Ryzen 3000 ready
I wanted to get a picture here for everyone to see- this MB has the latest bios that is Ryzen 3000 ready. It even says it on the package
This MB was perfect for my build(3700x). Easy to install and an excellent price. The WiFi works flawless and it has plenty of headers for rgb, sata, and more.
Would definitely buy again and hopes the picture helps those that are unsure about the compatibility

When upgrading to a 3000 series CPU I was torn between getting something cheaper and b550 and more costly x570.
I don't get any value out of overclocking Ryzen CPUs. Some solid 3600mhz RAM and a decent cooling system and you're looking good at stock with these CPUs in terms of real world performance gain, so with that in my mind I opted to choose a B550. With no need for wifi or anything else, this is a fantastic board at its price compared to the competition and I think at its price point is the most compelling as youre effectively just buying nice to have features like WiFi or additional headers for things like USB C if you spend any more. These to me are nice to haves but I don't have any need for them.
It did come with BIOS version F2, and I ran into stability issues with xmp enabled and running at my corsair vengeance pro's rated 3600CL18. The next bios version states memory compatibility as an improvement and the AppCenter tool from Gigabyte easily updated my bios while in windows to the newest release. Fixed all stability issues. The board does have QFlash, so if you buy a 5000 series CPU you'll still be able to flash the bios if you don't post. (updating bios without a cpu, ram or anything if you're not sure what QFlash is)
I wouldn't recommend this board for overclocking CPUs, but I don't recommend it on Ryzen 3000 series anyway.
In terms of memory, run through the BIOS updates and you'll get XMP running fine in my experience. There seems to be a good enough power delivery to get into it with ram overclocking but I haven't tried to yet.
So far the board has been great, I can't hear any of the VRMs while gaming and support for 3900XT out of the box was great. There are less USB ports than I'm used to but enough for me. If you plug a lot of peripherals in and are considering this board, a decent USB hub is you friend.
The one design flaw are two the holes to screw the motherboard into place. Since they're in/near the heatspreader in the top left they're not as say to get to. Have some fine tweezers reday to help out there.
TLDR: Update the BIOS, it's super easy. This board is fantastic and if you're not overclocking anything other than enabling XMP, you won't go wrong here.

Performance is good, but I had a few issues.
I chose this MOBO because it was one of very few ATX, AM4 MOBO's that had WiFi, PCIe (NVMe) SSD M2, and was reasonably priced.
So far everything is working good, but the install wasn't without a few issues.
First, the WiFi antenna included with my board, had different connectors than the board itself, so it wouldn't plug in... I checked the box for an adapter, but nothing. Luckily I had another antenna laying around that did fit, so I was able to use it.
Also, I tried reaching out to Gigabyte support about the WiFi antenna, and the only support option available was via their support website, I opened a case but didn't get a response (24+ hours later).
***Update from Support.... I finally got a response telling me to contact customer service (they provided an email) and provide them a photo of the incompatible antenna/MOBO, which I did. They responded asking for a copy of my invoice, which I provided, then I received a generic response stating "If you'd like to make a purchase of Gigabyte Products or Accessories etc... Please complete the attached credit card authorization form."
Bottom line... they were no help!****
I also had a little trouble updating the bios. After the bios update (which indicated it was successful), the computer got stuck rebooting. The RGB lighting on the board turned off, the fans went to full speed, the display was frozen, and the mouse and keyboard became unresponsive. After about 20 min, I just powered it off, and back on, and luckily it came up with the new BIOS installed.
Another disappointment is that only one M2 slot (M2A), supports PCIe "X 4" SSD, which also happens to be the only M2 slot that supports M2 SATA SSD, so I can't install an M2 PCIe X 4 SSD and a M2 SATA SSD, because the second M2 slot (M2B), only supports up to M2 PCIe "X 2" SSD and does NOT support M2 SATA SSD's.
I would have liked to install one, 500GB M2 PCIe SSD for OS and applications and one 2TB M2 SATA SSD for storage, only to avoid the added cabling and keep a clean install. Unfortunately that's not possible with this MOBO, so I'll have to use a traditional SATA SSD for storage. Maybe this is to be expected in this price range?
Also, when you use the M2 slots some SATA and/or ASATA ports are disabled (this is normal), but I wish they would include some covers that could be placed over the disabled SATA/ASATA ports, so that you can easily tell which ports are unavailable for future changes/additions, without having to refer back to the MOBO manual.
All-in-all, I think this board offers a lot for the price, but Gigabyte Support and Customer Service are severely lacking.

