I just received two of these through Dell.com.
They are not able to be daisy-chained. One of them did not work at all. It would not recognize any input from either my Macbook or my Windows laptop. Both have USB-C DP-in. Monitors are something that should "just work". This one apparently doesn't.

Plug and Play on iMac 27 5k
I got that off the dell website.
I was concerned about setting it up with a 2019 iMac 5k 27.
I had nothing to do... plug and play. just plug the USB-C cable. The Mac recognized the monitor as 4k. done.
The colors are very accurate, resolution is similar to apple 5k to the eyes.
I just wish in 2020 monitors had an auto-dimming feature like cell phones do, or at least the ability for the computer to dim it, well they don't.
It's a good buy but I can't help to think that is expensive when today you can buy a large 4k TV for that same price.
Overall a good product specially if you do photo editing.

Refund process with Dell was a nightmare
I had to use Paypal's dispute process to get my refund. Dell was unreachable. No more!

Bad product
Had this for 3 months and started getting flickering horizontal, vertical lines.
Was under normal warranty but Dell support said I needed a special warranty for replacement. Now I wasted 500 dollars.
Had a 4 other ultrasharps over the decade and the quality I can tell by this model has degraded.

It works great!
The usb-c (thunderbolt 3) cable provides my Macbook Pro 2018 15" power, data (usb devices connected to the usb ports of the monitor), video and audio in a perfect manner.

Bought for Ability to Raise Monitor
You can raise the monitor by 5", which helps when I raise my desk for standing up. The stand could be a bit more stable, however. Monitor screen itself if very clear.

Great Monitor specially for Macbook users, Recommended for Coders, WFH
I have a 2019 Macbook Pro with MacOS X. I ordered this monitor in July 2020 after reading the reviews. It is completely compatible with the latest Macbook Pro. Came a little late but the setup was hassel free. Comes with a USB-C cable as well as a HDMI cable. I am using USB-C to connect to my Macbook Pro. No setup required, I just plugged in the monitor and turned it on, connected the USB-C to my laptop and viola!! It configured by itself, no extra settings! Just plug and play. Also has a HDMI cable in case you want to connect that. I use this for coding and work and the image quality is great!!. Best for WFH and a bang for the buck. Highly recommed for anyone looking to buy a good monitor compatible with Macbook Pro.

This is a good 4k monitor from Dell. I am using it for my Macbook pro early 2013 model connected via the display port (mini display port to display port cable). Have been using Dell U2412 before, and this monitor is almost the same physical size (due to less bezels). Have tested with iPad pro 12.9 inch with USB-C and it works well with out any issues. The monitor can route the audio through both display port and USB-C (haven't tested HDMI but it should work).
There are three USB downstream ports and the single USB-C downstream port can charge devices, but only the USB-C and one USB port supports 2A, the other two have only 0.9A, which is enough to charge headphone but will not charge most of the mobile phones or tablets.
Pros:
* 4k IPS anti-glare panel
* 360 degree rotatable stand
* USB-C with 90W power output
Cons:
* Dell display manager not available for OSX (the support team is little rude in mentioning that they won't support OSX and are not intending to do in future)
* The volume can't be adjusted (on OSX) when the Dell U2720Q is selected as the output device (dell support also have the same reason that the only support Windows 10 and 8 at the moment)
* 27 inch is too small a size to run on the full resolution (3840x2160), but it's quite good at 2k (2560x1440)
* The stand is pretty strong but it does wobble when pressing the with the OSD controls, moving these buttons towards the center of the screen should have solved this
* There is only one display port but the product images it shows two.

Dell U2720Q is an excellent monitor which is factory calibrated for colours, which means that you will not need to do additional colour settings to set up the display. Inside the box you will also find a separate report for color calibration done specially for the monitor in the box.I am using this with MacBook Pro 2019 and its works very well as a secondary display. The built quality of this monitor is excellent and best in class. I bought this monitor specially because it has a USB C type port which also charges your Macbook Pro while also displaying the content at a 60 hertz refresh rate, which is better than connecting the Macbook Pro through HDMI cable. Being a product designer I always require to match colours on screen v/s on paper shade card for various products I design, hence I would recommend this monitor to all who are looking to fulfil their professional requirement of keeping a secondary display with best colour output which is in par to the Macbook Pro, I Mac or Mac Mini systems. I would also give 5 stars to ergonomics and easy assembly of the monitor!

