Very good product, Excellent Service

The product arrived well within the Delivery Window but, the packaging was poor - there was insufficient internal packaging so the item was floating about, freely, inside the outer carton. Fortunately, it was NOT damaged but, could easily have been.
The product worked well, out of the box and was ready to use. It would benefit from having an Operational light on the front of the case but, this does not affect the operation of the produce.
I am very pleased with the product and, the Service I have received from the supplier.

Would recommend.

Used to replace a very old desktop. Arrived as new, no dents or scratches on case. Works beautifully and does everything I require. Trying to get my head around windows 10, but that not the computers’ fault. IT Buffs customer service staff very helpful. Would recommend.

False advertising..Refurbished..No warranty

Purchased this item for a Dell Precision. Extremely finicky, every time is a nightmare to reconnect. Totally stopped working in 9 months. Return period with Amazon had lapsed so I contacted Dell. They said it was an older unit based on the service tag and was no longer in warranty. In the future I'll know not to buy from this merchant because it is less expensive to buy from directly from Dell and get an honest product including support and a warranty.

Update:
I just received an email from Dell that this item had already been returned, and was probably sent as a refurbished after that time. Basically, I was purchasing what was presumed as a new product but was actually refurbished with no warranty.

Displays will not connect

I bought this to work with my Asus monitors and it has been very finicky. The monitors do not show up unless you have the cable in when booted up. So do not unplug the laptop to go to a meeting, since you will need to reboot your PC.
Once in a while the dock will not be recognized for no particular reason. The external monitors will go gray.

The this selling has registered thee devise in Korea, so there is no support for the first 13 days, since it takes 7 to 14 days to transfer the device to the USA and my name.

Also the PC fan runs all the time the dock is connected.

Not happy overall. I have had better luck with my Dell d6000 and Dell d3100.
It works but not always.

Lots of updates but runs great once you get going

I couldn't get the dual USB C connectors to work at first. Several firmware updates and reboots later it started working and I've had no problems since. Great dock performance overall

Bad resolution for HDMI

I have 3 monitors that I want to use with this however, the HDMI will always downscale the monitor to 1920 X 1200 which is awful, even worse it would downscale my other monitors to a lower resolution as well. Please upgrade the HDMI in this to modernize it, please and thank you.

*UPDATE*
After 3 months it has stopped charging my laptop. Now I have to us an additional connector with my laptop.

Unstable Connection

This works fine when it recognizes that a laptop is connected. On many occasions I would have to unplug the power source to to "reset" the dock so that it would connect to my laptop. I didn't have any issues during the first couple of months but after 5 months, I'm having to reset the connection by unplugging the power chord.

Item Registered in Hong Kong, Very Difficult to Transfer Ownership

I was having an issue with the device after about 3 months so I tried to get a warranty replacement but couldn't because it is registered to someone in Hong Kong. Did I get a refurbished device, unknowingly? I paid for the 3-year warranty but cannot use it until ownership is transferred. I contacted Dell to try to get this device's ownership transferred to me. The first time it was denied so I contacted Dell again and after a 1.5 hour phone call, the transfer has been approved and is now in progress. I should get a confirmation in 1-10 days. I wish I knew this was going to be a refurbished item as it does not state that clearly in the description on Amazon. Big hassle.

Reliable fully 50% of the time

My experience so far has shown that display, keyboard and mouse function is somewhat flaky. Unfortunately getting a reliable solution in these areas is exactly why I got the device. Looks well made and once it is up and running it does seem to keep working. However, plugging in a new laptop sometimes requires a reboot or two before both keyboard and video (have tried DP and HDMI) will work correctly.

Unstable device

Dock works great when it works. Many times I will have to unplug the dock from power and wait a few minutes to get it working again as the pc won’t recognize it. Seems to be a common problem based on other reviews here.

No AC Power Adapter included

Just a heads up - the 180W AC adapter that give the dock the power is not included in this package. You apparently have to provide your own or buy it separately. It's a 19.5V output / 100-240V Output AC adapter. Not sure why they don't include it. Seems a bit silly to me.

This is what I received. It looks like a Dell product, it was in a Dell branded box, but the service tag is not valid and the numbers don't match. Stay away from this seller at all costs

Excellent soft touch keyboard, welcome change from my mechanical keyabord.

Pros:
Compact keyboard, soft touch but there is enough pressure that prevents accidental & very delicate touches from registering a keystroke. Your wpm will really improve after switching to this keyboard from a fully mechanical keyboard.

Cons:
The space bar could have been a bit more wider and curvy in design. function keys' width could have been more, just like a mechanical keyboard.

Best Keyboard in the category of membrane keyboards (Works well with MacOS as well)

If you are one of those who
1) Need verbose general purpose keyboard for your desktop
2) You are programmer/content writer but cannot afford mechanical keyboard
3) You do not require LED backlight keyboard.
4) Expect letters on the keyboard are clearly visible (a mandate)
5) Expect this one to perform well when used by kid or a geek or an elderly person at home.

