The ram runs fairly well. I built a new rig about a week ago with this ram, and I have to say that I haven't had any issues with this yet. The heatsink was something to take into account when thinking of the install, as it may get in the way of larger cpu coolers. I was fairly confident with the cooler that i had purchased, so I decided to get this set. So far, I haven't seen any issues while gaming or using my computer as a media center, and the utilized percentage stays fairly low.

Found this on sale for 60 from amazon, very fast ram at a good cost. the black plastic casing on the outside of each stick is a little weird and im not sure why they put it there but it fits and work so im happy.

Works great no complain at all. And for the price I pay less than 100 dollars a great buy. The heat seeks make the memory even more easy to install.

It works, and very great on my sabertooth z77, the only cons is that the heatsinks are way too tall, go for the low profile ones instead

Nice piece of kit, at this price no reason not to have 16GB RAM. The branding is a bit cheesy but it's black so it's all good.

Bought this because of the price compared to other memory sticks. For my needs I thought the 1600 MHz was enough and has proven to be quite adequate.

I bought 2 of this pack, and one of them came damaged.I wrote an email to Corsair customer support service, and they answered me at 5 minutes, I told to they that I'm in Venezuela and I didn't know how do in this cases. They helped me in all the process of return the package from Venezuela to USA.Any brand by itself is nothing if doesn't has a customer services like this.

The memory arrived ahead of expected date in good packaging and installed inmy PC with no problems. Did a mem test and everything looks great.This is the same memory I originally bought when I built my PC 2 years ago sothese sticks have the same specs as the memory I have now.It was a fair value but not great but over all I'm quite satisified with my purchase.

My Windows experience score went up by 1.0 point. They have to be installed in pairs not odd numbers for them to work well.

What can I say... massive heat sinks... great price... great product! Can be pushed way beyond 1600! I've built multiple systems with this memory including top-end FX8350 and I7 gaming boxes and never had a failure!

My son purchased this ram disregarding the poor reviews......and soon found out why it has such bad reviews. We were trying to build his computer but the system was very unstable we checked everything even switching the motherboard out then in a fit of almost intelegence. I took some ram out of my computer and everthing worked. so we found this ram was very unstable and caused a reboot loop cycle that was very anoying. We decided to go with the Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 MHz (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory (CMZ16GX3M2A1600C10) it is worth the extra 10 bucks. And his computer is now humming right along.

I dont know what I was thinking, bigger is better I guess. I have not yet used more than 8gb of ram. I am a gamer, and a movie watcher. Maybe if I was a video editor or something this would be useful but for now, its too much. I dont mind seeing <50% mem usage at all times though. Its comforting.

I noticed a better price on new egg a few days after I bought these. I would have saved a bit, but they have done well in my system. I would purchase these again.

It's Ram, and it's fast. works like a dream.16 Gigs should be more than enough for most users out there. It's still more than you'll need for 90% of video games out there.

Works as described, but remember: If your building your computer (and maybe just adding more memory), go into your bios and make sure your set at 1600 MHz. The standard setting is at 1333 MHz. It won't harm anything, but you wont get your full potential unless you change it.

I placed these two memory modules into a new ASUS MB with an I5 3570 processor about a month ago. It has worked flawlessly and I will add another 16GB of the same memory soon
