Really good computer for everyday use and less intensive gaming

Sound. Volume going to maximum by itself. Tech was not able to fix. Returned .

Dislike the volume control. Volume increases to full volume. On line Tech support not able to fix the problem. Item was returned.

Highly recommend but...

After trying to order directly from HP (crap service!) reordered and got closed to the custom laptop originally ordered 3 months earlier in 3 days. Pro: fast processor, light weight, great screen, and no challenges. Con: keys hard to see. Overall: highly recommend for heavy business presentation and personal use.

Awesome laptop but price🤑 is too much. ☹️boot time is 1minute and some time more than 1 min.. overall good laptop,nice display quality, design is too good,good quality of plastic used for framing,battery backup (if you browsering, watching youtube....) Minimum 4 hour's. gaming on battery about 1.5 hour's.but if you want to play games smoothly in high fps without any lag then you have to plugged in your charger in computer..I play some game like pubg pc lite (170fps) , pubg pc(60fps)...

😎Bonus tip------

If you want to achieve 100℅ performance in your laptop then please install ssd (samsung 970 evo plus)+ ram (if possible).

After upgradation....(ssd only)~~~~~~~~

My laptop 🤠boot time is about 10 to 13 sec..
Shut down 5 to 7 sec..

Performance in gaming is too good.
Software opening time is very fast.{ ( Asphalt9 just opens in 15 to 20 sec )( pubg pc lite... 25 sec)(autocad... 7 to 10 sec..)}

Flunked

HP will never get it. Silver keys and grey lettering. No LED backlight on the keyboard. Big failure. Heavy. The mouse pad rarely worked. Frozen screens and required a hard reset. I gave up on user interface right there. Toast.

I have this lappy...i got this from store...if looking for an honest opinion...do go through
So first if uh r looking for a good gaming type uh would have to upgrade this laptop's RAM cuz in this we only get 6gb usable....if uh could include ssd would be great....
If uh don't wish to make any upgrade better to go with another one...but if yes then go for it....
I had upgraded the ram nd performance is drastically increase....
And after ssd...it is perfect...!!
(Disclaimer: Camera/webcame is poor)

overall good product
the ram freq is lower and rpm of hard drive is lower
so lagging some time
otherwise good specs and value for money

Poor battery management

I bought this laptop and from day one I realized that the battery life is poor comparing to an Acer laptop that I had previously to this one. I could get 6 -9 hours easily from the Acer but I hardly get 4hrs from this HP. I have adjusted the battery performance and I'm still not enthused about the performance that I'm getting.

For the most part a great laptop

I purchased this laptop a few weeks ago and it is a nice laptop for the price and very fast compared to my old HP laptop. There are two main cons I've found so far. First of all, forget seeing the letters and numbers on the keyboard if there is a bright light shining on them. The second con that has been mentioned in many other reviews is the fan is very loud. One thing that seemed to help tone it down is adjusting the Maximum Processor State in the advanced power settings to around 75 percent. Otherwise I have been very pleased with this laptop so far.

New favorite laptop

Good laptop! My 6 year old laptop went bust after much use and this was the perfect replacement. It boots up gery quickly and the battery lasts for a long time! If you're thinking about replacing your old laptop this is a good choice!

Disappointed

Product was working great at first, then there were issues with the microphone, the computer was not recognizing the microphone and continued to get error messages. I tried all the trouble shooting prompts and still nothing.

Not good

Is this laptop really a touch screen, because it doesn't have this feature. After the use of few hours, it gets too hot. Battery gets reduced automatically from 90 to 50 percent with in a minute. Sometimes screen Pixel gets dead on the side. I am not satisfied with this laptop and hoping to return this product

Unreliable Warranty Service

Fan broke and made a horrible noise. Customer service is repairing it, but:
1) They offered me a loaner computer on the phone but never sent it.
2) Told me my repair would probably only take two days. We are 5 days in so far.

Good value for the money, easy to use

Very good laptop for the money. Easy to use. Keyboard is easy, (and previously I mainly used a desktop). Seems sturdy, good picture. Very pleased. I had done research on my own, and decided HP Pavilion was the laptop for me. I then found out that both oh my children also had an HP Pavilion.

Performance is good

The performance is good. The design is fine. Starts up fast. I installed Ubuntu with no problem. The fan makes a noise which is not really annoying compared to my other laptops, I guess it is acceptable. Overall, I am pretty happy with it.

Wait a month and get garbage

I ordered a computer with 10-Key that I need as a road warrior. After the order was placed I was informed it would be two months. I should be happy it was only one month? Then I get a Chromebook. Not a real computer. No 10-Key. I paid for a computer and I get a dumb terminal that is only good for online work.

Exactly what I needed

Smaller than my last HP Envy 15 laptop. Nice package overall. Great performance. Several reviewers reported that the fan was very loud. On my unit, it is not loud at all - it is much quieter than other laptops I've used. There must be some defective fans out there - it is apparently not a flaw inherent in the design or parts used.

Performance good, cooling bad

It does not have a touch screen, not sure why this was advertised. The performance on the machine is fine, however it is a big problem that I had the laptop on my desk and it was so loud and was working WAY too hard to cool itself. I ended up sending it back because it was so noisy when it wasn't under any stress or heavy load.

This laptop is terrible for the £299 it costed me. The build quality is terrible and I have had paper bags feel less flimsy then this laptop. The keyboard is extremely cheap and feels like you are typing on a 20 year old computer. if you really need a laptop on a tight budget I would Recommend a Lenovo chromebook because they aren't liken h1

I didn't get what I ordered.

I order a laptop with Windows 10 Professional, Intel Core i7 and 16GB RAM. I received a laptop with Windows 10 Home, Intel Core i5 and 8 GB RAM.
I will update this review if it's remedied. There are no other issues. It's really lightweight.

Awesome product, yes you can go for it.

I am giving this review after two days of usage.
This product is really good, when I took this product, there was no review in it.
So now when we talk about its review, it is really good. The booting time is only 9 seconds, the graphics is quite awesome. There is no issue of heating even in this summer month. Battery backup is 7 hours in normal use, the full time is 3 to 3½ hours with video and 2 to 2 and a half hours if you talk with the game. The sound quality is quite good. The keyboard light is quite attractive. Overall speaking, this is a very good product, yes you can go for it.