Hey guys, just upgraded to this monitor from my trusty old dell ultrasharp 24 inches. At the outset I must say we are a trading company and we have dozen of dell ultrasharp 24 inch monitors. Being a guy who designs UI and interface stuff, I wanted to see how a 4K monitor changes the whole trading experience for our traders by obviating the need for multiple monitors on the desk. I must say I am underwhelmed and would like to warn you that more pixels doesn't automatically translate into a better world. Most softwares wont be able to handle 4K resolution. This is applicable for windows as well as linux(ubuntu) world. Without scaling Icons appear too small in size to be usable, causing major eye strain. Scaling can work, but then we are paying a heavy price for pixels but not using them properly. Scaling also leads to haziness in text, graphics, which is not fun at all. Secondly all mouse actions and fast scrolling actions become slow. I am not sure its my video card, probably 4K has too much computational load. So snappiness is lost resulting in poor usability feel.
Although we are not multimedia guys, but let me hazard a guess. This monitor would work really well for multimedia work. But not for text based guys such as programmers and anything that has got to do with reading and typing lots of texts.
So if you are having the upgrade itch, drink a glass of water and take it easy. your 24 inches are doing just fine. In case you must try it, buy it from a dealer who will give a no questions asked refund.

This is a very good monitor. The display and colors are really great. If you are a programmer then you will love to work on this monitor. You may need to purchase separate C-type cable because with the box you will get a 3 feet long cable.

Excellent display, smooth fonts. Wanted to to buy a 27-inch monitor with good display and connectivity(USB-C). This monitor is just perfect, both from connectivity perspective, great display and of course right size for regular office work. Not sure from gaming use, but right choice for working people!

False Advertising
The monitor itself is amazing but the pictures provided are not what you get. The pictures show 2 display ports, 1 HDMI, and 1 USB-C port. However the product I received only had 1 DisplayPort. Paying $600 you’d think you would receive what was advertised. Nope. If I didn’t need a monitor so badly right now to telework I would return it.

For a regular user it's perfect
After reading a bunch of review both here and elsewhere I was quite skeptical before buying this. Everything from quality control to compatability issues. I don't game or do any kind of editing, I just needed a monitor so that 1) I'm not craning my neck and looking down at my laptop and 2) it had to look nice because I refuse to stare at something ugly for 8+ hrs a day. I ended up reading so many reviews about the connection not working and improper scaling, red spots, green spots, backlight bleeding, etc etc. I unboxed it today, plugged in the usb c cable to my macbook pro and voilà this gorgeous display was up and running. I've been using it for hours now and I'm thoroughly satisfied. Definitely recommend getting something with bezels as thin as this because the aesthetic is unparalleled. I have this on its lowest brightness setting (1/100) because my room is dim with accent lighting and I don't understand how anyone could think this isn't bright enough. So all in all I can't speak for power users but since this monitor is clearly not designed for gaming, if you want to use something for office work that looks great, this is a solid solid option and for the price I don't think there's many close to it or look nearly as good. I watched a bunch of 4k videos on youtube and colors and sharpness were phenomenal. If you're reading this and don't want to game or do editing, definitely don't let the other reviews scare you off.

Quality control is non-existent
I now have both U2718Q and this current model U2720Q. Overall it's a good monitor with solid performance.
The quality control however is non-existent on the later one. The bottom bezel is not properly glued to the screen and there are pretty large gaps. It's a bit annoying since both monitors sit side-by-side in a portrait orientation and you clearly see the defects on the newer one.
As mentioned in the other comments, the back panel only has 1 DisplayPort connection.
