Oh yeah, monitor was ok, just not that much better than my current 24" inch Dell

Early shipments of the U2718Q were plagued with color issues. People were complaining that the greens were too intense. I didn't experience this myself. The colors on my U2718Qs were reasonably well balanced and pleasingly saturated in a mix of uses from image processing to web surfing. My only complaint, which began to surface when I started using the monitors in a dual-screen configuration, was that the left and right edges were a little dim compared to the rest of the display, which was otherwise evenly lit.
In the U2720Q, the edge-dimming is mostly gone. Lighting is uniform across the display. Text looks a little more contrasty and crisp. There are no dead pixels that I can find.
But the color issues that plagued the U2718Q appear to be back. Blacks, whites, and blues are fine. But the reds, greens, and magentas are close to blowing out. It's really kind of distracting. Grass looks like a caricature of real grass -- much too yellow-green and bright. And the magentas on the Apple News app icon and the orange on the Firefox icon? Whoah! If your intention is to use this monitor with Lightroom or Photoshop, think twice.
The only solution I've found for this so far is to go to the color section of the menu and choose the Color Space preset mode and set it to sRGB. That seems to bring the color balance and saturation somewhere near to reality. Another solution is to choose the Game mode and drop the saturation back to about 40.
While I was fussing with this, I also noticed that the menu buttons are tiny and hard to press. I'm not sure what's up with that. They were fine on the older model.
The base of the monitor has been slimmed down from the rather expansive base of the U2718Q. I kind of liked the appearance of the old base, but this one takes up less room, so your mileage may vary. They did move the cable port up a few inches on the new base, which means that the cables are mostly hidden in normal use. That's a plus.
Another plus is that this model has USB-C connectors in addition to the normal ones.
Overall, though, for a price north of $600 and for a second iteration of an exIsting display, I'm a little disappointed. I would have thought that Dell would have got it right this time. If I find a decent U2718Q on eBay I may even return this one.

I too was struggling holding the top of the monitor to press the buttons- then I realize that if I use the tip of my pointer fingernail, the buttons press very easily. You just need to tap the in the center. I put my thumb against the bezel or my other fingers under the bezel and press with the pointer- voila- not a problem.
As far as the monitors this unit it is accurate, vibrant and has a host of ports which act as a hub for your peripherals. Using a MacBook with USB-C is just terrific. I plug my Mac into the 90 W powered port under the monitor and it becomes a unified system as opposed to components. It's my" Macindell" Corny but true.
I use a Logitech K811Bluetooth/unified keyboard via Bluetooth and a Logitech Master 2S and the moment I touch either of the peripherals, the monitor comes alive or goes to sleep as desired.
It has another powered USB-C on the side as well as USB -A and two additional USB-A on the bottom.
The monitor literally rotates 90 degrees, so you have access to all you bottom ports without a strain. I believe you can set it via the display preferences to run in portrait mode as the drivers on the MacBook immediately recognize the Dell the moment you plug the MacBook into it. The Dell powers the MacBook.
Another terrific feature is this 3840 x 2160 (2160p/4K UHD 1 - Ultra High Definition) monitor which doesn't need scaling as many do or the desktop would look tiny. This monitor "Looks like 1920 x 1080 @ 60HZ so you have double the pixels making a solid rich display.
It's been a couple of days but so far the MacBook is cool and I keep tabs on the sleep using a little softeware gem called "iStat" which monitors just about every system function from temperature of the CPU core, fans, to state of energy over time.
It's a great monitor overall- no buyer’s remorse- except sometimes I wonder if I would have enjoyed a larger monitor with the same features- never enough for me. Good Luck
I bought this from Dell as they offered a $100 gift card and the availably was better but I am a habitual Amazon buyer and wanted to share this great experience.
