for my trip to Italy. The S3 is a killer phone, took great pictures, fit nice in the pocket, great for movies etc. One down side to me was the placement of the on / off button on the side. Really a problem when taking pictures especially when letting others take photos. I did crack the screen once. So why do I like the HTC one x+ better.1. Overall feel of the phone is better.2. When all my setting are set the battery life is better.3. 64G storage standard. No SD slot used to be a deciding factor to me and I would put an extra 64g in my galaxy and I never used it. With the box or dropbox and instant HD photo uploads to google plus I find the 64G internal storage to be plentiful.4. this phone is very snappy.5. Perfect size for my huge hands. (I found the Note to be too big)Again I feel this is the best phone on the market currently...Hands Down.Peter

This a very, very, very good phone! The screen is amazing. The phone came with Android 4.0 but HTC delivered the Android Jelly Bean (4.1.1) version, downloadable via WiFi (~400MB).As it is a 4.7-inch screen phone, even for me that have a big hand, some times it is difficult to use it with only one hand.The camera is very good (some times better than my Sony Cybershot still camera). The pictures I took with low levels of light (using the flash) are with a little ton of yellow.One of the problem of this phone is the low battery capacity (low, for the hardware!). After the actualization to Android 4.1.1 the duration was increased considerably, but if you use WiFi or 3G data connection, be prepared to charge it everyday (or even twice a day). In this link:[...], the guy put a 2100mAh battery on it (this battery was from the HTC One X+). Due to that, i keep an start for me :)The HTC Sense (updates to version 4+) do not feels heavy.I came from a rooted Android phone with a custom ROM. Until now, I did not feel the necessity to change the HTC stock ROM.

I bought this phone after reading the reviews that it is one of the best phone out there. I am using it for 2 months now and it looks great and feels great. The good things about this phone are awesome screen and camera. Camera is fabulous, it's better then most cameras in cameras..forget about phone cameras. There is no shutter lag and picture comes so clear. You will fall in love with the camera as soon as you will take first picture. Also the features provided with the camera are awesome. I don't need to talk much about the screen as everyone knows it has HD 4.7 screen, which is not too big and not too small. Phone feels great in hand and fits in my pocket.I should also say that I have replaced it twice because of the hardware issues, generally related to the network. I bought this phone as soon as it was released, so i got the phone with OS version 1.77. Version 1.77 was horrible, it was slow and poor battery life. It should 4G symbol, but I couldn't get any internet. I complaint to ATT couple of times and they said to factory reset etc but nothing worked. I called amazon (as i was still in 30 day period) and replaced it with a new handset. The new phone came with OS 1.85, which was better. It was responsive and had good battery life. After few weeks, it also started to have network issues. If I restart my phone, I don't get any network. It shows I am on Airplane mode. It took me 2 hours to figure out how to fix it. Also, most apps started to have weird issues...Overall I am very unhappy with this phone as I am power user and I want my phone to work flawlessly. It might be good phone for people who are not continuously using their phones.

I have owned an iPhone 4 and most recently a Samsung Galaxy S 2 (both on AT&T). While I didn't care for the small screen of the iPhone or the Apple control freaks, I really grew to detest the Galaxy. In the year that I owned it, it was plagued with hardware and software problems which Samsung and AT&T were unable to fix. After AT&T replaced the Android Gingerbread OS with Ice Cream Sandwich OS things got worse. Sometimes I couldn't even make or receive calls. Since the Galaxy was under warranty, AT&T was willing to replace it with a HTC One X. I have used the One X for a week now and can report that it is a vast improvement over the Galaxy and even the iPhone. Basically, it operates flawlessly. Speed of operations is excellent. Applications operate reliably without crashing.The screen is big and provides beautiful color rendering and, while it doesn't have the high contrast of the Galaxy, it doesn't oversaturate colors like the Galaxy did. Conversation audio quality is great. Unfortunately, the speaker is on the flat surface of the rear panel, so both audio quality and volume decrease when the phone is placed on its back. The volume and power buttons are almost flush mounted so activating either is a bit challenging. Based on other reviews I had concerns about battery life but, even with moderate use, it lasts two days between charges. Finally, the HTC Sync Manager makes synchronizing files and information with your PC a real pleasure and a vast improvement over iTunes.Overall, this is the best smartphone I have ever used.

