Отличный коммутатор. 8 портов, 4 из них POE. ПОЕшные можно использовать как обычные, только строго патчкордами...

- + Работает с 4мя POE камерами на удалении 50-100метров плюс в порты 5-7 подключены комп-регистратор на удалении почти 100метров, и еще 2 таких же коммутатора на удалении по 70 и 90 метров. Кабель 5 категории, чистая медь. Алюминий обмедненный не берите никогда- на таких расстояниях нужна только чистая медь. Советую бюджетный качественный медный уличный кабель-
Кабель информ. Lanmaster (TWT-5EUTP-OUT ) кат.5е 4X2X24AWG PVC внеш. 305м черн.
https://www.citilink.ru/catalog/729416/ - - 2 отверстия под крепление на стену- не глубокие (~1мм в глубину). 2 шурупа под них найти с тонкой шляпкой оказалось проблемно, пришлось стачивать головки шурупов. В комплекте с коммутатором шурупов для крепления не идет!
2 шурупа для крепления на стену хотелось бы видеть в дальнейшем в коробочке с коммутатором.

- - Неудобства при извлечении коннекторов.
Какой, скажите мне, изощрённый ум догадался спроектировать розетки защёлкой вниз?
Коммутатор у меня закреплён на стене, и что-бы извлечь коннектор нужно ухитриться отогнуть защёлку, к которой моим пальцем хрен доберёшься!
В общем из-за этого пустячка больше ни в жисть его не возьму и вам не советую!

3. Универсальный (4 порта с PoE, 4 обычных Ethernet). - - Не обнаружено.
Несколько таких коммутаторов более 2 лет используются в составе систем IP-видеонаблюдения. Зарекомендовали себя с лучшей стороны!
Еще несколько коммутаторов использованы в при построении разветвленной Wi-Fi-сети. Точки доступа запитаны от PoE.
ВНИМАНИЕ! Соблюдайте требования монтажа. Обжимайте кабели ДО подключения их в коммутатор и устройства, в противном случае Вы рискуете устроить короткое замыкание.
Еще несколько коммутаторов использованы в при построении разветвленной Wi-Fi-сети. Точки доступа запитаны от PoE.

Excellent build quality and great value for money
I purchased this POE switch for my CCTV setup, I use it like any other switch whether POE is required or not. It's slightly big however, this isn't an issue for me. If you're looking for a good value POE switch I'd definitely recommend this, never had an issue and D-Link is a good brand to get.

Unmanaged Gigabit PoE plug 'n Play goodness
Purchased as a Black Friday amazon warehouse deal to help expand my home network and I needed PoE to power my Grandstream VoIP phone too.
It required NO setup configuration, I just plugged the "Incoming" data CAT6 ethernet cable into the far right port (number 8), plugged the VoIP phone into one of the yellow marked "PoE" port to power it and plugged the 3 PC's in the home office into the non-PoE gigabit ports... and everything worked out of the box.
The VoIP phone only runs at 100 megabit, so the port light for that one flickers orange, the rest all give me full 1000mbps throughput... now I just need to upgrade my broadband package again to take advantage of the bandwidth!

So good that I purchased another!
This product is great for the home and office. It's completely enclosed in gunmetal and has a good weight to the item. It has 2 lights on each Ethernet port which is nice because alternative options often use 1 LED that is capable of orange and key. I also like that D-Link included an earth screw at the back, which is nice hooking up to metal shelving. I liked this product so much I replaced all my plastic hubs in the house. The build quality, performance and features of this design make it an easy 5-star product.

Beware may not be new
Purchased two of these switches.
One arrived packaged and sealed normally
The second had the outer seal broken on it, when opened the adapter had clearly been uncurled and then stuffed back into the box, the mounting kit is missing and the switch itself had been removed and again stuffed back into the plastic packaging with clear fingerprint smudges on the case.
Clearly it was not brand new and was likely a return or possible even refurbished model
Worse yet it was a direct supply from Amazon not a 3rd party seller.

Outdated 100Mbit/sec model, 10 times slower than needed
I've been dismayed to discover "fast ethernet" means 100Mbit/sec only. Can't imagine one anybody would want such a model these days when all of your PC-s, laptops and the WiFi router provided by your ISP are nearly certain to be Gigabit ethernet e.g. 1000Mbit/sec, 10 times faster.
What I and likely need instead is DGS-108, not DES-108

Had purchased a cheap switch and didn't last so I went for a brand name which I hope was more robust , very easy to install and did what i required time will tell if it is better quality.

Can't Fault It
Well there isn't much you can say really other than it does what it's supposed to do and it does it well. I actually measured the performance and there was no detectable delay using the device. Certainly you will not see an increased ping. There is nothing to configure. It just plugs in and works. :D

Great unmanaged switch
hooked this up for new internet setup with a draytek modem and edgerouter X. Speeds of 59 mb (promised speed 52 by openreach) so working great! entire house now has great connection with low set up. Plug one ethernet in any of the ports and use the others to extend. no need to configure etc.

Easy to install good quality product.
If you have a bt/sky box and an android box and possibly thinking of an amazon box too, also a home cinema reciever with a ethernet connection this is for you...We have ours connected directly to our BT hub with cat 6/7 Ethernet cable (ordered on amazon). Our BT tv box and blu ray/amazon netflix app player all work smoothly with no blocking or stuttering. Bought a second one for our sons bedroom, again wired straight to hub with cat 6/7 Ethernet cable, directly into smart tv, Xbox and gaming pc. This combo will make a difference.

Very compact.Comes with self-adhesive rubber feet and screw mounting holes on the underside.
Previous reviewer commented on power socket on opposite face to ethernet sockets making tidy cabling difficult. I see their point but the cable is pretty thin and flexible; it could run behind the switch when wall mounted.
Planning to buy another once I've decided how to run the cable.
(* Not tested against a statistically significant sample of idiots.)

Bargain! Even as a candle effect too!
Brilliant value for money, one scary thing, but it’s not a safety matter, the colour of the LEDs are deep orange, and their random flicker and intensity in a dark room can convince your brain there’s a fire! There isn’t, but it’s a great flame effect!

This device works correctly, BUT the "smart" fan is impossibly loud, so much so that it stops us getting to sleep!
It may be a one-off defect (might try disconnecting it!) but do not buy if fan noise is a consideration!!!

Plug and play
Excellent bit of kit. I love this - at last, a bit of IT kit that is just plug and play. What more can I say... plug it in, plug in your devices and it just works! Nothing else to buy, no configuration. All this for a bargain price. Oh, and it's solidly built as well.
