I would recommend this camera...it's outstanding. The videos are awesome and the still pics are just a great. I take a lot of outdoor video and this camera makes the whole process easy.

I can't believe the Hero 2 rattles just like the original hero.
I've asked for a replacement from Amazon in the hopes that the one I received is actually bad and that the hero 2's aren't supposed to be like this.

My friend had the original Go-pro Hero which I thought was amazing. The new Hd Hero 2 is much better than orginal. fantastic quality, easy to use the menew camera. I would definitely recommend this camera & the LCD back screen as an extra so that you can view the quality of the pictures you take & video.

I bought this camera for my new son-in-law's birthday. He just loves the camera they took it on their honeymoon to Puerto Rico. Filmed while snorkeling, and a zip line through the rain forest.

First of all, I was shocked at how tiny it was without the shell! This camera has created so many hilarious clips of me and friends in the outdoors, especially after speeding up the video by 800%. Timelapse is my favorite mode, it never fails to amaze me. Its very durable, but I expected the battery to last longer. Other than that, its given me an excuse to go out more!

The videos are excellent. For the past couple of years I've been shooting with with Flip MinoHD while snowboarding. This thing is so much easier and hands free. The fish eye look of the wide angle lens is great. Still pics are not so great, but acceptable.

Used it as hemet cam as well as on a pole for sledding and other outdoor fun. Great shots! I like that it can take stills as well as video.

The video quality is great, needs a little boost on picture quality. Works great while kite boarding but the waterproof case gets foggy when it is wet and gets direct sunlight.
It didn't come with anti fog films nor lens.

I purchased this to use while snowmobiling, skiing and riding my off road motorcycle. It works excellent in all situations! My only complaint, and is a minor one, is that there is no good way to tie a lanyard on the camera case in the event it should leave the mount. I'd hate to loose my $300 camera in the deep snow!

Having played with the GoPro Hero2 for a few days now, I can only conclude that this camera is an inexpensive, yet critical staple for any production to have on hand. You just never know when you're going to need the unique point of view and mounting options that the GoPro offers.

The GoPro HD HERO2 is outstanding! Took our first videos on an atv ride and the quality is great. I would recommend this camera/video recorder to anyone looking for high quality pictures and video. Very simple to use and very user friendly.

I love the GoPro HD Hero2 but I should have waited. It will be on sale at the military exchange for $249, no tax. I got the Motorsports from Amazon and bought my accessories elsewhere.It's a fun little camera and is very easy to use.

Got the go pro for no particular purpose but impressed with the quality of the video, mounted it to the side of my Suzuki GSXR1000 and the stabilization was great.
Very happy with the product, will grab the wifi backpack when it comes available for purchase.

Great product! For never having an HD camera before, I think the picture quality is fantastic. It's definitely worth it though to get some video editing software.

I use my camera mainly for skydiving and for that purpose I would not upgrade. Hence, the first version of th GoPro is sufficient and there is no big difference. If you are going to buy a GoPro I would buy the first version now when it is on sale!