I honestly don't understand how CNET or individual purchasers can be lauding this phone when the display has been dimmed to such a great degree from the One X. I have an iPhone 4. Not even 4s. I have to move the dimming slider to maybe 90-95% of maximum to make it approximately match the brightness of the HTC One X. I have to dim it down to about 50% to match the One X Plus. This is a DIM phone. I consulted with sales staff at the AT&T store, and they assured me what I was seeing was correct. I called the HTC contact number for North America, and they assured me the dimming is intentional - to extend the battery life of the phone. I presume this is because the One X Plus has a quad core processor (the One X had a dual core) which is more of a battery hog. So, there you go. That's the brilliant trade-off HTC made to speed up a phone that was already fast. The dimness is substantial, and will definitely play havoc with sunny days. Great phone, and terribly dim display means don't even think about this phone, in my humble opinion.

hi all i want to ask u ..... i want to buy a new phone htc evo .........& i found this device on wireless.amazon & i didn,t knew how to buy one with a new sprint contract ,,,,I need this phone for my little brother he is outside of united states & i know its locked to sprint that's ok because he just want play with games & browse web on wi-fi,, lets try step by step ,,,, first choose the phone & its htc evo sprint and i am New Sprint Customer ,, 2-select a plan cheapest one is 70$ ,,,3- Select Service Options lets say 10$ ,,when i add the device to cart the total will be 80$ so when complete typing my address & payment option do i will get my phone by mail?? & do i have to pay more money???please contact me if you could help me ...thanx elfakih90@gmail.com

Clearly, people who wrote all the positive reviews have owned this phone for less than a week. Otherwise, they would very likely run into all kinds of nasty surprises. The main one is the battery. It can die with no warning draining from 80% to zero in a matter of minutes, while the phone is in standby with GPS and Wi-Fi off, good cellular signal and no extra applications installed. In two months I've had this phone, it happened at least 10 times. A couple of times the phone just shut itself down in the middle of a phone call (with full battery).Also, the screen may be big and nice to look at, but it's actually turning out to be not very practical - the phone is large and is barely in the "pocket" category.From the functionality standpoint, this may be a fantastic phone.. when it works. And you never know when it might fail. In my book, I would choose reliability over the cool factor any day of the week. I'm actually wondering how I will survive the 2 year contract with AT&T dealing with this disaster on a daily basis. Carry an *actual* cell phone as a backup? I already have a portable battery for "life support".. This is clearly the last HTC product I will ever buy.I'm actually considering buying a different phone without a contract and using the SIM card there. You make your conclusions.

I'm looking for a Phone for My Mom that will shock Her into "ACCEPTING" a SmartPhone. Honestly, She just wants a 1992 Cell Phone, but those days are long gone. I on the other hand am into Building Computers, have owned an iPhone since they started in Production, so I admit, My knowledge with the Nutz & Bolts with Android Phones is just as Raw, as it is with the Politics of the Phones. AND there "ALMOST" is a Political aspect to which Phone You use (Or Religion if You will?). FOR EXAMPLE: I mean People say either iOS Sucks, ATT Sucks, Verizon Sucks, Android just did a Copy and Paste of Computer language which They didn't have any of the Legal rights to, to create Android's Platform, etc, etc...I find all this BS and Better left up the the Experts Down at the Bar. I have opinions, but like Politics, Religion, I keep them to Myself, otherwise a Person doesn't learn anything if they are always spouting Their Opinions. Right? Put Your Judgements aside, watch a Political debate, THEN watch the Spin Factory each word parsed out to the Ninth Degree slam or support Their Sides. BS!!! I'm off My Soapbox!!! Honestly, What is the differences between Samsung Galaxy III and Motorola, and HTC that a Son should know when selecting a Phone that Both My Mom and I will learn from? I could get Her a Stone Age Phone, but I want to be able to excite Her with it, and to Use a Phone the ways it was meant to be used. I'll be the Teacher in this situation, I'm just finding myself Bored as Heck over iOS, because I've mastered that to My Self Imposed Limit, and want to Learn another Platform for HER.I just want to get Her something We'll be able to Use with Her TV, Computer, and let the Magic Happen when she's to say WOW! (Now that's My Goal, and that Goal of Her saying WOW, is Priceless)

This is one of my favorite phones. It has the best display out there. Here is my breakdown of the phone:Pros:Screen: This phone has one of the best screens on any phone. It destroys the screen on any latest phone including the Samsung Galaxy S3, iPhone 5, and many others. The colors on the screen look very natural unlike the cartoon colors on the Samsung Galaxy S3.Speed & fluidity:The Quad Core Tegra 3 processor makes the phone very fluid and fast. Although the phone takes a while to boot after that the phone will run very fast. The launcher is very smooth and switching between home-screens there is not any lag even with many widgets.Sense 4:Sense 4 is a huge improved compared to the previous versions of sense. No longer is it extremely bloated and confusing. Sense 4 is very simple and straight to the point.Cons:No microSD card:Many people need a micro SD card to make it easier to transfer data from their old phone.Battery Life:The battery will last me half a day before I have to charge it again. Compared to many flagship this phone does not have good battery life.Mutitaksing: Sense 4 stops many apps that run in the background. It is very aggressive and sometimes ends many important apps.