Great mobo for amd ryzen 7 2700
So far so good, had the product for about 2 months now and have personally had zero issues. Was packaged well and arrived quickly.
Im running a ryzen 7 2700, with 16 gigs of corsair vengence 3200 ddr4 ram, corsair 750 psu, amd msi rx580 8 gig oc video card, and a 500 gig ssd, all in a phantex p400 case

Did i just receive a refurbished motherboard? the anti static is so crumpled. Backplate with no plastic. A piece of paper i think an old manual from 2012. with Intel motherboard in it. and written in French. and No Sata Cables.

Dispkay did not work without an additional graphics card.
I wanted to get the MB going with the included display ports but was not able to do so. After installation and booting the computer there was not video when plugging in the monitor on either the HDMI port or the DVI port. No POST as well. I tried to get help form Gigabyte but to no avail. I have 4 computers running Gigabyte MB's but this was probably my last one. The only way to get this board going was to purchase a separate Graphics Card which increased the cost considerably. Why including a couple of monitor connectors if they do not work!?

Better than the Asus b550 strix f I used for another build recently, partly due to price but also more fan headers, more usbs, I think no disabling of two sata ports when pci-e all used not sure on that but no mention in manual, and (probably, haven't booted yet) no incorrect naming of intel lan device in bios which prevents driver install without using manufacturer software. I think I'll be buying Gigabyte again from now on, but I'll be sure to check the cpu support page.
That said, this mobo doesnt support the 2600 cpu. Bummer considering how popular and still good that is. Anyone hoping to use the 2600 as a stop gap until the 5000 series becomes more affordable had better pony up for a 3000 series instead. I've had to pony up for a 3600 instead. That said, its a good board.

Did not last a month
I made a gift for my parents and used this board to build a pc for them. I always used asus boards which have never gave me a single problem over the years. This gigabyte mobo has bluetooth and Wi-Fi for $130, that's why I chose this model. Unfortunately, it didn't last even a month. One morning it ended up not posting with CPU and RAM red LED's blinking. Like I said it was a gift that I shipped to another state, now when it stopped working, my parents shipped it back to me. I fixed it and sent it back to them again. Bc this mobo failed, it cost me additional $160 for shipping the PC back & forth :| Well, enough whining, lol. ** In the end, I ordered asus rog strix B450-F and that fixed my problem. Hopefully it will last long like all my other asus motherboards. Will never buy gigabyte again.

Box presentation is very good, comes with an anti static bag, plenty of accessories and all the help and guidance you need to get started, very user friendly. BIOS software is very intuitive, offer plenty of customisation, and has multiple fail safes in place just in-case you do something wrong. The board comes with a plethora of headers for fans, RGB and aRGB headers, it's offered me a lot of flexibility for my build now (which involves getting rid of that value ram, i'm sorry you have to see that) the placement of all the connectors makes it very easy to hide cables, the reinforced PCIe slot gives the graphics card some extra support from the dreaded flex, and it also comes with 2 m.2 slots with 1 heat sink provided, although another can be purchased at a good price if it's needed. overall i'm very pleased with the board, it looks gorgeous, the build materials are absolutely top notch, and customer service is so helpful.

Good while it lasted.
Worked great when it worked. But died after a month. Did not overclock and it did not over heat. Usually gigabyte makes descent boards but not sure what happened here.

You will read a lot of comments of this board crashing, WiFi issues, usb faults. I can confirm that this is correct the bios version on mine was F3.
If you update to F13e all these issues are 98% fixed.
My computer is now much more stable and I can actually game properly with out it blue screening.