Very poor quality

I don't know whether the seller or Dell is doing bad here. The quality of the keyboard is very poor. The keys are supposed to soft press. But this remembers me of the old typewriter. Keys are very hard. Very poor keyboard. Programmers do not buy this at any cost. I'd be returning this if possible.

Dont buy it if you want to play Game

Read it properly. this keyboard is great stealth keyboard for typing and normal use..but for gaming it is not suitable..i have faced the worst issue..the main feature to play RPG game the anti ghost feature is not available that means you can not use 3 key simultaneously while gaming i.e if you sprint using W + SHIFT key then you cannot jump using SPACEBAR or any other key...i have faced it in Assassins creed and PUBG where you have to jump heavily while running.. so make proper research before you buy a normal keyboard for gaming.. i had no idea about this feature before i faced it. And as per amazon policy you cant get a refund only replacement..so you will be trapped. Apart for this its a good keyboard for typing and normal use.

One of the best keyboards.

I bought it for Rs. 450. The printed price is Rs. 649.
This is a soft keyboard.

Pros-
1. The build quality is excellent.
2. The keyboard is a soft keyboard. It means that there is no space for the dust to go inside the keyboard. The space between the buttons is filled by the plastic cover. (as shown in the pics).
3. It has all the required buttons.
4. The number-pad is given at the right side which is an additional advantage.
5. The buttons are extremely soft and easy to press.
6. The cable is also very good and lengthy. It is around 1.5m long.
7. There are two stands provided at the bottom (one at left and one at right). You can use these stands and thus make is somewhat inclined in order make its use more comfortable.
8. The lights for Numlock, Capslock, Scroll lock are provided. These light in white color and are quite bright.
9. Less chance for dust collection in the keyboard as there is not much space for the dust to go inside.

Cons-
1. The keyboard is way too soft. If you are a hard keyboard user then initially you'll face some difficulty using it. It may happen quite often that you press any key for on letter and the same letter may get printed more than 2 times. So if you are a traditional keyboard user (hard keyboard user) then you need a few days to get used to it.
This is actually not a con because this is somewhat advanced design.
2. Somewhat costly. You can get some cheap keyboard in local market but obviously the quality of those is nowhere close to this one.

Final comment- If you want to purchase a keyboard for a laptop or PC and if you can afford it, it is the best available choice in the market. Go for it without thinking twice.

Sleek chiclet keys and overall design, but double pressing issues

This sleekly designed keyboard comes with chiclet styled keys (keys with low height, like on the iMacs or laptops). I went for this design because of the low key height, so that even if they get hard with dust later on, the low height will make it less stressful to press.. The narrow design of the keyboard is good for making it fit in small space. There are small, sleek indicator lights on num/cap/scroll locks.

However, on the negative side, the keys double press for fast typists like me. I have to correct a lot of my typing once I am done using this keyboard. Another problem are the media keys that rely on "function" keys. You can activate them for the session permanently by pressing a combination of the FN and ESC, but that doesn't remain after restarts, and also makes the actual F9–F12 keys secondary.

For the cost spent, this is a decent keyboard, but not as great as other reviews make it out to be.

Poor quality

The keyboard is of cheap quality, the cheapness is to the extent of keys getting struck all the time. I am very disappointed for the value I am receiving. I am sure such a cheap quality can't be unnoticeable to users and even getting to think that if Amazon is manipulating user reviews to trick buyers go for products which are not worthy of buying. The review ratings are like a joke now.

Button get harder after 1-2 month

#Design:
Noting to say here we can see what is in the picture it's almost same, although I expected little slimmer like my laptop, it is double the height of my laptop keys, (I had added an image for its real comparison)

I went for this design because of the low key height, so that it will be less stressful to press.

but here comes the twist after use of 2-3 month the ctrl button becomes very hard and it slows down my typing speed,
to press the ctrl button, need to press on the centre of the button if you try to click on the corner it will not press even if you put all the pressure you have in your little finger.

#Problems I face (issue)
1. buttons not slim as expected
2. some buttons get very hard which need extra attention while typing.

#Openion / Summary
don't buy if you want something slim and soft button to work,
No issue if you only want to play games or not a regular user.

Great Product

After using it for around half a month. I can write points in.

Pros:
1. Keys doesn’t make sound when pressed.
2. The keyboard wire is long enough for CPU if it is under the desk.
3. Have Caps Lock & Num Lock lights on keyboard.
4. Dimension are compact and light in weight. Two legs below the keyboard are provided for inclining and adjusting the height.

Cons:
1. So far so haven’t come across anything bad except the price was 700₹. I guess, 500-600₹ suffice the product.

It's a wonderful product, designed to suit anyone who operates it. The best part are the rubber stoppers at the base that prevent it from sliding over your table. It feels like one is operating a keyboard on a laptop.
It's performing very well right now. Time will speak about it's durability. Expecting it to keep upto it's name - Dell.