"I have had many phones in my days including an iPhone 3Gs, iPhone 4,' iPhone 4s, Samsung Galaxy Skyrocket and now this phone. I gotta say that this phone is beyond incredible. If you want a nice durable, reliable phone that has impressive specs then check out this phone. This phone is made up of sturdy material and doesn't feel like plastic as most androids do. The camera takes amazing pictures, is super quick and just has a stunning display of colors. ICS with Sense 4 just works out of the box and is extremely smooth. A lot or people are dissing that it doesn't have a removable battery or a memory card slot and that 16gb is small. First the battery lasts extremely well. So far I have been getting about 10 hours of average use and it sits at just 52%. This is extremely well for a smartphone. Second 16gb is plenty for me. It's meant to be a phone not a storge drive. Plus you get 25gb of drop box storage for your pictures which it actually integrates well into the phone. Android just allows you to use your phone the way you should use it. Create and make your own ringtones on the spot, tether for free download free music and so much more. This phone blows the iPhone and any other phone away. If you are due for an upgrade I highly recommend checking this out in white.I just have to say this to people who gave low rating to this awesome phone. Stop whining about locked boot loaders,it is not HTC but at&t who has locked this phone..and there is a reason for this..the phone works best the way it is,there is no point in unlocking boot loader and mess up the phone,which beats the every other smartphone available in Industry"

Pros:1. Fast and responsive2. Large internal storage memory (64GB)3. NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core4. Android 4.15. 4G LTE compatible6. Comparably more powerful than quite some more popular brand phones at similar price range7. Feels great and easy to hold even without using a phone case8. Screen easily viewable under sunlight9. Comfortable 5-in screenCons:1. AT&T bundled garbage couldn't be removed without rooting the phone2. Battery can't be easily replaced3. No external memory slots.4. Had infrequent, minor malfunctions (such wifi/4G not recognized by certain apps).5. Protruding cam lens is very easy to be accidentally touched6. Locked to AT&T service by default7. Camera fastest ISO is only 800 and no optical zoom (*quite common to current gen phone, however)

This is the best android phone so far I mean you can compare this with the S3 but for the price you will notice that this is the deal you should get! Ive got the phone on time and I contacted the seller twice with a promptly response from wireless experts. Great cst service. I oredered two phones one for me and one for my Dad we are actually using those phones at Guatemala so even though this aint the international version they have the most common 3G frequences. The people who are complaining about they didnt get the international version... cmon you should make your whole research and see that it clearly states that this Phone has a DUAL CORE 1.5 ghz proccessor which means that it is not the international version and believe me you wont notice the difference although the games run a little bit clearly talking about the screen resolution with the quad core version but for me that is not so important since the games run perfectly and smoothly on this one. This phone is way better than the overpriced Iphone 5 thats for sure. Ive taken my dad out from the Blackberry world and he is enjoying this phone as much as I wanted and that makes me feel happy. The best two things about it: SCREEN AND SOUND. +10 for HTC!

HTC allows most of their new phones (including the international and Canadian versions of this one) to have their bootloader unlocked by visiting their web site (it does void the warranty), however AT&T has prevented HTC from providing this service for the AT&T branded version of this phone. A workaround exists to unlock the AT&T version, but it is not for the feint of heart and may be patched so as to no longer work sometime in the future. My girlfriend and I bought this phone with the intent of flashing a custom ROM that has additional features, such as quiet hours and a separate volume for notifications, as well as no Sense UI (we think Sense seems somewhat unprofessional and less cohesive compared to vanilla ICS). Needless to say, we were extremely disappointed by AT&T's decision to artificially restrict this hardware.The hardware itself is exceptional and everything we could want, so if you are not the kind of person that would consider flashing a custom ROM, consider this a 5-star review. I'm docking two stars, though, because of AT&T's decision to forbid HTC from allowing customers to get the most from their expensive devices.Update: I've noticed that the plastic white backing has turned pinkish over the course of the few months that I've owned the phone (I don't use a case). The plug over the sim card is noticeably whiter than the rest of the phone, so it must be made of a different material that doesn't stain the way the rest of the phone does. I don't actually care that much, but if you're the kind of person that does, it's something to consider.

Before i bought this i thoroughly read the reviews available on Amazon at that point which helped me get what i was really looking for: a 32GB Memory Quard core, etc.This phone is totally awesome. Speed is great, graphics excellent, sound is simply put..... a real bad boy! I am on a world travel now and i dont miss my camera even a bit. Great integration into any number of devices and storage you may have plus good speed for VPN connections. The battery could have been better so get yourself a mobile power source especially if you are using a lot of the mobile features. No SD slots so go for the 32GB if you need a lot of space and get a BT storage device if absolutely necessary else simply make a selection of files available offline as and when you see the need.A great piece of smart phone for business and fun.