Flawless
This has to be the best value for an AM4 motherboard on the market. It has superb specs - very nice lighting and design - tons of options for wiring - supports 3200mhz ram.
It boots very quickly, no unnecessary splash screen (something I used to hate on old Gigabyte mobos).
The WiFi is phenomenal. It connected immediately and is very fast.
So far, this has been a flawless piece of tech.

Otherwise a good board performing well and well laid out but the RealTek 8125 network chipset lets the whole board down. 3 months of constantly updating to use the latest firmware releases and it still dies once or twice an hour. Only fix is to disable the network adapter and restart. Close to giving in and buying a network expansion card. Very disappointed by Gigabytes quality control letting this problem get in to production and for clearly failing to apply sufficient pressure to RealTek to resolve this very widely reported issue. Avoid.

Works great!
This had everything I needed and the price was great when I compared to buying a Mobo without WiFi/Bluetooth and having to buy a separate card instead. I'm running it with a mushkin 120gb nvme as the main boot, and a ryzen 2400g CPU with 16gb of Corsair lpx vengeance 2666 ram. My only complaint is some of the gigabyte software is really clunky and I haven't been able to add any new utilities to the gigabyte app, namely their fan speed controller. I also had issues with storemi which I ended up having to remove, reformat, and reinstall Windows 10 without it, but everything is running smoothly now without it.

Update 1 - Fails to POST
Update 1 - replacement MB arrived, same issue. I contacted GigaByte, they informed me that the BIOS on the B450 was not configured for the AMD 3000 series CPU and must be upgraded. The trick is how to update the BIOS, with no POST and no video. They offered a few solutions, all which I am not thrilled with
1- send the MB to them and they will update it.
2- take it to a local shop and have them do it.
3- contact AMD have them send a boot kit to enable you to boot, update the BIOS.
4- install a 2000 series processor which should boot and let you update the BIOS
If I had a spare Proc, i would do option 4, Option 3 seems the next least painful
Waiting on AMD to respond to my request for a boot kit.

Really solid itx motherboard. Only problem was when working out how to fit my NVME drive in the socket beneath the heatsink...the manuals make no mention of this.
There is a nut/spacer that has to be removed to allow the fitting of the NVME drive. I have various socket sets and an iFixit tool set...nothing was the required size. I was on the brink of using pliers, never a good idea, when I remembered seeing a little socket in the packaging of an old Gigabyte X470 motherboard I own. Turns out it's exactly what's required...it's a socket with a Phillips head which allows you to unscrew the nut/spacer. Why on earth is the same 1 cent tool not included with this motherboard.
Just the 1 star off for what is actually a great motherboard.

Great Performer With Lots of Features!
The reason I ended up choosing this motherboard is because the amount of features you get for what you pay such as the Bluetooth, and WIFI included on board. There is a lot of small things that make this board great to, such as the integrated I/O shield, Dual Bios, AMP UP Audio, and much more!
I Built this computer for school, This board featured everything I wanted plus more. The motherboard bios is pretty simple, although some people might need to run a bios update prior to using for certain things. The motherboard is very nice, everything is very simple, But if you run into issues refer to your manual.

I bought the X570 I for little extra and they are nearly identical except for some changes to the m2 heatsink and the 2.5gb ethernet (which is reported to be faulty on this board).
It works well but there are only 2 fan headers and lots of pointless RGB headers. The board has built in RGB but the colour can't be changed.
The BIOS is lacking a few options and automatically sets RAM voltage to 1.38v when XMP is 1.35v but the board is working well other than these software issues

I have always liked Gigabyte Hardware!
To look at this MoBo it is very stylish and has a lot of wanted features! but in use it is not as stable as it needs to be, its nothing to do with overclocking or the bios, its very glitchy and with any gpu i have tried its very unstable when trying to play game, convert or edit videos, its like in any intensive task it will glitch and bluescreen, i have tried other mobo's with the very same cpu and gpu with alot better results (as in no problems) I sure i am passed my just return and replace time so i will just hang it on the wall to look at! and don't get me started with usb functions like transfering files it will just fall out of sync with anything plugged in front or back usb inputs! Guess i have to look elsewhere for another mobo like asus, not msi either, very bad experiences with msi products!
