I've tried to 'cheap out' on so many printers in the past; you just wouldn't believe me. Right now in the stable, I have an Epson R260 (ink), Canon MX850 (ink), Samsung ML-1665 x2 (Laser), HP 1006 x2 (laser), and HP 1600DN (laser).Nothing can touch this 4050N in productivity. We do a lot of mailings, and I used to fool around with Envelopes in the inkjet printers, and run manual duplex through the cheapie lasers, and finally got a cheapie duplexer in the 1600dn, and you really do spend all your time fooling around with these misfeeds and paper jams.The Envelope feeding for this sucker is fantastic. It plugs into the front of the machine in place of the Manual Feed. There is an electronics module that inputs settings into the printer, and has it's own feed and roller mechanism. Envelope printers I was looking at online started around $5k. This was under $200 here on Amazon.The Duplexer is awesome. They are also very inexpensive. The Windows drivers are seasoned enough so that any machine on the network can print to this thing. Windows XP, Vista, and Win7.It's not USB, so if you are not putting this on the network, you will have to dig up a Parallell port somewhere.Controls for setting up a static IP are easy enough.I do need to chase down another paper tray - having a seperate tray for colored paper types will be very helpful.Speed is not bad. Slower then some others, but only by a few seconds per page. You asbolutely make up this time by never having to play with misfeeds or jams. This printer just works.The toner is the best deal going. You can't beat 10k pages for ~$30 anywhere. I have been printing out the Supplies page every handful of print jobs, to keep a running log of usage. I was breaking even on page cost vs my other printers when this thing was down only 1/4. The supply meter is quite granular and accurate. Most others you have no idea until you have 10 pages left. And for a $20 cartridge you get maybe 1k pages.If you can get one of these still, it will probably be the last laser printer you have to buy. I'm that impressed. I'll do a ream of paper at a time on a company mailing. You don't have to worry about a thing. The top feed has a level that detects paper full, and with envelopes or pages, will stall the job until you remove the stack. Auto start again with no intervention.The back of the machine opens up, so with the manual feed, you can do heavy card stock, transparancies, lables.. you name it. Straight through paper path. I would normally have to push cardstock through the inkjet printers, and this printer just does it no sweat.The print driver software has all the settings for quality (RET 1200, RET 600, Draft) as well as paper settings (labels, cardstock, about 12 different things), and handles everything itself.I can send big, mixed jobs to the printer from multiple workstations and not even have to check on it. I know it will work OK.I've actually been thinking about buying another one just to have in case this one dies, or maybe run two at once.

We had these printers when I was in high school, I loved them so I bought one of these for myself, I definitely can't complain a bit. Seems there's a little issue sometimes on the paper tray that deals with paper size that I haven't worked out 100% but for the most part, I think this is the best printer I've ever bought and sure beats the hell out of stupid inkjet printers. If I could, this would be the only printer I'd ever use. Whoever says that old technology from the late 90s to early 2000s isn't usable in 2013 is absolutely nuts. Half the time, this stuff is much better than 2013 technology as far as I'm concerned. Anyway, buy this printer, you won't regret it!

I purchased this refurbished printer to replace our old, broken-down 4250, since it actually cost less to buy this than to have the old one repaired. It has been in use in our office for a few weeks and so far, so good! It seems to be working as it should and, upon calling the company due to a setup problem I was having, they were very efficient at getting back to me to offer help.

I purchased a new fuser knowing I would need it soon and finally installed it to find that the arm that directed the paper was wrong and had to swap it out with the old fuser and that ever since I have installed this new fuser, my printer is having problems. Not a very happy person and will not purchase this ever again.

The Toner was a waste of money. It is not working as specified. It gives Blurry printing, you can see the ink all over the Rotary Drum in the Toner. You get what you paid for and some times you won't even get that.

The product was as promised. Factory kit in sealed, new condition. Great buy at a much-reduced price than list. Easy to install and brought our 12 year old machine back to like new printing condition. Would highly recommend this buy.

I totally regret not paying the extra money for the name brand toner cartridge.The toner leaves residue on all the copies and it is very gritty.Will never use a generic brand again.

The HP Laserjet 4250 Fuser Maintenance Kit arrived on time. The instructions were excellent for installing these, walked me through each step.I had 2 installed within an hour. The price was great, the problem was solved with our streaks in the middle of the page, and easy to return instructions.

Picture shows a open box HP product, selling a cheap knock of. Hiding that its not a HP product in the title with the word "compatible" is bush. If you wanted to be honest, you'd make it very clear this is a off brand knock off. Just understand what your getting. As for the performance of the cartridge... garbage. It's not worth the $24 (now $19).Sad, sad, sad

Ordered for HP4100 laser printer.FIrst cartridge leaked after about printing 500 pages. Left blotchy lines down middle of page. I called inkers.com directly and they were fantastic about replacing with a free 2nd cartridge.This one also worked for about a month and then began to leave a line down the middle of page. I called inkers.com a 3rd time and they were gracious and felt bad so they sent out a 3rd unit at no charge and did not want the first 2 units back.Upon receipt this unit was leaking toner all over my printer and leaving a gray haze across the page. I opened the cover and black toner dust was everywhere.Upon my 4th call to inkers.com they became adamant that there was nothing left to do and set me adrift.I brought my printer to a local cartridge world for them to check out. They showed my why the 3 cartridges were incorrectly "remanufactured" without putting new drums or wiper blades. Inkers.com simply drills a hole in the top and fills and old cartridge with toner and then melts close.It's really to bad because the people were very nice and seemed to stand behind their products for 1 year. There turned out to be nothing wrong with my printer as the new cartridge works fine.BONUS-I contacted Amazon directly, over a year later now , and they gave me a full credit to my account!Yeah Amazon...Boo Inkers.

I think we got this for a little less than it is now, but still for under two hundred it's a great deal. It's been working well for over a year... upwards of around 100K pages with no trouble at all. I just wish we could get a good deal on some 1500-sheet trays for their newer 4000 series printers... they're about 3x the price.

Upon opening it up, I could already tell this was genuine. Its the same packaging, blag bag, tags, and breaking strip as the toners I use at my workplace. First few test pages were clean and effortless.

Received in good condition. Had it for 3 month. It work fine. Prints fast and cheaper to run. Number of pages per cartridge is good. But noisy.

I ordered two cartridges for my HP LaserJet 4250N. They looked cheap when I got them. After I installed, both were leaking toner. When printing, all the pages had smear lines.

Can't give it any high rating b/c product wasn't for my own use, I don't like to leave ratings for products that I don't personally use, but the person that requested it didn't give me any negative feed back so this product apparently met their needs.

My first printer ordered came damaged by shipper, when I called the customer service number provided, I got a live person, the first time I called, who took care of me instantly. They shipped a new printer that day, which arrived in good working order. I am very pleased with the product and the customer service received here. I will buy here again and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for quality at a good price.

The print quality is good and works well for everyday printing and anything that does not have to meet the highest standards. The price was very good and I would purchase this product again. I print a lot of copies of items and this works much better than an inkjet printer and the cost excellent.

Not Good. Toner leaks on the page upon first use of the cartridge. I used a cartridge from another vendor and theirs worked fine.