I have had my HTC One X+ phone for a month, and I absolutely love it. I spend at least 2 to 3 hours in my car on an average workday. I use the One X+ for music, podcasts, shopping, texting, e-mail, maps, and games while I am in the car and at lunch.... and yes I make phone calls too. It is just fun to use, and it helps me get to my appointments on time and without getting stuck in traffic. The 64 GB of memory means that I never need to worry about having enough space for all my apps and music. The large screen makes the device easy to use for navigation. This phone has really made a difference in my day.

I have AT&T in North America. I used the micro-SIM card from my old iPhone 4 (the HTC does not come with a SIM) and had no problems placing or receiving calls immediately. I did have problems getting my data plan and voicemail switched over from an iPhone plan to a smartphone plan, mainly because it was not an AT&T phone/IMEI. After some tech support time, AT&T was able to get everything working.If you're buying this phone, be aware that it will NOT work on AT&T's 4G LTE network..but it does work great on 3G! If you use most of your data via WiFi this shouldn't be an issue.

This phone has 1 huge advantage over most new phones. 64Gb of space to use. You can use it on aapps or media. No one else has this. An extra SD card slot would have been nice but this is still fine. Someone said the screen was dim and I find it to be bright if you make sure your settings are correct. It fast and dependable. The battery of course like most phones is ok but could be better. It does heat up but I have not seen it lockup or crash from it. I would recommend this phone to anyone. Its my first HTC phone and Im very impresed. I would say it runs as good as my samsung note 2. Its smaller but easy to hold on to and not to small to use daily.

I got this phone over the Nokia 920, because of the screen size, less bulky n more memory. First, the screen is amazing. It is a lot brighter than my note 2. I thought the note 2 screen was good, but boy was I wrong when compared to one x plus. The one x plus is also a little faster than the note. The battery cover has some kind of anti-slippage material on it. Unlike, my note 2 which feels very slippery to me. I love the 64gb of memory n beats audio. Beats audio sounds great when connected to a headphone. it doesn't sound so great without the headphone. The battery last almost as long as my note 2. Call quality is simply amazing. It is just as good as my note 2. Get this phone, cause you will not regret it. It's hd screen, so it's a lot better than the non-hd screen of the so called retina screen.lol

It is a disappointment, it is that after two weeks of having obtained this phone for $ 500 the camera image turned green and now today put a stain on the screen in the bottom left and I have two months with the phone . They are a fraud and I lost my $ 500.Es una decepci?n, resulta que despu?s de dos semana de haber obtenido este tel?fono por 500$ la imagen de la c?mara se puso verde y ahora hoy se le puso una mancha en la pantalla en la parte inferior izquierda y no tengo dos meses con el tel?fono. Son un fraude y yo perd? mis 500$

Pros:1. very fast2. 4G LTE on ATT network I'm getting 19.67 mbps down and 13.07 mbps up.3. excellent screen4. unibody design keeps dust out of cameras and speakers5. ruberized exterior is relatively scratch resistant6. has corning gorilla glass7. excellent camera in well-lit areas. comparable to entry level digital cameras.cons:1. battery life can be betterOther thoughts:if you own another ICS device (i.e. transformer tf700), make sure to skip all google account sign in at first boot up as this will port over wifi settings and may cause problems with wifi. Sign in after the initial set up is skipped will solve this problem.

I love everything about this phone, but I am having one major issue with it. The slot where the sim card goes apparently has a manufacturing defect. My sim card loses connectivity and then shows no sim, therefore, no phone service. This happened on the first HTC One X I got, (which was only a couple of weeks after purchase) so I went back got a replacement. Well, a couple of weeks into this phone and the same thing is happening again! It is very annoying as I do not know when it happens till I look at my phone. I cannot receive calls when this happens or text. I am wondering if I should go and try another replacement HTC One X again, or try to get another phone completely to replace it. Has anyone else had this problem?

I loved this phone but had to return it due to two issues:1. Battery life was terrible and barely lasted my workday.2. The alarm failed to go off three times in the week and a half I had it, making me late to work. That was the dealbreaker. I researched this and have seen random other HTC users having this problem.I am now awaiting the HTC One with excitement as the battery is larger.

The phone is blasting fast, the system updates have been really good so far, one can really watch full HD movies in it and the main reason why i bought this phone (the camera) just works over 9,000 XD it shoots pictures right when you press the button and they are sick beautiful and clear - I have compare it with the iPhone 5, and its left behind by way far quality pictures :PWe might only complain (as everyone else does) about the non-removable battery and i use it 90% of the time in "Power saver" mode but that should be expected since it has to feed all that hardware.
