Great with one reservation.
Great looking, quiet and big with a good variety of settings - however there doesn't seem to be one to simply spin as a standalone setting which is disappointing.

Extremely quiet
Very pleased so far, extremely quiet even on a 1400 spin cycle, you can hardly tell it's on most of the time (partner didnt realise it was running at first). However there is a small rattle from near the top that sounds like wiring or something wobbling about inside.
The door sticks out further than we thought it would, probably 2 inches proud of the front of the machine.
Quite a complex process to unpack properly and remove all the transport supports but make sure you do otherwise I imagine it'll be really noisy and probably break.
Can't comment on reliability as only had it a couple of weeks but the 5 year warranty (30 years on the motor) is reassuring.

Disappointed
Had an AEG for 12 years but sadly the available depth required a different machine so opted for the Haier- yes it’s minimal depth! Paid for fitting but got half a job as they couldn’t connect. Had a plumber in to resolve.
Have only used once! there is a rubber seal which dribbles when you open the door. So disappointed

Good product, very quiet. I would have liked 1600 spin speed as clothes are slightly wetter than my last machine.

Relatively expensive Chinese washing machine
Haier HW100-B14876 10Kg Washing Machine only has serial number on a bit of loosely attached sticky paper on back and inside door edge, instead of normal permanent metal plate - which doesn't fill me with confidence. Reviews elsewhere suggest the warranty may not be worth the paper it's written on.

Quietest dryer I’ve owned, but no basics like bleach whitening cycle.
It is nice looking and washes my clothes.
It runs very quietly and economically.
It is has a large capacity, in a compact size - 56 cm depth including door.
It doesn’t do bleach even though it has a hole to dispense it (no supported program cycles).
Water remains on the door lip when done.
I’d pay for the installation next time because the number and difficulty in removing all the bolts take a long time.

A very good, quiet machine.
A good and quiet machine, but has quirks.
Installation: Important that you read the instructions on page 26-27 first.
Undo the 4 transportation bolts and remove the rubber bungs. Unscrew the 10 philips screws holding the two large brackets at the rear and put brackets to one side. Pull out the 2 large metal rods at the bottom. Fill holes with plastic clip-on blanks supplied. If you don't follow the instructions, things will be very noisy when you use the machine.
Quirks: Water fills drum a bit at a time, not all in one go. Drain pump keeps stopping and starting during draining and spinning. Apart from these, a very good start and forget machine.

Faulty, but changed without any fuss
We bought this machine because it was meant to be quiet and had a longer warranty. We are a family of four and wash almost every day!
Unfortunately the first wash almost deafened us with its screeching and the machine moved across the room....not the best start.
On speaking to AO the following day, we decided on a different LG machine which was delivered two days later with no fuss or additional charges. Thank you AO, we are very happy with our new machine and your excellent customer service!

Good machine, be weary of the deceptive timer
Hadnt heard of Haier before we purchased our Fridge Freezer. However, 2 years on the Fridge Freezer is still working fine, so we though why not give a Haier washing machine a try - Afterall it does have a 5 year warranty!
The machine uses similar technology to LG with the magnetic drum spin.
it has a nice spacious drum - and a bonus light inside which illuminates when the wash is finished and drum opened.
It has a good amount of programmes and heat, spin, rinse are all editable.
There is also an added steam function, which I am not too sure off at this time (at least during Winter, as it goes from the washer straight to the dryer, cancelling out any benefits of the Steam function). Perhaps summer will give us some new insight into this feature.
The one downside:
I have noticed the timings can sometimes go up - making the timer on the machine quite deceptive at times. A wash that was meant to finish at 15:00 finished at 16:25.

Machine is fantastic!
Nice modern looking a million times quieter than the machine we used to have. Fits perfectly under the counter and has an even bigger drum than we had before!
To top it off the delivery lads were amazing and couldn’t do enough for us upon delivery.
It may be a brand that we hadnt heard of but we thought why not it has a 5yr warranty! So even if it goes wrong we are covered!

Brilliant
Bought to replace my mums old washing machine my Nan had this make so I decided to try it too. She is amazed at how much washing can fit in and also how quiet it is. Her washing machine before was around 30 years old and really needed replacing as it would take the fabric conditioner so she is overjoyed with this one. Have had to put the beeps on so we know when it’s finished as you don’t really hear it spin either.

Excellent product
Love how quiet this washing machine is even when on a high spin. It’s so easy to create your own washing program to suit your needs including time, temp and spin speed. I would definitely recommend this product.

Love this machine. Very very quiet a mnd washes well. Steam function for that extra cleanse.
Do have to remember that the default spin on most settings is 1000 not 1400.

Haier- the best brand you never heard of
What a piece of kit!!! Far superior to the Bosch it replaced and so unbelievably quiet. You hardly know it’s on. Steam function does duvets etc and acts like a little dry cleaning machine.
All for £450 - don’t let the fact you’ve never heard of the brand out you off

Great so far
Great delivery. Happy with product so far. Only used it for a week so the verdict is out.
I managed to find out how to activate the beep and sound very happy I did.
Only strange thing is that there is a small pool of water in the gasket after each wash load which makes your washed washing a little wet when you remove it. I'm not sure why but otherwise very happy with the machine.

High spec low price
Really quiet , perfect choices of wash programmes and times , easy to use and set up , a large drum for a big family wash , a really wide opening door and a bonus light for the drum .

Quiet but spin is not good
We decided that a quiet machine was the most important feature so went for this one. It is quiet, much more so than our previous machines, but by no means silent. We had to compromise on spin - the spin is not great, clothes come out quite wet. Water pools in the powder drawer which is a silly design - difficult to put the powder in at the back. Water also pools in the seal which is very annoying as it wets the washing as you pull it out of the machine. This appears to be a design fault. Fabulous drum size, wash lengths acceptable. I hope it will last, there seem to be a lot of fancy elements that could go wrong, seems pointlessly over-engineered. Time will tell.
