This memory is stable and overclocks very well, and it passes running both Memtest86 and Prime95. The only drawback is the height of the heatsinks might interfere with your CPU heatsink.

I like the vengeance line of ram I have it in several computers and it works great. Have tried other ram but I keep going back to Corsair.

I bought this Kit for a pair of PC that i have with plenty of devices, but testing them just in one PC, surprise instead of Windows x64 memory handling, this kit barely flyes!! My work PC is so fast now that i'm thinking to buy another one for my second PC! Cons: In overclocking they are very hot, thinking to buy Corsair AirFlow Memory fans to both kits!!100% Recommended!!

I have the 8GB (2x4GB) so I thought I'd get the 16GB. The RAM was faulty as shown by all the RAM test utilities. I already have the 8GB so I will just get 8GB more of the same RAM instead of the 16GB. If I didn't already have the XMS 8G (2x 4GB) I would have bought the GSkill. I find that with all my builds, I've never had an issue with GSKILL ram.

From the Benchmark the Q9400 got 3077 PCMarks score. The 2600K got 4339. Not much upgrade? For me it was well worth it. The q9400 is actually not bad but I needed to upgrade my motherboard since it can only have 2 memory slot and buying an old memory is expensive so decided to upgrade instead. From 4GB to 32GB. Whew! Why did I wait this long. What a difference! I know it is overkill but it is better to have extra. My puter doesn't choke anymore. :) I'm a wedding photographer so I do a lot of editing... and having a good CPU and lots of RAM makes a lot of difference. I use ati firepro v4800 as well.

Memory itself is just great, I've put EKWB on 2 sets of those even though they do not heat up at all :)However those sticks do not work well on X79 chipset.Apparently intel 2011 socket processors according to tech specs can only support more than 4 memory modules with mhz not exceeding 1333.If 1333 mhz is exceeded then "bad things" tend to happen.Having 8 sticks of this memory on P9X79 Deluxe everything worked fine for few days, then 2 memory modules stopped showing up. (Well, they show up, however cannot get working, swapped ram around, decreased frequency, nothing helps)So summing everything up instead of 64 gigs of ram I have 49.1 pair would be a great purchase, however if You plan on combining 2 sets then think it through thoroughly :)

I started using virtual machines on my computer and needed additional memory. This memory was already in my computer (3 years old) so I added an additional 6 GB. This memory is rock solid and Amazon got it to me quickly (USPS) using the basic delivery option.

I picked two sets of these up to upgrade my home PC to 32GB of RAM. At first they wouldn't run as my ASUS P8Z68 Deluxe/GEN3 needed a BIOS upgrade, but as soon as I upgraded to the latest version of the BIOS for my system (3304), everything on this RAM worked great - so chalk that up to an archaic BIOS. Once that was done, I was hitting the 1600 speeds I should see normally. Performance has been great, hitting the top level on the Windows scores. Very happy with it, the chips aren't too huge (even though those fins on the heatsinks look like they are,) people with small cases might want to beware, they are rather tall.

I have an I7-2700K processor with the Intel Z77 chipset and this memory works well. I would note that my motherboard (both my old one and new one) sees this memory as 1333Mhz instead of 1600Mhz unless you enable the XMP profile. I may not be the most knowledgeable when it comes to hardware, but that makes me think that the memory is actually 1333Mhz just overclocked to 1600Mhz which is a little deceiving based on the product description (hence the 4 stars).

great ram with well made heatsinks , much better than corsair vengeance but not as good as corsair platinum.....nothing wrong with kingston , geil , ripjaw , or crucial but i have always had a crush on crucial ram

This is a great selection for your memory and it has worked well for me for over 1 ? years. I installed this memory into an AMD 1090T CPU computer and I purchased it because I wanted a match set of four modules. I am using it in a Gigabyte GA-890FXA-UD5 motherboard and I have not had one issue.The modules are running at 1616MHz with the timing settings at 8,8,8,24 and running at 1.65 VDC. The Windows memory hardware ratings are 7.6 out of 7.9 on Windows 7 64 bit operating system. My system has booted up every time without failure. I also have stress tested the memory with memtest86 and did not have any failures.These memory sticks come with a lifetime warranty backed by Corsair. I like this memory and have actually purchased several sets for computers I have built for other people. I recommend them as being a good choice for your next system or upgrade!

Mine worked beautifully on my ASUS x79 socket 2011 board. I filled all 8 slots with this and Win 7 ultimate sees all 64GB at 1600. Did not fit under the Zalman CNPS12x CPU cooler.

I ordered 3 packages (total of 6 DIMMS) and they are great memory. The only issue I had was one of the DIMM was bad (had a bad chip). It started causing blue screens under windows. Amazon did an exchange and they paid shipping both ways. Overall a good product even with a minor snafu of a bad chip.

This set of RAM has been very solid for me, so far. After countless, random BSODs, I decided to replace my system's memory to try and fix it once and for all. I put this set in my old Asus P5E3 Premium/WiFi-AP @n motherboard and it fired right up. The timings were recognized immediately and one click had the RAM running at its rated speed. No BSODs so far and my system feels a tad snappier. Awesome! I highly recommend this set of RAM.

This WAS being used in a Intel DH77DF Motherboard with the new Ivy Bridge i5. It worked great. The only issue I had which is not the fault of the RAM is that Windows Home Server only supports 8GB max...doh! Didn't realize. So off it goes back to Amazon.

I bought this item to build my first true "Monster PC". 16gb is awesome but 32gb is just rediculous and at a great price. Corsair is a leader in the market and I highly recommend this bang-for-the-buck item.
