In preparing to build on an Asus P9X79 Deluxe motherboard, I read a lot of horror stories...I read a couple good ones though, enough that I bought the board I really wanted. Assembly went perfectly fine, no problems posting in the end. I bought two sets of this Corsair ram, based mostly on the 5-star reviews. Make mine 5-star too, 64gb memory, working great!

Although I was hoping this would speed up my computer, it doesn't like my processor. I was unaware that it only works on the intel i3, i5, and i7, along with the AMD phantom II (or at least that's what it says on the box). I currently have a AMD 2nd Gen quad core. A buddy of mine has a i5, so I put it in his computer and worked excellent, he got upset when I told him he couldn't have it unless he gave me $100.Makes computers blazing fast, just not mine.

I picked up 16 gigs of this low profile memory as normal hight memory will interfere with my Noctua 6 Dual Heatpipe with 140mm/120mm Dual SSO Bearing Fans CPU Cooler NH-D14 - Retail. It clears it just enough that you can actually remove/replace all 4 memory slots on my Gigabyte Intel Z77 Dual Thunderbolt ATX Motherboard with BT4.0/Wi-Fi (GA-Z77X-UP5-TH) without removing the cooler (only the fan). Good thing to know when it is time to switch to 32 gigs.I've had no problems operating these at 1600 MHz. As other reviewers have pointed out, on most BIOS' you need to enable the 1600 MHz mode - which I did. Passed memtest without issue.

Bought this used or refurbished, can't remember which. Ran memtest86 on both modules and they passed, woohoo! Haven't had any problems for 2 months of medium use. For various reasons concerning my motherboard and BIOS, I made the choice to leave these at 1333MHz in my new build, but when I saw that they were rated extremely high on the Windows Experience Indez, I didn't care. It really isn't an issue, especially when I have 16 gigs of it and can expand to 32 if I choose. I would recommend these as an affordable option that delivers a quality brand.

there isnt much to say about it other then it works...which is probable the only thing that matters.for the price it was pretty good.budge wouldnt allow for onces with heat speaders but these one works just fine. about the only thing i disliked about it. was it took soooo long to get here.was the last thing i need to build my new computer.

went from ddr2 2200 1 gig sticks x 4, to this, wow. running it in my new build asus sabertooth z77 & i7 3770. swtor's memory leaks ( yes leaks ) I laugh at thee now! With these bad boys my memory leak issues on swtor are a thing of the past, i mean they are still there, but with these 16gbs of memory it does not matter, 12 hour playing session, yes I took breaks to eat, but stayed in game, ran 2 operations, 1 flash point, and did alot of solo leveling on an alt, zoning, visited 5 different planets sometimes twice or thrice ( stupid run me around stupid quests ), not a single hiccup, not a single crash because of that "previously" annoying memory leak...ok well previously annoying to me :)

Fast, able to handle gaming and engineering solid models. I purchased this on my newest PC build with intent for high end gaming with occasional SolidWorks use in Nov 2012.Pros:1. Easy install2. Looks awesome (my PC has a clear section on the case. These help the "why is that not in outer space" impressive appearance)3. Very fast4. Never been able to max it out yet (even with highly graphics modded Skyrim.)5. Still expandable to 32 if your running extensive video and higher level Windows 7 or 8Cons:1. Still a bit price heavy, but I got them Black Friday so no issue for me.

I decided to rebuild my computer after falling behind the times. Yes 16 gigs is more then needed for any application that almost anybody needs to run but why not. I did notice my motherboard was clocking them to 1300 so I did need to go into the bios and change it to 1600. Not sure if it was just my motherboard or ram reading that setting but I would suggest double checking it in your bios.

How bad can 16GB of memory be? :)The heatsinks are a little bit large and come into contact with my CPU cooler, but it doesn't seem to be causing any issues. The heatsinks are also pretty close to coming into contact with each other. If you don't have a lot of clearance in your case, you may want to think twice about purchasing these. Otherwise, they work and work well.

