Hoya is Best, though try HD filters if you are using for high end lenses.
Well I bought it for my new 80D's 18-135 lens, Hoya maintains it's quality and renowed brand so apart from what it delivers for that as everyone expact makes it the obvious choice.
But something they need to work upon are the rings on the filter..it made that sounds when I fit it on my lens...wasn't a smooth experience. :(
I also see some adhesive kinda stuff on the edge of filter..yet to check the filter in outdoor conditions.. will update.

Just amazing product and fits nicely on Afp dx 70-300 nikor ...
Just amazing product and fits nicely on Afp dx 70-300 nikor lens. Does its job perfectly but cutting out the bright uv rays causing color abbration. Would suggest to go for it

This Filter , i have used quite a few times and found to be very useful in hot sun light.. It gets clear pictures and does what it says would help to. Further ,it acts as a shield for the main lens. Certainly useful and value for money.

Best UV Filter To Keep Your Lenses Safe
Hoya is my always go-to brand for UV Filters to keep the lens safe. There's no notable drop in picture quality. However, it's best to remove the UV Filter if you are planning to use ND / CPL.

Just what I wanted
The UV filter is designed to cut down haze when taking photographs but most photographers - myself included - use them as a means of protecting the optics on a camera lens (fujifilm HS50EXR). I have always found Hoya UV filter to be very well made and flawless optical.

Good glass
Fantastic glass.Have used it for a few months now.Shooting birds , butterflies and other wildlife.Also shot some indoors.The color representation was quite accurate.I did not find much of a difference with this filter on.
hoya glass quality and build is good.bang for the buck

Go for it blindly
The best filter available in India and value for the money product. Dont go for any other cheap brand( except B & W which is way costly). Got it for 750/ in lighting deal.

Original Hoya UV filter, fits perfectly
Original Hoya UV filter, fits perfect on both of my lense,
Canon 18-55mm & Nikon 50mm 1.8G.
comes in nice packing, easy to clean.
although there is no such significant difference in JPEG/RAW with & without filter, but yes it does protect the lenses from accidental hit from front.

Good quality n build.. paisa wasool product...A must have product for better photography.. I am using it on my Nikob D5200 and 50mm 1.8g prime lens... Very gud picture quality

Happy with Hoya 52mm Ultraviolet UV(C) Haze Multicoated Filter
Purchased primarily to protect the camera lens from dust and scratches. Happy with this filter so far and it has not effected the quality of the photos taken. The pictures are clear and sharp after fixing the filter. I strongly recommend for purchasing this UV Filter.

Sealed product has finger mark
Quality of product is very good. When I opened it Glass itself has lot of finger marks. Quite surprising.

Seems good and clear
Seems good and clear. Metal frame is good as well. Noticed some green reflection when I held it at a certain angle while I was cleaning it. Not sure if it affects picture quality. Could only see the green reflection when held at an extreme angle with a CFL light behind me. Straight on it seems absolutely clear. Great price. 4 stars because of the green reflection.

Perfect product!
Nice product,. It's genuine one. Fits well with my Canon 550D (52 mm filter). Picture clarity is also very good. Worth buying to protect the lens from Ultraviolet rays, dust and damage.

Useless product
The product is totally waste it reduces image quality, image looses its details as lens add its own tint/ colour to images. So totally useless product. Good for those who can sacrifice image quality to protect lens form dust. And the best thing is that u can not return it only MAY replace it.

Nice quality
Though built in Phillipines and not Japan, quite sturdy in build. Metallic build, not plastic. You can screw on the lens cap after putting on the filter which is very helpful. Yet to test how the pics appear after putting on the filter.