They arrived Amazon fast, took about 5 minutes to install and we were in business. They have been running 24/7 on a desktop for a couple months now and no problems. You'll really notice the difference with programs that eat RAM, like Photoshop, or music editing software like Cubase. Would buy again. Installed on an Gigbyte motherboard running an AMD Quad-core processor.

Zero complications. I installed these into AS Rock LGA1155 DDR3 SATA3 USB3.0 CrossFireX and Quad SLI mother board.Follow the motherboard instructions as to which slots to use, A1 and B1 in my case.Why settle for 8gigs of ram unless you only word process. The cost is well worth the extra juggling power.

I have not had any issues with the ram. It was easy to install and has been performing as designed according to the various memory testers I have used.I am happy with it and recommend this ram for others. If you are uncertain if this ram is for you, you can go to best buys website and use their memory finder. This was the top ram recommended for my specific motherboard.

I bought 1 box and wasn't sure if I should just go with 16GB or go all out and get 32GB. I wish I bought 2. There wasn't anything I needed to do in BIOS to get the 1600 MHz. Some MOBOs require you to change that so make sure your RAM is using it using it potential.

I really like the performance I get from my pc after the install of these memory cards. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to see programs that are memory hogs such as Adobe programs and the like.

Memory was somewhat unstable from the start, much worse as of late.Memtest 86 showed varying numbers of errors in test 3, moving inversion 1s & 0s. Removed one 8GB stick to get machine to run without constant seizures/reboots. Anxiously awaiting the arrival of memory from a different manufacturer.

Not much to say when reviewing RAM:- With this memory, I have had a 100% stable system in both Windows 8 PRO x64 and Ubuntu 12.10 x64 after a month of constant use. However, I am running at stock voltage and speed. No overclocking.- Windows 8 Experience Index gave the memory a 7.7.- No stability issues with virtualization in HyperV, VirtualBox, or VMWare Player.I will probably buy another set to take my box to 32GB in the future.

Didn't need anything fancy and was working on a budget. Memory installed on a ASRock B75M DGS motherboard with no issues, didn't even have to mess with stock settings, due to the i3 3240 ivy bridge CPU. All ram was recognized in Windows 7 64bit. A must buy for those that want to upgrade or do a budget build.

Did thorough research on board specs before purchasing. System recognized them on first boot. Things are fine so far. Will post here if any changes.This memory does not have heat spreader according to Corsair specs. The cost of memory is very high right now. These were about $35.00 each.

Bought 64GB total to put into a server I built. Have not had a moments problem with this memory and my machine is screaming fast. If memory chips are compatible with your hardware and you have no problems at all then that is a good thing. Would definitely buy again.

No need to spend large sums of cash on Corsair Dominator or higher end modules (either from Corsair or other vendors) when Intel i7 chips dont benefit much from memory overclocking. (extreme memory overclocking with the i7 rarely results in even a 5% improvement in real world applications or application load times) This is 16 GB for less than $85 with Corsair quality and their warranty at your back. What more needs to be said. Awesome

I'm running 4 sticks of this memory (two 2x8GB kits = total 32GB) in my Windows 7 (64 bit) machine with no problems. I've used Corsair memory for several years and I also use their SSD's on several home desktops and laptops. I recommend Corsair products.UPDATE - if you're looking at this review you'll have to decide whether the comment made by a certain individual is of any value. Apparently this person thinks my review is misleading and I'm lucky the memory works for me. I'm simply reporting a positive experience from using 2 sets of the Corsair Vengeance 16 GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600MHz PC3 240 Pin DIMM Memory CMZ16GX3M2A1600C10 - didn't want to bore anyone with the specifics of the build. The person making the comment appears to be using a stupid sexual reference pseudonym (won't even use his/her real name) and as best I can tell likes to make negative comments about reviews rather than offering information about a product.

The heat sinks do a great job of maintaining acceptable heat levels inside the box. This set provides good memory capacity for running Win 8 Pro.

16 Gigabytes of DDR3 memories for a really spectacular price! With my ASUS SABERTOOTH Z77 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 the combination is just astounding!
